Telvanni headcanons with little to no basis in lore: - Telvanni masters rarely talk to eachother. They communicate instead through a series of elected mouths, each master having a single Mouth (except Fyr and his daughters. All of Fyr’s daughters are his Mouths, but they rarely appear at council)
- Mistress Dratha worships the true Tribunal, and is the second richest and oldest Telvanni next to Divayth Fyr - Telvanni fashion culture is full of elaborate headdresses, earrings, necklaces, and chokers reminiscent of hanfu fashion.
- Masters have the most elaborate outfits, with Mouths having the second most elaborate and lower members dressing more practically( but still elaborate).
- Telvanni masters choose the outfits for their mouths to wear at council, as it is representative of them and their studies.
- Mistress Dratha tends towards feminine, conservative outfits. These often have many silk layers and may come with jewelled veils or overhanging hats.
- Divayth Fyr customises exact replicas of pre-war of red mountain dwarven city skylines for his wife-daughter’s headpieces. He’s the only dunmer who’s been to them pre war, and he’s used his knowledge of dwemer autonatoms to engineer small moving parts in the headdresses. These fashion items are the envy of all other masters and mistresses. He assigns each daughter a favourite city of his.
- Some Mouths are friends or have relationships with other Mouths, but they can also represent their Master’s relationships, with Mouth’s exchanging gossip and small talk for their Masters. Entire romantic courtships have been known to be played out through Mouths (with their consent.)
- Telvanni council chambers are often also used as auction spots for rare artifacts. Masters send their mouths. The imperial legion turns a blind eye, as they already have a strained position politically and tatics wise with their fort in Sadrith Mora (seriously who decided to build an imperial legion fort on the side of a telvanni island).
- Telvanni reproduction is a 50/50, with half having children and the other half opting to live forever through means of necromancy. Many telvanni parents have kids purely in the interest of continuing their legacy. Arranged marriages are very common, with powerful mages being set up together from a young age. Because of this, being a paramore to a master or mistress is a very popular and socially accepted position, and is a way for lower Telvanni nobles to rise in ranks, as they often moonlight as advisers for their masters. The only paramores considered gross or uncomfortable to talk about are Divayth Fyr’s daughter-wives.
- Divayth Fyr’s daughters are all pratically completely identical, save for different hair colours. They have a bad habit of speaking in unision and giggling about in jokes, and give off a robotic alien vibe that leads to many Mouths avoiding them. It is unknown whether they are upset by this, as they tend to keep to themselves.
- Mistress Dratha openly and publicly hates Divayth fyr. She hates him for a mix of his arrogance and treatment of women. Divath wouldn’t care much about this, except most nobles worship him, and he finds Dratha’s open contempt annoying.
- It is customary to invite Divayth Fyr to all upper telvanni events. He will never come. Mistress Dratha has never invited him to an event, and he craves an invite more than the answers to the universe.
- Dratha is a huge lesbian and dominatrix don’t @ me
