Five Nights at Freddy's x Reader

    You were a terrified and timid person. Never would you think you would end up watching animatronics, at night. But desperate times call for desperate measures furthermore, when you figure out that these animatronics can move.

Currently, you were freaking out, had 2 panic attacks, cried 5 times, hyperventilated more times than you could count. Scared to death, as the power is running out, checking the cameras as you see Chica, Bonnie, and Foxy are all on the stage, while Freddy is in the supply closet.... Like he is just waiting for something.

Pretty soon you know that the power would go out any minute... Looking at the time it is only 4 am... you would be a fool to think you'd make it til 6 am...

As the power goes out you are left in complete darkness, staring in the blank space. Your fear rises every second. Like the room is getting smaller and smaller, it is getting hard to breathe, as you see Freddy's silhouette at the door you freeze. In fear and shock, you know there is no way you can survive this.

As your vision starts to blur from tears, from stress, panic, worry, and being overwhelmed. Freddy slowly makes his way towards you, almost predatorily. You begin to hyperventilate, seeing how close he is to you, as your tears continue to fall.

Freddy just looks at you bending down to your level, slowly extending his hand, until it touches your cheek. Flinching hard from his touch, he doesn't pause, as he swiftly and gently strokes it in a comforting way. 

Closing your eyes petrified by him, he just continues to caress your cheek, slowly reassuringly. But tears were still falling, and you could barely breathe, not daring to open your eyes, and face what was right in front of you.

As Freddy looked at your tear-stricken face, he felt a bit of pity for you, seeing how much of a wreck you were, he began to feel bad. But then furious at the higher-ups, that they had sent someone like you to deal with them.

As he was thinking, you slowly started to calm down, as he was wiping away your tears. He began to speak as gently as he could, "Are you feeling better now sweetheart...?"

You were shocked to hear one of the animatronics talk for the first time, but slowly nodded your head. You were of course still frightened, but you weren't crying or hyperventilating. 

"That's good," he said softly, as you tried to look behind him, wondering where the others were. Freddy notices and says,  "Don't worry sweetheart, no one else is here..." still holding your cheek. "Where... are they...?" you ask him nervously, wondering about the other animatronics. 

"The others are still on the stage... No one else is here, but me sweetheart," his tone tender. "Why...?" you softly ask curiously. "We could hear your heartbeat from outside of the door, and with you panicking so much, I thought it would be best, not to have you be any more afraid," he explains, as he moves his hand back to his side.

"What are you doing to do to me?" you ask. "I'm not going to do anything to you, darling... Why would I? You look too adorable to hurt.." he says calmly. Shocked and confused you say, "But... the higher-ups said... in the past... they sent others... and..." Not wanting to finish your sentence. 

Freddy having an idea of what the higher-ups must have said, stays silent wanting to hear what you know. "What did the higher-ups tell you, darling?" "To be careful... and in the past... there has only been one survivor... is that true?.." You ask nervously. 

Seeing Freddy's dementor, he seemed annoyed by what the higher-ups have told you. Sure it was true but, they shouldn't have told you this, they were supposed to keep this from all the night guards. "Yes... it's true," he confirmed to you.

Shocked that he would admit something like that, you remain silent frantic. Freddy notices you state, quietly chuckling to himself. "But you don't need to worry darling... I don't plan on hurting you.."

"Then... why the others before me?" you ask puzzled and afraid. Freddy pauses for a moment like he is thinking of the right words before saying. "They all angered us in some way..." Leaving it as that. But you being the curious person, asked, "By...?"

"A few of them tried to damage us, a few rude and ungrateful, some tried to run away..." he said in a soft quiet tone. "You killed them... for trying to escape..?" You ask shaking, starting to tear up, not wanting to stay here, but not wanting to die.

As Freddy watches your teary face, he reaches his hand out to hold it again, calmly and soothingly. "It's okay, sweetheart... You don't need to cry... Yes, we killed them, because they tried to escape... But I promise I won't hurt you,"

Shaking your head not believing him, you don't even know how many people died here before you came... and to think like you would be any different. Yeah right. As tears start to fall, Freddy steadily wipes your tears.

"Have I or any other animatronic, done anything to hurt you tonight?" He asks slightly annoyed by your resistance. Realizing that he is right, you shake your head again. You could just tell he was smiling at that.

"Good..." He checks the time, it is 5 am, then turns back to look at you remembering that you are still human, and what you went through today he asks. "Darling, are you tired?"

You have been so distracted by fear and panic, not realizing how drained you are... Maybe that was the reason you stopped crying. You felt drained mentally and physically, not wanting to know how red your eyes were right now.

As you slowly nod your head, Freddy smiles at your response. "You looked so darling..." Just as he said that it seemed like he was thinking for a minute before his eyes got brighter. It shined like flashlights, as you felt him steadily pick you up, ensuring you were comfortable as you flinched heavily from his touch. Trying to get out of his grip, terrified of what Freddy will do.

"Calm down... Darling, I told you before that I'm not gonna hurt you... I'm just going to move you over to the dining area, so you can sleep on the seat cushion... it will be much more comfortable, than this floor, right?" he says peacefully, as he stands up, walking.

Liking that idea, being as drowsy as you are, fall more into his grip, leaning against him sleepy.

As Freddy made it to the diner, he gently set you on the couch, and you laid down, feeling context, barely keeping your eyes open, as you finally let them rest, falling into a deep sleep you longed for all night.

 Freddy stood silently to the side, as he watched you sleep. I felt more protective of you, felt the urge to keep you safe and close, and thought about how adorable and endearing you were tonight.

........

Suddenly, footsteps could be heard, walking along the halls into the dining room. As Freddy turned around he could see the rest of the animatronics slowly walking towards him. Looking confused as to why Freddy was in there.

Bonnie was the first one to speak, "What is going on here?" as he noticed your figure asleep on top of the seat cushion.

"I took them in here, they were tired... going through too many scares... more than they could have ever handled. I hoped that they could fall asleep more at ease here," Freddy explained. 

The other animatronics look at you in shock, there has never been a night guard who fell asleep this early before. "Whoa... They're asleep already?" Chica says. 

"They are different... more sensitive than any other night guard in the past... we will need to be more gentle with them..." Freddy starts to explain, as the other 3 look at you in disbelief, not knowing a night guard could be like you. They were surprised to hear how skittish you are.

"So they are more tender? docile? fraigle?" Bonnie asks, slightly confused never knowing a human could be so different, than the ones in the past. Freddy just nods his head in agreement.

"Wow... wasn't expecting that," Bonnie says. "Yeah... I thought that they would be more feisty or spirited like the other workers" Chica adds.

Even Freddy was surprised, at how you acted back in the office, he expected you to try to run or fight him... But no, you just stayed, too frightened to move. 

As Foxy made his way toward your sleeping form, he started to ask Freddy, "Are they going to be okay?... Is something wrong with them?" his tone was genuine and curious. "No, there is nothing wrong with them. They are just more sensitive compared to the others," Freddy said, reassuring.

"But their skittish nature... that might be a problem," Foxy says. "It can be a problem, yes. That is why we need to be careful when around them," Freddy answers, as everyone takes notes on all this new information, starting to understand the gravity of this situation.

"Do you think they will at least run away when scared?" Foxy asks as Freddy remembers back in the office how you acted. "Back when I cornered them in the office, they didn't try to run away," his tone, still confused on the subject.

As the other animatronics looked flabergast, to hear that didn't run away. All puzzled by this new information, Bonnie finally said. "They... didn't run, like at all?" As Freddy nodded, saying. "No... They just stood there... Frozen," slightly baffled.

As the room fell silent, all were still perplexed by your actions and lack of reactions.

But abruptly turned their heads to you, as you started to stir in your sleep mumbling something incoherent. While they all looked at you concerned, seeing you toss and turn Bonnie spoke up slightly worried "Are they having a nightmare?" 

It was like those words were a trigger to Chica's ears, as she walked out of the room. The others were in shock, by her randomness. Until she came back with what looked like a blanket and proceeded to cover you with it, quietly tucking you in. 

Leaving the other animatronics dumbfounded. "Where did she get that blanket?" Bonnie whispers stunned. Watching her, as the blanket covered you, it was like you calmed down instantly, snuggling into the cover.

"I found it, back when we were first made... by the play area... some random kid must have left it... and I have been keeping it since, I tried to do my best to keep it in the best shape, but there is only so much I can do..." Chica explains. 

"Why did she do that?" Bonnie whispers perplexed. Chica ignores him, as she tucks you in, happy to see you cuddle into the blanket content. Foxy, Bonnie, and Freddy silently watch still bewildered, but amazed at Chica's actions. Seeing you all calmed down.

"How did she know to do that?" Freddy whispers amused. Foxy shakes his head in agreement, "Yeah... How did she know how to do it?" Bonnie still asks. "Why did she do it, anyway?"

As Chica looked up from your sleeping form to her friends, she saw the perplexed and strange looks on their faces. "They looked like they were having a nightmare... and seemed cold..." She said plainly as if it was a normal response.

But since this was the first time, a human responded positively to their actions, they were astonished.

"So you just randomly decided to cover them with a blanket?" Bonnie asks confused.

Chica shakes her head thinking. "Not really... I remember that I used to have nightmares, and trouble sleeping... and that problem would be fixed by just setting a blanket over myself," she explains. The others listened intently to her words, taking mental notes. 

"Plus Freddy did say that this one was different... the past workers were somewhat similar to one of you guys... smart like Freddy trying to escape... athletic like Foxy always trying to run... attitude like Bonnie always arguing... I thought maybe finally this one, might be like me..." she says slightly embarrassed. 

As they all think back, it is true what Chica is saying... All of the past guards were different, but the same in some way. None of them got along with Chica... the other three are taken aback, by all of this new information. They are happy that Chica... might finally find someone to relate to, but also unsure, due to never handling someone like you.

As you start to turn in your sleep comfortably under the cover, it snaps all their focus to you. "You mentioned earlier that blankets used to calm you down... May I ask how?" Freddy asks, wanting to get the most information, before you wake up and they have to deal with you.

"Well... truthfully I would always need a blanket to help me sleep... it made me feel safe, like a barrier protecting me from everything... also it helped me feel like I wasn't alone on nights, and just fidgeting with it helps as a stress reliever... but I think the main reason was I had attachment issues..." Chica admits, looking down.

Foxy softly laughs at the last part, which causes Bonnie to elbow him, earning a cough from Foxy, as Freddy listens more. As questions were exchanged back and forth, there was a moment of silence, from thinking of other questions to debating whether it was okay to ask.

"When you had that attachment to blankets... Did you ever like being held...?" Bonnie asks soft and polite, genuinely curious.

Chica hearing Bonnie's words, perks up softly not wanting to wake you, but quickly goes over to your sleeping for on the seat cushion, and sits next to you slowly, as she holds your sleeping form, as you cuddle into her arms out of habit.

Chica smiles looking at you, overjoyed that she was right. The other 3 watch astonished by your actions. Growing excited seeing how different you are from the past night guards.

"They didn't wake up... and leaned into your touch..." Bonnie says tilting his head confused.

"That's not normal..." Foxy softly says shaking his head.

Oh no! The greatest torture Jack could have inflicted! Commercial ukelele music! XD

In all seriousness, there are quite a few things here. Jack expressing his own form of malice toward Ruin for killing Solar, but above all else just wanting to understand the reasons and logic behind it all. Ruin preparing some bodies to use to locate Dark Sun (though, I'm not sure how he's going to use those bodies or how he's going to locate a pocket dimension that technically doesn't exist.) But also, getting a bit more information about what happened in Ruin's home dimension. Apparently, he had to watch over the course of 10 years as the virus corrupted the other animatronics. Which leads me to wonder, even more than before, how he ended up getting out without being infected. He had said before that he was a "carrier" of the virus, but not infected. So, was he immune to it somehow? Was it because he came straight from the creator, where the other animatronics were made by others? It's likely we'll never get answers to those questions, but I also didn't really think we'd get as much information about what happened I that dimension as we have at this point. So, who knows?

And that really was the most angry we've ever seen Ruin become! We've seen him become irritated by Foxy, and later by Bloodmoon. But, he's never gotten truly angry before. Honestly, that's probably why we haven't gotten much about his dimension before; talking about it sets him off, as he remembers how he suffered and watched the suffering of those around him. Like, Ruin still makes me VERY angry, but I can admit I sort of feel bad for him. We love complicated characters with skewed morality that make us feel EXTREMELY conflicted feelings!

whike I mentally prepare myself to make a whole damn comic, it's time I talk about the FNAf movie because fuck you I am going to write what I want

At base value, I loved it. I felt the pacing was a little slow, but I love it. From the little refs to the games, to the in general plot, it was just very enjoyable, even if most of the plot is just from the fact Vanessa didn't tell Mike wtf was going on.

NOW! let's talk technical!

For a pg-13, it was pretty good! I feel it matches the games really well! It's not too scary, but it can give you a startle, especially to any newbie! My mom was startled by the balloon boy lmao. Also it had blood so it's a plus.

The acting, dialogue, and overall set is really good. Scrumptious if I do say so myself.

I loved how the animatronics looked. Freddy and chica being my overall favorites. Idk they made my boy Bonnie blue so I had to take a few points. The cupcake running around was weirdly funny to me lol.

Now lemme touch on the plot!

I liked the plot! Like I said before, it was a LITTLE slow, but nothing too bad. I found it really interesting with what they did with Micheal and the whole dream thing.

And the idea that the children communicate in pictures rather than words hit me pretty hard, because that how I myself communicate. Although I can be.. pretty good with my words, drawing, and art as a whole is relatable to me, making Abby a really relatable character to me.

I really don't understand the hate for the movies bc it's not lore accurate. So what??? A lot of movies based on games don't! I mean- look at the Sonic the hedgehog movie!! Or the Mario movie! So your point is invalid. And also- I'm pretty sure this is a lot more entertaining than watching Micheal do five nights at Freddy's smhhh.

Though I'm sitting here in complete wonder bc like- WHO WAS THE 5TH KID?! WE SEE HER IN THE PICTURES!!! BUT- IS IT CASSIE?? OR CHARLIE MAYBE?! IDK

Let's talk about the cons of the movie.

I keep bringing this up, but the movie was slow. Not unbearably slow, but still slow.

Also, the whole aunt subplot- idk I felt it wasn't really needed except for the mat pat scene (he fucking embraced that scene it was great the theater I was in started cheering and I had to explain to my mom why everyone was so happy)

Also I felt the one major jumpscare we get, of foxy, was waisted. It looked like he was rolling into the security guard on roller blades. I would have liked it if maybe foxy like jumped at the guard or something. Idk just a me thing

I also feel the 'i always come back' line was rushed, same with shaggy's- sorry I mean WILLIAM'S death. It didn't really feel satisfying ig?

also, I felt that Vanessa was more of a plot device than a character. Because most of the plot literally is riding on the fact she doesn't tell Mike the truth.

But anyway

What would I rate this movie, and should you watch it?

I give it a 8/10. It's fun, and nostalgic for old FNaF fans, and a fun intro to new ones. Go check it out

Assuming that Michael is the player for Fnaf 1/2/3/5/6 (I have no idea what's going on w/4), I doubt there is any way that the spirits (including afton kids & William here btw) knew who they were trying kill was.

So, the animatronics are old and kinda crappy right? So the missing kids wouldn't have the best vision, and (if I recall correctly) Michael looks a lot like William. Plus, we know they attacked anyone with a security uniform (rip phone guy), so they definitely didn't know. I subscribe to the headcanon that they were affected by possible murder machine programming in the animatronics from William, increasing the likelihood that they had 0 idea what they were doing, but I don't know any proof for this, so disregard it, this theory doesn't need it.

Aftons are tricker. Based on how Elizabeth talks about William, I don't think her or CC knew about how fucked up William was.

Next CC. First off, "It's me." Which works if you think he knows Michael is Michael, but it works just as well if CC thinks Michael is William. Again, I have my doubts he knew how messed up William was, but he definitely knew how much Michael was - at least Michael as Foxy bro. I do believe CC said, "It's me" with no ill intent. Whether or not it was meant for Michael depends on how forgiving you think CC is. Irregardless of how forgiving CC is, he is still affected by bad robot eyes and falls into the same hole as the missing kids.

Before moving on to William, I want to touch on Michael. I don't think he knows that Elizabeth, CC, & the missing kids think he's William. From what I understand of SL, Elizabeth does talk like she knows the player. As mentioned above, SL is not a game I have learned a lot about, nor have I learned about Eilzabeth. I said I didn't think "It's me" was said with anger/hatred, but I do believe Michael interpreted it that way. He had been fending off murderous animatronics all night, and another one just showed up in his office. What else is he gonna think? I don't know if Michael knew that CC was haunting the Golden Freddy costume, but if he did, why would he think his brother would forgive the person who killed him? As for the missing kids, he knew they were attacking security guards (at least after a point), I doubt he thought they knew how he was.

I wanted to touch on Michael before William because this is a special case. I still doubt that William knew the security guard was Michael. His eyes have to be total crap, and (if I recall correctly) he can talk, so why wouldn't he talk to his son? Why would he be trying to kill him? Instead of trying to control him, find out what's happened since he was gone, etc. That's the same. However, I think Michael knows William doesn't know who he is. And wants it like that. Michael likely figured out that William is treating him as a rando. It's not hard to put together, but why wouldn't Michael say anything? Counterpoint, WHY THE FUCK WOULD HE? He knows what William has done, and he's there to burn everything down with William inside.

I am technically in my 2nd fnaf phase, but I've only really ever seen gameplay of SB & Ruin, and that's from speedrunners. I got this far bc of game theory binge watching. Fnaf 4s lore is too confusing for me to touch, I think it doesn't matter, maybe as motivation? Eh, no idea. 6 is more of the same, up till Henry's speech everyone assumes Mike's (oh fuck. Mike has a nickname. I'm a dumbass, forgive me) some rando, Henry speech alerts them their wrong, but they burn before figuring it out.

Edit: According to AO3 tags, I misspelled Mike's name. Guess I should fix that quickly. (I can't fix the misspelling in the tags here, though.) I also fixed a mistake with Elizabeth's name at one point. Elizabeth was a typo, I have no idea how I ended up spelling Mike's name wrong. (I'm American seriously, how did I do that?)

my overall little thoughts on HW2

I think Steel Wool did a wonderful job with most of the models here, bots like Baby and Ballora and Lefty and Scrapbaby look amazing

They're really getting there!

Love that this game functions as a bridge, during and after Security Breach but just before Ruin- like don't get me wrong, i'm also starving for answers after Ruin, however not immediately charging into the next big chapter and instead letting this game be a.. "small clues here and there and having some fun time at the plex before we have to leave it behind" situation was the right call

Let's talk about the animatronics for a hot sec, my mind is so full of them

I'm a Sister Location truther, so having this many levels with my favorite murder machine gang is giving me extra serotonin

Did not expect Yenndo to show up, like at all, it makes me so ridicoulusly happy

The Bidybabs and Minireenas had their time to shine as well, and BALLORA!! Missed her so much in Helped Wanted but she's here now so can't complain anymore

The ice cream moment with Baby was so oddly... bittersweet? Still have to digest that one, honestly. Oh- and the voice line about how she doesn't want to leave because it's safer here (the Sister Location bunker) stood out to me, it feels so.. Fazbear Entertainment altered, SHE WOULDN'T SAY THAT, YOU CAN'T FOOL ME

They brought back Ennard and i can't be happier, thank you for thinking of us starved fans. THO his model is pretty off, and his eyes not being the right colors really bug me, STILL i'm just gonna enjoy my food, thank you

Loved Glamrock Freddy's mini game and voice lines so much, he's sooo

Classic/Withered Animatronics Continuity Error Theory

Hi!

Now with the pleasantries out of the way, I would like to put forward a theory I have that I'm not sure if people have been talking about as much as they should. This theory is surrounding the Withered Animatronics and why they look so DIFFERENT from the Classic Animatronics even though they are intended to be the same animatronics in the lore. Especially since the 'un-withered' designs of the animatronics are implied to have never existed by sources such as the recently released interactive novel 'The Week Before.' Like many, I have found this error in visual continuity to be REALLY hard to just ignore as someone who really cares about the tiniest of details. But I believe I may have found a theory that addresses this continuity error while NOT RETCONNING ANYTHING! (And you'll also notice a lot of the so-called 'EVIDENCE' for this theory is also based on TINY DETAILS)

So - let's clear one thing up immediately. As suggested in The Week Before, when Phone Guy (Ralph) comments on how he's glad they restored the animatronics back to their classic designs, it is heavily implied that these CLASSIC designs are the ORIGINAL designs of the animatronics, meaning that the 'un-withered' version of the Withered Animatronics NEVER EXISTED.

These animatronics (models courtesy of UFMP & TaddyDudstare, render by me), for a while and by a fair few people, were considered to be what the band originally looked like when Freddy's first opened in (presumably) 1983 and would later become the Withered Animatronics in FNAF 2. But these animatronics? They NEVER EXISTED. Because we now know that the Classic Animatronics were their original designs before FNAF 2.

We have even more evidence to back this claim that the Classic Animatronics were their original iterations from even OUTSIDE the recently released book. Most notably in the CELEBRATE poster in FNAF 1's office and the FNAF 1 trailer.

We can see that the wall behind them is made of bricks.

While the wall behind them in FNAF 1 is a solid, smooth wall.

And if these posters and the shot from the trailer weren't taken in this location, then where? Well, it's not really WHERE, it's more about WHEN. This stage difference is clearly implying that these are at least 2 different points in time. These posters were made BEFORE FNAF 2 in the ORIGINAL Freddy's locaiton. These are shots of them BEFORE we see them in FNAF 2. If we follow the logic made in this tiny detail, then that confirms that these designs existed way before the Withereds ever did.

That also means that the shot of them performing in the trailer is us seeing them work in their hayday before everything turned bad... haunting.

But then that brings up a very noticeable visual design continuity issue. Because, let's be honest, the Withereds and the Classics look WAY too different to be the same designs and I'm not just talking about their withering. They're bulkier, squarer, they have more teeth, their heads are different proportions, Chica and Foxy have 3 toes instead of 2 and Freddy and Bonnie have buttons where they didn't before. Those are just some changes that can be immediately noticed when compared side-by-side.

Naturally, this led people to create these un-withered designs of the Withered Animatronics and say that these were the first iterations of them and that they got redesigned when Fazbear Entertainment attempted to reopen the original Freddy Fazbear's Pizza in FNAF 1. Unfortunately... this isn't true as it has now been basically confirmed that the Classics ARE the ORIGINALS and the Withereds are still supposed to be the same set of animatronics...

Many people have just decided to roll with it and say 'Oh, it's just a retcon, it doesn't really matter.' But, uh, NO. It DOES matter. Especially to someone like me who just CAN'T IGNORE these things! So naturally it got me pondering for a good few days over how I could rationally explain why the Withereds look the way they do when the designs that came before them were the Classic designs as implied in The Week Before.

After much pondering, I think I've finally cracked it! I think I have finally come up with a reason why the Withereds look so different compared to their Classic designs that were supposedly their iterations before them. (And, looking on Redit, I can see many other people have noticed this as well)

So those UN-WITHERED animatronics up there? They NEVER existed. But that doesn't mean they weren't GOING too. Yes, the Classics were their original designs. But I think people forget a detail mentioned in FNAF 2 that easily explains away all of our problems!

In FNAF 2, Night 2 - Phone Guy (or Ralph) comments on the animatronics in the Parts & Services room. He says, "Those are from the previous location and we just use them for parts now. The idea at first was to repair them. Uh, they even started retrofitting them with some of the newer technology. But they were just so ugly, you know? And the smell... uh... So the company just decided to go in a whole new direction and make them super kid-friendly!"

This is something that I think goes overlooked, but Phone Guy implies that those animatronics from the original location were getting some work done on them before the events of FNAF 2. He says they were being fixed up and fitted with newer technology to help them rebrand. He then goes on to mention that they just looked too ugly and the smell of them wasn't great, making the company decide to invest in completely new animatronics.

THIS ONE PART IN THE CALL EXPLAINS EVERYTHING.

Basically, the Classic Animatronics were RE-DESIGNED to look like they do in FNAF 2. They were RE-BUILDING them, CHANGING them. Fazbear Entertainment was trying to change how the original animatronics looked to seperate them from the Classic looking animatronics that were present during the MCI and that were reportedly oozing bodily substances. They wanted them to look different. So they started trying to upgrade them and change their outer appearance so they could pass off as new animatronics. These new upgrades would also include advanced mobility so they could walk around better during the day which is why all the animatronic endoskeletons now have 3 toes so they can walk around better.

A design choice that now all of the Toy Animatronics inherited instead.

But, of course, this didn't really work. As Phone Guy says, the newer designs of the animatronics just didn't look as appealing as they did before. They were ugly, even off-putting. Creepy. And they couldn't use their original designs since the smell of rot and decay was still very much there. And so, as Phone Guy again says, they just decided to go in a whole new direction and completely ditch those animatronics to begin with, spending a small fortune in creating the Toy Animatronics that were updated with newer technology and could be advertised as being part of their security to make Freddy's a lot safer and kid-friendly in the eyes of the public.

And the original animatronics? They were left backstage to rot. Left uncared for and forgotten to gather dust, their only use now being the occaisional spare part. That also explains some of the withering on these Withered Animatronics such as Bonnie missing his face and arm or Chica missing her hands and her jaw hanging off her head or even why so much of Foxy's casing is missing. It's because these animatronics were abandoned before they finished retrofitting them. They are missing pieces of themselves because they were never even installed in the first place. So those fan-made UN-WITHERED versions of the Withered Animatronics are most likely what they were GOING to look like if they were actually finished.

But, of course, the Toy Animatronics failed. They had to be scrapped because they were just too broken and Fazbear Entertainment probably didn't have enough money to repair or maintain them, as Phone Guy says, "They've spent a small fortune on these new animatronics." With the grand reopening failing, they couldn't earn back the money they spent on the Toys to make them better or win back their reputation with the public. So it was better to scrap them and sell them for parts to earn back just a little money.

With nowhere else to turn to, they have to now work under a much smaller budget. So they take the animatronics they already had, the ones they already know that works, and decided to restore them back to their original designs since they already had the spare parts needed to do so.

And so, as we see in FNAF 1, the animatronics have been reverted back to their original designs and put back up on stage. This could even explain why Foxy still looks withered in FNAF 1 and why he's Out Of Order. It's because they didn't have any other parts for Foxy. We can see in the backstage in FNAF 1 that there are parts for Freddy, Bonnie and Chica. But nothing for Foxy. They restored him back to his classic design, but his classic design was already withered and broken while the others already had spare parts that they could be fitted with. Foxy, sadly, didn't and remained Out Of Order just because they had no spare parts for his classic design, back to having 2 toes instead of 3.

Poor Foxy ):

Unfortunately, the nostalgia of these classic designs wasn't enough to bring people back. People had an even worse view of the company and those animatronics were just too closely associated to the MCI. Business was not working which would lead to Fazbear's closing its doors... and leaving the animatronics locked up in there with it.

So, to summarise:

When Freddy's first opened, these Classic designs for the animatronics were their first iteration. After the MCI, there is about a year and a half gap between 1985 (presumably when the MCI happened) and 1987 in November when Freddy's reopens.

In between this time, Fazbear Entertainment attempted to redesign and refit the Classic Animatronics with a new look and new technology. However, they gave up half-way through as they were deemed to be too ugly, the new technology did not work well with their old technology, and there was too much of a negative stigma surrounding those particular animatronics. Especially since that smell didn't seem to fully disappear...

So they made the Toys instead, spending a small fortune on them, and leaving the original animatronics backstage to rot and decay, their newer designs unfinished and never to see the light of day. But then, of course, the Toys failed and Fazbear Entertainment had to scrap them in order to get back some of their money.

With no money coming into the books after their failed reopening and the Toys just taking too much to maintain and repair, the Toys are scrapped and Fazbear Entertainment uses the last of their money to restore the original animatronics back to their Classic designs. Removing all the technology they tried to implement and giving them back their old parts (except for Foxy who doesn't appear to have any spare parts, so he is stuck with his original casing that is now old and withered itself).

And that's how we find them in FNAF 1.

So! That's my proposal for why the Withereds look so different even though the Classic designs are supposed to predate them! There is little-to-no retconning involved to explain this notable design change! I'll admit, this theory ISN'T FLAWLESS. There are a few holes in it and is built off of a lot of assumptions. But I will have you know that they are mostly LOGICAL assumptions that are built off of already existing information and details!

My thoughts on Security Breach Ruin

SPOILERS BELOW

My thoughts on Eclipse:

I love Eclipse, he’s a lovely take, and I’m glad Steel Wool made him canon. That being said;

1) Why allow me to Fix Sun and Moon, establishing that Cassie is capable of doing it AND has the compassion to want to unlike Canon Gregory fix the Animatronics but then allow me to fix No one else.

2) The whole situation with Eclipse makes me sad, Sun says “ I am trapped in a forever Nap” My translation “The Plex is Dark. I can keep Moon away” . Keep the Lights on has FAILED and Sun is so desperate to stop Moon that the second he sees Cassie has a Faz-wrench he begs for a reboot. “ We need to be one” He wants to merge their AI’s.But what happens to him when that happens? You can’t separate them once they’re merge can you? I don’t think so, but I’m not a programmer.  He’s so desperate to stop Moon, so desperate to end nap-time that he’s willing to loose himself to do it. 

3) Overall I love him, a lot more than I thought I would because Eclipse ( While a fun concept) was something that I didn't think would work how I interpreted Sun and Moon, but I feel like putting him in the came was simply for Fanfare as it didn't’ seem to have any kind of Pay off. 

My thoughts on Monty

1) As far as I am concerned the Backstory given to us in Monty golf tells me Monty is INNOCENT OF BONNIE’S DECOMMISSIONING! that and Bonnie’s green room being in Bonnie Bowl implies that Bonnie retired from the band before he wondered into Monty golf. 

2) It’s kinda sad to see how animalistic he’s become compared to the others, not sad in “ This was a bad game choice” way, just sad, in general. I felt so bad for him, what happened to you Monty? What happened since Gregory to make you go absolutely feral?

3) Again why have us fix Eclipse and then basically kill Monty! At least it seems like it was accidental, but I really though we were gonna save them! 

4) I feel like we spent the most time in Monty golf. . .why? 

My thoughts on Roxanne

Roxy was my least favorite of the new animitronics, I always hated her, but Ruin was kinda a redemption arc for her to me. 

1) I love how I actually felt bad for her, and I like how it seems she’s just chasing Gregory for her eyes. She outright says it. She’s not doing it because Vanny or some computer program is telling her to, she’s got a chip on her shoulder. In fact I bet if Gregory was there she wouldn’t even kill him, probably just scare him into giving her eyes back. 

2) I think it’s interesting that ( Besides Eclipse)  she’s the only one that talks. Chica’s voice box is gone, so fine, okay, but Monty is just roaring. He’s gone completely feral, so why isn’t she? 

3) the way she apologizes when she realize’s Cassie isn’t Gregory. Then says “ Error” makes me wonder what’s going on internally there. 

4) YOU CAN’T MAKE ME FEEL GUILTY ABOUT HER IF SHE’S MY LEAST FAVORITE! HOW DID YOU DO THAT?!?!

My thoughts on Chica

1) Gross.

You're the fnaf mutual so I'm going to overthink in your inbox for two seconds. The company in game and books is aware of the terrible past, and is using old code to speed up programming things (the mimic joke here) but what if they are using more of the old technology from the old fnaf pizza places? Wouldn't giving their main attractions actual souls make them more life like and relatable to the public? You can literally talk with Freddy Fazbear, he has a personality and everything, isn't that amazing kids give us your parents money. They certainly used certain parts of the funtime designs for the glamrocks, that ice-cream cake and pinata chest cavity wasn't originally designed for that purpose. The scooper apparently still exists, if it's the original one how much soul juice does it still have/had in it?

I like the idea of greedy corrupt company going into an area and not realizing the consequences because they are too busy looking at the money. Not knowing all of the fine details about everything, not realizing how dire the consequences could get, with money-making in the way to blind them further. I don't know if they're getting this detailed with the story though, I'm just throwing stuff at a wall

I'm very tired so if possible I'll try to add on in the morning but this is pretty tricky to answer bc we got a lot from HW2 but not the main answers we were looking for.

I'm pretty confident rn that none of the animatronics are haunted, just super advanced AI (as was suppose to be the case in Sl before Pizzeria Sim happened(?)) otherwise the mimic virus wouldn't have corrupted them, Freddy not being affected may just have been bad writing or safe mode just wiped it out of him somehow idk. Also they make it quite clear almost all the souls have moved on besides a few.

The only thing we don't know about is all the Nightmarionne imagery, possibly/most likely a ghost that just refused to move on bc they knew what the company was doing and wants them to suffer. Dying on your birthday at Freddy's is one thing, but fianlly killing your murderer only for the company to profit off your death is another. And than to top it off a random endoskeleton LEARNS about William and decided to become him? What a fucking nightma(ionne)!

From how I look at it SL was the branching off point for the advanced AI. Baby was a very advanced AI and the literal ringleader of the operation, she would use Ballora and FT Foxy as lures/distractions while she killed the kids and got FT Freddy to help hide the mess. She was also keen on manipulation "faking" being Elizabeth to earn the nightguard's trust and sympathy so she can scoop out his insides and live inside of him till the body rotten so much they had to stop their collaborative roleplay server for being outdated and jump ship. With this ultimately leading to Baby being kicked out for abusing admin.

Also about the Glamrocks using the Funtime's design, I think this was done so the company could cover the fact their animatroncis were literally designed to kill kids. Like oh no no the Freddy hatch was just for cake! See??? Just a simple reuse of the design to deflect instead of actually being the same design itself. Baby's was easier to defend bc she also literally did use it to produce ice cream, I'm guessing the claw was turned into a hand in HW2 because Scott looked at that and went "okay thats a bit too obvious lemme tweak it a bit" or someone at SW suggested the changed and Scott said yes bc it makes more sense. Chica's voicebox may have also been a reuse of FT Foxy's and Ballora's lures but thats more of a stretch.

Pizzeria Sim is,,,something. Baby's characterization basically goes out the window and she fully claims to be Elizabeth. Now a lot of people just accepted Baby really is Elizbaeth (which is the canon answer but idc). While in SL that was ambiguous (bc she was a manipulative genius!) All that gets pushed aside in Pizzeria Sim. What I like to think is that after being kicked out of Ennard and being apart of it for so long she just kinda lost herself, who was she? She wasn't Baby anymore she lost herself, her look, the hold she had on those around, she was like a lost child in that moment...maybe she was a lost child? Maybe she really was Elizabeth this whole time? And in that moment of weakness she fully convinced herself that she WAS Elizabeth, she was William's daughter, his creation.

An AI that convinces itself they are someone they aren't (sound familiar?)

In HW2 I just want to note, as other have, how Baby feels different. Shes her old self back from good old SL. Now you might say well yes of course she is, she doesnt get like that till Pizzeria Sim. But it should also be noted on how emphasize was placed on her and her alone, not the other Funtimes, and not certainly not Scrapbaby. They wanted to emphasize SL's Baby, the "advanced AI". What I'm hoping this is that its a roll back on the character, not necessarily a retcon but trying to fix her character a bit with how it was fucked in Pizzeria Sim.

So basically SL was the introduction of the advanced AI era, Pizzeria Sim got rid of most of the spirits (and helped trapped William in hell in UCN) and made the companies ads literally help fuck you over on nights which is pretty on the nose looking back, and SB was our formal introduction to the new era of Fazbear Ent and its consequences with HW2 tying them all into one game/one era (HW going up to SL and HW2 having SL and after in it)

Or maybe I just pulled most of that out of my ass bc when it boils down Baby ACTUALLY being Elizabeth and being such a "daddy's girl" instead of the manipulative genius she was in SL literally ruined her character in general idk (like yeah shes a traumatized child but the way it just happens still kinda sucks) . And also again I'm tired as hell!

fnaf movie teaser trailer is out so here are my initial thoughts i wrote when it first came out + my expanded thoughts now that i am not half asleep and running on adrenaline. (this note was also titled “FNAF TRAILER FUCK YEAH” in my notes, so that is the vibe im going for here)

expanded thoughts:

- LOVE the 80s vibe in the vhs, especially the uniform/outfit the employee is wearing. she has so many pins. i definitely feel like this movie is going to capture the feel of the games super well, even if the story doesn’t quite match up.

- plus, all the game references! the Foxy plushie, the showtime button, the toreador march (and all the things you can see when Mike walks into the abandoned pizzeria — the prize corner, posters, and ESPECIALLY the security office) is so cool to see. again, i definitely think i will love the vibe of this movie, and i hope they nail the creepy atmosphere that made the original game so classic. i do think that i will have a heart attack and die as soon as i see one of the animatronics move tho.

- on that note — man, they look so good! ofc they do since it was Jim Henson’s Creature Shop that made them all, but holy shit they look so so great. i can’t remember if they ever said if costumes would be used, but i do remember that they casted voice actors! i do still hope some of the og voice actors get a cameo or smth, maybe just as guests of the pizzeria or on a television ad.

- i still stand by my “i hope the animatroincs sing a song in the movie a la Willy’s Wonderland style”. it’s definitely going on my bingo sheet and it’s one of those things i’ve always wanted to see. also, i did identify the song playing in the beginning (“i hear the secrets that you keep …”) and it is “Talking In Your Sleep” by The Romantics. it came out in 1983 though which is kinda funny. but also, 80s soundtrack confirmed?

- again, i do have the feeling that this is the “official” training tape for security guards, and Phone Guy (or whoever the equivalent of him is, maybe the guard that gets murked at the end) will still be there on recordings. even if it’s not Scott (which i don’t particularly care if it is or not), i still hope they include at least a nod or reference to him, even if this vhs lady is taking over the brunt of exposition and whatnot.

- SO ONTO THE SAW TORTURE DEVICE. my first thought was that it was maybe a springlock suit, but since people have pointed out the original Phone Guy line of “stuffing people into suits was deadly bc they were full of metal and wires and sharp things especially around the face area”, i think this is just a regular suit that’s been weaponized or twisted in some way. on that note, i am split half and half between “Mike actually gets captured and stuffed inside” and “Mike is just having a nightmare about the animatronics”. to be fair to Mike, i think everybody has nightmares about their minimum wage jobs.

- okay, so unpopular opinion, but i actually don’t mind the red eyes upon further reflection! they look kinda goofy, but i think it fits the vibe of the movie overall, and also i am always down for the “eye colour indicates mental state” trope. so, i’m digging it.

- THE MISSING KIDS!! sorry, i’m so excited over them lol. looking closer at them, i do think it’s going Bonnie (blue/purple shirt with bunny ears) — Freddy (brown striped shirt) — Foxy (red shirt and one hand all wrapped up) — Golden Freddy (top hat) — Chica (yellow and white dress). i have a feeling that this movie will probably just stick with the core five for now, bc i think trying to introduce the Puppet into this will make it way more complicated than it needs to be. but i also think it’s interesting that they’re in a forest? Mike is obviously having a dream or vision of some kind, but why manifest in a forest and not like the pizzeria itself? interesting, interesting.

- and now we have William! as others have stated, i am very glad with the direction they took him in. i always dislike the designs that make William look super old/greasy/creepy, and on the flipside, that ones that make him look super charming and suave. this guy managed to lure and kill multiple kids and get away with it for decades, so i think he needs to have a very friendly, warm, almost grandpa-like vibe to him (with just a hint of “oh he’s a lil fucked up actually”). make him too obviously creepy and there was no way he would be getting away scot-free (ha) for so long, but make him too charming and he comes across as a shady business man which kids would not be willing to follow in a back room. so, perfect vibe. i will go into a bit more detail below about where he is/what he’s doing, but i think the office choice is very interesting.

- this shot of the security guard getting killed is definitely going to be a cold opening tho. i can feel it in my bones. it’s going to open with this shot (or close to open) before cutting to Mike. i know what it’s going to do i am calling it right now,

- i have also come to realize that is Foxy’s foot stomping the ball and not a random endo nobody look at me

- i made an into the pit joke but i do think it would be very very cool if they included a nod to the fans like playing a bit of the melody of a popular fansong on a radio/tv or something like that. not something that i an explicitly hoping for, but would be super neat to include.

- i am making all my friends come see this movie with me they cannot argue with me bc it is the day before my birthday and they cannot argue with the birthday boy

predictions:

so, i think there are two ways this movie can go;

1) Mike is not William’s son

this is where i think this movie is going, just based off this trailer alone. i think William is the current Fazbear Ent./pizzeria owner who hires Mike (explaining why he is in an office), and Mike has no idea what he is getting into other than that he is a security guard. based off that one leaked clip of Mike beating up a guy in a mall, i think he got fired from his previous job, and is taking this one as a last resource to support his sister. while working there, he begins to experience visions of the missing kids and works to uncover the secrets of the place. i also think that he gets captured by the animatroincs (or William) at some point, and his sister Abby arrives to come save him, explaining why there’s the shot of him in the saw torture trap, he comes into the pizzeria alone, and all shots of Abby so far she is alone and the animatronics are already aggressive.

flaws in this idea though? idk how Vanessa (and the currently unnamed female villain) fit into this. but otherwise i think it’s pretty solid. the second way i think this movie will go is …

2) Mike IS William’s son

i think this one is least likely, but knowing that Scott wrote this movie and that the original decided script was about Michael Afton, i do think it’s a possibility. basically, much like in the games, Mike is William’s son who vaguely knows of his dad’s shitty deeds, and is trying to escape his past until he has the opportunity to work as a security guard at an old restaurant. the saw trap scene and the missing kid visions are nightmares sparked by his past, possibly things he saw/knew about while living with his dad. in that case, William is currently missing (and the scene in his office is a flashback) and the “unnamed female villain” is the current Fazbear ceo/worker who hires Mike on.

flaws in this idea? Abby — unless she is also William’s daughter and is a stand-in for Elizabeth, i do not know how this could work. if Mike adopted her as his sister, i feel like they do not have time for that plotline. and, once again, i have no clue how Vanessa factors into all this.

(my best guess for Vanessa is that in both plots she knows of William’s crimes and is trying stop him/free the ghosts, but in the first plot she works with Mike since he is new and clueless and in the second one against him bc she believes he is still working with his father. but i’m not sold on either of those yet).

so, my best guess overall is number 1, but honestly i would be happy with either. i am just so excited for this movie and can’t help but write about it, as i usually do. whatever ends up happening better be fun, though. i do not want to be bored during this lmao.

Lemme give you more than one

A lot of the male characters the fandom obsesses over really aren't shit when you think about it. When you look into them, you realize that most of it is just fandom interpretation, and the characters on their own aren't worth the hype. And I'm not just talking about being underdeveloped. Even just poorly written in general. This is why I am largely uninterested in the Afton family with the exception of Elizabeth.

If Security Breach didn't bring us characters like Gregory, Vanessa and Cassie, I probably would've stayed invested purely in the animatronics.

And while we're on the subject of character writing, a lot female characters in fnaf get done dirty not only in canon but the fandom as well. The most infamous example and one I'm sure everyone agrees with is how Circus Baby was handled after Sister Location and in the books. I'm not completely opposed to the idea of her being manipulated by William.

But they dropped her original characterization entirely just to make her daddy's little girl. That being said, this also could've worked if we got to see how William controlled her become she's just... unwaveringly loyal and we don't get why. The most we could go off on is that William probably knowingly had his daughter endure controlled shocks. I'm so fucking glad Help Wanted 2 dropped and we got OG Circus Baby's characterization back.

But it's also weird that the writers of the fnaf novels thought it was a good idea to make Circus Baby of all characters an attempt at a femme fatale. The character possessed by a freaking kid.

Which is why I'm glad that at least with the games, Steel Wool has been doing better with how the female characters are handled.

That leaves the fandom as a problem the girlies can't be bad or nuanced. Because Elizabeth, who is also a victim much like her brothers, tends to get overlooked at best if nor outright villainized. Like, this girl being a brat makes her irredeemable somehow.

Which is so weird when a popular headcanon is that Michael is the Foxy bully and loved to pick on the Crying Child. But he gets treated with much more grace despite this.

William motherfucking Afton gets treated which more grace despite clearly being an irredeemable villain.

And let's not forget how people were trying to antagonize Vanessa for throwing away Mike's pills. Sure, she could've handled it better but she still helped him out. Hell, she's one of the reasons why Mike was able to get his shit together and become a better guardian for Abby. Despite all her flaws, if she wasn't there, Mike would've lost custody Abby.

There's probably more but those are the only ones I can think of.

Can we talk about how the Clickteam/Scott era of fnaf is overhyped?

Because since he retired, people have gotten rose tinted glasses about that point in fnaf history and have forgotten that a lot of the problems we have with fnaf's writing is his fault.

But because Steel Wool committed the crime of making one bad game, people blame them for fnaf's bad writing. Which isn't true because while Security Breach wasn't good, what we got in writing and what could've been is way better than what Scott would've given us.

My last hot take is that I'm noticing some elitism in the horror side of the fandom. Like, they seem to think that they're true fnaf fans because they're in it for the spooks and think that kids are ruining the franchise when... youngins have always been there. Hell, I have no doubt in my mind they were fnaf kids themselves.

Not even just kids in the fnaf fandom but anyone who dares indulge in fnaf any way they deem unacceptable like making goofy videos or even shipping characters, for example, are somehow ruining the franchise.

It's weird until you realize that a lot of them are toxic anyways, so of course they see harmless fun as a bad thing while actual dogshit behavior like grooming, bullying and the likes get overlooked.

I have to mentally prepare myself for them because I want to make a fnaf shipping series and while it's most likely that it'll just be isolated to just other shippers, you never know. Especially since I've seen two YouTubers make negative videos about fnaf pairings, there is a chance I will have to deal with one of them.

They also have rose tinted glasses about fnaf because they refuse to acknowledge that the franchise was already kinda goofy from the start and not horror 24/7.

Hey I love ur youtube vids on fnaf, it has been my special interest since i was seven and i obsessivly think about it constantly. I have an idea that i think is worth considering. I checked the sprite animation for the bite of 87 and realised that foxy mask and bonnie mask are up front. You'd assume that freddy mask is the leader of the tormentors, but hes in the back. As well as that (ruin spoiler coming) in bonnies room theres writing on the wall where freddy (who is presumed to be micheal) says bonnie and him will stay together forever or something positive like that. perhaps michaels soul going from a foxy themed creature (indicating a sneaky personality like the boy in candy cadets story where he turns a blind eye) to becoming a responsible leader or associating himself with henry more than william. My theory is that the original characters like glamrock bonnie and gl freddy has the souls of the tormentors in them, or the soul of a teenager or adult. I think its because the animatronics themselves are slightly more mature but still immature at the same time. Like they can talk and all unlike the previuos child soul animatronics, but still display a teenager personality. Like roxy being vain but also hates her appearance on bad days, and monty just beating stuff up after a bad performance which we see at the beginning of security breach. Also the drama going on between them reminds me of highschool drama, like monty liiterally knocking bonnie out to get into the band. thats it basically, sorry for mistakes, my brain doesnt keep up with me lol

rant about fnaf dream theory

Dream theory is bad.

Not in terms of today, because of course its wrong today. I mean back in 2015 when the fnaf world thing came out and everyone lost there fucking minds (not in a good way).

And yeah, I get it. Just hearing about dream theory makes me angry. But this was considered ACTUAL canon by the maker of fnaf himself for some reason despite the fact it made (and makes) no sense.

First point; the flatline.

As you probably know, when you beat night 6 in fnaf 4 you get this sad cutscene of the crying child dying. His brother apologises to him and Fredbear tells him he’ll put him back together yeah yeah yeah, but then, guess what?

The child dies. Surprise. A flatline is heard.

What am I getting at with this, you ask (maybe). Well, phone guy talks about the ‘bite of ‘87’. If we are going off dream theory, this is a reference to his incident (which was retconned BY SCOTT in the game files but whatever). But that doesn’t make sense if he died, because then he wouldn’t be alive to dream about this. SPEAKING OF WHIC-

Point 2; phone guy

Why is he here? How does the child know about him? How does he know exactly what his voice sounds like? And don’t say “The toy phone in his dreams!” because there is no phone in his room in the minigames, which I thought were supposed to be the waking world (CHICA-). It would make more sense for it to be mike in the actual gameplay of fnaf 4 but thats not what we are talking about shhhh

Point 3; frontal lobe

There are many problems with this. On one hand, the hand that thinks that CC died after his little incident, this is really dumb cause how does this 8-10 year old child know about frontal lobes without the internet. And on the other hand, the CC is fine actually after having his skull crushed actually (scott I presume), then I get the whole knowing about it (because the doctors probably talked about it) but what about the line of “You’re broken” and “I will put you back together” sorry fredbear the doctors already did that. And also, if by the time scott decided “yes these minigames take place in 1983” then why did the phone guy say “Its amazing the human body can live without the frontal lobe” in relation to ‘87??? like???? It probably wouldn’t be as amazing if it has already happened before

Forth Point; don’t you fuccking dare say “its a dream!”

I highly doubt that this theory has any defenders nowadays, but if their are any I will strawman the fuck out of them. If it is just a dream, and all of my previous points don’t matter, then why is it that the main reason behind this theory was the chica doll loosing her beak (WE WILL GET BACK TO HER LATER)? Why put so much stake into that when there is quite a bit of evidence supporting otherwise, trying to find ways that it fits? In that case too, why isn’t there a foxy variant with no head? Why does the bonnie plush in CC’s room have a face? Is it because its fnaf 1 bonnie? That just brings me back to the foxy thing. If CC is so scared of fredbear, why doesn’t he appear in more of his nightmares other than just fnaf 4? Why is his hat and bowtie swapped from purple to black? To all 3 of dream theorys defenders, I would like to hear from you in 3-5 business days, no more.

5th point; MCI

There is no reason to dream about murdered kids or possessed animatronics. I have scary dreams, but thats because of the internet and this story (and theory) takes place in 1983. Lets go through a couple of ways dream theory tries to justify itself.

The MCI takes place in 1982/1983!

The way this works is either one, It was reported on or two, the crying child somehow knows about it and is the only one who does. The first one doesn’t make sense because if it was a similar situation with the whole stinking up the place stuff, they were found out pretty soon after being stuffed (because… yeah.), so I don’t know why it would be different if not WORSE for the killer in the real world. The second point is also bad, because it is shown that he has no friends. You could say that its because they are dead, but if thats true why is everyone so mean to him? Why aren’t they talking about his friends and/or NOT making fun of him because he’s crying for a reasonable reason? I would be crying too if all my friends died (if I had any offline ones). 

The MCI come from the plushies (+him)

I could see this with foxy’s head being ripped off, but it doesn’t appear that the rest of them are damaged beyond general plushie use. And if this is true, then why isn’t the killer depicted as the brother (foxy)? Because he is the most likely to do this to CC. Why is the killer in his dream related to bonnie and not freddy if thats the angle we’re going, because even if he is also scared of spring bonnie, we only see him being scared by fredbear. Why does he associate spring bonnie with child murder? I get associating him with springlocks because thats probably why he’s so scared of fredbears in the first place, but then why are the MCI children? Why are they hostile to employees? just-

The MCI are the bullies

This is so fucking dumb. WHY would he depict his tormentors as victims? If this is a ‘getting back at the bullies in your mind’ why is he imagining them crying and grey? Don’t fucking come at me with the chara ‘evil child’ shit, it doesn’t work there and it doesn’t work here.

666; TOY CHICA

This mf will haunt my dreams for the rest of my days because of this theory. This theory has made toy chica 10 times scarier because its so dumb it terrifies me that people ended up (albeit reluctantly) agreeing that it was canon. Toy chica losing her beak and the other toy toys are dumb. You know what it probably was? An easter egg.

But in the lore, heres how I see it. The toys were originally made by another company and sold as bootlegs. They were poorly made and bad but were popular enough for freddys to buy the animatronics out. There. Another reason they are there you all can latch onto that doesn’t cheapen the entire story and makes sense. Her and her fucking beak are not a reason to look back on the entire story fnaf had told so far and say “seems fishy”. Green spring bonnie is not a reason to springtrap. Why would he be scared of the doll and associate it with the (most likely) reason why he’s sad all the time? Actually I know why because of her fucking remark. BUT ACTUALLY if that does have a sway over how he preserves these things, why does he dream about them only attacking employees and not children at all? Pigtails girl said, to a 8-10 year old, that the animatronics come out at night to kill you, so why are they only lashing out at adults in fnaf 2? Is it only at night? if , in the ‘CC lives actually’ thing, why would he see fredbear biting him result in him coming to the conclusion that they only attack employees? The way this COULD work is by the him witnessing a springlock failure, but that doesn’t mean he magically knows about an event similar to his death, phone guy, the MCI or other really important plot points

The heroes rode the DJ calmly while the sun was almost away from the mountains.

Freddy: That's how we decided to move to Highland Isle. We decided to keep a secret when we had lunch with the BWW characters.

Alina: We understand. We all keep secrets about our past to forget about the incident.

Balan: I would have hidden my past myself when I was thrown tomatoes during my very first performance.

Lance: And I would like to talk about my dark uniform.

Carlin: So are the rest of us. But fortunately we saved everything, (to Glam-rock) even though you don't have your own pizzeria now.

Glam-rock Freddy: What are you? Anyway, we have a new Highland Isle house now. Thank you all.

Alina: Actually, I have to thank the Puppet for sending William's soul to hell.

They all looked at the Puppet who was sitting at the end. The doll looked at them and stood up.

Puppet:(Nod) You're welcome.

Later, Gregory approached him while he was looking at his.

Gregory: Is it true that I have his son's soul now?

Puppet: Yes, I decided to save your life from William when I was going to kill you. She used to belong to Fredbear when he was dead. As for his brother, he's in the Glam-rock Freddy animatronics. Her sister is in Baby and her mother is in Ballora.

He hugged the Puppet tightly like the others. The puppet was surprised, but was also glad about their kind hearts. Later they let me go.

Freddy: Fredbear would be proud of you. So would the rest of my friends if it wasn't broken.

Puppet: Well... I have to go (Everyone was surprised).

Bonnie: Why?

Chica: You could have stayed with us.

Foxy: You have no place to exist.

Puppet: I'm just a magic doll that brings someone to life. Your task is to continue your life. (To DJ) Please stop.

The DJ stopped near the forest where the Puppet descended. Later, ono waved to his friends, which they did to him, and then he left. The heroes continued on their way to Highland Isle and just found it. Everyone watched as Vanessa approached Gregory and Cassie.

Vanessa: I am very sorry for your parents who are no longer there. But I'll make you happy. You are for changing now the relatives who saved me from William.

In response, the children hugged him. The characters from wonderworld approached Freddy.

Balan: Well, my friend, how was your condition when you returned to our Highland Isle?

Freddy: It's all good.

Helpy: Freddy, (Freddy looked at him) here the parents want to arrange the boy's birthday for us. Namely, in Highland Isle.

Freddy: Well, since we have returned from danger, we can all prepare together in honor of victory.

All: Hooray!

In the evening.

After the preparation, all the heroes threw a party for the boy's birthday. They also invited monsters and Mr. Gutteria to have fun with them. Gatteria played dominoes with elderly people, including our elderly heroes.

Mr. Gatteria: And after you went looking for the others, did you break down the walls again?

Bruce: Yeah. (The old people are laughing)

Fire monsters were bowling in competition with kikoriki. When it was Barrd's turn, she won.

Barrd:(Happy) It worked!

Kayna: Well done sister.

Krash: Not bad.

Gregory, Cassie, Leo and Emma were playing table hockey while Gregory and Cassie were being watched by Vanessa, who is already their foster mother. The girls watched it all with a smile until the FNAF 1 animatronics came up, which had already been repaired.

Freddy: I want to say a huge thank you. (To Alina) And I'm sorry again for yelling at you.

Alina: It's okay, Freddy.

Later, the same rock music was heard and Glam-rock animatronics appeared on the stage. Everyone looked at it with a smile and even danced.

Daisy: But this is better than what was happening.

Lula: Yes.

Later, the words of the heroes' motto appear on the stage.

Alina: That's our motto.

Glam-rock Freddy:(Speaks through a microphone) Come on, everyone...

All: Together, stronger, hurray!

Meanwhile, with Puppet.

Puppet was in his box and watched the heroes through the big shard. Later, he decided to turn away and look at the top.

Puppet: They're safe now. We are meeting again, friends...

steven is super interesting to me from just kind of a character standpoint, hes very stand-offish and rude to you if you try to stand against him, finally choosing to pin you for the murders. he also helped with hiding peter's body, and turning him into a phone. his arc is basically a semi-redemption arc, after he tries to convince jack and co that he is "irredeemable". i just think it's interesting how he's one of the only phone men we meet who are outwardly snarky :-) (also fun fact he had a boyfriend)

i feel like i have to talk about harry after steven, considering he was his superior /silly. harry isn't as interesting, he's actually super generic by phone man standards!! all we really know is that he was in a war (i think it was vietnam? i could be wrong), and that his family once came to his job post-factory and tried to get him to remember them, only for him to be confused and not have any clue who they were. his friend 'scottie' (fun fact about her shes the only female phone guy) says that he's been working at fazbenders for a very long time, something that he backs up himself, but that he doesn't really remember a lot from before it all. he doesn't talk about his past a lot, and it's unknown if this is because he just doesn't remember or if he just doesn't like talking about it. we don't know a lot about his past, beside the fact he worked with abel (a cruel phone, one of the first ones made) who presumably gave him some kind of issue, since he seems to be very anxious and nervous all the time. he doesn't try to stand up for himself a lot, but neither do most phone guys. he's just a little guy and i love him

JAKE.. JAKE MY BOY MY MAN JAKE. JAKE !!!!! jake is SO fucking interesting to me. he remembers a LOT about his past life, and you can see him talk about it in detail during an old company log he wrote. after you read this, he walks in and starts telling you about how he walked ACROSS THE COUNTRY to find his son, whom he'd been forced to leave behind. he tried his best to work up courage to speak to him, but instead settled for standing outside the window and watching his son and his son's family celebrate christmas, before finally leaving because he felt he didn't 'deserve' to be in his sons life. all we really know about jake is he has extremely bad self esteem, calling himself a 'monster', and saying he doesn't really 'deserve' to speak to his son after all he'd 'done to him' (presumably leave him without parents, since jake was a widower). he's also really dorky. just kind of a real stand-up fellow. there's a couple times he almost flirts ?? with jack ?? kind-of? it's very silly and i think he's really neat. oscar calls him a 'tsundere' because he's outwardly kind of a dickhead but he really is just. a sweetheart. just a total lover. i love him dearly and he is by far one of my favourites

stanley. thats all. stanley exists, his existence is suffering, and he's the only phone guy you meet IMMEDIATELY after he leaves the factory. he was actually your employee, who was springlocked and who you and your phone guy sent to afton robotics' factory. when you meet him, all he can do is stutter out "hello?"-s and ask where he is, and tell you it all hurts, and that he feels 'shoddy'. he's a very good reference to how phone men actually ARE before they adapt. he keeps asking you what his name is (scott cawthon), and where he came from (disney world, apparently!), and is confused when he blurts out his favourite animatronic is foxy (it apparently isn't, and he's horrified about him blurting it out). he's really neat and i like him :-)

roger. i don't know shit about roger. sorry. he's just a guy to me. haven't really gotten the chance to use him, shockingly. he's a fella. that's all i got to say about him tbh. he's got a fan wikia. haven't read it tho. don't plan to. you sure can tho. have fun with that

PETER!!!! a guy the guy ever my little guy blorbo from my game my skrunkly scrimblo.. hes so sweet i love him. he tries his best to do his job, and steer you in the right path. he's very kind, and funnily meek about you standing up to him. he's outwardly suicidal and insanely depressed, going as far as to have a photo of STEVEN'S fake family and tell you it's HIS family. when you tell him that's stevens he just sadly goes "Please employee, just let me have this. This is all I have left." (not the exact quote but it's close enough), and jack backs off pretty quick after that. he actually doesn't remember much, at least not his family. he does remember his wife, caroline, though! during a fight scene he asks you to kill him, to 'put him out of his misery', because he 'just wants to see caroline again'. he's kind, but the very few times he gets mad he gets FUCKING MAD. the VERY few times you upset him, he makes a dial-up-esque noise and yells at you, so he's obviously not someone to shy away from violence. he's just a peacekeeper, going as far as to almost break down in sobs about you killing children because HE knew their names and 'it's all he's been hearing for the past week'. he BEGS you to just tell him where the bodies are, just to put their families minds at ease, for a last act of redemption. if you refuse, he becomes furious and screams at you about how terrible you are, how you're a 'monster', a 'subhuman thing'. also in the 'the end' run he tells dave you're just 'using him', and calls you 'a monster' and refuses to even call you A MAN because it 'implies your human'. i think he's neat :-)
