Barnaby should have known that something was up when the old man told him to dress up but he was too distracted by the butterflies in his stomach and the heat in his cheeks to think clearly. And by the time Friday rolled around, he had already arrived 20 minutes early dressed in his nines when reality finally began to sober him up. 

He can’t believe he wasted the suit that (as Fire Embelm put it) “made his ass extra phat” on this place. 

He stands there a little too long slack-jawed that Kotetsu actually finds him outside the restaurant. 

“Hey Bunny-chan!” he says in a way that makes Baranby’s heart flutter but also gives him the urge to wrap his hands around that thick sturdy neck, “glad you could make it!”

And there he is. Dressed in his normal clothes.

“I thought you said to dress fancy?” 

“Uh yeah, see?” He does a little twirl and tips his cap forward. “I got my shirt ironed.”

“Old man-” but before he could finish he is ushered inside and they are seated in ‘the best seat in the house’ because oh god Kotestsu actually made a reservation. 

This establishment  is a place Baranby never thought he would in a million years find himself in. But since meeting Wild Tiger, these event have been happening more and more often. 

Looking around the Texas-style decor, the waiters in cowboy outfits and just so much bovine memorabilia…

“This is Tyson Bison Steakhouse and Winery.”

“Yeah super fancy right?!” 

“It’s a franchise.”

“A fancy franchise!”

“There is a cardboard cut out of Tyson Bison behind you.”

“ It’s like having our friends here but not!”

Obviously nothing could ruin the good mood for Kotetsu T Karuragi. Who has seduced not one, but two people in his life with his buffoonary. 

“Whatever.” 

“That’s the spirit! And don’t worry,” he takes the coupons out of his vest and fans himself with them like a rich old lady, “Dinner’s on me!”

Ok. The food wasn’t horrible. 

And the company wasn’t either. 

Maybe he was even enjoying himself? Maybe Kotetsu-san really did have good ideas sometimes. They needed some time to let loose. What was a better place no one would bother them than the franchise chain one of their friends/coworkers sponsors?

And then the check came. 

Kotetsu, in total confidence, hands the cowboy-waiter his coupons with a smile and a wink. The cowboy-waiter is not impressed. 

“Sir, these coupons are good for a free appetizer. I still need your payment information.” 

Wild Tiger laughs nervously. 

Barnaby starts to feel his blood pressure rise. 

“But you see my buddy, the DIRECTOR OF JUSTICE, gave these to me. For a meal here!”

“Yes and the coupons are good for an appetizer.” 

“I don’t see that written here.”

“Please look at the fine print sir.” 

Oh course the old man’s downfall was him being …well old. 

Barnaby decides to throw him a bone especially since the dinner wasn’t that bad. He pulls out his credit card only to be stopped by Tiger grabbing his wrist. 

“I can’t let you do that Bunny. I’m treatin’ ya today.” 

He scoffs. “You didn’t bring enough money old man, I’ll pay.” 

“No I am.” 

“an d how are you going to do that?” 

Kotetsu points to the cardboard cut out behind him. “That’s how.”

“You can’t be serious” 

“You can’t be serious sir”

“I’m very serious Bunny. The sign says if I can finish a 35 ib steak in 20 mins the meal is free.” Kotetsu turns to the waiter, “So bring me my steak!”

“Sir please.”

“Kotetsu san please, this is ridiculous.”

But Kotetsu already is re seated, tying a bib around his neck, fork and knife ready. 

“Bring me my steak!” 

With much horror, Sternbuild’s number one hero watches as the wait staff bring out a massive steak to his waiting partner and a large comically hourglass. 

The original cowboy-waiter looks like he wants to be anywhere but here. But regardless he does his job, “Begin!” 

And Kotetsu shoves the steak into his mouth.

Which lasts about 20 seconds.

Barnaby watches in horror as his work partner and life buddy makes the universal sign for choking and falls to the restaurant floor. 

Diners begin screaming and the wait staff begin scrambling to call the ambulance. 

Barnaby himself falls to the floor next to Tiger’s side as the love of his life gasps and spits out steak chunks. 

Once the coughing subsides, Barnaby can make out a raspy (but sexy) words, “I’m sorry Bunny-chan… I just wanted… to show you a good time…”

“Old man, you’re so stupid…” He would of had fun regardless of where they were. 

Still coughing but able to sit up, “Next time… you choose the place!” 

Barnaby couldn’t help but chuckle. 

“We will waive your bill if you leave now.” Both of the heroes turn to see the original cowboy-waiter behind them, “and if you two never come back we won’t press charges.”

" Bayia! U can't catch me!!!" A little girl giggles as she is chased by her brother.

" Come back here! Not so fast!" A young boy chases her as they happily play near the kingdom walls. Their laughter brings smiles to the guards nearby.

Unknown to them, a killer was on the loose and was trying to escape the kingdom. The kids stop playing as they heard noises. They looked and see a Raksha, half man half demon running towards them. The boy immediately turned into a huge snake and attacked the Raksha to stop him from harming his sister.

They fought but the raksha slashed his face creating a huge Scar. The boy was tossed aside as he turns back normal.

The raksha was about the deliver the final kill at the boy but then the girl came between them and took the blow killing her.

" AISHWARYA!!!!" The boy cried out seeing his little sister fall.

" At least I killed the flower of this pathetic kingdom." The raksha said before he was attacked by the guards who arrived at the scene.

" Aishwarya! Wake up! Wake up chotie! Pls! Aishwarya!" He said holding her in his arms.

The other roomates are fast asleep.

They knew they will not get an answer from him now so they went back to sleep. Arjun held back his tears before falling asleep to a warm feeling.

Unknown to him, a small gentle hand was stroking his cheek making him sleep.

When Arjun became a wizard he also got Aishwarya's letter to attend Hogwarts. He felt sad and wrote to the school telling him what happened and asking if he can attend the school. His parents agreed for he may find his cousin...the last family he has.

When being sorted, he had already let his snake out after she died thus the hat Sensing his snake magic and sorting him to Slytherin making him the first muggleborn slytherin. The other Slytherin builled him but immediately stop when he fought back. Let's just say it was extremely bloody that even merula was a little scared.

Felix had to stop him from killing a student,in year 3, who attacked him and tried to burn an of his picture of Little Aishwarya.

His girlfriend Ella along with Allison @slytherincursebreaker who followed helped heal Arjun. Felix asked /yelled at him did he almost killed a student and bill calmed Felix down. Only then, Arjun break down and yelled telling him about his sister and who he was.

They were shocked to hear about his story and understood his trigger. Let's just say he started to have talks with Bill to calm himself.

He became know as cobra for his glare is like a powerful snake and all slytherin don't dare to harm him.

He went through with the cursed vaults to find Keith and yet get companions with other houses. But, only bill,Felix , Allison and Ella knows that he doesn't want friends so he will not feel pain again. Despite that, rowan wanted to stay as his friend. He was very adamant that Arjun gave up stopping him from being friends.

Arjun walk to the great Hall and sits at the table to eat his breakfast exhaust from the lack of sleep.

" yo cobra what's up u got bags under ur eyes...." Samantha @samshogwarts said along with her was finn @theguythatdraws , Irwin and Eliaza @annabelle-tanaka-official and Paula and Candy @immagrosscandy .

" Yeah ur awful..." penny said

" I get my coffee then I will be fine...." he said as a coffee mug hover to him. " Thanks.." he said taking it.

Arjun coughed and looked his pals before looking at the mug. " OK stop messing with me..." he said.

Soon later that day, he was looking up clues for the fourth vault. " Hey arjun..." Sahar @dat-silvers-girl came to him carrying some books.

" Hey saharOOFF!" Sahari had tripped by a unknown force and she fell into his arm. Where she was standing before a heavy book fell.

" Well u got lucky...." arjun said seeing the book

Later during a practice duel with his companions he was dueling with Eugene @witchy-push then suddenly she was pushed making her spell miss arjun.

" hey! Who pushed me!" She yelled

" No one pushed u...." digeo said confused

" but I felt someone..." She signed and huffed. The whole group there looked confused .

" Whatever...its getting late....I am heading for bed....goodnight..." he said

" Wait aren't u coming for dinner arjun? " Camila @camilamortem said and Joshua @yoselin-uyu standing next to her.

" I am fine....see u later guys.." he said leaving the group.

Finn sense something is wrong and decide to follow arjun.

Arjun walks down the corridor alone then suddenly he got hit by a disarming spell. He turns to see the red hood wizard.

" U..." arjun eyes glowed in anger.

" I warned u and ur friends not to mess with the vaults....now u pay" He attacked arjun who deflected it with his nagic magic. Soon as arjun fell to the ground the red wizard was hit from behind , finn had his wand out and rushed and helped arjun up.

" Thanks dragon ..." arjun said

" No problem cobra...let's take care of this messenger of R.." he said as they were distracted. The messenger cast a curtacius spell at them but it was deflected by a bright light to protect and blind the boys. Then the light attacked the messenger making them hit the wall before running away

The light dims allowing the boys to see their savoiur. Finn was surprised seeing a young girl with white wings standing in front of them. She has a warm glow to her as she smiled to them.

" a kid? With wings?" Finn question then seeing arjun walks to her slowly before getting on his knees.

Arjun slowly moved his hand to the child cheek and stroke it, making her giggle. " Hi baiya... It looks like I did it, and you can see me..." She said, giggling. He starts to cry and hugs her tight.

" I am so sorry..." he said holding her close

" it's alright....I am here now...." She said hugging him as he lifts her as he stands. " arjun do u know this kid?" Finn asked

" Yes....this is my little sister....I will tell u everything later.." he said

" arjun u and mister dragon should go eat dinner....u always miss ur dinner alot...not healthy. " She pouts

" I am not hungry..." he said

" pls!!!" She makes puppy eyes while flutter her wings like a baby bird.

" *sigh* fine....can u eat with me..." he said

" Yes even though angels doesn't need food...it just makes us connected to our life..." She said

Later, everyone stared at him with an angel kid on his lap.

Bill spits his drink. " THE SISTER!?!?!" He said before fainting.

the future of clara x.h. lin?

I’ve seen a ton of posts regarding our Hogwarts Mystery MC’s future--a challenge started by @carewyncromwell which a lot of blogs I followed have been taking on. So I’m going to do my take on it as well. (I do have an illustration planned, but I’ll probably post it separately as I haven’t started drawing yet and I don’t want the trend to completely die off before I come by with my contribution.)

But here’s the full rundown (may subject to change)! More under the cut...

Year 7 and the end of the Hogwarts journey was a really overwhelming one for Clara. After everything that’s happened to her, she needed nothing more than a serious break away from everything--to find peace and make amends with everything that happened in her history. She eventually moved out of her house and got a quiet place with Barnaby--a little cottage in the country that’s still close to civilian life--and worked to overcome her traumatic and stressful experiences. Barnaby was there for her every step of the way.

During this time, she was accepted into the Auror office with Tonks and Talbott, and the three of them worked alongside many accomplished wizards to ensure justice in the wizarding world. In her spare time away from the Ministry, she an Barnaby opened up a magical creatures care centre--they set some space to establish that--they took care of a variety of creatures that came around, like Bowtruckles, Nifflers, Billywigs, you name it. Whenever Clara was away for extended periods of time, Liz was there to help Barnaby run it.

Clara’s family often visited them, especially during the summer as little Em was finished with schooling by then. It was there that Barnaby and Clara’s mother’s correspondence was eventually revealed to the rest of the family, and soon Clara’s father started to take Barnaby in as a potential son-in-law. He taught Barnaby how to properly raise a garden, which Barnaby accepted gratefully. 

Of course, Clara never stopped her musical endeavours following her Hogwarts days. She continued playing the piano at home, even began to sing again after her best friend’s death rendered her silent. She was also continuously supportive of the Weird Sisters, with whom she kept occasional correspondence.

Three years after their graduation, Barnaby proposed to Clara in a dazzling spectacle among their friends, which Clara happily accepted. However, before they could move on with the actual wedding itself a year after that, Voldemort returned, and this brought a stir in many dark activities going on around the world.

In July 1995, Clara’s father got a notice from one of his old friends to return to China for a fight to hold back the Japanese dark wizards infiltrating the Muggles all around the country. Clara, however, went in his stead with his knowledge, and she was enlisted as one of the members of the Chinese Wizarding Task Force, a wizarding army with its base situated in Beijing. She worked very closely with other witches and wizards of Chinese descent from wizarding schools around the world to take down the Japanese foes, training in several areas that initially weren’t covered in her Auror training (e.g. physical combat, battle strategy, etc.) She remained in the army for almost three years, only returning to the UK once to attend Dumbledore’s funeral. There, she also blessed her old friends Bill and Tonks on their respective impending nuptials, and she gave them each a little gift from China before departing again.

Clara returned to the UK for good on May 1, 1998, on the eve before the Battle of Hogwarts. She fought in the battle and survived, only seeing her friends for the first time after the fighting had ceased. Devastation crept in her heart at the sights of some of her friends slain by Death Eaters, and just like before, it took her a long time to recover. Barnaby and her remaining friends were there for her every step of the way.

On September 1, 1998, Clara and Baranby held their pre-nuptial party at their place, inviting their friends over for a night to commemorate the fallen on a day that usually signified going back to school with friends they cared so much for. With glowing lanterns raised in the sky, Clara and her friends all eventually found peace. Two days after that, Clara ad Barnaby were finally wed, and after that they had three children--two twin boys, Melvin and Milo (Summer 1999), and a little girl Sylvia (Winter 2001).

Clara returned to the Ministry following Sylvia’s birth, and she worked in the Department of Magical Law Enforcement, retiring her position as Auror. However, she still volunteered to help with training sessions whenever she could, imparting her knowledge and expertise to new incoming Aurors.

So one of my favorite mobile games that has ever come out is Hogwarts Mystery which takes place in the Harry Potter universe shortly after the defeat of You-Know-Who and the death of the Potters. One of the things that comes up a bunch when talking to friends is they ask about your previous years. And sometimes remembering all of those details can be a bit much, so I’m going to be doing an overview of each year and what occurred during them. But I’m going to try not giving too much away.

Classes and things you’ll learn during your fourth year:

Potions: Calming Draught, Shrinking Solution, Weedosoros, Pepperup Potion, Beautification Potion, Ageing Potion, and Skele-gro.

Charms: Protego, Bombarda, Confringo, Ferula, Vermilious, Cistem Aperio, Scourgify, Diffindo, Arania Exumai, and Colloportus.

Flying: Formation Flying, Sloth Grip Roll, Broom Surfing, and Extreme Dive and Pull Up.

Transfigurations: Evanesco, Vera Verto, Beetle into Button, Colovaria, Sepensortia, and Orchideous.

Herbology: Wiggentree, Flitterbloom, Shrivelfig, and Wormwood.

Care of Magical Creatures: Fire Crab, Bowtruckle, Niffler, Murtlap, Streeler, and Kneazle.

Year 4 had to be the longest to release year in the mobile game Harry Potter Hogwarts Mystery compared to any of the previous years. Often having weeks in between chapter releases. Even though this year took forever to fully release, I found this to be the most interesting year since you had the world famous curse-breaker Madam Patricia Rakepick arrive at the castle along with her niffler. Right away from her arrival your best friend, Ben is off. She also warns the students not to go looking for the Cursed Vaults and to stay out of her way. Students have also started to sleepwalk into the Forbidden Forest, the sign the third Cursed Vault had been tempered with along with it’s general location. Unlike the previous year where you took a while trying to figure out where it was. Madam Rakepick ends up telling the player to stop looking for the Cursed Vaults but teachs them the Shield Charm.

Rowan thinks Ben isn’t really their friend and is trying to hide something. Which you can agree with or not, considering Ben does deny this along with any connection to “R”. You then go around the castle to each of the professors after class to ask for their opinion on Rakepick. Snape states she was disliked by the staff, Flitwick trusts Dumbledore’s opinion on her, Hooch has strong opinions about her but won’t comment them, and Hagrid described her as talented, ambitious, brave, devious, reckless, heroic and dangerous. He also said you shouldn’t work against her. Rakepick does inform the player that she knows you were asking about her and wants to meet in the Artefact Room. Rakepick ends up encouraging the player to keep looking for the Cursed Vaults even if it means breaking school rules and disobeying Dumbledore… which you knew your player was going to do anyway at this point. Madam Rakepick tells the player that she thinks that a Cursed Vault might be in Hogsmeade, and not even in the Forbidden Forest. She asks the player if they would like to be her assistant. Then Rakepick tells the player to ask Professor Kettleburn how to get in the Forbidden Forest safely.

Madam Rakepick asks the player to meet her at the Training Grounds. The player joins Ben, Rowan, Bill Weasley, Merula Snyde and Ismelda Murk in a little competition to become Rakepick’s assistant.

After asking Kettleburn how to enter the Forbidden Forest, you are met in the Courtyard by a cloaked figure warning the player of death if they keep looking into the Cursed Vaults. Later Kettleburn tells the player that he has advised many students on entering the forest, including Madam Rakepick. Now that the professors are monitoring the forest it is harder to sneak in but Kettleburn still thinks flying will be the easiest way in. However, your player doesn’t have a broom since apparently your parents don’t want you flying after Jacob’s disappearance. So you have to get a broom another way and Madam Hooch will not lead one out to the player as it’s against school rules after a Black Lake incident. So you end up breaking into Filch’s office in search for a broom but only find destroyed ones and another black quill. The untrasfigured quill ends up being a threathening letter from R to Madam Rakepick. Rowan, shocked that her theory about R being Rakepick is wrong, asks the player who they think R is, and they have the option of choosing either Rita Skeeter, Madam Rosmerta or Filius Flitwick. Back to the brooms, the player comes to the conclusion that they have to borrow a broom from either Andre Egwu, Ismela Murk or Merula Snyde.

Once you have a broom, you’ll head into the forest with Bill, Rowan or Baranby Lee to meet up with Charlie. But with no idea where to search they head back to search Jacob’s room for clues. Next heading back into the forest with either Tulip, Penny or Merula you meet the Centaur Torvus. After beating Torvus in a duel he reveals he was exiled from his camp due to aiding Jacob in finding the Cursed Vault in the forest. Since Jacob took a family heirloom and Torvus was blamed for the theft. That heirloom being the broken arrow the player found in the Vault of Fear… however the arrow is missing a jewel. The group decides they will need the assistance from a Niffler to find the shiny ruby arrowhead.

As mentioned earlier, Madam Rakepick has a Niffler named Sickleworth. And after proving that you can take care of the little guy, Madam Rakepick allows you to borrow them until you find the arrowhead. Sickleworth is apparently one of the few things that she cares for. With the niffler you search the Artefact room on Ben’s recommendation, Flich’s office on Rakepick’s recommendation though this was to get a key she wanted, and a Red Cap’s hole. The arrowhead is there but you have to get rid of the Red Cap with the use of a Beautification potion with Penny Haywood’s assistance. However, before you disband the Red Cap you have to spy on Rakepick for Snape since he broke your broom and will only repair it once you have uncovered her motives. Returning to Snape, the player tells Snape what they’ve learned, and that Rakepick knew about their spying. Snape reveals he expected this, and Rakepick only said what she wanted him to hear, and that she’ll be waiting for his response. Snape then gives the player Garrotting Gas as a reward for helping (along with house points, if the option to go along willingly with his plans was chosen) as he believes Rakepick may try to kill the player. Snape says he will want the player’s help again, and if they remain cooperative he will teach the player a curse he invented. With the arrowhead in had you repair the arrow and return it to Torvus.

Torvus in turn will help bring you to the vault so long as Hagrid comes. Back at Three Broomsticks Ben mentions that he knows dangerous creatures are guarding the vault. Rowan is still suspicious of Ben. The team studies into Acromanuals and knows there is a spell that works against them but Kettleburn will not teach them it. Rakepick then has the player meet them in the Transfiguration classroom, and teaches the player a spider-repelling spell. Rakepick also reveals that she is aware that the player was attacked by an unknown wizard, and warns them to be careful of those closest to them. Rakepick leaves, taking back Sickleworth for her own investigations.

With the knowledge of the spell, you go to Hagrid to get him to come along to the vault after getting rid of the Bundimun that have overtaken his hut. Later, the player meets up with Rowan and Charlie in the Clocktower Courtyard, where the cloaked figure attacks the three. They are then saved by Rakepick. The figure is revealed to be Ben Copper, who appears to have no memory of attacking the three. Rowan does not trust Ben. The player gets to decide whether Rakepick takes Ben to the Hospital Wing, Filch’s office or Dumbledore’s office.

Afterwards you’ll head to the vault with Charlie and either Rowan, Penny or Bill. You meet up with Hagrid and Torvus in the Forest Grove then head to the spider liar to enter the Cursed Vault. You have to duel an Acromanual before entering the vault. Like the previous vault you have to use the arrow to open the middle column which contains a sweater and another map. You also hear from Jacob again stating he is trapped in the final vault. When you leave the vault you meet Dumbledore and Flich who give you detention for your fifth year of having to work in the kitchen with the elves. If you also completed the Perfect quest line, you will also be a Perfect when the year begins. To end the year, you also learn that Madam Rakepick will be next year’s Defense Against the Dark Arts professor and she’ll help you with the last vault ensuring she will make sure the rules won’t prevent you from doing so.

Hogwarts Mystery: Year 4 Overview So one of my favorite mobile games that has ever come out is Hogwarts Mystery which takes place in the Harry Potter universe shortly after the defeat of You-Know-Who and the death of the Potters.

// First things first--Troy is the ONLY Sargent who I’ve seen almost all the episodes for (holding off on the last one because I don’t want to say good-bye) but I’ve been watching post-Troy, pre-John Baranby era episodes in a hit-or-miss fashion so my opinions are still in development. Now that that’s cleared up....time for what seems to be an unpopular opinion. I LIKE Scott. What I like about him is that they really went out of their way to make him DIFFERENT from Troy which I think is very important when shows have to swap out major characters. Also he has a real solid character that is distinct from Barnaby and helps him stand on his own. (Also in “Dead in the Water’, he calls Barnaby out on the way Barnaby kind of....shuffles with the law in terms of breaking-and-entering and things like that, which amused me greatly). Sure he’s kind of a jerk sometimes but I like him all the same. My favorite Sargent is Troy obviously....seeing as this IS an RP blog where I write him XD

On a side-note, can anyone tell me which are GOOD episodes for Jones’s character? Like...I’ve seen several now and Jones just isn’t really clicking for me. He just kinda seems to fade behind Barnaby and get lost in the background in the episodes I’ve seen, unlike Troy and Scott who always seemed able to stand apart and be their own, distinct characters.
