i don't know if i can exactly recommend "marry my dead body"- there is some fatphobia that I found pretty grating, and it is about a homophobic straight man learning to be doper from a dead gay man. there are many reasons you might not want to watch it! however it made me laugh and then cry a bunch. it has lovely family relationships and made the excellent decision to make the protagonist a reincarnated dog. this comes through so clearly in his characterization it is difficult not to root for him a little. also he makes sure to get a little umbrella for his dead husband's tablet when he carried it through the rain.
