hi dara! please please please feel free to ignore this if you don't feel completely comfortable or even want to explain. i'm just curious and kind of unsure. what is this thing going on with talenny4life? i followed you around when you revealed the person you were doing angry posts for (plz i'm so sorry i couldn't think of a better way to phrase that angry posts sounds so passive aggressive) was talenny4life. i've gathered that she was racist and assholish/manipulative to some of yall, but not much else really. can you explain?

Hi anon! Tbh it’s a real long story. I could probably make a whole YouTube video from the amount of bs I put up with 😭

But! To give you a summary, Tal Tal/Katie was my friend in the Carmen Sandiego fandom. Her racially questionable behavior caused a multitude of our mutuals of color to unfollow her, and even had one of my beloved mutuals deactivate bc of the stress.

She constantly milked me for art and content and was ungrateful every time but that’s the least of her sins. She continued to disrespect my boundaries and spin it around as if I were somehow overreacting. Tal would consistently ask me, a 14 year old, how to fix HER mess. I blocked her then.

This “Katie” person seems to have been a facade that Tal Tal put up to pose as a non-binary POC in order to start anew and evade all heat her way. Thanks to some detective work, we found out and she deleted immediately afterwards.

There’s…not a lot I can say. This whole situation makes me sick. I feel used, I feel gullible, and most of all, I feel like the damage she has caused hurt my little part of the community to an insane degree. For a show that preaches about diversity and love, Carmen Sandiego didn’t seem to teach Tal Tal anything :/
