tbh i think that like purposefully using the 'wrong' pronouns for a fictional character Can be a lil like. wack at times. i mean i still dont wanna equate it entirely to misgendering. but if its a trans character and someone refuses to use the pronouns the character goes by? sketchy.
BUT. like. lets be honest when company clowns make a character use they/them its not because the character is trans. its because they arent human. its almost always the idea that by giving them 'abnormal' pronouns other than he or she that it is showing they are Not Human. like devs saying 'this character uses they/them because they are an unimagimable monster that is incapable of humanity or experience human gender' isnt the #Representation ppl sometimes want it to be
