okay i kinda posted that art (that i’ve had in my drafts for a while lol) right now so i could ramble abt the halloween maps…

halloween’s here is cute i really like the costumes… but the lyrics sound so boring 😭 i’m kinda sad they brought the just dance band back for this like why wasn’t it halloween thrills or something (I WANTED THE JD BAND TO COME BACK AND MAKE SOMETHING LIKE PACA DANCE AGAIN 😭😭😭)

i like the lyrics to beautiful freaks (the song they based it on) better but also it’s a datamine and i don’t like thinking abt scrapped stuff cuz it was never meant to be seen lol

i’d prefer something like ghost in the keys, where the visual theme is halloween, but the lyrics just tell a normal ghost story, not necessarily abt halloween lol

i could totally see the story of “ghost in the keys” being told across danceverses as a legend or something, but halloween’s here just sounds like a “ahhh its halloween!!! spooky!!!! candy and monsters!!!” filler lyric song it’s so boring to me sorry 😭

also sorta off topic, but i would LOVE to have another spooky musical song in JD again, i’ve been OBSESSED with always look on the bright side of life and time warp (beetlejuice maybe???)
