I can’t speak plautdietsch like the rest of my family bc my mom was mad at my grandparents during my early childhood and never bothered to teach me any, but the one thing that’s for some reason been impressed into my brain is that, like, whenever I see a fake fantasy word ending in an e my brain goes “pronounce that like it’s german” so then when, for example, Satine from star wars’ last name (Kryze) gets spoken aloud I’m always surprised it’s just pronounced “kreez” and not “kree-zuh”
