Seabun making the moVes

Though he was infatuated with the red of Snaps magic lighting his face, it was quickly replaced with concern when Snaps turned away with a cough. He was a little closer, more of his upper body out of the water, when Snaps turned back around.

And at Snaps words… Kelek wasn’t technically here, but the stubborn resolved expression that crosses Seabuns face wasn’t any less familiar.

His hands, chubby looking in their thickness, plant themselves onto the ledge before he pulls himself up carefully and somewhat smoothly from the water, his fur-like tendrils drawing back closer to his body, giving him a much slicker appearance out of water than his fluffy one when in.

He’s fleshy and warm when he puts his hand on Snaps cheek, his thumb tenderly rubbing along some of the tar before his eyes meet the pits of Snaps sockets.

“I like looking at you,” his smile is an echo of the one that greets Snaps home, “in all the land and sea, you’re the most beautiful view.”

He gets Snaps shorts wet when he pulls just that little bit closer. His lips are soft and tender against Snaps cheek, gentle as though Snaps were a fragile treasure.

Seabunny!Kelek spying on land!Snaps from the water after he sees him one day. Just thinks he's really neat. Does his best to stay hidden b/c he's a silly mer creature, but he's not the fastest. I imagine Snaps is p tuned into his environment, especially when scouting, so I doubt he's unaware of his little water shadow for long at all. Maybe doesn't know /what/ it is, but its not actually bothering him so whatever.

Seabun is just completely enamored. So he does what silly mer people do and finds a v pretty opalized wood or fossil. Probably super nervous b/c he's not sure he can hide fast enough. But he waits till Snaps is around again before he sneaks up and then.

Splsh. Plat.

Snaps most likely sees his goofy tail and maybe even his bright pink booty gills whoosh behind a rock formation. Moments later Seabun peaks out from a different spot in the formation to watch what he does.
