WARNINGS: None.

Reader was meant to be based off of a character in SAO, but I’ve not watched it yet, so I’ve changed it up.

Reader’s quirk: Spells. 

Last name: Sasaki.

Hero name: Mother Rosario.

Known as: Undefeated hero of pro-heroes.

Reader is in Class 1-A. Reader has an illness that was incurable at first.

Also, there’s gonna be some major time skips in this. I don’t really remember what happens in the Overhaul Arc of BNHA some I’m gonna kinda make it a bit different from the original.

*(y/n)’s pov*

My eyes sparkled as i watched his form, plowing through the sports festival. 

“He’s so cuteee....!” I squealed out loud unintentionally. The other people gave me weird looks before they focused their attention back on the festival.

Well, as for me, i was still paying attention to none other than Mirio Togata of Class 3-A. Today was the Class 3-A festival. The Class 1-A festival was yesterday and i had taken 1st place. I decided to work for Sir Nighteye’s agency as that was where Mirio worked~

That was the first time i saw Mirio. 

Time skip~ Class 1-A meets the Big three~

A smile lit up my face as the big three introduced themselves. I was happy since i was able to see Mirio again. 

“Mirio!” I called out as they were walking round. I had already changed into my pe uniform since we were going against Mirio. He turned around with a bright smile,

“(y/n), right?” I nodded.

“If i beat you, you have to give me your phone number. Deal?” Mirio looked surprised, but then nodded with a smirk,

“Bring it on.”

After everyone was done changing, we all stood in front of Mirio who had started stating the rules. As soon as the battle began, i closed my eyes, focusing on his presence. The others started screaming as he had phased through his clothes. He seemed to have a tendency to appear behind people... Concentrating, I ran with my eyes closed, sensing his presence beneath me. He shot out from under the ground and i jumped up, twisting to punch him. Mirio grabbed my fist, hurling me over his shoulder, mid-air. I turned back around, keeping a firm grip on his arm, and threw him over me. From there, we hit the ground, with me pinning him down. I smirked leaning down to his ear,

“I win. Tell me your number after we change?” He chuckled,

“Sure. How about you let me put on some pants first then?” I blushed brightly, getting off of him as he went to put on his pants. 

Everyone looked at me in awe, and Kirishima piped up with a bright grin,

“She’s not the ‘undefeated hero of pro-heroes’ for nothing!” i giggled as i walked to the changing rooms.

After changing, Mirio was outside waiting for me. 

“Wow. Didn’t really expect you to stay...”

“Who do you take me for? A deal is a deal.” He laughed, handing me a slip of paper.

“You’re so damn cute!!!” I squealed, hugging him. Mirio chuckled nervously, awkwardly placing his hands on my back.

“Are you going to Sir Nighteye’s agency?”

“Mhm.” I nodded, enjoying the sweet embrace.

“I’ll walk you back to your dorm.” 

The walk to the dorm was silent as we enjoyed each other’s company.

“Good night, (y/n).” He pressed a kiss to my forehead before walking to his dorm building. I stood there, shocked. My cheeks heated up as i processed everything whilst closing my door.

“AHHHH! HE KISSED MEEE!!!” I screamed with a bright grin.

“SHUT THE FUCK UP YOU EXTRA!”

“Sorry, sorry.” I apologised through the wall.

A few days had passed and we texted each other a lot. It seemed like we had a chance of getting together, but then i was hit with the harsh reality. I suddenly started feeling pain all over my body, and decided to go to the hospital to check it out.

“I’m sorry (l/n)-san. Your illness is incurable. I’m afraid you only have weeks to live.” Everything froze. I still had a whole life to live, and it’s getting cut short?

That was yesterday. Today i was walking with Izuku to Sir Nighteye’s agency. We were meeting him for the first time. Mirio greeted us at the entrance with a smile,

“You guys are here early!” I smiled slightly,

“Yeah. We didn’t want to be late on our first day after all.”

Sir Nighteye was kind to me, but not to Izuku. We ended up having to leave Sir Nighteye and Izuku in the room. 

We sat on the sofa, and Mirio took my hands in his,

“Hey, you okay?” I bit my lip before smiling,

“Yeah, I’m fine. What about you? I didn’t see you at school yesterday.”

“I was finishing up some paperwork for Sir Nighteye. You know you can talk to me if something’s wrong, right?”

“Yeah... I know. Well... The truth is, i... Don’t have long to live.” His smile was wiped off his face,

“What do you mean?”

“I went to the doctors’ yesterday because my whole body hurt. They said i had an illness that was incurable... And that i only have weeks to live.”

Mirio wrapped his arms around my waist, pulling me to his chest as he rested his chin on my head,

“Hey, don’t cry. I’ll be with you every step of the way.” My fingers wiped the liquid off my face. I was crying? I didn’t even notice. 

I closed my eyes, hugging him tightly. 

Time skip~ Overhaul incident~

I panted as u ran down the corridors to where Mirio and Eri were. As soon as i arrived, i noticed Overhaul about to throw a needle at Mirio. Quickly, i chanted my spell,

“Ek skýt fjórir ískaldur ör!” (I shoot four glacial arrows???)

I shot my ice arrows to deflect the needle coming to him. 

“Tch, annoying.” He spoke, glaring at me with hatred. 

The fight lasted for a long time, Sir Nighteye and Izuku joining us later on. I held my breath, reciting another spell,

“Þeír slíta fimm grœnn vindr!” (Tear them, five green winds.)

The wind blades deflected the spikes going towards Sir Nighteye. If they weren’t deflected, he would’ve died...

Time skip~ After the fight~

I closed my eyes as i lay on the ground of the battle. I couldn’t bring myself to move as every bone in my body hurt. I feel like I’m reaching my limit.

“(y/n)!” I weakly lifted my hand to show i was alive.

“H-Hey Mirio...” 

“(y/n)!!! Are you okay?!”

“Mm, i th-think I’m a-alright...” He picked me up bridal style, running towards recovery girl. After that, i blacked out. 

I woke up with a start before i slowly relaxed. I was in a hospital bed. I tried to my my hand but it felt heavy,

“Hah...” I smiled as i saw Mirio at my side. He really is so cute...

I placed my hand on top of his head, playing with his blonde strands of hair. His eyes fluttered open, and a grin found its way on his face as he saw me awake,

“You’re awake!” He glomped me with so much affection, i nearly suffocated. Laughing, I patted his back,

“Yes, i am...”

“(y/n)... I like you... I really like you...” Mirio whispered. I closed my eyes with a satisfied smile,

“I really like you too Mirio.”

He kissed my forehead before taking my hands,

“Recovery girl managed to cure your illness. Apparently, another country had just developed a new medicine for it. Anyway, mind getting dressed? I’m taking you somewhere.” Mirio gave me a bright smile as i nodded enthusiastically. 

I was blindfolded after i got changed not knowing where we were going. 

As soon as we arrived, Mirio took my hand before taking the cloth from my eyes.

“Remember the UA festival?”

“Oh yeah!” 

“Weren’t you in the special effects team?” My eyes widened,

“Damn, i forgot...” He chuckled,

“Of course, you did. But you can stay here with me, and watch... If you want, or you can join your class?”

“No, I’ll stay with you.” I gave a bright smile to him as he hugged me from behind. 

The show started, and it was as amazing as i expected it to be. At the end of the show, Mirio lifted my chin up, connecting his lips with mine...

Leopold and Y/n sat on the bench under the big tree. A strong wind gushed the tree, the leaves and the flowers fell down and flew away in the air.

They flew to where the two of them are. There is one petal that fell to Leopold's head. Y/n looked at Leopold and laughed before picking the petal from his head

"What is this? A present for me?" Y/n said in a teasing manner.

"No, it just fell to my head, I've got no present for you" Leopold laugh, Y/n pouted and then look away.

"Hmmph! Meanie!" Y/n crossed her arms like a child.

"What's wrong with you...?" Leopold hissed. Y/n only laughed and then clapped her hands without any reason.

Y/n felt that Leopold can protect her from Yuno. She felt comfortable with Leopold, his aura is made her feel calm. Different from Finral, sometimes Y/n felt uncomfortable but sometime she also feel comfortable.

Maybe she is feeling comfortable because Finral accepted her. The uncomfortable side is, Finral is a famous boy, maybe the other girls can get jealous with Y/n and plot something for vengeance.

"Can we skip lessons again for tomorrow?" Y/n asked.

"No... You can't"

"Why?"

"Because you need to study, don't you dare skip classes to have fun, Y/n!" Leopold poking Y/n's forehead.

"F-Fine..."

Leopold pulled his hand and hid it behind his pants pocket. There are some petals falling to Y/n's palm. It's like a romantic date, a sunny day with fresh air, making everything felt warm.

"About Yuno... Sometimes he is possesive if he wants something" Leopold starts talking about Yuno.

"Eh?" Y/n turn her head with quickly and look Leopold.

"You don't need to be scared... You're lucky to be honestly, he is a cool boy... Girls want to be noticed by him but he only noticed you" Leopold stare at Y/n. There is Y/n's reflection on Leopold's eyes.

"But i don't want him to notice me" her e/c orbs flashed a shining reflection.

"Who knows?" Leopold answered shortly.

Y/n turned her head and looked down with a sad expression. She squeezed Leopold's pants and skin a little. That made him slightly squeaked, Y/n pulled her hands away, looking at Leopold. They both had a little argument because of a small thing.

On the building inside the classroom on the second floor, someone watched them from the window.

"What a cute couple..." He smirked.

Timeskip-After School :

Some of them are going to the dorm and some went back home. Y/n is walking alone to her house, it is not too much far away from the school. But then, someone tapped her shoulder. Y/n stopped and turn her head to look at who is tapping her.

It's a boy, he is tall and has pretty light blue eyes, his hair is tied to the back in a ponytail. He is wearing the same school uniform as Y/n. Nacht Faust, a 3rd year in Y/n's school. Sometimes, he closed his eyes and put on a happy little grin.

"Are you going home?" He asked.

"Yes, my house is over there..." Y/n pointed her finger to the alleyway.

"Oh~Same, me too, i live in the same alleyway with you, let's go together, shall we?" He walked first, Y/n following him behind.

"Wait...!" Y/n chased after him so she can walk beside him.

"You're a first year student, right?" He asked while smiling.

"Ye-yes..."

"How's your day? Is it amazing or not?"

"Maybe yes... Maybe no" Y/n look down, Nacht only let out a chuckle.

"My name is Nacht Faust, i'm from 3-A, how about you?"

"Y/n L/n... I'm from 1-B"

"You are quite smart... Aren't you?"

Nacht stopped because he is already at his house. He live a few houses from the h/c-haired girl. Y/n still need to walk a little from Nacht's house to reach her own. They said goodbye to eachother and Nacht went inside to his house. Y/n continued her way to her house.

Y/n just met another senior, she thinks that Nacht is attractive. She starts to wonder if she can be with him or not.

Teenage love story as usual, Y/n is like the main character. But then, instead of having a boyfriend, it's more better to study. She let out a heavy sigh and went to her house.

"I'm back~" Y/n always greeted her mom before she left the house and when she returns home.

"Welcome home~How was your first day?" Her mom asked.

"Great! I have some friends now! But... There is something weird but I'll tell you later" Y/n gave her a disappointing look, what she meant is Yuno.

"Butttt, there is a senior who lives close to us here too! His name is Nacht Faust"

"Nacht... Great" Her mom smiled and then continued cooking for dinner.

"Ah! I will tell you everything later, i need to do something first! Bye" Y/n ran up the staircase to her room.

Y/n took a shower, wore a fresh set of clothes and went down for dinner. Her father isn't home yet so she will eat with her mom. Maybe this is her chance to ask about his father's job to her mom. She sat on her chair and started eating her food.

"Mom, what is my father's job?"

"Your father? Uhm... I don't know what should i say..." Her mother said, trying to avoid her question.

"Huh?"

"It's no matter what is your father's job, as long as you are happy and we have money to pay for what do you needed, that's fine." Her mon patted her head.

Y/n only pouted and then look away. She is not satisfied with the answer and continued to eat. Why is everybody hiding about her father's job? Why does her own father never tell her about his job? Why are her friends also hiding it from Y/n if they knww what is her father's job? In the end, Y/n doesn't know anything about her father or her family.

Timeskip - tomorrow

Y/n went out from her house and walked around for a little. She stopped and saw Nacht saying goodbye with his father, that made her smiled. She came to Nacht and then pushed him from behind.

Nacht widen his eyes and looked behind him to find her pushing him. They laughed and then walk together to the school.

This is her second day at the new highschool. She gained a new friend, Nacht Faust, who lives near her. Maybe the two of them would meet often. Nacht and Y/n walk to school together, the students who saw them started teasing them. They were whispering about the two of them being a couple. You know, tacky teenage days.

"Hey, do you mind with the rumor if we are dating?" Y/n asked him.

"No, well it's not problem for me"

"Then, let's walk together! Ehmm... Sometimes i feel lonely if i'm walk alone, maybe... You can help me send the lonely feeling away from me!" Y/n pointed her finger to Nacht.

"Sure, why not? Besides, we are friends, right?" Nacht put on his iconic close eyed smile.

"Great!" Y/n did a victory pose and then she walk first, leaving Nacht behind.

"Wait, you are so fast!" Nacht walk more faster so he can walk beside her.

Nacht and Y/n, they just met yesterday and now they are so close. They looked like a family but sometimes looking like a couple. Nacht is like her big brother, but he is not. He is also don't know what should he say, what he wants. Nacht is kinda mysterious in the school.

Behind them, there is Yuno who watching the two of them. He felt jealous because Y/n is with another boy. But then he still put his cold expression. He doesn't too much show his emotions because he think it's idiotic to show emotions. Some of girls who walk passed him, praising his face and fangirled over him. But, Yuno doesn't care about them and still watched Y/n.

A strong wind blew and the leaves flew about everywhere. The flowers started flying away and separate as a petal. Y/n caught one of them and smiled. If only something bad happen, all she wants to remember is when she is with her friends. Y/n looked at Nacht, maybe she can believe Nacht for now. Nacht is still has his iconic close eyed smile on.

Someone grabbed Y/n's hand from behind. Making her stopped and turn her body to that person. Yuno is the one who stopped her, his face is very handsome. Y/n blushed upon seeing Yuno's face. Nacht stopped and look at Yuno.

"Let's go, together" Yuno said. Y/n still looking at him with her eyes widened.
