thinking abt tantrumcore with qu^ckity (put below bc this is a relatively dark side of regression)

he mainly regresses in the calm after panic attacks, which means he can wail and kick his feet instead of just clenching his fists and ignoring how his feathers bristle. some days qu^ckity starts whacking his own head to try to get the thoughts out because it’s all these big things that make his head hurt when he thinks about it. phil really is a nice cg and leans towards being a softie but some days qu^ckity gets so overwhelmed and self destructive he just has to hold him back. he tries to make it feel like a hug.

also qu^ckity who regresses and is a calm lil guy except with t<chno. he refuses to get a cg (Charlie helps just because he’s excited that qu^ckity wants to go do more fun things) but his heart is racing in the middle of an argument and it all just drops. but he just keeps on stumbling back and hitting wildly at t<chno while he’s crying. t<chno is very unsurprisingly good at wrangling people (two younger brothers and a friend/trainee who love to run crazy and get into fights) so he gets qu^ckity just in the space needle. and he doesn’t want t<chno in las nev^d^s because it’s HIS and why is this jerk on HIS LAND but maybe he whines every time t<chno starts to leave and he can’t understand why. t<chno isn’t much to pursue it but he’s available and he lets qu^ckity know (who is more scared to tell someone else about his regression than t<chno). it dulls down but sometimes t<chno moves too fast or just looks too scary and qu^ckity starts crying and yelling
