#help too many franchises#funny how NONE of these characters are the main character of any given series#sure Hastings is Poirot's partner#but POIROT is the *MAIN* character#Hastings got written out of the books way sooner than the TV makes you think he has#but then again hugh fraser is just too babygirl to not have him on the show 90% of the time#also I just love rather obscure characters in general *looking at both Mitaka and Schwarz*
