She didn’t expect to get caught staring—quite frankly, Ann wasn’t usually one to stare in the first place. Still, she had hear Yusuke & Akira talking about a ‘beautiful shogi player’—which in turn, had made her more curious then anything. She didn’t play shogi herself, nor did she have much of an interest in it—however, there was something about what the boys had been talking about that made her come here. Ann had mostly seen older people play it ( not that he’s really paid attention—there was probably a club at Shujin, but she wouldn’t know. It wasn’t her thing ).

Hands were clasped behind the blondes back; pigtails bouncing as she stood up straight from getting caught. She didn’t realize that she would get caught staring—she was just making sure that this was the girl! And what she was going to do with that information, well…she hadn’t gotten that far yet. She had to make this situation less awkward— “You know Yusuke, right?” Her question was quick; maybe that would break the ice a little. “—And Akira, too! Right? I think he comes here sometimes…” she shook her head, hands moving in front of her, fingers fanned out slightly. This wasn’t what she came here for, but—

“Sorry! Sorry. I was just trying to make sure you were the right person…Togo-san, right? I heard you’re really, really good at Shogi—could you…teach me?”
