idk if someone else has already said this but i really wanted to thank you for keeping the body/facial hair (and body type) on your genderbends, ive never seen anyone else do that before and it gives me so much comfort🥹🥹, ik it probably isnt what you aim for but GNC trans people in general give me SO much comfort and seeing your art really makes me feel so seen, thank you so much 💗💗
Ahh! This was such a lovely thing to receive! I'm really happy I can help others be seen in my silly doodles, rather on purpose or not

and hey if peppino and anton can be hc'd as trans men, I don't see why peppina and antonietta can't be hc'd as trans woman :)

Art question! What was harder, ab bod or dad bod?
Dad bod! I could do a set of abs in my sleep, they’re a pretty simple set of lines. Just make sure they have enough curve to look natural and not like blocks, and you’re good. Muscles are also more rigid, they stay in one place and don’t distort too much with movement unless you’re really twisting around. Fat moves around a LOT more, it’s much more pliable and squishy, and it’s also much more individual? Like you gotta figure out where it sits and falls based on the person, and if there would be any additional creases based on the position, or if it would flatten out like if the person is on their back or stretching. It’s a much more wild card. Also because, frankly, I don’t draw enough of it. I started drawing in imitation of anime/manga, then moved my focus to American superhero comics, and I doubt I need to tell you that looking at those is NOT going to provide you with references for a great range of body types. It’s pretty much one or two molds per sex (sexy skinny but busty lady and skinny flat teen girl, huge buff men or lean buff men) and while the exaggeration of all the muscle groups does make it helpful for seeing the underlying anatomy better---we’ve all got said muscle groups, they’re just not visible in most cases---there are characters I want to draw who I don’t see as hyper-exaggerated idealizations. And I wanna get better at that. I’d like to draw bodies of all shapes, sizes, ages, configurations, etc. My ideal is to get to that point. But, definitely not there yet!
