Throwback to the time I told part of my family about No Longer Human by Osamu Dazai, was really excited about it and told them not only the story but also the circumstances it was written under.

And my aunt nearly breaks down crying because "How can young people read something so horrible :c" and "suicide is a sin!!!"

I genuinely had no words, because what the fuck.
