Elaine is such a wonderful character tbh???

Suburban mom enjoying the sudden thrill of adventure, marveling at the decadence of other people's lives, delighting in dressing up and dancing and playing coy, becoming angry with Napoleon when she thinks she has been unfairly used to hurt someone, telling Napoleon she doesn't blame him when they get caught and she looks death in the eye, having a breakdown after their close call about how her husband and children would never see the girl the people at the party saw which is so so real of her, and then sharing a near-hysterical laugh with him about the ridiculousness of it all.

Possibly my favorite Innocent in the whole series: she's smart and normal and pretty and charming and awkward and loyal and emotional and real. I love her.
