I’m so glad they kept Ganondorf as being the super ridiculously extra king he is.

Man literally impersonates Zelda, has her become a local cryptid for giggles, goes on this long dramatic spiel about his motivations after it’s revealed absolutely no one in the throne room knows who he is and gives them a fun little evil vision, and then hides in the deepest parts of the chasm waiting for Link to show up just to give himself the biggest glow up in history, before promptly turning himself into a dragon.

All that’s missing is the spooky organ music as Link makes his way through the underground castle area to him, which Ganondorf would be playing himself as he did in OoT. Alas, this Ganondorf, while definitely a theater kid, is still a different Ganondorf, and most likely did not have access to certain instruments due to the time period. Sad.

But he’s still SUPER extra and that’s what matters.

I love me a dramatic evil king. 10/10. 🥰
