Casually calling him daddy; Caleb
Word count; 922
Warnings; "daddy" ofc, fluff
Notes; Hope yall enjoy these updated drabbles!! <3
☆☆☆☆☆
You and Caleb weren't…well, technically, you weren't dating, but you weren't exactly sure what to call it. Your relationship is the same it's always been.
The usual cuddling, hand-holding, pretending to date to thwart love confessions…
And you were trying to figure out how exactly to push the envelope just a step further.
As you were scrolling through decade old apps, you found a TikTok compilation.
Now, you weren't exactly sure what TikTok was since it was, at least, 20-years old, but you decided to watch the video anyways since you were doom scrolling in bed at Caleb's home.
As you were watching, one trend caught your eye.
It was the aptly named “calling your boyfriend daddy” trend and while you didn't have a boyfriend…you did have Caleb.
You weren't exactly sure what kinks Caleb had, but whether his reaction was sexual, disgust, or whatever it may be, you wanted to see. So, with that thought in mind, you get up and call your OTTO into the room.
“Hello, master, what do you need help with today? Do you need breakfast? Master Caleb left two hours, thirty-five minutes, and 40 seconds ago to go to work. He won't be home until–”
“Thank you so much for that, OTTO, but I needed something else.” You quickly cut the circular robot off, feeling a bit bad for doing so, but you doubt its feelings would be hurt. “Whenever Caleb gets home and we start cooking, can you switch to your recording mode?”
“I can do that. Any video saved will go straight to Master Caleb's phone.” The bot says as it flies around your head and you shrug, “That's fine with me. Let me know when he gets home!”
Now, you just need to figure out how you'll seamlessly bring the word up in conversation with Caleb…
“He's home! He's home!” OTTO shouts, almost excitedly, as it speeds around the house similarly to an overexcited dog. Though, its warning was a tad too late as Caleb steps in the door while the bot is excitedly yelling.
“You missed me so much, you got OTTO to tell ya when I get home?” He laughs as he takes his Colonel hat off, setting it on the coffee table.
“Maybe…” you grab his hat, putting it on as you shove him toward his room. “Go get changed, I'm hungry.”
“Alright, alright. Geez, no need to be in such a hurry, pipsqueak.” He holds his hands up, allowing you to push him.
After he's changed, he joins you in the kitchen with OTTO flying steadily around the room.
“Did you tell OTTO to do something? It's acting realllly strange.” Caleb's eyes narrow as he shuts the rice cooker. “Nope, maybe it's broken.” You shrug, continuing to peel an apple.
You decided to make an apple smoothie for both you and Caleb, almost completely forgetting about your earlier plan. “Oh right…” you murmur under your breath.
How were you going to bring it up…
“What're you thinking about, pipsqueak?” Caleb rests an arm on your shoulder as he pokes the skin between your eyebrows. “What's got you furrowing your brows?”
“Well da– I mean, hmm…” you're honestly feeling a bit frustrated, but also embarrassed that you can't find a way to naturally insert this word into the conversation.
How come he can do it so easily when calling you pipsqueak?
Caleb raises a brow, leaning more into your view. “What did you say?”
“Ah, it's nothing.” You shove at his chest with a small laugh. “Give me some space, Caleb. You know I'm holding a knife, right?”
But as soon as you say this, you feel an odd pressure on your wrist. Your hand lets go of the knife and it clatters on the marble countertop.
“Caleb– ?”
He turns your body to face him, your back against the counter as he tilts his head to the side.
“Go on.”
“I wasn't going to say anything, seriously!” You can't help but laugh, turning your head to look away from him.
He didn't know exactly what you were going to say from just a few letters…right?
He grabs your chin, turning your head to face him. “Don't look away from me.” He jerks his chin up as he looks down at you. “Go ahead, say what you were going to say. I'm waiting.”
Embarrassment along with…something else was boiling in the pit of your stomach and you let out a low, panicked whine, lightly stomping your foot.
Suddenly, you felt like you couldn't say anything. So tongued that you just kept your mouth shut.
A sharp laugh escapes Caleb and his grip tightens around your chin. “Alright, brat. You really don't want to say it?” He hums, eyes flitting from yours to your lips. “Then I guess that means…no braised chicken tonight?”
“Huh–” you owlishly blink at him, before finally coming back to life. “That's not fair–!”
“Then…Say. It.” Caleb clicks his tongue, slowly leaning forward so his forehead rests against yours.
“I…ugh.” You sigh, feeling heat rush to your cheeks. “I'm sorry…daddy.”
“Good girl.” He hums with a content smile, dipping his head down to lightly peck your lips before suddenly, he's gone. “Now get back to your smoothie.”
Your face was red as you stared at his back. How the hell was he so unphased!?
That's so unfair.
But as you puff out your cheeks in annoyance, you notice how one of his hands is balled up into a fist and his ears are a pretty shade of red.
Casually calling them "daddy" LADS
Word count; 1,913
Themes; slightly barely there suggestive content, fluff, established relationship
Warnings; mention of "daddy" ofc, fluff
Notes; So these turned out more fluffy than I originally intended...honestly, thought they'd be more smutty, but I've learnt that it's really difficult for me to write smut. Or at least, smut with little to no context before it all goes down. I might eventually write some smuttier drabbles, but regardless of smut, I hope you enjoy this little thing I wrote!
You saw that there was an old trend about calling your boyfriend “daddy” and videoing their reaction so, obviously, you wanted to give it a try…
Xavier
It's been almost a year since you and Xavier started dating– and it was a wonderful eleven months! He told you everything about himself. What his future with you was like, all of his feelings throughout the centuries, and you listened. You wholeheartedly believed him, because it would be one hell of a lie if it wasn't true…and you didn't think Xavier had the time or energy to come up with a complex lie like that.
But even if you now know, time moves on. There's not much you can do about your future self, so you can't really change the future in that way though…Xavier's here now, in the past, and that's all that matters to you.
Anyway, today was just a normal day as any.
You were sitting at the counter, keeping a close eye on Xavier– who was attempting to follow, yet another, cooking tutorial. The man was desperate to cook a decent meal for you. His heart dead set on making you something edible for your upcoming year anniversary…and while that was cute, you also wanted to mess with him.
You push your cup just out of your reach and make a big show of trying to reach for it, before sighing loudly.
“Daddy, can you pass me my drink please?”
You can hear the clang of a spatula hitting the floor and you watch Xavier’s body comically whip around to face you.
“What?” His head cocks to the side as his wide eyes were set on your face. “Say that again..”
“Hmm? I said ‘Xav, can you pass me my drink, please’.” You copy his head tilt and he quickly shakes his head.
“No, no you didn't.” He takes a few steps toward you before grabbing your hand in-between both of his. “Say it again.”
You couldn't resist his sweet puppy dog eyes, so you hold back a smile as you meet his eyes. “I...called you daddy.”
“Really?” He seems unusually excited. “So are we…?” His gaze lowers to your stomach and you can’t help the giggle that slips from your lips.
Gosh, he was so cute.
“Baby– no, no. We're not pregnant.” You run your fingers through his hair with a smile on your lips. “Are...you disappointed?”
“Mmh..” Xavier hums thoughtfully for a moment before he shakes his head. “No. We can just make it a reality later. No need to rush.”
Zayne
You and Zayne have only been dating for six months, but it felt like much longer. Having known each other since you were little, you both had always been close– well, your definition of close and his were probably different. You always thought of him as a friend while he tried to keep a distance and thought you hated him. But time brought you both back together with him as your primary care physician.
The two of you had been flirting up until his birthday and finally made it official once he blew his candles out on the cake you made for him. It was a sweet time, but that was six months ago.
Now, though, you really want to fluster the man.
He always embarrasses you and makes you feel nervous, but you never get to see him that way. Sure, his ears will turn red and sometimes he won't meet your eyes when you get too intense with him, but you've never seen him absolutely shocked. And you just wanted to see one look of surprise from him.
So, what did you decide to do?
You decided to casually call him "daddy” as a joke.
That should definitely go over well.
Zayne is seated behind his desk at the hospital, sorting through papers as you longue on his sofa. Your eyes continuously glancing toward the windows to make sure the door was shut and the blinds were closed.
“If you keep staring at the door, you just might burn a hole through it.” Zayne says, though he didn't even look up from his paperwork. He was attentive like that and probably already knew you wanted something or you were ready to go home. And he was right.
“When are we going home…daddy?” You ask as you kick your feet in the air behind you. You were on your stomach, resting your cheek against your arms as you watched his expression…which didn't change at all.
"Just give me a few more minutes, angel, and I'll be done.” Zayne pushes his glasses up with his index finger and clicks his pen, jotting down a few notes.
“I–” You puff your cheeks out with a small sigh and decide to keep going with it. “I want to go home now, daddy.”
“Didn't I just tell you to be patient?” Now Zayne finally looks up at you with one of his brows raised. “I'll deal with you when we get home.”
Rafayel
It's been four months since Rafayel asked you out. Four months since you tugged Rafayel down into the bath with you, which set off a chain reaction of a steamy night, followed by him asking you out the next morning; he also complained that you both went out of order, but he wasn’t too upset when you continued where you left off…
Now, though, you moved out of your apartment and to Rafayel's home, ‘Mo Art Studio’ at Whitesand Bay.
It was definitely odd at first, but it was a good change of pace. Always being by the ocean, able to take your morning walks together on the beach and collect seashells. You had a whole collection on your desk at work. He'd always give you the most unique and prettiest shells, saying “only the best for his cutie”.
He was also so easy to fluster.
You immediately knew you had him wrapped around your finger every time his ears would turn red. That same crimson slowly made its way from his ears to his cheeks, all the way to his whole face. So you assumed your little ‘prank’ would also have the same effect.
You were sitting on a beach towel in the sand with an umbrella blocking your eyes from the bright sun. In front of you was Rafayel, painting your visage, with an easel. His hand deftly moves across the canvas as he sketches the outline for his new painting.
Lately, you are the only thing he can paint. Always asking you to stop what you're doing so he can run and get his sketch pad. You could be doing something so normal and mundane, but he'd be struck with the inspiration to record your very image.
As much as you loved it and thought this was very sweet, after almost two weeks of this…You wanted some form of payback.
“Hey, daddy, can we take a break for a second? It’s really hot out here.” You squint your eyes to try and see Rafayel's face, your hand fanning at your body because you, seriously, are hot out here.
“Huh?”
It's like Rafayel is frozen in time, or buffering. He's just blankly staring at you with a confused expression on his face until his pencil drops into the sand. That's when he quickly stands up and makes his way toward you.
“Again.”
Now, it's your turn to be confused.
“Raf, what–”
“Not that, say the other word again.” His ears were red as he crouched down in front of you, a look of determination in his eyes.
“No– you're making it weird!” You put your hands on his shoulders, trying to put some distance between him as your face turns red.
“Please, I really need to hear you say it again! I'm seriously going to die if you don't.” There's your overdramatic fishy.
“Fine, but just this once.” You grumble, turning your head to look away from him. “Daddy…” Though you say it as low as you can and Rafayel groans, tilting his head back.
“Louder.” He rests his forehead against yours. “Come on, cutie. If you don't…I might want to change that to my new nickname.”
Sylus
It's been about…a year? Yes, definitely a year since you and Sylus started dating. Well, you both have differing opinions on when exactly you started dating. Sylus claims it was the moment he laid eyes on you in the N109 Zone, while you claim it was only about six months ago– which is when you and Sylus made a bet.
It was a bet where if he came back safely from his mission, he'd leave you alone. He wouldn't bother you anymore, wouldn't talk to you, contact you, anything of the sort…and you won, but you didn't realize he'd actually do it. So whenever you seeked him out to make sure he was safe, and he ignored you, you realized that maybe you did want him in your life.
This led to you running across the street to him and jumping into his arms like this was a hallmark movie, and you claim this was when you officially started dating Sylus.
But between us, you just agree with Sylus when he says a year, because if you don't, he'll pout for the whole day.
...And today was one of those ‘pouty Sylus’ days.
You went on a mission that was probably way too dangerous, even though you told Sylus you were going to slow down on your Hunter's work. But you couldn't just ignore endangered civilians. If any of them would have died, that would've been too much for your sympathetic heart to handle.
And even if Sylus understands your reasoning, he's still upset that you left without telling him– having woken up to a cold bed without you by his side sent him spiraling into a panic.
So, when you got home, you noticed he was sulking in the kitchen as he made dinner.
“Sy…” You take your shoes off by the door, nervously fiddling with your fingers as you tentatively walk into the kitchen. Standing behind the counter, you sigh, “I'm reeaally sorry...”
“If you're reeaaally sorry, then help me make our dinner.” He says, not looking up at you and that doesn't make you feel any better.
“Okay..” You finally step past the counter and you look around. “So…what do you need?” You were trying to figure out something– anything that could make Sylus feel better when a thought comes to your mind.
Most guys probably like it when their girlfriend calls them daddy…right?
“In the cabinet, top shelf. I need a bottle of garlic powder.”
Okay, you got this.
You take a deep breath and open the cabinet, straining your arm to try and reach the seasoning bottle, but your fingertips barely brush it and knock it over. “Shit…” You swallow back your nervousness before continuing, “Daddy, can you grab it for me?”
The room fills with silence for a moment, but then you hear Sylus chuckle.
“Sure, kitten.”
Your back suddenly feels warm as a firm chest presses against it and Sylus reaches up from behind you to grab the bottle.
“I ask you to do one simple thing and you can't even do that.” Sylus chides, clicking his tongue as he pops the bottle open to pour some into the pan on the stove.
“Da–”
“If you think a few empty words will make me feel better, kitten…you've got to try a lot harder than that.”
I'd like to say, this is definitely one of my better drabbles– one of my favorites, in fact!
I have like...six more ideas for drabbles and then I'll need to come up with some more. Like these new cards and Rafayel's student photoshoot event really had me thinking of how seriously the LADS men would take roleplaying– and that spawned a whole different drabble idea, so you can definitely look forward to that!
I'm trying to come up with new ways to do my drabbles, so that's why I did a little prelude before I started writing for the guys. Please let me know any feedback yall have for me! Especially with the coloured dialogue, I'm not too sure if I like it, but it seems really pretty and probably makes it easier to tell who is talking apart. (I won't use it for my fic though, only the drabbles!)
Anyway, I have a small personal project I'm working on this weekend so I probably won't be able to write any chapters for my 'Divisa' fic, but I'm still going to post chapter nineteen of 'Twist of Fate' and try to write at least two more chapters since I'm only on twenty-three or so.
I hope you all enjoyed these drabbles and I hope yall have a great night/day! 🩷

reidsplaining - spencer reid x sharpshooter!reader
"Do you not get bothered when Reid starts explaining things to you?"
"No." You tilt your head, looking up from your drink. "I'm one of the newest members of the team. Obviously I'd need a little help every now and then."
"Now and then?" Emily raises a brow. "You let him talk as much as he wants. You're not exactly incapable either."
"I like it." You roll your bottom lip between your teeth, pursing your lips. "Besides, what he does in reidsplaining, he makes up for when he has to sit through all that shooting practice with me."
"Reidsplaining..." Garcia mumbles. "Is that what you call it?"
"Yeah." You laugh. "Sounds slightly better than mansplaining. The difference is that Spencer never means it to sound demeaning. He's just a D1 talker."
"Well, a perfect match." JJ hums.
"Did you know D1 comes from the National Collegiate Athletic Association? Division one used to be University Division, because the original splits were University Divison and College division. The NCAA changed it to division one, two, and three in 1973. It was mainly to split the college division into two. Numbers made it easier to keep track of." Spencer tilts his head as you beam at him. "Hey."
"Well, hello, my D1 encyclopedia." You laugh, hand reaching for his arm as you give him a squeeze. "I missed youuuu."
Spencer rests a hand on yours, squeezing. "I'm here to pick you up. How much did you drink?"
You tilt your head, holding up a three with a wink.
"Shots?" He pauses. "Puts you around... .09%."
You get up, nodding at the girls. "Will you guys be alright? I can drive you all back."
"You drank—"
"Nooooo I'm soberrrrr." You drawl, wrapping your arms around Spencer's neck.
"We'll be fine." JJ waves her hand. "Stay safe, you two lovebirds."
You wave bye as you leave the bar, blowing on your hands when you finally get outside.
"Here." He hands you a hand warmer, and your lips curl up teasingly.
"Oh, you love me."
"Sure do." He hums. "How much did you actually drink?"
"I've been nursing the same whiskey for the last two hours. It was too watery by the time that I texted you." You pout. "My BAC is nowhere near .09. Three shots would put me at that. One whiskey that's more water than alcohol would not be that much."
"You're sober. I know you are. You don't slur your speech when drunk." Spencer raises a brow, taking your hand.
"And what do I do?"
"You start trying to jump me."
You laugh, cheeks warm with your laughter as he tugs you along under the stars.
"No way."
"Check our security footage."
You huff. "Does that mean I only ever love you when I'm drunk?"
"Oh, honey, no." He mumbles, squeezing your hand. "You love me all the time."
"That, I do." You stick your tongue out.

ONE SHOT: THE BEST MEDICINE
paige x azzi
word count: 5.6k
A/N: This is just a cute little fluffy prompt that a few people have given me. Didn’t want to not post this weekend. Let me know what you think 🫶🏼
—————————————————————————
Azzi groaned as the sharp vibration of her phone rattled against her nightstand. Squinting at the bright screen, she barely registered Jana’s name before answering, her voice thick from sleep.
“Hello?”
Jana didn’t waste any time. “Your girlfriend is sick, and I swear I’m about to strangle her in two seconds.”
Azzi blinked, still groggy. “What?”
Jana sighed dramatically and Azzi can hear Paige coughing in the back. “She’s miserable but refusing to go back to bed or take medicine, snapping at everyone like it’s our fault she’s dying of the flu.”
Azzi chuckled, rubbing her face as she sat up. “Alright, tell her I’ll be there soon.”
“She better listen to you or we’re going to be in the portal for another point guard ,” Jana muttered before hanging up.
Shaking her head, Azzi threw off the blankets and got up to brush her teeth. She knew Paige could be the worst patient—stubborn, usually restless, and convinced she didn’t need help.
…
Azzi balanced the bag of soup in one hand and the medicine in the other as she pushed open the door to Paige’s suite. The room was dimly lit, and on the couch, curled up in a ball under a thick hoodie, was her very miserable-looking girlfriend. Paige’s nose was red, her eyes were glassy, and even from a distance, Azzi could hear the slight congestion in her breathing.
Azzi pouted dramatically as she stepped inside. “Hi, sickie.”
Paige barely lifted her head, her voice raspy as she mumbled, “I’m not sick.”
As if on cue, she let out a deep cough from her chest that sounded painful.
Azzi raised an eyebrow completely unconvinced. “Right.” She set the soup and medicine down on the table before walking over, reaching for Paige’s hand. “Come on, you need to be in bed, it's too cold out here.”
But Paige didn’t budge. Instead, she burrowed deeper into her hoodie, mumbling, “Too cold to get up.”
Azzi sighed, tilting her head at her girlfriend. “Paige.”
Silence. No movement. Just Paige pretending she hadn’t heard her.
Azzi huffed. “Alright, fine.” She reached for the bottle of medicine, twisting off the cap. “At least take this—”
Before she could finish, Paige suddenly shot up from the couch, the blanket slipping off of her and falling on the floor in the process. “Nope. Not taking that shit.” Her hoarse voice carried pure disdain as she turned and made a beeline for her room.
Azzi blinked, momentarily stunned at the speed of her popping up, before bursting into laughter. “Oh, now you have the energy to move?”
Shaking her head, she grabbed the soup and the rest of the medicine, trailing after Paige. As she stepped into the room, she kicked the door shut softly behind her, amusement still dancing in her eyes.
Azzi turned to find Paige completely cocooned under her blankets, only her head visible, her red nose and glassy eyes making her look even more pitiful. Azzi bit back a laugh knowing how sensitive Paige got when she was sick. She simply shook her head as she sat on the edge of the bed.
“Come on, baby,” she coaxed, holding up the small bottle of medicine. “This is the only one that’s liquid. The rest are pills.”
Paige’s lips turned down into a deep pout. “No… it’s not tasty.”
Azzi snorted, unscrewing the cap. “It’s not going to be tasty, Paige. It’s medicine.”
Paige shook her head stubbornly, burrowing further into the covers. “Then I don’t want it.”
Azzi groaned, tilting her head back. “Paige, please.”
Paige hummed in response, her eyes closing dramatically, as if that would make the conversation go away.
Azzi exhaled through her nose, giving her a look. “Please, baby. You’re not gonna feel better if you don’t take it.”
“I am fine,” Paige mumbled, voice muffled by the blanket.
Azzi arched an eyebrow. “Really? ‘Cause you sound like you swallowed a cheese grater for breakfast.”
Paige cracked one eye open to glare at her. “Wow. That’s rude. You’re mean.”
Azzi smiled. “I’m just saying. You sound worse than you did in the background of the phone. And the coughing? Baby, it’s awful.”
Paige groaned, turning her face into the pillow like a child refusing to eat their vegetables. “I don’t wanna,” she whined, her voice hoarse.
Azzi softened, rubbing Paige’s back over the blanket. “I know, but you have to. Just one little sip, and I promise I’ll stop bugging you about it.”
Paige peeked up at her. “No, you won’t.”
Azzi grinned. “Okay, maybe not. But I’ll be really nice while I bug you.”
Paige narrowed her eyes, debating. Then, in a last-ditch effort, she tried a different approach. “What if I just sleep it off? I’ll feel better when I wake up.”
Azzi gave her a flat look. “You said that last night, and now you’re actually sick.”
Paige huffed. “It’s ‘cause y’all stressed me out when we were getting on the plane.”
Azzi laughed. “Oh, it’s our fault you’re sick now?”
“Yes,” Paige said decisively, crossing her arms under the blanket.
Azzi sighed, shaking her head. “You are so dramatic when you’re sick it’s actually insane.”
Paige just blinked up at her, silently. Stubborn.
Azzi finally pulled out her wild card, her voice turning more serious. “You know if you don’t get ahead of this, you’re gonna miss a game.”
That got Paige’s attention. She stilled, her brows furrowing as she stared at Azzi. “…What?”
Azzi shrugged. “If you don’t rest and actually take something, this’ll linger. And you know Geno isn’t letting you on the court if you’re anything close to this tomorrow.”
Paige opened her mouth like she wanted to argue, but no words came out. She knew Azzi was right.
A long, begrudging sigh left her lips. “…Fine,” she muttered, rolling onto her back like she’d just been handed a life sentence.
Azzi grinned, quickly pouring the medicine before Paige could change her mind. “See? Agreeing wasn’t so hard.”
Paige scowled. “I hate you.”
Azzi held the medicine out to her with a smirk. “I you too, sickie.”
Paige rolled her eyes but threw back the medicine quickly, making a dramatic face as she swallowed. She handed the little cup back to Azzi, shuddering. “That was disgusting.”
Azzi sat the cup aside, shaking her head. “You’re dramatic.”
She messed around with the rest of the medicine for a moment before handing Paige two pills along with the water bottle from her dresser. Paige took them with much less resistance, swallowing them with ease.
Azzi smiled. “Good girl.”
Paige shot her a glare. “Don’t.”
Azzi smirked but ignored her, moving to the bag she brought with her. “I got you soup.”
At this, Paige’s attention turned toward Azzi’s movements, watching as she pulled out the container and tried to hand it to her. But instead of taking it, Paige mumbled, “Can you feed me?”
Azzi gave her a look. “Your arms still work.”
Paige pouted dramatically. “You have to be nice to me. I’m sick.”
Azzi raised her eyebrows, amused. “Oh, so you admit it now?”
Paige sighed, sinking further into the blanket with a pout. “Only if it’ll get you to feed me.”
Azzi groaned but still got up to grab a spoon. “You’re so lucky I kinda like you.”
Paige grinned triumphantly, sitting up a little and scooting over to make room for Azzi on the bed. Azzi shook her head as she sat beside her, opening the soup container.
“Alright, big head. Open up,” she teased, holding up the spoon.
Paige just smirked. “See? Was being nice so hard? No hurry, I’m starving.”
Azzi shot Paige a look, and just like that, Paige’s smirk disappeared. She sat up a little straighter as Azzi lifted the spoon to her lips.
As soon as the soup touched her tongue, Paige flinched, mumbling, “Too hot.”
Azzi sighed, pulling the spoon back. “Maybe if you weren’t rushing me—”
“I’m starving!” Paige interrupted, slumping back into the pillows.
Azzi rolled her eyes but blew on the next spoonful before holding it out. “Better?”
Paige took the bite, nodding in satisfaction. “Mhm. See? This is what good girlfriends do.”
Azzi snorted. “Oh, so now I’m a good girlfriend?”
Paige batted her eyelashes. “The best.”
Azzi chuckled, scooping up another spoonful and blowing on it again. “Uh-huh. You’re just saying that ‘cause I’m feeding you.”
Paige grinned lazily. “And it’s working.”
Azzi shook her head, amused, as she carefully fed Paige another bite. “You are so spoiled.”
Paige hummed contentedly. “I sure am.”
Azzi gave her a look. “And if I weren’t here?”
Paige blinked at her innocently. “Jana.”
Azzi nearly choked on a laugh. “Jana said she was about to strangle you.”
Paige shrugged. “She doesn’t mean that. She s me.”
“Oh, she definitely meant it.”
Paige stuck her tongue out before lazily leaning against Azzi’s shoulder. “Mmm, don’t want anymore.”
Azzi glanced at the half-full container. “You barely ate anything.”
Paige sighed dramatically. “That’s all my body can handle.”
Azzi gave her a flat look. “Paige.”
Paige nuzzled further into Azzi’s side, her voice growing sleepier. “Mmm. Just wanna lay here with you.”
Azzi sighed, setting the soup aside. “You’re lucky I you.”
Paige smiled as she whispered, “I know. Super lucky.”
Azzi set the soup container on the dresser and gave Paige a soft smile as she reached for the hem of her shirt, pulling it off and tossing it aside. She knew Paige always liked to feel her skin when she was sick—said it brought comfort.
Paige, already settled on the bed, instinctively shifted closer, her body curling against Azzi's side as Azzi laid down. Without hesitation, Paige pressed her cheek to Azzi’s chest, content with the warmth. Azzi wrapped an arm around her, running her fingers gently through Paige’s messy hair.
The room fell into a peaceful silence for a while, broken only by the soft rhythm of their breathing. Azzi’s fingers moved lazily, threading through Paige’s hair as she murmured, “You always like it when I do this, huh? You close your big mouth every time.”
“Mmm-hmm,” Paige hummed lazily, her voice muffled against Azzi’s skin. “It’s... soothing.”
Azzi smiled, the warmth in her chest deepening. “It’s a nice change of pace from you being so dramatic.”
Paige let out a little whine, shifting to nestle further into Azzi’s chest. “I’m not dramatic. I just feel crappy.”
Azzi laughed quietly. “Baby you’re the drama queen of our relationship. I’ve had to deal with that for a while now. Not just when you’re sick.”
Paige lifted her head slightly to send Azzi a sleepy, half-lidded glare. “You still like me anyway so,” she muttered, but there was a smile tugging at her lips despite the exhaustion in her voice.
Azzi chuckled, running her fingers down the back of Paige’s neck. “I do, I do. But I swear, every time you get sick, you act like you’re dying or somebody killed our dog .”
Paige pouted, clearly not having the energy for a witty retort. “I might be dying,” she grumbled softly. “You never know with these things...”
Azzi rolled her eyes, shifting so that Paige was more comfortably nestled against her. “You’re not dying. You just need to rest and maybe close your mouth for once.”
Paige sighed, her breath soft against Azzi’s skin. “I hate being sick. I just wanna feel better already.”
Azzi smiled down at her, pressing a kiss to the top of her head. “I know, baby. But you’re going to get better.”
Paige stayed silent for a few moments, just breathing in the comfort of Azzi’s warmth, her eyelids fluttering. After a while, she mumbled, “You’re nice to me when I’m sick.”
Azzi raised an eyebrow, smirking playfully. “I’m always nice to you.”
Paige shook her head, burrowing her face further into Azzi’s chest. “No... not always,” she murmured, clearly fighting sleep. “Sometimes you’re mean.”
Azzi laughed softly, a sound filled with the kind of affection she only had for Paige. “Am I? How so?”
Paige’s voice was so quiet now, almost a whisper. “You make fun of me when I’m weak...”
Azzi paused, her smile softening. She ran her fingers through Paige’s hair, feeling the weight of the words sink in. “You’re not weak, Paige. You’re just... human. And I love you no matter what.”
Paige let out a small, content sigh, the fight to stay awake slipping away. “I love you too.”
Azzi’s heart melted at the softness in Paige’s words. She leaned down, pressing a gentle kiss to Paige’s forehead. “I know beautiful.”
Paige shifted slightly, eyes fluttering open for a second. “I don’t want to talk anymore,” she said, her words a little slurred from drowsy medicine. “I’m just... sleepy.”
Azzi smiled fondly at her. “You’re so cute when you’re delirious.”
Paige gave a half-hearted protest, but it was obvious her energy was spent. “I’m not delirious... I’m just...” She trailed off, her words losing meaning as her eyes began to drift shut again.
Azzi smirked, brushing a stray strand of hair from Paige’s face. “Just what?” she teased softly, though she knew Paige wasn’t going to respond with anything of value.
Paige’s voice, now more muffled as she nuzzled into Azzi’s chest, barely made it out. “I’m just... not sick anymore... after a nap.”
Azzi chuckled quietly, stroking Paige’s hair again. “Yeah, right.”
Paige’s breathing had slowed to a peaceful rhythm, and Azzi could feel the weight of her body relax further. Azzi held her closer, whispering, “Get some rest, baby. I’m right here.”
Paige let out a tiny, satisfied sound, and her body finally stilled in the comfort of Azzi’s embrace.
Azzi massaged her head for a few more minutes, watching Paige’s steady breathing, the soft rise and fall of her chest. She kissed the top of Paige’s head once more and whispered, “I love you.”
A soft snore was the only response, and Azzi smiled softly as she closed her eyes.
…
Azzi had been lying there awake for a while, absentmindedly running her fingers through Paige’s hair as she slept. It was now pretty late in the day and the room was quiet except for the soft hum of the heater and the occasional rustle of the blankets as Paige shifted against her. At first, Azzi thought nothing of how much she was moving—Paige had been exhausted, and it was normal for her to move a little in her sleep.
But as time passed, Azzi started to notice something was off. Paige was shifting more, her breathing had grown uneven. Her forehead lying on Azzi’s chest, which had been warm before, was now burning up.
Azzi furrowed her brows, brushing her fingers across Paige’s damp hairline. Paige was practically sweating through her shirt, her skin sticky with heat. Azzi tried soothing her again, running gentle fingers through Paige’s hair, whispering softly.
“Shh, baby, it’s okay. Just relax.”
For a moment, Paige stilled, melting back into Azzi’s chest. But soon enough, she started shifting again, her face scrunching up in discomfort, her body restless.
Azzi let out a quiet sigh, brushing the damp strands of hair away from Paige’s forehead before leaning down to press a soft kiss against it. “You’re burning up,” she murmured.
Paige let out a small whimper in her sleep, turning her head slightly, but she didn’t wake.
Azzi frowned, rubbing a soothing hand up and down Paige’s back before finally deciding it was time to wake her up. She tightened her arm around Paige slightly and nudged her gently. “Paige, baby, wake up.”
Paige groaned in protest, her body still heavy.
Azzi kissed her temple before whispering again, this time a little firmer. “Come on, sickie. You’re overheating.”
Paige mumbled something incoherent, her voice thick with exhaustion, but Azzi could feel how warm she was. She needed to cool her down.
Azzi sighed, rubbing small circles into Paige’s damp back under the hoodie. “Paige. Wake up for me please, baby.”
This time, Paige stirred a little more, blinking sluggishly as she let out a tired, hoarse sound. “Mm... wha’?”
Azzi brushed a hand across her cheek, feeling the heat radiating off her skin. “You’re too hot, love. You need to take off your hoodie and drink some water.”
Paige groaned, burying her face back into Azzi’s chest like a stubborn child. “Don’t wanna baby,” she murmured with her raspy voice before letting out some awful sounding coughs.
Azzi let out a soft laugh despite her concern. “I know, baby, but you’re basically cooking in this hoodie.” She nudged Paige’s shoulder lightly. “Come on, let’s get it off, and I’ll grab you some cold water.”
Paige made another sleepy, reluctant sound but finally, slowly, peeled herself away from Azzi’s chest that was a little damp from where Paige was laying. She blinked at her through heavy, glassy eyes before weakly lifting her arms. “You do it please.”
Azzi chuckled, shaking her head as she sat up slightly, carefully tugging the hoodie and shirt over Paige’s head. It was damp from her sweat, which only made Azzi more certain that Paige needed to cool off.
“There,” Azzi murmured, balling up the hoodie and tossing it to the floor before reaching for the water bottle on the nightstand. She unscrewed the cap and held it out. “Drink some.”
Paige took the bottle with sluggish movements, taking a few small sips before sighing and leaning back against Azzi’s chest. “Still hot,” she mumbled.
Azzi smirked, pressing a kiss to Paige’s temple. “Yeah, you are.”
Paige let out a weak laugh, swatting lazily at Azzi’s arm. “Shut up.”
Azzi smirked, brushing her fingers along Paige’s warm cheek. “Do you wanna shower?” she asked gently.
Paige let out a sleepy hum in response, her eyes barely open.
Azzi took that as a yes, pressing a soft kiss to Paige’s temple before murmuring, “Okay, just lay down for a little longer. I’ll get everything ready.”
As she slid out of bed, Paige immediately curled back into the blankets, making herself small against the pillows. Azzi shook her head fondly before heading to the dresser, pulling out a pair of soft boxers and one of Paige’s favorite shirts for her to wear after the shower.
With the clothes in hand, she made her way out of the room, only to be met by Aubrey lingering near the hallway.
“Are you almost done playing nurse?” Aubrey said her arms crossed as she leaned against the wall. “I miss my bookie and I need a hug.”
Azzi rolled her eyes as she passed by. “I’ll kick your knee in Aubrey.”
Aubrey snorted, shaking her head as Azzi disappeared into the bathroom.
Once inside, Azzi set the clothes down and turned on the shower, letting the water heat up. She reached for a eucalyptus shower steamer, unwrapping it before placing it under the stream, watching as it started to dissolve, releasing its scent into the air. The steam quickly filled the bathroom, curling into the air as the eucalyptus aroma spread.
Satisfied with the setup, Azzi grabbed a fresh towel and hung it within reach before heading back to Paige’s room.
She stopped in the doorway, biting back a laugh when she saw Paige had fallen asleep again. She was sprawled out on the bed, her head barely peeking from the blankets, looking utterly exhausted.
Azzi sighed, shaking her head as she pulled out her phone. She took a quick picture, a smirk tugging at her lips. Paige is definitely going to kill her for that later.
Throwing her phone on the dresser, she stepped forward and gently brushed a few damp strands of hair from Paige’s forehead.
“Paige, baby, wake up,” she murmured softly.
Paige stirred, her nose scrunching up as she let out a sleepy groan. “Five more minutes please,” she mumbled.”
Azzi chuckled, brushing her thumb across Paige’s warm cheek. “You literally just agreed to shower. Don’t start backtracking now.”
Paige sighed dramatically but slowly blinked up at her, her blue glassy eyes still heavy. “Mmm, but I was so comfy.”
Azzi grinned, pressing a kiss to her temple. “I know, baby, but you’re all sweaty. You’ll feel better after, I promise.”
Paige pouted but didn’t argue this time, instead letting Azzi help her sit up. As soon as she was upright, she let her head fall onto Azzi’s shoulder with a quiet sigh.
“You’re too good to me,” she murmured.
Azzi smiled, her hand rubbing slow, gentle circles along Paige’s back. “Yeah, yeah. Now come on, before you fall asleep again.”
Paige hummed in response but allowed Azzi to help her up, leaning into her warmth as they made their way to the bathroom together.
Azzi leaned against the sink, arms crossed as she watched Paige sluggishly step into the shower. The steam curled around her, and for a second, Paige just stood under the spray, her shoulders sagging in relief.
But then she turned, blinking at Azzi before sticking out her bottom lip in a pout.
“Come in with me.”
Azzi raised an eyebrow. “This shower’s supposed to be for you.”
Paige pouted deeper, her glassy eyes now wide as she leaned against the shower wall dramatically. “M’ too weak. I can’t. I need help,” she said while attempting her best puppy dog eyes.
Azzi scoffed. “Nice try, baby—”
Paige sniffled, her lip trembling slightly as she kept her gaze locked on Azzi. With her damp hair sticking to her forehead and her flushed cheeks, she somehow looked even more pitiful than Azzi thought was possible.
Azzi groaned, already feeling herself cave. “You are so damn manipulative.”
Paige only blinked innocently.
Sighing in defeat, Azzi shook her head. “Fine, fine.” She tugged off her clothes, grabbing a hair tie from the counter and quickly twisting her hair up into a bun. “But I swear, if you try anything, I’m leaving you in here.”
Paige barely reacted, her arms already reaching for Azzi as she stepped in.
The second Azzi was in the shower fully, Paige latched onto her, her arms winding tight around Azzi’s waist as she buried her face in her neck.
Azzi huffed a laugh, wrapping her arms loosely around Paige in return. “How am I supposed to help you if you’re latched onto me like this?”
Paige mumbled something against her shoulder, her voice barely audible over the water.
Azzi sighed, rubbing a slow hand up and down Paige’s back. “What was that?”
Paige nuzzled closer, her breath warm against Azzi’s skin. “Just five minutes,” she mumbled sleepily.
Azzi shook her head with a small smile, resting her cheek against the top of Paige’s damp hair. “Whatever.”
Paige’s “five minutes” had turned into something much longer, and Azzi was almost certain she had dozed off for a moment. At one point her breathing had slowed, and she even swayed slightly, forcing Azzi to tighten her hold to keep her upright.
Eventually, Azzi sighed, pressing a kiss to Paige’s damp forehead. “Alright, sickie, time to actually shower.”
Paige groaned, not lifting her head from Azzi’s shoulder. “M’tired.”
Azzi laughed softly. “Yeah, I noticed.” She reached for the shampoo, squeezing some into her hands before gently lathering it into Paige’s hair. Paige hummed at the sensation, her body still slack against Azzi’s.
“Y’know,” Azzi started, working the shampoo through Paige’s blonde hair, “I think you might be the neediest sick person on earth.”
Paige, eyes still closed, barely reacted. “Not true.”
Azzi chuckled. “You literally manipulated me into showering with you.”
Paige cracked one eye open. “I was using my resources.”
Azzi snorted, shaking her head as she scrubbed her fingers along Paige’s scalp. “You’re unreal.”
Paige let out a quiet sigh, tilting her head slightly into Azzi’s touch. “Feels nice.”
Azzi smiled softly, her fingers slowing as she massaged gently. “Good.”
For a few minutes, they stayed like that, talking in quiet murmurs as Azzi washed Paige’s hair. But when Azzi reached for the showerhead to rinse, she suddenly burst out laughing.
Paige frowned, eyes barely open. “What?”
Azzi pointed. “Your nose is running. You look so cute.”
Paige blinked, reaching up sluggishly to swipe at it. She let out a dramatic whine, turning her face into Azzi’s shoulder. “Stop laughing at me. You’re being mean.”
Azzi, still chuckling, rubbed soothing circles on Paige’s back. “I’m literally washing your hair. How am I being mean?”
Paige huffed, but she didn’t argue, her arms tightening around Azzi’s waist.
Once Azzi finished rinsing Paige’s hair, she repeated the process with the conditioner, her fingers gliding gently through the strands. Paige, still half-asleep, barely moved, only murmuring a quiet “thank you” as Azzi worked.
When her hair was fully washed, Azzi grabbed the loofah, squeezing some soap onto it before handing it to Paige. “Alright, drama queen, last step.”
Paige took it with both hands, blinking at it as if it weighed a hundred pounds and Azzi was asking her to do the impossible. Azzi smiled as she watched Paige sluggishly drag it across her arm, her movements slow and lazy.
Shaking her head fondly, Azzi leaned against the shower wall, watching Paige struggle through her own shower routine. “You’re adorable.”
Paige shot her a tired glare, but it held no real heat. “M’not. I’m sexy.”
Azzi grinned. “You sure are, baby.”
Paige rolled her eyes weakly as she continued to wash herself.
As soon as they stepped out of the shower a bit later, Paige grabbed a towel, rubbing it over her damp skin before letting out a pitiful sigh. “Baby…”
Azzi, already drying off, glanced over. “What?”
Paige’s bottom lip jutted out just a little. “Lotion me.”
Azzi scoffed, shaking her head as she reached for the bottle even as she said, “No.”
Paige grinned, completely unbothered. “You will because you love me.”
Azzi muttered something under her breath as she squirted lotion into her hands, rubbing them together before kneeling in front of Paige. “Alright, princess, hold still.”
Paige hummed happily, choosing to ignore the nickname, as Azzi smoothed the lotion over her legs, then up her arms and shoulders. When Azzi got to her back, she let out a small sigh, enjoying the feeling of Azzi’s hands working gently against her skin.
Azzi, however, was mumbling the whole time. “You’re so lucky I swear. What kind of grown woman begs to be lotioned?”
Paige, grinning, tilted her head back dramatically. “A very smart one.”
Azzi rolled her eyes but continued, making sure Paige was moisturized before finally stepping back. “There. Happy?”
Paige smiled, grabbing her boxers and shirt. “Very.”
As she pulled her clothes on, she reached for the towel, handing it to Azzi. “Here. Since someone forgot to bring clothes in here.”
Azzi snatched the towel with narrowed eyes. “Someone was too busy taking care of their needy girlfriend and I was even supposed to get in with you.”
Paige just shot her a smug look before walking out of the bathroom.
Azzi followed, wrapping the towel around herself as they made their way back to the room. As soon as they stepped inside, Paige flopped onto the bed, lazily watching as Azzi grabbed her own lotion and began rubbing it onto her arms and legs.
A slow smirk spread across Paige’s lips. “Damn.”
Azzi raised a brow. “What?”
Paige’s eyes flickered over her, gaze appreciative. “You just look good doing that.”
Azzi huffed, shaking her head as she continued. “You’re ridiculous.”
Paige grinned. “Just being honest.”
Azzi ignored her, finishing up before slipping on some clothes. But as soon as she was dressed, she made her way to the nightstand, grabbing the medicine with a smug grin.
Paige’s smile immediately dropped.
Azzi turned, shaking the bottle with a huge smile. “Time for round two.”
Paige groaned, flopping back onto the bed dramatically. “I hate you.”
Azzi smirked, walking over. “No, you don’t.”
Paige peeked her eyes open, already pouting. “I do right now.”
Azzi chuckled to herself shaking her head at the dramatic groan that left Paige’s lips.
"You act like I’m torturing you," Azzi teased, shaking the little measuring cup as she poured the thick liquid into it.
Paige turned her head away stubbornly. "I don’t want it."
Azzi sighed, tilting her head. "Paige Madison."
At the sound of her full name, Paige let out a loud huff, reluctantly sitting up just enough to take the tiny cup from Azzi’s hands. She threw it back quickly, grimacing as she swallowed, before thrusting the empty cup back at Azzi with a deep scowl.
Azzi smiled sweetly. "Thank you."
Paige narrowed her eyes. "I hate you."
Azzi only grinned wider, unfazed. "No, you don’t."
Paige huffed again but didn’t argue, slumping back against the pillows.
Azzi brushed a few strands of hair out of Paige’s face before softly asking, "Are you hungry?"
Paige barely opened one eye, her face still scrunched up from the medicine. "No."
Azzi exhaled, tapping her fingers gently against Paige’s shoulder. "Can you try to eat something for me?"
Paige groaned, shaking her head as she clung to Azzi’s arm. "Don’t wanna. Just wanna cuddle."
Azzi sighed in defeat, but there was a fond smile on her lips. "Okay, pretty," she murmured, reaching for the two pills she had set aside. She handed them to Paige, along with a water bottle. "At least take these first."
Paige wordlessly took the pills, swallowing them with a sip of water before tossing the bottle aside and immediately grabbing at the hem of Azzi’s shirt. She tugged insistently, mumbling, "Off."
Azzi raised an eyebrow but didn’t fight it, pulling her shirt over her head and tossing it to the side. As soon as the fabric was gone, Paige wasted no time in curling up against her, pressing her cheek against Azzi’s bare skin with a content sigh.
"You’re so needy when you’re sick," Azzi teased, wrapping an arm around Paige’s waist.
"Sshh. M’ comfy," Paige murmured sleepily, nuzzling closer.
Azzi ran her fingers through Paige’s damp hair, letting the quiet settle between them. After a few moments, she softly said, "You know, if you ate something, you’d probably feel better faster."
Paige whined into her chest, shaking her head. "Don’t wanna."
Azzi smirked. "You’re impossible."
Paige’s lips barely curled into a small, tired smile. "You still like me so I don’t care."
Azzi pressed a kiss to the top of Paige’s head, her voice softer now. "Yeah, I do."
Paige hummed in satisfaction, her breathing growing heavier as Azzi’s fingers continued threading through her hair. The rise and fall of her chest slowed, her words becoming more incoherent.
Azzi smiled when Paige mumbled something almost too softly to hear. "What was that, baby?"
Paige barely lifted her head, her voice barely above a whisper. "I said… you smell nice."
Azzi let out a small laugh. "Thank you."
Paige lifted her head slightly, her heavy-lidded eyes flickering to Azzi’s lips. Azzi immediately caught on, already knowing what Paige was about to ask before she even said it.
"I wanna kiss," Paige murmured, her voice still raspy from being sick.
Azzi sighed, shaking her head. "I’m gonna get sick, baby."
Paige pouted dramatically. "I’ll take care of you."
Azzi snorted, giving her an unimpressed look. "You can’t even take care of yourself right now."
Paige huffed, her lips twitching slightly. "Well, with you, it’s different."
Azzi rolled her eyes, but the small smile on Paige’s face made it impossible for her to say no. She sighed in defeat. "Fine, commere.”
Paige’s grin widened just before Azzi leaned in, capturing her lips in a soft kiss. It was gentle, lingering just long enough for Paige to let out a small, content sigh against her mouth.
When Azzi pulled back, Paige was already giving her a goofy, smile. "One more," she mumbled.
Azzi shook her head but indulged her anyway, meeting her lips again. This time, Paige took it a step further, sliding her tongue past Azzi’s lips in a way that made Azzi swear she wanted to kill her.
"You’re unbelievable," Azzi mumbled against her lips, but she didn’t pull away—not until she actually needed air. When she finally did, she groaned, dropping her forehead against Paige’s. "I’m definitely going to be sick now."
Paige only smiled, looking far too pleased with herself. "Worth it."
Azzi scoffed, but before she could say anything, Paige was already tugging her into a laying position, wrapping herself around Azzi as she rested her head on her chest.
Azzi sighed, threading her fingers through Paige’s hair again. "You’re such a pain in my ass."
…
The soft glow of the TV flickered across the room as the basketball game played on, the commentators’ voices blending into a low hum. Paige had insisted they watch, using her sickness as an excuse to get her way. Azzi, of course, had relented—because there was no winning against a sick and pouty Paige.
But after some time, Azzi noticed Paige’s breathing was slowing, her body growing heavier against her own. A telltale sign that she was drifting off.
Azzi glanced down, smiling as she saw Paige’s eyes fluttering closed, her lips slightly parted in sleep. Shaking her head fondly, Azzi reached for the remote, turning off the TV. She pressed a lingering kiss to Paige’s forehead, mumbling, “Goodnight, sickie.”
From the depths of sleep, Paige barely mumbled, “M’not sick.”
Azzi couldn’t help but laugh at the blatant lie. “Right,” she murmured sarcastically, closing her eyes.
Before she could fully settle, Paige weakly reached up and pinched her side—a lazy, half-hearted protest. Azzi rolled her eyes, gently swatting Paige’s hand away.
“Go to sleep big head,” she whispered.
Paige didn’t respond this time, already too far gone. Azzi sighed, wrapping her arms a little tighter around her, letting the warmth of Paige’s body lull her into sleep.
Paige, as expected, drifted off first, her breathing soft and steady against Azzi’s skin. Azzi stayed awake a little longer, listening to the peaceful rhythm of it, before finally closing her own eyes, letting sleep take her too.

Can you please do a fox where Blakey is hurt or sick and Paige and azzi take care of her
Sick - p.b & a.f
💌 Syn: P & A take care of Blakely while she is sick
»»— warnings: poly! sickness, puke, hospitals, i.v, ect..
»»— notes: the internets the one that told me the fever thing and i know the internet lies so idk if that’s all true 🤷♀️ i also got carried away writing this but i gave up on proofreading lmao
»»— word count: 3.3k
»»— pair: pazzi x gf!oc || Blakely Doe
azzi and paige both woke up to the bed being cold, which never happens as blakely is always asleep in the middle of the bed between both of them.
so as you can assume they were both equally confused and even more so when they realized it was only 5:30am, when practice wasn’t until 8am and it was a saturday so the three of them didn’t have any classes today.
not to mention - blakely is NOT a morning person! she’ll sleep until 3pm if she doesn’t have anything going on that day
so blakely not being in bed and between them where she’s supposed to be was both confusing and concerning for the two girls
“where’s rosie?” paige rasps out to azzi with her morning voice while sitting up slowly on her elbows, using the nickname her and azzi have called blakely since they met “i don’t know” azzi says confused looking around the room for any sign of blakely
“here, you lay back down, i’m gonna go find her. “ azzi says already getting up starting to walk around the bed and to the door “are you sure? i can help look” paige rasps, slowly waking up more “i got it” azzi says looking back at paige “ok, if you need me, call for me. i’ll still be awake.” paige says laying back down on the bed
azzi nods to what paige said and then walks out of paige’s dorm bedroom and down to the living room / kitchen area thinking maybe blakely just wanted a late snack…nope
azzi looked everywhere for her in the small dorm and didn’t find her girlfriend anywhere - looked everywhere except for the bathroom, which honestly should’ve been the first place she looked
azzi makes her way to the bathroom seeing the door is shut but there is no light on, making her confused even more, rightfully so - blakely’s scared of the dark
azzi knockes on the door and gets no answer back making her slowly open the door and reach her hand in to turn on the light - only to see blakely sitting on the floor in front of the toilet with her head resting on the toilet seat looking to be asleep, azzi immediately runs over to blake while yelling for paige not caring about jana and allie still being asleep
“PAIGE! COME HERE!” azzi yells while pulling blakely off of the toilet and letting b rest against her legs, while azzi holds blake there making sure she won’t fall forward and hit her head on the toilet. paige comes running in and sees blake unconscious being held up by azzis legs and azzi of course, with her few day old straightened hair tangled up with puke all in her hair and all on her
“what happened?! is she ok?” paige stresses walking closer to her two girlfriends and kneeling down next to blake “i don’t know i just found her with her head resting on the toilet seat and unconscious” azzi says starting to stress but trying to keep it underwraps
“baby hey, blakely” paige says tapping blakely’s face a few times trying to get her to wake up - which didn’t work because blakely could sleep through anything including earthquakes and tornadoes
paige and azzi both try to wake blakely up and after a few stressful minutes eventually succeeded “hi baby, can you tell us what happened?” paige asks while holding blakely’s cheek - slowly rubbing her thumb over blakely’s cheek bone
blakely doesn’t answer and instead just closes her eyes and leans her face more into paige’s hand and her body more into azzi’s touch - finding their touch comforting
“mama hey, let’s get you in the bath and then we can go to bed alright?” azzi says leaning down some to make her be closer to blakely
blakely just groans in response not wanting to move at all knowing her stomach pain is gonna come back right when she moves
paige just stands up and turns the water on for the bath and azzi starts helping blakely get her clothes off, both ignoring her groans of protest and just continuing with what they were doing
“alright a warm bath with bubbles and a bath bomb is ready for you” paige says coming back over to blakely and azzi - helping azzi into lifting blakely up gently as to not upset her stomach
paige helped blake get her pants off while azzi held her up, and then azzi helped blake get into the tub and sit down.
“i’m gonna go get her some clothes” azzi mumbles to paige watching blakely immediately put her head on the side of the tub, paige nods signaling that she heard azzi and squats down by the tub, running her hand over blakely’s back “hi baby, i’m gonna wash your hair ok? i’m gonna need you to sit up for me, just for a little bit then you can lay your head back down alright?” paige says in a low tone, knowing that when blakely’s sick she always ends up getting super bad migraines, she doesn’t know if blake has a headache right now or not as blakely’s gone non verbal, so she’s just treating it like she does have a headache just in case.
blakely still doesn’t say anything, she just slowly lifts her head up, allowing paige to wash her hair.
while paige was washing blake’s hair, azzi came back in and set a pile of clothes and a towel on the sink, she then also squated down beside paige and started rubbing blakely’s back
“how are you feeling now baby?” azzi asks lowly but getting no answer in return “mama hey” paige says pausing her scrubbing and trying to make eye contact with blake - blake eventually turning her head slowly
“how are you feeling now?” paige re asks azzi’s question, with blakely only shaking her head side to side as her answer.
“do you think you can keep down medicine?” azzi asks still rubbing blakely’s back - once again blakely just shook her head side to side as a way of saying no
“is there anything you need or want?” paige asks as she’s now rinsing the shampoo out of blakely’s hair
blakely still doesn’t talk and just shakes her head again, paige and azzi look at each other for a minute concerned as blakely has never acted like this while she’s sick - she normally just is clingy and wants attention 24/7, making them realize she’s a lot sicker then she normally gets every once in awhile.
paige and azzi help get blakely clean, dried, and dressed before azzi has blake sit on the toilet so she can braid her hair, and get it out of the way in case blakely throws up again
while azzi was doing that, paige went back to the room and started up the tv, putting it on descendants - one of blakely’s favorite movies, and grabbed 2 small trash cans putting it on either side of the bed, knowing blakely’s still gonna want to be in the middle close to both of them
“alright there we go rosie” paige can hear azzi say from the bathroom down the hall, making her set down the water bottle she had just grabbed onto the night stand, and walk towards the bathroom
“you guys done?” paige asks as she sees blakely shakily walk forward “she’s gonna brush her teeth and then we’re done” azzi says trailing behind blakely in case she loses balance
paige nods in response “i’m gonna go make some coffee, figured we’re gonna be up for a little bit” she finishes while standing up from leaning against the door frame
azzi nods showing that she heard paige but kept her attention on blake. paige then walked to the kitchen making enough coffee for her and azzi, + jana and allie if they wanted any
paige could hear azzi helping blakely back into her bedroom and was trying to hurry with the coffee - just wanting to be with both her girlfriends and be able to comfort her sick girlfriend, so while the coffee was brewing she started preparing the mugs, putting sugar, creamer, all that stuff in and then pouring the coffee and stirring it together, once the coffee was done.
she grabbed those two mugs and carefully walked to her room, seeing azzi and blakely in their normal spots, with b’s head resting on azzi’s chest both watching tiktok off of azzi’s phone
paige just walked to the bed carefully giving azzi her coffee, before getting on the bed and under the covers - moving her free arm to lay behind blakely signaling to both of them to move closer to her - which they both do obviously
once they were all comfortable, azzi pressed play on the movie, blakely letting the sound of her comfort movie lull her to sleep.
sleep didn’t last long. she was able to get an hour & 30 minutes before she woke up gagging, paige immediately sat up from talking to azzi and grabbed the trash can putting it under blakely’s mouth just in time.
azzi rubs blake’s back while paige is whispering soft nothings to blakely - wanting to comfort her as paige knows blakely hates getting sick especially in front of people including her two girlfriends that she’s known for years
“you done?” paige asks after a few minutes of blakely just catching her breath, blakely takes a minute to decide and then nods her head slowly - making paige set the trash can back on the floor and grab the water from earlier, opening it, and handing it to blakely
while she was taking a drink, azzi decided to go get the thermometer and see just how sick blakely is,
“we have to get her fever down now or take her to the hospital. it’s way to high.” azzi says after looking at the thermometer once it beeped
“how high?” paige asks already standing up to try to help “101.2 if it gets to 103 or higher she’s definitely going to the hospital - if we’re not already there. i don’t care if we get in trouble for missing practice.”
“no, no hospital” blakely groans out trying to lay back down but can’t get comfortable. paige and azzi both moved closer and started trying to help blake get more comfortable
once they were done azzi sat at the edge of her side of the bed, putting her hand on top of blakely’s “we won’t take you yet, but if your fever doesn’t go down or it gets higher, we’re gonna have to. you already have a 101 fever baby. we will both be with you, i promise. you won’t be alone ok?” azzi tries to soothingly say as she knows blakely is also petrified of hospitals
blakely doesn’t respond to her and just turns to look at paige, using her doe eyes on her knowing those are paige’s weakness “i’m sorry mama, she’s right. you’re really sick baby”
blakely just huffs and tries to turn over onto her stomach so she doesn’t have to look at them - she struggles for a little bit and paige and azzi obviously voice their opinions but, blakely eventually succeeds in rolling over all by herself
“rosie-“ azzi starts but gets cut off “no” blakely responds back, already knowing what she’s gonna say and not wanting to hear those said words. paige and azzi both make eye contact behind blakely’s back and start lip reading each other - trying to figure what to do
“alright baby, if you don’t want to end up having to go to the hospital then we need to get your fever down by a lot, so cold wet rags and ice packs or a ice bath?” paige says putting her hands on her hips - looking at her stubborn sick girlfriend “neither” blakely grumbles into the pillow
“alright i’ll get the necessities for the hospital” paige said starting to walk out of the bedroom “no hospitals!” blakely yells into the pillow “ok then cold wet rags and ice packs or a ice bath?” paige sasses back
blakely groans into the pillow which ends up in a coughing fit making azzi who’s still sitting in the same spot, start patting her back to try to help her
once she was done coughing paige walked back to the bed laying down in her spot and looking at blakely “rosie look at me” paige says putting her hand on blakely’s back and gently rubbing her lower back while azzi’s still rubbing her upper back
blakely didn’t respond in any way making paige sigh “baby”
“mama, cmon” paige says but ends up more of demanding it, blakely slowly turns her head to look at paige and immediately made eye contact with her piercing blue eyes
“we just want to help you, you know that. we wouldn’t suggest the hospital if we didn’t feel like it was necessary. your fever is at 101.2 right now ok? if we can bring it down and keep it down then we don’t have to go to the hospital but if your fever gets to 103 and up we have to go, it’s not up for discussion.” paige starts and she can see blakely about to complain and starts talking again before blakely has the chance “you know we wouldn’t leave you alone there, i know you do. we’ll be right by your side the whole time ok?” paige says in a soft voice trying to get blakely to understand how serious her fever is.
blakely doesn’t respond for a minute, just looking at paige while thinking of a decision while azzi and paige both keep rubbing her back, blakely eventually nods her head “i’ll go if needed” she grumbles out “thank you baby.” paige says leaning in and kissing the top of blakely’s head “do you want to take a ice bath or..?” azzi now asks making blakely groan into the pillow again as she didn’t learn her lesson last time
after blakely’s done with her second coughing fit paige and azzi both manually roll blakely over, so that she can actually breath and so she can’t groan into the pillow anymore
paige and azzi both just stare at blake - wanting an answer, making blakely sigh and look between both of them “rags and ice packs i guess”
paige stands up from the bed saying that she’ll be back and walks out of the bedroom going to the kitchen to get ice packs, while paige is doing that azzi gets up to get cold wet rags
it’s now been almost two hours since azzi took blakely’s temperature and that whole argument. after paige and azzi put wet rags and ice packs all over blakely’s body all three of them ended up watching more movies until they all fell asleep - 2 of them fell asleep on accident and neither of them called geno telling him what’s happening
azzi woke up before the other two and was confused before she looked at the bed and saw her two girlfriends asleep on the bed - realizing that her and paige accidentally fell asleep which was fine until she also remembered the said fact that they didn’t call geno, making her scramble to grab her phone seeing multiple missed calls and unread texts from everyone on the team
azzi quickly sent a message to geno and cd explaining everything - which is what reminded her to check blakely’s temperature
104.3
“paige! paige get up” azzi says while shaking paige making her wake up startled “what? what happened” she groaned out “blakely’s fever is to 104.3, we need to get her to a hospital now” azzi says with urgency making paige sit up and look at blake realizing how pale she looks
both paige and azzi put there crocs on and wake blakely up - that was a mistake
right when they successfully woke blake up she immediately started gagging making azzi rush to put a trash can under her mouth, paige was rubbing her back as a way to comfort blakely but it wasn’t working and blakely couldn’t stop puking
after a few minutes of non stop puking and then dry heaves, blakely was finally able to get a break and during that break azzi put blakeys slides on her and grabbed the clean trash can for the car ride to the hospital
paige carefully picked up blakely knowing that blake would be walking slow to the car and then end up puking again before they made it to the car, so she was going to carry her
blakely lays her head on paige’s shoulder while paige follows behind azzi as she’s the one opening the doors for paige to get through with blake. once they reach paige’s car paige sets blakely in the backseat with azzi sitting back there with her - holding the trash can in front on blakely while paige gets into the drivers seat and takes them to the hospital
once they made it to the hospital they were checked in and seen pretty fast, now blakely’s laying in the hospital bed with an i.v in her hand asleep while paige and azzi sit in the chairs by the hospital bed, each holding one of her hands and watching whatever shows on their hospital rooms tv
the doctor put her on some medicine but still wanted to monitor her over night so they were all going to stay the night at the hospital, paige planned on getting food and going home to get clothes and necessities once blakely woke up so she could also have a say in lunch so they were just waiting on blakely, which after a few more minutes eventually started to slowly wake up
“hey rosie” azzi said with a low voice being the first to notice her waking up, making paige look to her side to also see blakely waking up “good morning mama” paige says even though it’s the late afternoon now, blakely just groans in response - the light in the hospital room blinding her and making her headache worse
azzi seems to understand what’s wrong and gets up to turn the light off, “better?” she asks sitting down in her seat making blakely nod “how are you feeling?” paige asks rubbing her thumb over blakes knuckles “like crap” blakely rasps out before going into another coughing fit
azzi pats blakely’s back while paige holds a bucket under blake’s mouth just in case - eventually she stops coughing and the two of them continue to talk to blakely, mentioning getting stuff from home and food
it’s now the next day, blakely has been released from the hospital with instructions to rest and to take her prescribed medication and she should be good in the next 3-4 days - which paige and azzi where going to make sure blakely listened and did everything she was supposed to do
they had just gotten back to paige’s dorm and azzi was helping blakely up to paige’s room while paige was carrying their shared overnight bag, food to eat now, and a few bags of snacks and soft foods for the next few days
jana and allie were out at practice for today so it was just the three of them for right now. while azzi was helping blakely get comfortable on the bed paige was once again turning the tv onto a disney movie - this time being lemonade mouth
once the movie was on she sat down on her spot of the bed and passed the food around.
after around 25 minutes they eventually found themselves in a cuddling pile with blakely in the middle and paige and azzi hugging onto her, rubbing her stomach, playing with the ends of her hair, or gently kissing blakely’s forehead while whispering soft praises of love to her, with eventually all three of them falling asleep in each others arms
that’s how jana and allie found them 2 hours later

billie x reader with a scalp massager 😭
-weirdo💙
an: no because i fear i might melt away into a puddle of magical lovey dovey sparkleness if this ever happened.
thank you for the request love bug☺️😘
an: also pls ignore the formatting! i typed half of this on my laptop but then it died so i used my phone for the other half and now the spacing is weird. idk. the story is still there lol!!🤷♀️🩷
You sat on the couch in Billie’s studio, half-watching the soft glow of the lights reflect off her focused expression as she worked on her new song. She had her headphones on, brows furrowed in concentration as she adjusted the volume, then leaned in to tweak something on the keyboard. Watching her in her element was mesmerizing, but after a while, you started feeling a bit… ignored.
You let out an exaggerated sigh, hoping she’d hear it. No response. You stretched your legs out, tapped your fingers against the couch, and sighed again, even louder this time. Still nothing. Finally, you got up and walked over, poking her shoulder.
She pulled one ear of her headphones off, glancing up at you with a small smile. “Yes?” she asked, amusement flickering in her eyes as if she already knew what was coming.
You put on your best pout. “I’m bored,” you whined, leaning against the back of her chair. “And you’re ignoring me.”
A soft laugh escaped her, and she turned back to her computer, typing out a few more notes. “Baby, I just need a few more minutes, okay? Almost done.”
You sighed dramatically again. “But that’s what you said ten minutes agooooooooo.” You circled your arms around her shoulders from behind, resting your chin on top of her head. “Can’t I just steal you away for a little while?”
She chuckled, patting your arm. “Give me five more minutes, I promise. Then I’m all yours.”
Unconvinced, you flopped onto the couch, giving her your best puppy eyes from across the room. “What if I get lonely over here?” you called out, grinning.
Billie finally looked over, her face softening as she took in your playful pout. “Oh my gosh, you are too much,” she said, shaking her head. She turned back to her work, but you could see her struggling to hold back her smile.
You decided to up the stakes. You shuffled off the couch, tiptoeing up behind her before wrapping your arms around her shoulders again, this time leaning in to plant a quick kiss on her cheek. “How’s it going, genius?” you whispered, trying to sound innocent.
A tiny blush crept onto her cheeks. She let out a sigh, finally giving in. “You’re really not gonna let me finish, are you?”
You shook your head, grinning as you held her a little tighter. “Nope. And you love it,” you teased, pressing another kiss to her cheek.
She laughed, finally spinning her chair to face you. “Alright, you win.” She grabbed your hand, tugging you closer as she settled her hands around your waist, pulling you down onto her lap. “Attention granted, happy now?”
“Yeah,” you replied, wrapping your arms around her neck and nuzzling into her shoulder. Her hands held you close, fingers tracing gentle patterns on your back.
“My head kinda hurts tho,” you grumbled quietly, with a pout.
She tilted her head, looking at you with that familiar, loving sparkle in her eyes.
Her cheeks flushed, as she leaned in, pressing her lips softly to yours. “Alright, little attention-seeker,” she teased between kisses. “What should we do now? Why is your head bothering you?”
You hummed thoughtfully, snuggling closer. “Can we go upstairs maybe?”
Billie hummed in amusement, she knew what you wanted now. And she was fairly certain your head didn’t actually hurt. But your little pout and puppy eyes were drawing her in.
“Mkayyy, sure babygirl,” she squinted teasingly. “My poor baby, her head just hurts so bad we have to go upstairs.” She sighed out dramatically while scooping you up bridal style and headed upstairs.
You nuzzled your head into her neck further, smiling victoriously.
Once you got upstairs Billie plopped you into the bed before heading into the bathroom to grab something.
While she was gone, you got yourself comfy on the bed, tucking yourself under the mountain of blankets and fluffing the pillows to your liking, but quickly flopping back down when Billie re-entered the room. She just chuckled lowly and made her way to the bed, slipping in next to you.
She wrapped an arm around your waist and pulled you in closer so your head rested on her tummy so she had access to your scalp.
You were practically purring as Billie started moving the little scalp massager on your head. Softly and slowly, making sure not to scratch or poke you. After all your head did hurt just so badly… ;)
You nuzzled your head closer into her tummy, to where you could perfectly hear her heartbeat. You closed your eyes and let the sensation take over.
“Feels good, doesn’t it mama?” Billie chuckled at your blissed out expression, eyes half open and a sleepy smile on your lips.
“Mmm hmmm…” you mumbled, barely able to make a coherent sentence.
She pulled you a bit closer while she continued to move the massager around, hitting all the spots you needed. She knew she had been successful when your eyes had shut and your little snores actually sounded like purrs.
Slowly she removed the massager from your hair, not wanting to poke you, before snuggling in herself and joining you in sleep.
“Why’d you stop?” Your tiny voice broke the silence, making Billie giggle.
“I’m sorry my little kitty, I thought you were asleep,” she said with a chuckle, pressing a kiss to the top of your head before resuming her little scalp massage.
She smiled, pulling you close as you nestled into her warmth, a quiet laugh escaping her lips. “You’re so clingy sometimes, you know that?” she whispered, though her tone was full of affection.
You smirked, running your up and down her arm. “Yep. You love it, though.”
Billie’s arms tightened around you. “I really do,” she said softly.

𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐒𝐎𝐅𝐓 𝐇𝐔𝐌 𝐎𝐅 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐂𝐀𝐑 𝐅𝐈𝐋𝐋𝐄𝐃 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐐𝐔𝐈𝐄𝐓 𝐀𝐒 𝐉𝐎𝐄 𝐃𝐑𝐎𝐕𝐄, one hand steady on the wheel, the other resting lazily on the console between you. Hayes was securely strapped into his car seat in the back, his tiny fists waving in the air like he was orchestrating a symphony.
"You sure we’ve got everything?" Joe asked, glancing at you as you double-checked the baby bag for the third time.
"Diapers, wipes, formula, bottles, extra clothes, his favorite blanket," you listed off, zipping the bag shut with a decisive tug. "Yep, I think we’re good. Unless Hayes has something catastrophic planned, but let’s pray he doesn’t."
Joe chuckled under his breath. “He’s my kid. Odds aren’t great.”
You shot him a playful glare, leaning back in your seat. “Well, let’s hope he takes after me in the ‘not causing chaos’ department.”
The spring sun streamed through the windows, the light dancing over Joe’s profile. He wore a casual hoodie and a cap pulled low, but the little flickers of excitement in his eyes gave him away. Despite his laid-back demeanor, you knew he was looking forward to this.
It wasn’t just any gathering—it was the first time Joe’s teammates would be meeting Hayes, and Ja’Marr had insisted on hosting a little welcome-baby party at his place. You could already picture the chaos waiting for you there, with half the Bengals ready to turn a simple gathering into an impromptu celebration.
“I bet Ja’Marr has some wild decorations,” you said, watching the scenery pass outside.
“Guaranteed,” Joe replied with a smirk. “He texted me a picture of a balloon arch at like 2 a.m. last night.”
You laughed, imagining Ja’Marr staying up late to perfect the setup. “Well, at least he’s taking his duties as ‘honorary uncle’ seriously.”
The drive passed quickly, and before you knew it, Joe was pulling into Ja’Marr’s driveway, which was lined with cars and a few oversized SUVs that you recognized as belonging to other players. Sure enough, there was a massive balloon arch at the entrance, spelling out Welcome Baby Hayes! in bold, glittering letters.
“Subtle,” Joe muttered, grinning as he unbuckled his seatbelt.
You glanced back at Hayes, who was wide-eyed and babbling nonsense to his stuffed tiger. “Alright, baby boy,” you said softly. “Let’s go meet Dad’s other family.”
Joe grabbed the baby bag while you carefully lifted Hayes out of his car seat, holding him close as the two of you walked up to the door. The second you stepped inside, the noise hit—a chorus of cheers and shouts greeting you like a wave.
“There he is!”
“Joey B and Baby B!”
“Look at this little guy!”
The Bengals were in full force, a mix of giant smiles, loud voices, and open arms. Ja’Marr was the first to approach, grinning ear to ear as he took in the sight of Hayes.
“Man, he’s even smaller than I thought,” Ja’Marr said, bending down slightly to get a better look. “What’s up, little guy? I’m your Uncle Ja’Marr. You’re gonna hear a lot about me.”
Hayes blinked at him, his tiny face scrunching up like he wasn’t sure how to feel about the towering man in front of him.
“Give him some space, Chase,” Tee Higgins joked, nudging Ja’Marr aside. “You’re probably scaring the poor kid.”
“Scaring him?” Ja’Marr shot back, feigning offense. “I’m the most likable guy in the room.”
You laughed, adjusting Hayes in your arms as Joe stepped in beside you, offering nods and grins to his teammates. “He’s already used to noise, trust me,” you said.
As the party got underway, the team took turns fawning over Hayes. Sam Hubbard tried to cradle him like a football, earning a sharp “don’t even think about it” from you, while Evan McPherson made Hayes giggle with a silly face. Even the usually stoic players softened around your baby, their towering frames and booming voices taking on a gentle edge.
“He’s got your baby blues,” Tyler Boyd remarked to Joe, who had settled next to you on the couch, looking proud and a little overwhelmed by all the attention.
“Yeah,” Joe said, glancing at Hayes with a faint smile. “He’s a good mix of both of us, though.”
You smiled, leaning into Joe’s side as Hayes cooed and wiggled in your lap. It was chaos, sure, but the good kind—the kind that made you feel surrounded by love and warmth.
The party buzzed on, filled with warm chatter and soft laughter, but Joe’s focus never wavered. Hayes had become the star of the show, passed around like a delicate treasure as each of Joe’s teammates clamored for a turn to hold him.
“Alright, my turn,” Tee Higgins declared, holding out his arms.
You glanced at Joe, who was standing just a few steps away, his shoulders tense as if Hayes might suddenly sprout wings and fly out of someone’s grip.
Tee chuckled. “Relax, man. I’ve got nieces and nephews. I know what I’m doing.”
Joe hesitated, his jaw tightening before he finally nodded. “Just… make sure his head’s supported.”
“Got it, Dad,” Tee replied with a teasing grin. He carefully scooped Hayes out of your arms, holding him securely. “See? No problem.”
Joe crossed his arms, his eyes glued to Hayes like a hawk watching its prey. His lips pressed into a thin line every time Hayes wiggled or let out a tiny noise.
“You’re gonna burn a hole into Tee’s face if you keep staring like that,” you whispered to Joe, nudging him lightly.
“He’s fine,” Joe muttered, though his feet shifted as if he were ready to lunge at any moment.
Ja’Marr sidled up beside him, clapping him on the back. “Man, you’ve gotta chill. Hayes is cool. Tee’s not gonna drop him.”
“Yeah, I know,” Joe replied quickly. But his body language said otherwise, every muscle taut as he watched Tee sway gently with Hayes, making goofy faces that earned a few soft coos from the baby.
As the night went on, each teammate took their turn. Evan, with his steady kicker’s hands, rocked Hayes expertly, drawing a rare smile from Joe. Even the defensive linemen, whose hands were more accustomed to crushing quarterbacks than cradling babies, handled Hayes with surprising gentleness.
Sam leaned down to whisper something to Hayes, his voice soft but gruff. “Alright, little guy. In a few years, we’ll get you in pads, yeah?”
“Over my dead body,” Joe shot back, his voice sharp enough to draw a laugh from the room.
You couldn’t help but smile as you watched Joe. His protectiveness wasn’t new, but seeing it in action with Hayes added a new layer to the man you already loved. There was something endearing about the way he hovered, his eyes darting from one set of hands to the next, his whole demeanor a mixture of pride and quiet panic.
Finally, Ja’Marr got his turn, holding Hayes with a confidence that rivaled Joe’s own. “See? This is how you do it,” he said, rocking Hayes like a natural.
Joe didn’t respond, but his eyes stayed locked on Hayes, his lips twitching every time the baby shifted.
“Alright, alright,” Ja’Marr teased, handing Hayes back to you. “Before Joey B has a heart attack.”
Joe exhaled audibly as Hayes was safely returned to your arms. He stepped closer, his hand brushing against Hayes’s back as if to reassure himself.
“He was fine, you know,” you said softly, smiling up at him.
“I know,” Joe murmured, his hand lingering. “But he’s… I just don’t like being too far from him.”
Your heart softened at his words, and you leaned into his side, letting Hayes settle comfortably between you.
“Welcome to fatherhood,” you said with a grin.
Joe finally relaxed, his arm draping over your shoulders as he pressed a kiss to your temple. “Yeah,” he said quietly, his gaze still on Hayes. “I think I’m getting the hang of it.”

r you still open for requests? if so and if you havent done this, stan twins taking care of reader on their period? im on my period rn and i lowkey am craving for it,, /nf!!
❥ Stan & Ford taking care of you on your period headcanons <3
a/n: oh anon this one's for you and for everyone dealing with the struggle right now <333 may ur cramps be mild 🙏
STANLEY
★ “what do you mean you feel like garbage?? you were fine an hour ago! what happened?? who do I have to fight??” and when you explain, he just. OH. THAT.
★ “okay, okay, don’t freak out, but,” he digs around in some closet and pulls out a very old hot water bottle. “this thing got me through some rough winters. i hope this will, uh. . . stop the angry uterus thing.”
★ if anyone (Soos, Dipper, some poor clueless tourist) makes a dumb joke about “mood swings,” Stan will protect you. “oh, you think that’s funny? let’s see how funny it is when I lock you in the Mystery Shack bathroom for a week with no toilet paper!”
★ will not let you lift a finger. so worried about your state he physically shoves you back down if you try to do anything. “nope. nope, nuh-uh, baby, don’t even think about it.”
★ if you're dying from pain and nothing helps, he just holds you close while dramatically saying “oh sweetheart, if only nature was FAIR, it’d be me bleeding instead! why this world is so unfair????”
★ of course he buys you snacks. SO MANY SNACKS. he heard somewhere that chocolate helps, so now he’s bought four different brands of cheap chocolate bars from the gas station
“uh, i got these. one of ‘em’s gotta be the magic one, right?”
★ “old man Mcgucket says bark tea fixes everything. should we. . . should we try bark tea?”
★ once Stanley pulled out a beer and immediately regretted it. “. . . wait, no, that’s for me.”
★ ofc he cooks for you. he’s a big believer that food fixes all things, even if he doesn’t understand the science of it. makes you the heartiest, greasiest, most filling meal he can. you might not even want it but it’s the intent. it's the love. (and if you actually ask for something? he’ll make it with no hesitation)
★ you look even slightly like you’re in pain?? immediate concern. hunched over? “alright, that’s it, you’re going on the couch.” he literally herds you over with his hands on your shoulders, forces you to get comfortable. “c'mon, c'mon, up ya go. feet up. blanket on. there ya go.”
★ lovingly teases you when you cry over dumb stuff, but only a little. “you're cryin’ over a commercial? sweetie, c’mon.” wipes your tears anyway. kisses your forehead after.
★ grocery store trip. Stanley standing in the feminine hygiene aisle, he calls you from the store like, “baby, what the hell is ultra-thin? why are there WINGS on these? you gonna fly away or somethin’? :(”
★ i have a feeling he'll get the wrong ones. Stan comes home proud of himself only for you to be like Stan these are panty liners. he’s FLABBERGASTED. “they were in the same aisle!! they had the same stupid pink packaging!!”
★ eventually, he settles into his caretaking mode, ruffles your hair, makes bad jokes to make you laugh even when you feel awful. if you get emotional from the hormones he panics a little but ultimately just lets you cry on his shoulder and pats your back
★ mutters “alright, where’s it hurt, lemme at it.” then massages your lower back, rubs your stomach clumsily but gently. Stan is determined to physically get rid of your pain somehow even if that’s not how it works
★ makes you rest by putting on a movie and forcing you to stay put. he picks the weirdest mix of old action flicks, crime shows and one sappy romance he swears he doesn’t like. (he totally does.)
★ if you’re in pain he's gonna fix it. but since he can’t punch your uterus, he does the next best thing. distracts the hell outta you. "alright, sweetheart, what’s it gonna be? poker? tall tales? let's watch duck detective?”
you giggle. “Stan, just cuddle me.”
“oh, yeah, you got it, c’mere.” immediately pulls you onto his lap, wrapping his big arms around you, rocking his most precious thing in the world.
★ if you're up at 2 AM, restless from cramps, Stan notices immediately “owwh, doll, let’s getcha comfy.” guides you to the couch, sets you up with a blanket, turns on some quiet late-night TV. he stays up with you, spending sleepless night taking care of you. he sits there, rubbing your back, making sure you’re okay
in some hours more though, he falls asleep next to you, head leaning against yours
STANFORD
★ HE KNOWS BEFORE YOU DO. this man has studied interdimensional quantum phenomena. you think he hasn’t mapped out your cycle like a scientist mapping the tides???? PLEASE
“sweetheart, shouldn’t you be starting your period soon?”
“what? no?? I feel fine“ and twenty minutes later, you’re in pain
“ah. as I suspected.” Ford says
★ literally tracks it like a researcher. has a whole-ass journal with little notes. estimates symptoms, cravings, moods. he says it's because “I want to be prepared for you”.
you catch him writing in it one day. “Ford, what is that?”
he looks guilty and awkward. “a. . . documentation of your menstrual cycle?”
you take it, open it and your eyes widen. it got a whole-ass formula for predicting your moods
“wtf Ford, you made a menstrual algorithm??”
he rubs the back of his neck. “well, i wanted to ensure that i could be fully prepared for any and all symptoms—“
you’re just staring at the notes, not even listening to him. “did you seriously track that I crave sour candy more than chocolate???”
Ford pushes up his glasses. “i prefer to call it an empirical observation, yes.” next thing you do is kiss him senseless, because this nerd is the most devoted man on the planet
★ i assure you, he's already stocked up. you go to grab something and oh . . . heating pad? already plugged in. pain meds? already out on the counter. ur favorite snacks? somehow already bought. tea? brewing
★ of course! of course you'll get his lectures about periods. “did you know that menstrual cramps are caused by the uterus contracting due to prostaglandins? i read a fascinating study on ways to mitigate the pain—“ but let me tell you, he’s rambling because he’s nervous about you hurting. also because he thinks knowledge = comfort
★ his gentle hands, always. adjusting your blanket. rubbing slow circles into your back. fingertips ghosting over your forehead to check if you’re feverish
★ absolutely 100%, without a doubt, Ford takes notes on what helps you. if you ever say something like “ugh, this tea actually helps a lot” he writes that down. if you offhandedly mention “i think dark chocolate makes it better” he’s buying you ten bars of it next time.
★ he tries to keep you distracted. puts on old sci-fi movies and nerds out over them. reads aloud from a book if you want because he knows you love his voice

Birthday boy
Harry sighed as he sank into the backseat of the car, staring out at the dark city streets passing by. His heart felt heavier than it should on his birthday. He’d woken up hopeful, checking his phone first thing, only to find a single message from you.
“Happy birthday, my love💞.”
That was it. No call. No voice message. And you hadn’t responded to any of his texts since.
The lads knew something was wrong. He hadn’t been himself all day - quieter, less engaged, going through the motions during their show but not fully there. So when they tried to convince him to join them at a bar for a few drinks to celebrate, he barely put up a fight before shaking his head.
“I just wanna head back to the hotel,” he muttered.
“Mate, come on,” Louis pressed. “It’s your birthday.”
“Yeah, Haz, a couple drinks, a bit of fun - it’ll cheer you up,” Niall added, his voice laced with concern.
Harry just sighed, shaking his head again. “I’m tired, lads. Just wanna sleep.”
The four of them exchanged looks before Liam nodded in understanding. “Alright. But if you need anything, just call, yeah?”
Harry forced a small smile as they each gave him a hug before climbing into their car. He watched them drive off before getting into his own.
By the time he reached the hotel, exhaustion weighed him down, but it wasn’t the physical kind. Normally, he’d stop to greet fans, sign autographs, maybe chat with the hotel staff - but tonight, he just kept his head down, pushing through the lobby without a word. He just wanted to crawl into bed and forget how lonely today felt.
But when he pushed open the door to his suite, he froze.
There, sitting on his bed, was you.
And you weren’t just there - you were wearing his favorite black lace lingerie, smirking at him like you knew exactly what you were doing to him.
His breath hitched, his brain struggling to catch up, but instead of noticing what you were wearing, all he saw was you. He let out a breathless, disbelieving laugh before rushing forward, engulfing you in his arms.
“Oh my God,” he whispered against your hair, holding you so tight it was like he feared you’d disappear. “I missed you so much.”
You giggled as he peppered kisses across your face, your hands tangling into his curls as he murmured “Missed you, missed you, missed you,” between each kiss. It wasn’t until his lips finally reached yours that his hands started to wander - and that’s when he finally realized what you were wearing.
His eyes darkened as he pulled back, scanning you from head to toe. “Oh,” he breathed, his voice dropping.
You smirked. “Surprise.”
That night, Harry got the best birthday gift he could’ve ever asked for.
Later, as you lay tangled in the sheets, your bodies still warm from your night together, you reached over to grab a small wrapped box from the nightstand.
Harry blinked at it in confusion. “You got me something?”
You rolled your eyes with a grin. “Of course I did.”
“I thought you were my present,” he teased, pulling you closer.
You laughed, nudging the box toward him. “Just open it.”
Harry unwrapped it carefully, lifting the lid to find a sleek, gorgeous ring nestled inside. His lips parted in surprise as he picked it up, sliding it onto his finger without hesitation. It fit perfectly.
He stared at it for a long moment before looking back at you, his green eyes shining. “I love it.”
“I hoped you would.”
He kissed you again, softer this time, filled with so much love that it made your heart ache. You spent the rest of the night curled up together, watching movies, eating snacks, and stealing lazy kisses until sleep finally took you both.
The next morning, Harry woke with a start.
The bed beside him was cold.
For a moment, panic gripped his chest - had it all been a dream? Had he imagined you being here because he missed you so much?
But then the bathroom door opened, and there you were, a towel wrapped around your body, your wet hair dripping onto your shoulders.
“Morning, birthday boy,” you murmured, walking over to press a soft kiss to his lips.
Harry exhaled in relief, his arms immediately wrapping around your waist to pull you onto the bed. “You’re really here,” he mumbled against your skin.
You chuckled, carding your fingers through his curls. “Of course I am.”
And when you handed him a tray of breakfast you’d ordered earlier, he felt like the luckiest man alive.
Later that morning, you met the boys in the hotel lobby.
You were immediately met with warm hugs and cheek kisses, especially from Niall, who grinned ear to ear when he saw you.
“About time you showed up,” he teased.
You laughed. “Had to make a dramatic entrance, you know?”
Harry just held you close, his fingers absentmindedly playing with the ring on his hand. The six of you spent the day wandering through the city until you stumbled upon a gorgeous beach.
As the others ran to the water, splashing and laughing, you and Harry sat in the sand, watching them.
You took a deep breath before turning to him. “I’m staying for the rest of the tour.”
Harry’s head snapped toward you. “Wait, what?”
You nodded, smiling softly. “I figured…it doesn’t matter where I am, as long as I’m with you.”
His eyes searched yours, almost as if he didn’t believe it. “But… you don’t like traveling.”
“I don’t,” you admitted. “But I love you more than i hate traveling.”
Harry’s face broke into the biggest, brightest smile before he tackled you into the sand, kissing you breathless.
Before either of you could say anything else, a sudden splash of cold water hit Harry from behind.
He gasped loudly, whipping his head around to find Niall running back to the water, cackling loudly.
“Oh, you little-“ Harry didn’t finish his sentence before springing to his feet and sprinting toward the water.
You laughed as he ran straight into the waves, fully clothed, tackling Niall as they splashed and dunked each other under. The playful fight lasted a few minutes before Harry, still grinning, waded out of the water, his clothes dripping wet.
Then his eyes landed on you.
Before you could react, he lunged forward, scooping you up into his arms.
“Harry, no!” You shrieked, squirming in his hold. “Put me down!”
He only laughed, carrying you effortlessly toward the water.
“Harry, I swear to fucking- don’t you dare!”
But he did.
With one last smirk, he launched both of you into the water, submerging you completely. You came up spluttering, pushing your wet hair out of your face.
“You absolute-“
Before you could finish your sentence, Harry cut you off with a kiss, his arms wrapping around you, pressing you close despite the cold water.
And in that moment, soaked to the bone, standing in the ocean with him, you had never felt happier.

Superstar - Jennie Kim
pairing. idol!jennie x girlfriend!reader
synopsis. after her concert, jennie rushes backstage, still buzzing with adrenaline, and spots y/n waiting for her.
The deafening roar of the crowd still echoed in Jennie’s ears as she practically sprinted off stage, her heart pounding from the adrenaline of performing. Her lungs burned, her body was buzzing with exhaustion and exhilaration, but none of that mattered. Not when she knew exactly who was waiting for her just past the curtain.
Y/N.
Jennie barely registered the congratulatory pats on her back from the staff and her members’ laughter as she practically shoved past them. All she could think about was getting to her.
And then she saw her—leaning against a table in the backstage lounge, arms crossed, a knowing smirk on her lips. Y/N had changed out of the all-black outfit she’d worn to blend into the crowd earlier, now dressed comfortably, but Jennie thought she still looked unfairly good. Her presence alone made Jennie’s already racing heart kick up a notch.
Without a second thought, Jennie rushed forward, closing the distance between them in seconds.
Y/N barely had time to react before Jennie practically launched herself into her arms, wrapping herself around her like a koala. “I did it,” Jennie breathed against her neck, her arms tightening around Y/N’s shoulders.
Y/N chuckled, steadying them both as she hugged her back. “Of course, you did, superstar,” she murmured, her hands smoothing over Jennie’s back. “You were incredible.”
Jennie pulled back just enough to look at her, her hands coming up to frame Y/N’s face. “You watched the whole time, right?”
Y/N smirked. “Front and center. Best view in the house.”
Jennie narrowed her eyes. “Liar. You were backstage.”
Y/N shrugged, pretending to think about it. “Still a great view.”
Jennie huffed, but before she could argue, Y/N ran a thumb over her cheek, wiping away the slight sheen of sweat from her performance. The gesture was so tender that Jennie felt her breath hitch.
And then, without another word, she leaned in, pressing her lips to Y/N’s in a kiss that was desperate, urgent—like she had been holding back all night.
Y/N immediately responded, one hand sliding down to rest on Jennie’s waist, the other tangling into the ends of her hair. Jennie melted into her touch, letting herself be held, letting herself feel grounded after the whirlwind of performing in front of thousands.
When they finally pulled away, Jennie let out a breathless laugh, her forehead resting against Y/N’s. “God, I missed you.”
Y/N smiled, running a hand up and down her back. “You saw me before the show.”
Jennie pouted, her arms still wrapped around Y/N’s neck. “Not the same. I couldn’t do this before the show.”
Y/N chuckled. “Well, I’m here now. And I’m so, so proud of you.”
Jennie’s face softened, her eyes shining with something deeper than just post-performance exhaustion. She opened her mouth to say something, to tell Y/N just how much she meant to her, how having her here made every moment of the tour feel more bearable—but before she could, a loud cheer erupted from the other side of the room.
“Get a room!” Lisa’s teasing voice rang out, followed by Jisoo’s laughter and Rosé’s dramatic gagging noise.
Jennie groaned, burying her face in Y/N’s neck again. “They’re the worst,” she muttered, voice muffled against her skin.
Y/N only laughed, resting her chin on top of Jennie’s head as she held her close. “Yeah, but you love them.”
Jennie sighed dramatically, but there was no real annoyance in her tone. “Unfortunately.”
Lisa clapped her hands together. “Alright, lovebirds, as much as I love seeing Jennie act like a clingy puppy, we have a whole afterparty to get to.”
Rosé smirked. “More like Jennie has a girlfriend to get to.”
Jisoo grinned. “I give them five minutes before they sneak out.”
Jennie rolled her eyes, but she didn’t argue. Instead, she only held Y/N tighter, already dreading the moment she’d have to let go.
Y/N kissed the side of her head and whispered, “Don’t worry. I’m not going anywhere.”
Jennie smiled, feeling something warm settle in her chest. She knew, no matter how chaotic her life got, Y/N would always be there waiting for her.

Beautifully Cruel World-Chapter 18
Series Masterlist | Previous | Next
ABO Non-Idol Stray Kids Universe Poly OT8 x Reader 18+ MDNI
Warnings in the Series Masterlist as well as any other information needed
I have a question for you guys. How do you guys read Innie? Because I saw someone on TikTok read it as I.N-ie where I've always read it as in-ie, like Jeonginnie. I'm just curious as to how people read it.
Chapter 18
“Are you sure you guys don’t need any help?” Y/n asks as she watches Minho and Felix move around the kitchen making dinner.
“We’ve got it, baby.” Felix smiles at her before booping her nose causing her to scrunch it up. “Go relax a little.”
The omega sighs before turning to see where everyone else is. She knows Jisung and Jeongin are out walking in the neighborhood. She then spots Changbin standing outside the back door and walks out to join him.
“Hey pretty girl.” He smiles looking up from his phone.
“Is that your omega?” A female voice asks from his call.
“Oh, sorry Binnie.” Y/n frowns a little for interrupting his phone call. “I didn’t realize you were talking to someone.”
“It’s okay baby, it’s just my sister.” He holds his hand out for her to join him. “She’s been wanting to meet you anyways.”
She takes his hand and he brings her close to his side, wrapping an arm around her waist as she looks at the phone seeing his sister on a video call.
“Hi Y/n, it’s so good to finally meet you.” The older girl beams on the phone. “I’m Jaehee.”
“Hi.” Y/n waves shyly. “I didn’t know Changbin had an older sister.”
“That's just like him, not to mention me.” Jaehee rolls her eyes. “He’s told us a lot about you though. You’re even cuter than he described. Not sure how you ended up with someone like my brother though.”
“Yah!!” Changbin yells, causing the girl to lean away from him a little at his loud voice.
“Don’t make the poor girl deaf, Changbinnie.” Jaehee scolds. “God you’re so loud.”
“If I had known you were just going to make fun of me the whole time I wouldn’t have answered your call.” He grumbles causing his sister to laugh.
“I’ll be nice.” Jaehee smiles then looks at the omega through the camera. “So Y/n, how are you liking Jeju Island? Changbin said it’s your first time being there. Do you like our beach house?”
“It’s very beautiful here. And the house is amazing.” Y/n smiles. “I can understand why Jisung and Felix wanted to come here so badly.”
“What have you guys been up to so far?”
“All together we’ve only done a beach day. Though I think we’re all going to the drive-in theatre tonight since Felix and Minho are making an early dinner.” She looks at her mate for confirmation who nods yes. “And they’ve each paired up and have been taking me on dates as proper courting.”
“Aww, that’s so sweet.” The older female gushes. “What did my brother do for his date?”
“We haven't gone yet. He and Ji are my last date tomorrow.”
“Changbin, you better treat this girl right on your guys date tomorrow.” She scolds. “I expect princess treatment, you hear me?”
“Trust me, all she knows at this point is princess treatment.” The alpha defends making the girl next to him blush as he pulls her closer to him and nuzzles her cheek.
“Y/n, if he ever does anything to upset you, call me okay?”
“Will do, Jaehee.”
“So what did the others do for your dates?” Jaehee places her chin in her hand.
“Chan and Seungmin took me to some shops to get a swimsuit and we got desserts.” Y/n smiles as she thinks about her dates. “Felix and Jeongin took me to a gaming cafe and Minho and Hyunjin took me to the farmers market and craft fair.”
“Ooh Changbinnie, you’ve got some competition.”
“It isn’t about which pair takes her on a better date Jaehee.” Changbin looks annoyed with his sister now. “This trip is about all of us bonding and getting to know our girl better.”
“Alright, alright.” She puts her hands up in surrender. “I’ll stop being a pest and let you guys go. Have fun on the rest of your vacation. And Y/n, we’ll have to figure out sometime when you and Changbin can come over to our parents so we can meet in person.”
“Sounds good.” The omega smiles. “I know we’ll have to figure that out for everyone's families.”
“Tell everyone else I said hi. And we’ll talk again soon.”
“Bye.” Y/n and Changbin say at the same time before hanging up the video call.
“Sorry about her, pretty girl.”
“Don’t worry about it, I like her.” Y/n smiles up at him. “I can’t wait to meet her and your parents in person.”
“We’ll definitely have to figure out with everyone when we can finally introduce you to all of our families.”
“Do you think all of your guy’s family will like me?” The omega scent starts to sour as she starts to get into her head.
“Look at me, pretty girl.” He places a finger under her chin to lift her head up so they are making eye contact. “Our families will love you. They’ll have no reasons not to.”
“You sure?”
“I’m positive.”
“Dinners ready.” Jeongin pokes his head out from the sliding glass door but then frowns when he sees the alpha and omega. “Jagiya, you okay?”
“She’s good, pup.” Changbin grabs her hand and leads her into the house and ruffles his hair as they walk past. “Let's eat so we can get ready to head out.”
Minho and Felix place the last of the food on the table as they all start taking seats. Jeongin quickly takes one of the seats next to Y/n. He’s been worried about her since she had asked him to help her slip into subspace, hovering around her a little more.
“So there are two movies playing tonight.” Chan says as everyone starts eating. “One screen will be playing Jurassic World. And the other screen will be playing Five Feet Apart.”
“We have to see Five Feet Apart.” Felix sits up straight, eyes wide with excitement.
“Isn’t it a sad sappy movie?” Seungmin scrunches his nose. “At least Jurassic World has action.”
“Like always, we’ll put it to a vote.” Changbin eyes the two in warning not to start arguing. “If you want to see Jurassic World, raise your hand.” Changbin raises his hand along with Seungmin, Jeongin and Chan. “And Five Feet Apart.” Felix, Jisung, Hyunjin and Minho raise theirs.
“Y/n, you didn’t vote.” Chan looks at her with a frown.
“Why do I have to be the one to decide?” She looks at all of them, scared that depending on which one she picks, the four who picked the other movie will be upset and grouchy the whole time.
“You get to have a choice in this too, babygirl.”
“And now that we have nine people we actually have a better voting system unlike before.” Jeongin places his hand on her thigh. “We would have so many ties with there being an even number of us that we would have to flip a coin to decide most of the time.”
“What if we see both?” She mumbles not looking at any of them. “We’re already planning to take two of the three cars right? So everyone that wants to see Jurassic world goes in one and everyone who wants to see Five Feet Apart goes in the other and everyone is happy.”
“No we’re not.” Minho shakes his head. “We’re supposed to be doing this as a pack, so we all see one movie, not split up to see different ones, it’s not how it works.”
“But I don’t want anyone who was wanting to see the other movie than the one I pick be upset and unhappy the whole time.”
“That won’t happen, pup, I promise.” Seungmin gives her a reassuring smile. “As long as we’re all together we’ll enjoy it.”
“Yeah, the plan is to put all the pillows and blankets in the bed of the trunk and we all get in it to watch the movie and cuddle.” Jisung smiles brightly, already excited for what's to come.
“So which do you pick, princess?” Hyunjin folds his hands together and rests his chin on them while waiting for her answer.
“Ummm…” She looks at all of them for a moment before taking a deep breath reminding herself that she actually has a say in things now and that no one will be upset with her for what she chooses. “I wanna see Five Feet Apart if that’s okay?”
“Of course it’s okay.” Changbins eyes soften at her. “Five votes for it makes it the winner.”
“Yes.” Felix and Jisung high five each other.
“Kitten, why don’t you go change into something comfier and grab whatever extra pillows and blankets are in the closest that we can set up in the bed of the truck.” Minho stands up to start cleaning. “We’ll get everything cleaned up so we can head on out as quickly as possible.”
“Okay.” The omega stands and quickly goes to her room to change as she hears the sounds of plates and dishes being handled.
“Why’d you send her off like that?” Jisung frowns as Minho takes his and Felix’s plates. “I thought what she was wearing was just fine.”
“Because I wanted your guys' opinions on something I had bought at the craft fair.” Minho places the plates in the sink before pulling the collar with the amethyst compass rose pendant out of his pocket showing it to all of them.
“Is that?” Chan moves closer to look at it while everyone sits there gapping at it.
“The booth was run by a nice alpha and omega couple, everything is handmade.” Minho gives Chan the collar so he can look at it and they can all pass it around. “I just felt that the compass rose was a good symbol for us and the omega said that amethysts is a symbol of faithful loves and a popular choice for those seeking a soulmate. Or something like that.”
“I think you put more thought into this than you did for my collar.” Felix says as he looks at the pendant.
“Lixie, you were determined to pick out your own collar, you didn’t give us a choice.” Chan nudges the omega.
“Because I’m picky with what I wear.” Felix pouts, handing the collar to Jisung before placing his hand on his own collar around his neck. “But I do love mine and I think Y/n will love this one.”
“So is this the one we’re gonna collar her with?” Hyunjin admires the pendant.
“Does everyone agree?” Chan asks and they all nod in excitement.
“I think it’s perfect.” Changbin hands the collar back to Minho.
“Chan, as pack alpha it’s only right that you give it to her.” He hands it back to the oldest male.
“But you were the one who found it.”
“And Felix found his own collar but you were still the one to collar him.” Jeongin speaks up.
“We all agree as pack alpha you should do it, Channie. Seungmin forces him to fold his fingers around the collar before moving his hand to his pocket.
“I’ll do it tonight while we’re all in the bed of the truck. That way everyone is there.” Chan nods as he places it safely in his pocket.
⋆⁺₊⋆ ☾ ⋆⁺₊⋆
Felix, Y/n and Jisung move around the bed of the truck situating the pillows and blankets almost making a form of nest for everyone. Chan and Jeongin watch over the three of them as Minho, Changbin, Seungmin and Hyunjin went to the snack bar to get drinks and snacks. The second car is parked right next to the truck, the trunk open, back seats down and also set up with some blankets and pillows in case anyone gets too cold and wants to move inside the vehicle.
“You guys are just so cute.” Jeongin gawks at them which results in him getting hit in the head with a pillow by Jisung gaining a laugh from the omegas.
Jeongin grunts and his eyes show that he’s about to put the beta in his place but Chan stops the young alpha. “Not in public, Innie.”
“But hyung, he started it.”
“Don’t give me that tone, pup.” Chan asserts his dominance causing Jeongin to pout a little, making Jisung laugh. “Ji, you have no room to laugh, you did start it, don’t push it.”
“Alright, we’re done.” Felix announces hoping to defuse the situation between the three of them.
“And just in time.” Changbin calls out as he rounds the truck holding popcorn and a drink carrier, Minho, Hyunjin and Seungmin following behind with more drink carriers and popcorn or candy. “We’ve got the food.”
Jeongin gets in the truck and takes the food from them to place around. Felix and Jisung claim a corner of the truck and start cuddling as Minho gets into the bed of the truck and grabs their snacks and drinks, handing it to them. Changbin and Chan help Seungmin and Hyunjin get up into the truck before climbing up themselves.
Chan moves over near the two already cuddling and pulls Y/n along so she can lay against him. Hyunjin follows wanting cuddles from his alpha too. Changbin sits down before manhandling Seungmin into his lap and the beta allows it. And Minho moves over to pull Jeongin to him from where he’s kneeled, still watching the female omega like he’s been doing since their date.
“She’s okay, pup, relax.” Minho whispers into the youngest alphas hair as he’s pulled to his chest. “I’m proud of you for being observant of her but you’re hovering too much. Has she seemed to be actining any differently or on edge, more than normal?”
“No.” Jeongin shakes his head.
“Exactly. I know we were all worried because of her asking you to scent her into subspace but I genuinely think she was just wanting to experience it after she and Felix talked about it.” Minho reassures him. “You should be proud that she trusts you to do that for her. Be happy, okay.”
“Hey, babygirl, we’ve got something for you.” Chan says pushing on Y/n and Hyunjin a little so he can sit up.
The omega looks at him confused before looking at everyone else who are watching with excitement before turning back to Chan as he pulls something out of his pocket. Her eyes widen as she gasps when she sees the pendant necklace.
“Is that?” She covers her mouth in disbelief.
“We want to collar you if you’ll let us.” Chan smiles at her, his eyes filled with nothing but love. “Even though we all haven’t claimed you yet, we wanted something to show to you that we’ll be yours forever.”
“We know that not all omegas enjoy being collared, and it’s okay if you don’t want to be.” Hyunjin speaks up when she still hasn’t said anything.
“But we still wanted to give you one just like we did with Felix when he came out to us.” Changbin explains and Y/n looks over at the other omega and he shows off his collar he’s wearing.
She takes it from Chan to get a closer look. “It’s beautiful.”
“Minho hyung picked it out.” Jisung nudges her leg with his foot and the girl looks over at the second oldest alpha whose ears are burning red.
“I felt that the compass rose was a good representation of how we came to be.” The alpha watches her lovingly. “We were lost without you, you were lost on your own, and we managed to find each other, as if you were meant to run out of gas at that park because your true north was there or something.”
“Hyung, you’re getting sappy on us.” Seungmins groans, gaining a pinch to the side from Changbin who's still holding the beta in his lap.
Y/n starts to tear up and she quickly wipes her cheeks. “I love you guys.” She finally admits to all of them, her lip still trembling a little with overwhelming emotions, and her tears just keep coming.
She gets a chorus of “we love you too” as they all sit up to give her a group hug and they tell her not to cry.
“It’s happy tears.” She tries to laugh a little as they all hold her. When they all eventually pull away, she turns to Chan and gives him the collar. “Can you help me put it on?”
“Of course baby girl.” He kneels behind her and puts it around her neck as she holds her hair out of the way.
Once it's clasped in place she puts her hand over it and smiles before showing it off, everyone admiring her. They all still can’t believe that the beautiful omega in front of them is theirs.

JOEL
“Everybody good?” It’s a question meant for one person in particular—the woman that just got the air kicked out of her—but with what the kids just saw, there’s no harm in asking them, too.
“Good,” Ellie says, although her voice is quiet. Even if I didn’t know her, I’d be able to tell that she’s lost in her head. After what she did, I’d be lost, too.
“I need…” My attention lands on our host—Red, I think I’ll call her, to match the fire in her eyes. She’s resting one arm against the kitchen counter, the other cradling her ribs. “I don’t know.”
I’m walking over to her before I even realize I’m doing it, my hands reaching out to steady her as she sways a bit and goes clammy. “Y’need to lay down.”
“Need to wash…the blood…” I look down, scanning her body to find a clean slice up her arm dripping blood onto the wooden planks beneath us.
“Shit,” I curse under my breath. Guiding her over to one of the chairs at the dining table, I have to glower at her to get her to sit. “Y’got a med kit?”
She nods, weakly pointing to the cabinet above the sink.
“Ellie, can you boil some water?” I glance at her as I reach to grab the med kit, finding her still in that state of shock.
She needs to get up, to find ways to busy her mind and hands so that she’s not replaying the events from earlier. I know it better than anybody.
“Ellie,” I call again, this time breaking through to her. “Need some help, kid.”
“Right,” she says, her voice still softer than I’d like. “Water, you said?”
“Yeah,” I manage, keeping one eye on her and one on the woman in front of me half-ready to faint. “Quickly as you can manage.”
“Got it.”
Focusing back on Red, I pull up a chair in front of her. “Gonna need to stitch you up.”
“I can…take care of…myself.”
“You can’t even talk,” I grunt, shaking my head at her as I lay out the contents of the kit in front of us. Needles, thread, an antiseptic that I hope still works.
“You even know…what you’re doing?” Even bleeding out and winded, she’s still coming at me.
I have no fuckin’ clue as to why I like it so much.
“Ain’t my first time stitchin’ up an awnry woman, if that’s what you mean.” I don’t want to think about the last woman I tended to like this. If I do, I’ll just get angry all over again. Angry and hurt. “Might leave a scar, though.”
“Mama,” Colt comes up to her, sticking to her side like glue. “What’s gonna happen to you?”
She softens, forcing a smile onto her clammy face. “Well, Joel here…is gonna…stitch me up. Y’know…how I like to…sew?”
“Uh-huh.”
“Well…Joel’s just gonna…sew my cut up,” she says, raising her free hand up to his face. “It sounds scarier…than it is.”
“Okay,” he says, blowing out a breath of air. “I’ll hold your hand, just in case it hurts.”
I might be a cold-hearted bastard, but damn it if the sight of Colt and Red together doesn’t warm my soul just a little bit.
“Water’s boiling,” Ellie announces, joining us at the table.
“Alright, soon as it reaches a boil, I need you t’take it off the heat and let it cool a little bit before bringing me a bowl full,” I instruct. “As for you, Red, I’m gonna need you t’sit right here and not bleed out in the meantime.”
“Got nothing better to do,” she says, one corner of her mouth twitching just the slightest bit.
Ignoring the strange feeling stirring in my chest—one I’m sure is a result of the adrenaline high I’m coming off of—I head over to the bathroom and rinse the blood off my hands with the leftover water sitting in a bucket inside the empty bathtub. It’s not the most sanitary of set-ups, but it’s better than nothing.
“Hey,” Ellie pokes her head in the bathroom, locking eyes with me in the vanity mirror. “What, uh, what are we doing about the dead dudes?”
“Don’t know,” I say as I scrub my hands with soap. “Don’t deserve a burial, in my humble opinion.”
“I just mean…like…are we good here?”
I contemplate her question for a few seconds. Truthfully, I’ve got no fuckin’ idea if it’s safe to be here. Those fucks outside could be apart of a larger group and just got dealt the shit end of the recon stick for all I know. So, I settle on the truth. “I don’t know, Ellie. Regardless, no one’s gonna be comin’ out this way in the storm. Once it passes, we’ll be on our way like we planned to.”
“And them?” she asks, her brows lacing together. “We’re just going to leave them behind?”
Rinsing my hands off and grabbing a cloth to wipe them dry, I turn to face her with an exasperated look. It’s been a hell of a fucking afternoon. My body is drained. My mind is all over the place. I’m not in the position to stretch myself any thinner than I already have.
“Ellie, this is their home,” I whisper, gesturing towards where Colt and Red sit just on the other side of the wall. “She can decide what she wants to do. All I’m worried about is us.”
“There’s not an ounce of sympathy left in that cold heart of yours?” She’s getting pissed now, just another part of her dealing with what she did out there in the woods.
“Sympathy won’t keep us alive,” I say, moving past her.
READER
Joel’s hands are warm. Rough, yes, but so fucking warm. And surprisingly gentle.
He’s got one hand resting beneath my forearm as it lays on the table, squeezing both sides of my wound together as he stitches it closed. He just finished washing it clean, his fingers gentle as he dragged the damp cloth along the slice until it was no longer caked in dark blood. He’s by no means a surgeon, but damn it if he’s not completely focused and careful with me.
It’s painfully attractive. Even if the guy still pisses me off with all of his grunts and scowling.
Then again, I always did find competency sexy. It was the main reason Kit ever made it out of the friend zone back in QZ.
A man who can take care of shit is an entirely different level of desirable.
“You have done this before, haven’t you?” I don’t know why I’m making conversation, other than the fact that for the first time in the last hour, I can speak without feeling like I’m going to pass out.
Between the chest kick that knocked the wind out of me and the slice across my arm, I’m surprised I made it this long without fainting.
“Yep,” he says, sighing a little bit.
“Surprising,” is all I reply. He glances up from his work and pins me with dark eyes, but I’m quick to look away. Instead, I turn to look at Ellie and Colt in the middle of the living room, sitting side by side on the floor as they color in companionable silence. They’re both handling this better than I would, especially Ellie.
“Why?” Joel’s soft, deep voice brings my eyes back to him, but thankfully, he’s not looking at me this time.
“Just don’t seem like the caretaking type is all.”
“Right,” he murmurs. “Because travelin’ around the country with a teenager doesn’t involve any caretakin’.”
“Ellie seems pretty self-sufficient, that’s all I mean.”
“Still a kid,” he says, stabbing the needle through my flesh quickly enough that I barely register the pain. “Still someone to take care of.”
“She yours?” I’ve been meaning to ask ever since they arrived, but between our little arguments and then staying out in the shed, there hasn’t been much of an opportunity to pry.
“No,” he replies, pursing his lips.
“How long have you been watching over her, then?”
“Since summer,” he says. “Promised someone I’d take her across the country. It’s taken us this long to get here.”
I nod, not wanting to ask for anything more than he’s given me. Lord knows I certainly haven’t been all that giving in terms of my history.
“What about you?” he asks, sticking me with the needle again. “I’m assumin’ he’s yours.”
“Yeah,” I smile softly, my eyes wandering to Colt. “He’s mine.”
“And the father?”
I suck in a deep breath and let my eyes fall to my lap. “He died before Colt was born.”
Joel’s eyes flicker up to meet mine. “You gave birth by yourself?”
I nod, chuckling a bit at the memory. “And I’ll never do it again.”
Joel’s lips threaten to curl upwards. “Can’t say I blame you.”
It’s odd making conversation that doesn’t end with me calling him a dick or him judging my parental skills, but what’s even more strange is that I’m starting to think he’s not a dick at all.
Or maybe he is, but only when he wants to be. Maybe he’s a dick because it’s the safer option out here. I sure as hell haven’t been the most friendly person in the world.
“So…about what happened out there,” I say, my free hand tracing the hole in my jeans at my knee in order to distract myself from what I know is inevitable. “We’re not safe out here, are we?”
Joel’s jaw clenches a bit as he works the final swipe of his needle through me. “No. I don’t think so.”
“Fuck,” I curse under my breath, hoping Colt’s keen ears don’t pick up on it.
“You’re safe out here at least until the storm passes through,” Joel says as consolation, his fingers working quickly to tie the thread into a knot before he’s wrapping my arm up in a bandage.
“It could be over with by tomorrow,” I say, lifting my eyes to meet his. “I don’t…I don’t know if I can make it out there on my own, not with Colt. I’m not like you, and he’s not like Ellie. We’re…too soft.”
Joel’s eyes grow stern, his hand still holding my arm even though he’s finished with sewing me up. “Trust me, Red, you’re anything but soft.”
I scoff, shaking my head. “You don’t know me. I might pretend to be brave, but…deep down, I’m just scared.”
“Y’don’t think I’m scared every goddamn day out there?” His voice is low, hushed to the point that I have to lean in to hear him. “It’s alright to be scared shitless. What’s not alright is to give up. You stay out here, y’all are just sittin’ ducks waitin’ for someone to come by and take everything from you. Now, I don’t know you well enough to trust you, but I trust that you’ll do anything to save that boy of yours. You’ll find a way to be brave.”
I swallow the lump forming in my throat and give him a nod. It’s all I can do not to cry.
I wish Kit were here.
I wish I didn’t have to go through this alone and make these decisions.
Most of all, I wish Colt never had to live in this dangerous, uncertain world.
“Listen, I gotta talk this through with Ellie, but…” He rubs the scruff on his chin, appearing at war with himself for what he’s about to say. “Maybe y’all can tag along with us, least until you find someplace to settle.”
I give him a wary, almost skeptical look. “We don’t trust each other.”
“No, we don’t,” he agrees, shrugging one shoulder as he lets his hands finally slip away from my arm. “But we’ve both had plenty of chances to kill each other and haven’t yet. I figure as long as we continue like that, we’ll be alright.”
“I’ll keep my end of the bargain if you do, too,” I say, holding my free hand out for him to shake on. Joel eyes it for a moment before grasping it in his warm grasp.
Still so rough.
Still so gentle.
JOEL
“Jesus, is it like this every winter out here?” Ellie asks, sitting beside me at the table while we eat the dinner Red whipped up for us.
I’d offered to help—actually, I’d offered to do it myself—but ever the stubborn asshole, she refused to let me do so much as boil water. Tess always told me I was the most stubborn person on the planet, but I think she’d change her mind if she ever met Red.
”It ebbs and flows,” Red says, wiping her mouth with a cloth. “Some winters it’s calm, barely snows more than a few inches. Some winters—like this one—are brutal.”
My eyes flicker to the boy sitting beside her, his chair scooted up so close to hers he might as well have been sitting in her lap. He’s clutching his spoon hard enough to bend it, and his eyes—eyes that don’t match his mother’s—look wild. Red catches me staring, watching her son like he’s a wolf bronco that might buck at me any minute.
“Colt and I always get a little jittery when a storm like this rolls through,” she says, reaching her hand over to rub her son's shoulder. “But it’s nothing we haven’t faced before, right?”
“Mmhm,” he manages, clearly trying to put on a brave face for his mom.
I hate how much it reminds me of Sarah.
I hate being forced to revisit old wounds I haven’t touched in decades.
Most of all, I hate hating the memory of my daughter. She deserves to be remembered without all these extra emotions that come along with it.
Regret.
Anger.
Shame.
Letting my spoon drop into my bowl with a clank, I push my chair back and stand up abruptly, drawing all eyes. “‘Scuse me. I need…uh, need some air.”
I turn to walk towards the door to the cabin, hearing Red call out behind me. “Wait—out there?”
I don’t stop. I can’t.
My ears are ringing, my hands are numb, and all I can think to do is get up and go. I need to be alone. I need to not break down in front of Ellie. In front of Red and her boy.
The icy wind hits me as soon as I step out of the cabin, flecks of snow whirring in front of me and cutting into the warmth of my skin, but it’s a welcome sensation. I’d rather feel something than nothing, and if putting my body into shock is what I need to snap out of it, I’ll gladly sit out here in this blizzard for hours.
“Joel, come back inside!” I expect the person to come chasing after me to be the awnry fourteen-year-old in my care, but it’s not. With a voice full of irritation, and even a little concern, Red is calling my name and shouting orders like she has any right to.
“I’m—“ The words aren’t coming out smoothly, not with the way I can’t seem to catch my breath. “Fine.”
“You’re walking into a blizzard!” she shouts.
“Just…go on back,” I manage, though it’s hard to register if I’m actually getting the words out or just thinking them. All I know is the haggard in and out of my breathing, the pounding in my chest, the empty feeling in my stomach.
Until she rests her hand on my shoulder.
Until I know her touch.
Her warmth.
The gentle squeeze of her hand as she brings me back to myself.
“Come back inside,” she says, her voice softer than it’s ever been towards me. When my eyes settle, the haze turning to clarity, I find her expression just as soft. Just as gentle. “You can freak out in the bathroom if you want. It’s too fucking cold out here and Ellie said if I didn’t get you to come back inside, she’d come out here next.”
I let out a chuckle, or what’s meant to be a chuckle, and nod my head slowly. “Alright, Red.”
And just like that, I’ve gone and done the most dangerous thing a person can do out here.
I’ve made a friend.

ALL THE LITTLE MOMENTS JACK HUGHES
Summary :: You watch as Jack tenderly cares to your daughter’s every beck and call.
Warnings :: none
Word count :: 3.2k
You’re roused from sleep by the soft sound of little feet padding against the hardwood floor, the gentle creak of the bedroom door as it pushes open. The light streaming through the curtains is warm and golden, signaling that the day is just beginning. You stretch and turn over in bed to find Jack still asleep, his dark lashes resting against his cheeks and his breathing slow and steady. He looks peaceful, almost boyish, and you can’t help but smile. It’s rare to have a morning like this—no early practices, no flights to catch, just the three of you. These moments are your most cherished, the ones you hold closest to your heart.
Before you can savor the quiet any longer, your attention is drawn to the tiny figure standing by the bed. It’s your three-year-old daughter, her tousled curls wild and free, her big, bright eyes filled with excitement. She’s holding her favorite stuffed animal—a worn, floppy bunny Jack had bought her during a road trip to Boston last year.
“Mama,” she whispers, her voice soft but insistent, as though she’s worried about waking Jack. “Is Daddy awake yet?”
You smile and shake your head, reaching out to gently beckon her closer. She climbs onto the bed, her small hands gripping your arm as she snuggles into your side. Her presence is warm and familiar, her curls tickling your cheek as she leans against you.
“Let’s let him sleep a little longer, sweetheart,” you whisper, stroking her hair gently. She nods solemnly, but the glint of mischief in her eyes tells you she has other plans.
It takes only a minute before her patience wears thin. She wriggles free from your grasp, crawling over to Jack’s side of the bed. With the determination only a three-year-old can muster, she pokes his cheek softly at first, then a little harder.
“Daddy,” she whispers, her voice rising to an excited squeal. “Wake up! It’s morning!”
Jack groans dramatically, keeping his eyes closed as though he’s still deeply asleep. You can tell he’s fighting a smile, his lips twitching slightly. His hand shifts under the covers, reaching out to “catch” her as she pokes him again.
“Daddy!” she insists, climbing fully onto his chest now. “You promised pancakes!”
That does it. His eyes flutter open, and he looks up at her with a playful grin, his arms wrapping around her tiny frame to pull her closer. “I did, huh?” he asks, his voice gravelly from sleep. “I don’t remember making any promises…”
“Yes, you did!” she says, her curls bouncing as she nods emphatically. “You said pancakes today! With syrup!”
Jack glances over at you, his expression softening as your eyes meet. He reaches out to squeeze your hand, his thumb brushing against your skin. “What do you think, babe? Pancakes? Or should we just stay in bed all morning?”
You laugh, shaking your head at his teasing tone. “You better get up before she starts bouncing on you. I’m not responsible for any injuries.”
Jack chuckles, sitting up and pressing a kiss to your temple. “Alright, pancakes it is,” he declares, hoisting your giggling daughter onto his shoulders as he climbs out of bed. He looks back at you with a lopsided smile, his eyes full of warmth. “Come on, Mama. Let’s make this a family effort.”
The kitchen is soon filled with the sounds of laughter, clattering bowls, and your daughter’s delighted squeals. Jack moves around the space with a relaxed confidence, his hands deftly gathering ingredients while your daughter “helps” from her spot on the counter. She’s wearing her favorite apron—a miniature version of the one Jack wears when he cooks, complete with a little hockey puck design embroidered on the front.
“Alright, chef,” Jack says, handing her a small whisk and a bowl of flour. “Mix this up for me. We need the best pancake batter ever.”
Your daughter takes her job very seriously, her tongue poking out in concentration as she stirs. The bowl is almost comically large compared to her tiny hands, but she handles it with determination.
“Careful, don’t spill,” Jack warns, leaning in to steady the bowl. His free hand brushes against yours as he does, and he pauses for a moment, turning to you with a soft smile. “Thanks for letting me do this,” he says quietly, his voice filled with sincerity. “I know I’m gone a lot… I just want her to have these memories.”
You place your hand over his, squeezing gently. “You’re here now,” you say, your voice equally soft. “And that’s what matters.”
He holds your gaze for a moment longer, his thumb brushing over your knuckles, before your daughter’s excited voice pulls him back to the task at hand.
“Daddy! Can I crack the eggs?” she asks, her wide eyes full of anticipation.
Jack glances at you, silently asking for permission. You nod, and he carefully hands her an egg. “Okay,” he says, crouching slightly to meet her eye level. “But I’m going to help you, alright? No shells in the batter.”
Together, they crack the egg, and your daughter’s face lights up with pride when the yolk slides cleanly into the bowl. “I did it!” she exclaims, looking up at Jack with a grin.
“You sure did, kiddo,” he says, ruffling her hair. “You’re a pro.”
You lean against the counter, sipping your coffee and watching the two of them. Jack’s gentle patience, the way he encourages her and laughs at her little jokes—it all makes your heart swell. He’s not just a good father; he’s an exceptional one. And he’s your partner, your love, your everything.
The rest of the morning passes in a joyful blur of giggles, sticky syrup, and playful banter, and soon the three of you find yourselves outside, soaking in the crisp autumn air. The breeze carries the earthy scent of fallen leaves, mingling with the distant hum of neighbors raking their yards. Your backyard is alive with the vibrant colors of the season—deep reds, golden yellows, and burnt oranges scattered in piles, creating a picturesque backdrop for the day’s adventures.
Your daughter darts toward the largest pile of leaves, her tiny legs moving with excitement as she shrieks, “Watch me, Mama! Watch me, Daddy!” She leaps into the pile, sending a cascade of leaves flying into the air, her laughter ringing out as the colorful flurry falls back down around her like confetti. Jack chuckles beside you, shaking his head as he takes in the sight. “She’s fearless,” he says with pride, his lips curling into a soft smile.
“She gets that from you,” you tease, nudging him gently with your elbow. Jack grins, but before he can respond, your daughter grabs two fistfuls of leaves and tosses them into the air again, her curls bouncing as she twirls beneath them. The sheer joy on her face makes your heart swell.
Jack sits beside you on the porch steps, his arm draping naturally around your shoulders as he pulls you closer. The warmth of his body cuts through the chill of the air, and for a moment, everything feels perfectly still, like the world beyond your yard has paused just for you. Jack presses a kiss to your temple, his lips lingering there for just a beat longer than usual. His tenderness is so effortless, so genuine, that it makes you fall in love with him all over again.
“She’s so happy,” he murmurs, his voice low and filled with awe. You turn to look at him and see the softness in his eyes, the way they follow your daughter as she plays. “I can’t believe we made her,” he says, almost to himself, as though the thought still amazes him.
You smile, resting your head against his shoulder. “She’s perfect,” you say softly, your gaze fixed on your daughter as she collapses into the pile of leaves with a fit of giggles. “Just like her dad.”
Jack laughs under his breath, a sound that’s warm and familiar, and his hand moves to rest on your thigh. He squeezes it gently, a small but meaningful gesture that sends a flutter through your chest. “I don’t know about perfect,” he says with a playful lilt, glancing down at you. “But I’m trying.”
You tilt your head to look at him, a smile tugging at your lips. “You don’t even have to try,” you say, your voice barely above a whisper. “You’re amazing.”
Before Jack can respond, your daughter’s voice interrupts, loud and full of energy. “Daddy! Chase me!” she calls, standing at the edge of the yard with her arms outstretched. “You have to catch me!”
Jack stands, rolling his shoulders dramatically like he’s preparing for a big game. “Oh, you’re in trouble now,” he says, his tone light and teasing as he takes a step toward her. She squeals with delight, spinning on her heel and taking off as fast as her little legs will carry her.
Jack takes off after her, his long strides making it easy for him to catch up, but he lets her think she’s outsmarting him. She zigzags behind trees, dives into piles of leaves, and shrieks with laughter as Jack pretends to just miss her, his hands swiping at the air.
“You’re too fast!” he calls, feigning exhaustion as he slows his pace. “I don’t know if I can catch you!”
She giggles, glancing over her shoulder to see how close he is. “You’ll never get me, Daddy!” she taunts, her voice full of glee.
Finally, Jack picks up speed, closing the gap between them in an instant. He scoops her up into his arms, spinning her high into the air as she lets out a delighted scream. Her laughter is infectious, and you can’t help but join in, clapping your hands together as you watch the scene unfold.
Jack holds her above his head for a moment, her tiny arms outstretched as if she’s flying. “Gotcha!” he says triumphantly, bringing her back down and pressing a kiss to her cheek. She wraps her arms around his neck, still laughing, her head resting against his shoulder.
From your spot on the porch, your heart feels like it might burst. You can see how much he loves her in every gesture, every laugh, every moment of attention he gives her. And you can see how much she adores him, how her little face lights up every time he’s near.
Jack walks back toward you, your daughter still clinging to him, her curls damp with sweat from all the running. He sets her down on the porch steps, brushing a few stray leaves from her hair. “Did I do a good job, Mama?” she asks, looking up at you with wide, eager eyes.
“You did an amazing job, sweetheart,” you say, leaning down to kiss the top of her head. “And so did Daddy.”
Jack sits down beside you again, pulling you close as your daughter nestles into his side. You glance over at him, his face flushed from running and his smile soft and genuine.
He catches your eye and leans in, his lips brushing against yours in a kiss that’s sweet and lingering. “I love you,” he whispers, his forehead resting against yours for a moment.
“I love you too,” you reply, your voice steady even as your heart races.
As the day winds down, the warm glow of the living room lamps casts a soft light over the space. The three of you are nestled together on the couch, wrapped in a large, fluffy blanket that smells faintly of fabric softener and home. The quiet hum of an animated movie fills the room, but the real focus is on the way your daughter is snuggled up between you and Jack, her small body pressed tightly against his side. Her head rests on his chest, rising and falling gently with his every breath as her tiny hands clutch her well-loved stuffed bunny.
Jack’s arm is draped securely around your shoulders, his fingers tracing slow, absentminded patterns along your skin. It’s a gesture that feels like second nature to him now, an expression of love so subtle yet so deeply comforting. You lean into him, resting your head against his shoulder, the familiar scent of his cologne mixed with the faintest trace of maple syrup from breakfast lingering in the air.
Your daughter’s eyelids droop, her determined effort to stay awake slowly giving way to the pull of sleep. She shifts slightly, curling deeper into Jack’s chest as a soft, contented sigh escapes her lips. Jack tilts his head to look down at her, his expression filled with quiet awe.
“She’s almost out,” he whispers, his voice barely audible. You glance up at him and see the tenderness in his eyes, the way they soften as he watches her. There’s something about the sight of Jack as a dad that makes your chest tighten with love. You reach out to smooth a curl from your daughter’s forehead, and Jack’s free hand covers yours for a moment, his fingers warm and steady against your skin.
By the time the movie ends, your daughter is fully asleep, her soft breathing the only sound in the now-quiet room. Jack carefully shifts, his movements slow and deliberate as he gently gathers her into his arms. She stirs only slightly, her tiny fists curling into the front of his shirt before she settles again, her head tucked under his chin.
You follow Jack upstairs, your steps light as you trail behind him. The hallway is dim, the only illumination coming from the faint glow of the nightlight in your daughter’s room. Jack moves with practiced ease, cradling her close as though she weighs nothing at all. When he reaches her bed, he kneels carefully, lowering her onto the soft mattress with a gentleness that makes your heart ache.
He tucks her in with a precision that comes from years of practice, smoothing the blankets over her tiny frame and making sure her bunny is nestled beside her. She looks so peaceful, her features soft and angelic in the dim light. Jack crouches beside her, his hand brushing a stray curl from her face as he leans in to press a kiss to her forehead.
“Goodnight, sweetheart,” he whispers, his voice filled with love. “I love you.”
Your daughter stirs slightly, her lips forming a sleepy smile as she murmurs, “I love you too, Daddy,” her words so quiet they’re barely audible.
Jack stays there for a moment longer, his expression tender and unguarded as he watches her. His thumb lightly brushes over her cheek, and you can see the depth of his love for her in that small, simple gesture. It’s a look you’ll never forget, one that reminds you of just how much Jack treasures being her dad.
Later that night, the house is wrapped in a comfortable hush, the kind of silence that comes only after a day well spent. The soft glow of the bedside lamp bathes your bedroom in a golden light, casting faint shadows on the walls as you settle into bed beside Jack. The warmth of the blankets and the steady hum of his breathing create a cocoon of safety, a quiet space where the rest of the world feels far away.
Jack shifts closer to you, pulling you into his arms with an ease that speaks to how natural it feels for him to hold you. His embrace is strong yet gentle, his hands warm as they press against your back, pulling you tightly against his chest. He leans down, brushing his lips softly against your forehead. The kiss lingers, a tender gesture that feels like a silent promise, one filled with gratitude, love, and unspoken devotion.
When his lips find yours, the kiss is slow and deliberate. There’s no rush, no urgency—just a pure expression of love. He cradles your face with one hand, his thumb grazing your cheek as though he’s savoring every second. The way he kisses you reminds you of every reason you fell in love with him—the tenderness, the care, the quiet passion that never falters.
As he pulls back slightly, his forehead rests against yours. His breath is warm, his voice soft and laced with emotion as he finally breaks the silence. “She’s getting so big,” he says, his words filled with both pride and a bittersweet wistfulness. “I feel like she was just a baby yesterday. I blinked, and now… she’s running around, making jokes, cracking eggs for pancakes.”
His words make you smile, though a small ache settles in your chest at the truth of them. You lift your hand to his chest, feeling the steady beat of his heart beneath your palm. “I know,” you whisper, your voice just as soft. “But she’s still your little girl. She always will be, no matter how big she gets.”
Jack tightens his hold on you at your words, his arms wrapping around you like he’s afraid to let go. He buries his face briefly in your hair, inhaling deeply, as though he’s trying to commit this moment to memory. His hand begins to trace slow, soothing circles along your back, the repetitive motion calming and reassuring.
“I wouldn’t be half the dad I am without you,” he says, his voice low but earnest. “You make all of this possible, you know that? You’ve given me everything—her, this life, all of it. I hope you know how much you mean to me.”
The raw sincerity in his tone makes your throat tighten, tears pricking at the corners of your eyes. You tilt your head up to meet his gaze, and the intensity in his eyes takes your breath away. There’s so much love there, so much gratitude, that you can feel it radiating from him without him needing to say another word.
“Jack,” you say softly, your voice trembling slightly as you try to hold back your emotions. “You’re an amazing dad. She’s so lucky to have you… we both are.” Your hand moves to cup his cheek, your thumb brushing gently over his jawline as you smile through the tears threatening to spill over. “You don’t even realize how much you mean to us.”
He shakes his head lightly, a soft smile playing on his lips as he leans in to kiss you again. This time, the kiss is deeper, full of emotion that words could never fully convey. His lips are warm and tender, and when he finally pulls back, he rests his forehead against yours again, his breath mingling with yours in the quiet space between you.
“No,” he says quietly, his voice steady and sure. “I’m the lucky one.”
The way he says it, the way his eyes stay locked on yours, makes your chest tighten. You don’t argue with him, because in this moment, you both know the truth: the life you’ve built together, the family you’ve created, is a gift you’ve given each other.
As Jack pulls you closer, tucking you against his chest, his hand continues its slow, soothing rhythm along your back. You can feel the rise and fall of his breathing, the steady beat of his heart, and it lulls you into a peaceful state.
As you drift off to sleep in his arms, your heart full of love and gratitude, you know with absolute certainty that he’s right. You’re all lucky—to have each other, to share this life, to be a family.

you cooed at the infant in front of you as your car pulled into the driveway of your home. after two long nights at the hospital, you were finally able to bring your sweet newborn home. you and your husband were so obsessed. she was so tiny and so perfect, you couldn’t help but be so in love. but the thing you were looking forward to the most these past few days (besides the birth of your daughter), was the moment where your three year old minjun, would meet his baby sister.
“alright eunsoo, let’s get you inside yeah?” jihoon said, pulling out the baby carrier. he held out his empty hand, gesturing for you to take it. and you did, you held his hand tight as you carefully got out of the car.
you could hear minjun’s eager giggles as he ran towards the door, “mama! hi mama!”
you swooped him into your arms, peppering a suffocating amount of kisses on his cheeky face. “hi my sweet boy, did you miss mommy? i missed you so so so much!”
his laughs faded as he finally focused on what the baby carrier was holding. his eyes flickered back and forth from his father to his new sister. you and woozi had told him about his sister, or “baby sissy” as he calls her, but it seemed like he didn’t realize what was going to happen until now.
“minjun-ah, do you know who this is?” jihoon asked, kneeling down to the three year old’s height. minjun nodded shyly to the question, “baby sissy.”
“would you like to hold eunsoo?” you prayed in your head that minjun would want to hold his sister. he nodded again, this time showing more excitement. seeing that minjun agreed to hold eunsoo, woozi swept him off the ground, giving him some kisses here and there, and settled minjun on the couch.
“hold out your hands baby,” you glanced over at him, still unbuckling eunsoo from her carrier. you stood up and walked over to minjun, who was staring eagerly at the newborn in your arms. you gently placed her into his arms, still cradling her head and her butt so that he wasn’t holding eunsoo entirely by himself. minjun immediately wrapped his arms around his sister, lightly resting his head on hers.
you heart soared at the sight in front of you, woozi as well was admiring the scene. though that peaceful moment was interrupted by eunsoo’s wailing. you hurriedly brought her back to lay on your chest, but minjun stopped you, “it’s okay baby sissy, oppa is here.”
the baby immediately stopped crying, you were completely stunned. you looked to jihoon to see if he had the same reaction, and surely enough he was just as shocked.
“i think she likes me,” minjun giggled, giving little eunsoo a kiss on her forehead.
“yea baby, i think she does.”

The SQUEAL I let out when I saw Tailgate and Cyclonus, I love them SO MUCH
They are too cute
Chain Me Free Pt 2
Tailgate x Reader x Cylconus
• Why are you screaming? He’s not hurt you, he’s being gentle because of how small you are. Your fear triggering his own panic as Tailgate claps a hand over your mouth to stifle the screaming. “Wait. You’re okay. Safe. You’re safe,” he gasps, servos trembling. Why won’t you stop? This isn’t what he’d expected. Not sure what to do to make it better, how to fix this. “Please stop. I can’t, Cyclonus? I can’t.”
• Venting as you claw at Tailgate’s servos and the small bot begins to tremble, Cyclonus sits up and loops his arms around both of you. Curling himself around you. Knows this works for Tailgate. Has no idea about you, but Tailgate is his main concern as he slowly begins rocking. “Tailgate, let them breathe,” he admonishes. Resting his chin on Tailgate’s helm.
• Gasping in a frightened breath as the one finally moves his hand, you’re aware of the bigger, scarier one rocking you and the smaller monster. And the little one is shaking as badly as you are. Trying to get your terror under control as the big one begins a deep, guttural growling that you think might be singing. “Where am I?” You ask, heart racing, trying to squirm free of the little guy’s grip. Able to calm down some seeing the one’s anxiety.
• Trying to get his anxiety under control is easier with Cyclonus’s voice to ground him. Optics shuttering behind his visor as he lays his cheek on top of your soft head, Tailgate relaxes into Cyclonus. “On board the Lost Light. It’s a bit complicated,” he manages as Cyclonus’s singing tapers off. Does the singing calm you, too? Make you feel safe? “This is Cyclonus,” he says, affectionately touching the bigger mech’s jaw. “I’m Tailgate.”
• Feels bad for you as you try to wiggle free of Tailgate’s grip and the little mech only hangs on tighter. You’re tiny, compared to Tailgate. Warm and disturbingly fragile where Tailgate has you pinned between them both. Can feel your racing heart and quick breaths. So afraid still even if you’re not screaming anymore. You found yourself in an unfamiliar place surrounded by strangers and you’re coping admirably. “You’ll be alright,” he mutters, holding both of you close. Knowing he’s going to have to take care of you just like he looks after Tailgate. What’s one more? Though he knows firsthand how much trouble a small being can cause and hopes you’re not as difficult as Tailgate can be. Doesn’t know if his spark can handle it.

say you love me // matt sturniolo + chris sturniolo
synopsis : not saying “i love you” back to your bfs, a tiktok trend.
tiktok trends masterlist !
matt sturniolo (☆´3`)
‘i’m abt done here, so ill pick up some food for us and be home in like 10 mins.’
matt was currently out doing some errands and such, and is in the middle of texting you as he prepares to leave and head home, letting you know the plan.
you respond back fairly quickly, a smile lacing on your lips as you decide to mess with him a little. ‘okayy, sounds good. see u soon :)’
your text causes the boy to smile lightly and he buckles his seatbelt, texting back. ‘i love you, angel’
‘mmh!’
you can’t help the giggles that escape you as he furrows his brows at the screen and sits in the car, staring at the phone in his hand as he tries again. ‘i love u [name]’
‘yup! be safee’
within seconds, your phone suddenly begins to vibrate, signaling that matt was calling. stifling a laugh, you clear your throat and answer. “yeah babe?”
“[name], what’s wrong? did i do something?” the immediate concern in his voice nearly causes you to give in as you purse your lips and feel your chest warm. “what do you mean?”
matt frowns as he leans back in his seat and crosses an arm over his chest. “you aren’t saying it back. what did i do?”
“awh, honey. im sorry, i was just teasing you. i love you, matt.” you coo, already feeling bad and matt huffs lightly. “god, you’re so much sometimes.. i love you more, dumbass. pizza still okay?”
“heh, sounds delicious. see you soon, matt.”
“alright. love you, angel.”
breaking into a wide smile, you chuckle. “i love you more.”
chris sturniolo (⸝⸝⍢⸝⸝) ෆ
“mmh, my baby is all dressed up, looking sexy.”
chris curls his lips into a smirk as he brings an arm behind his head to rest against his pillow while his other hand holds his phone as he lays in bed. “where you headed to?”
you giggle at chris’ words and smooth down your jacket a little, adjusting it before turning to the mirror in his room to look for any last minute changes. “i’m heading out with some friends, we’re going shopping.”
“mmh, pick out something pretty then. can’t wait to see it.” chris calls out, directing his attention back to his phone and you hum, picking up your purse off the bedside table. “i’ll take pictures.”
“alright, have fun. i love you, babe.”
“i will. i like you more.” you quickly say in response, speedily making your way to the door, and just as your hand grabs the handle, chris stops you. “nuh uh, get your ass back here.”
you bite your tongue from releasing a laugh and glance back innocently. “what? i’m going to be late.”
chris narrows his eyes as he stares up at you in disbelief. “i love you, princess.”
“i like you too baby, now can i go?”
chris appears unamused, quickly growing impatient as he stands up and heads over to you, and you swallow to keep your composure. once he arrives at your side, he cups your chin and presses you against the door.
peering down at you, he tilts his head and tries again, this time more firmly and staring right into your eyes.
“[name]. i love you. now say it back and say it right.”
feeling the warmth spreading across your cheeks, you shyly look away and murmur. “..i love you, chris..”
the man only smirks and pecks your lips before pulling away. “good girl. you’re lucky i don’t teach you a lesson.” he warns casually before making his way back to his bed and waves his hand dismissively.
“see you later, baby.”
a/n : i lowkey don’t know how to write chris but gave it my best shot !! hope you guys enjoyed :)

Birthday Boy
Masterlist
Jamie Tartt x fem! PA reader
TW: cursing, suggestive scenes
It was still early in the morning when Y/N arrived at Jamie’s house, the first rays of sunlight spilling through the windows as she approached the front door. She had come well before anyone else, knowing that setting up for Jamie’s birthday party was going to take all day. As his personal assistant, she’d seen her fair share of birthday disasters. But this one would be different. She was determined to make sure everything went off without a hitch, even if it meant dealing with Jamie’s antics, especially early in the morning.
She rang the doorbell, shifting the stack of decorations in her arms, hands too occupied to rummage for her keys. The door opened almost immediately, and there he was: Jamie Tartt, the birthday boy, wearing a goofy grin and a T-shirt with boxer shorts. His hair was a mess and he was barefoot—clearly, he had just rolled out of bed. Not a sight that Y/N isn't used to, being his assistant for almost one and a half years
“‘Bout time, love,” he said, stepping aside so she could come in. “Been waitin’ ages.”
Y/N snorted, stepping inside with a bag full of decorations. “Jamie, it’s seven in the morning. I know you've been sleeping...”
“Exactly. I've waited for you to congratulate me in me dreams,” he said, dramatic as ever.
She rolled her eyes but grinned. “Happy birthday, Jamie.”
Before he could respond, she pulled him into a warm hug. He barely hesitated before wrapping his arms around her, squeezing her just tight enough to make her stomach flip.
“Mmm,” he hummed, resting his chin on her shoulder. “Best gift so far. You're always the first person to wish me happy birthday, never breaking that tradition,” he mumbled into her hair.
Y/N huffed a laugh, pulling back, but Jamie kept his hands on her waist for just a second longer than necessary before finally letting go.
“Alright, let's get to work,” she said, clearing her throat and ignoring the way her skin burned where he’d touched her. “We’ve got a lot to do before tonight, decorations, setting the table, and so on. So you go eat some breakfast or something while I get started.”
Jamie didn’t move. Instead, he crossed his arms and gave her a smug look. “Or—hear me out—I stay right here and help.”
Y/N arched a brow. “Help? You? On your birthday?”
Jamie gasped. “Excuse me? I can be helpful.”
She gave him a pointed look. “Jamie, last week you tried to put together a shelf and nearly set your kitchen on fire.”
“Okay, first of all,” Jamie said, holding up a finger, “there was no actual fire, just a tiny bit of smoke. Second, this is different. It’s my party, innit? I should get a say.”
Y/N sighed, rubbing her temples. “Fine. Just—try not to destroy anything.”
Jamie grinned. “No promises. You want coffee?”
"Yes, milk, no sugar please!" Y/n shouted after him as he made his way to the kitchen. She was hot on his heels.
"I know how you drink your coffee, silly" Jamie shouted back.
"Sooo," Y/N said while propping herself on Jamie's kitchen counter while she watched him prepare her cup. "You got any special wishes for your birthday this year?"
Jamie only hummed in thought then walked towards her, standing between her legs and handing her the cup.
"Not that I can think of right now." he placed his hands on her knees.
Nervous, that's one way to describe Y/N's feelings, being in this position with Jamie right now.
"Well, if you can think of any presents you'd want, tell me." She hurriedly said and jumped off the counter. "Time for decorations!"
An Hour Later
Y/N stood on her tippy toes, trying and failing to tape up a banner over the kitchen doorway. She almost had it—just a little higher and—
“Need help, love?”
She nearly jumped out of her skin as Jamie suddenly appeared behind her, way too close. She could feel his chest against her back, his breath tickling her ear. He changed into his joggers, wanting to get a workout in before the party started.
“I got it,” she said, trying to act unaffected, even though her pulse had gone haywire. So close. She could feel his warm breath in her neck.
Jamie, of course, ignored her. His hands landed on her waist—big, warm, deliberate—and he effortlessly lifted her an extra few inches.
“There ya go,” he murmured, voice low, right by her ear.
Y/N’s fingers fumbled slightly with the tape, her brain short-circuiting at the very obvious way his hands tightened around her hips. She pressed the banner in place, clearing her throat.
“Okay. Done.”
"Look you did it all by yourself now, I only gave you a little boost..." Jamie didn’t put her down immediately. Instead, he hummed. “Y’know, this is kinda nice.”
Y/N scoffed, but it was weaker than intended. “Jamie.”
“What?” he said, finally lowering her back to the ground, though his hands lingered. “S’not my fault you’re tiny. Kinda cute, actually.”
Y/N turned to glare at him, but Jamie just smirked, tilting his head.
“You’d make a good birthday present, y’know.”
Y/N blinked. “What?”
Jamie grinned. “I mean, s’my birthday, right? You asked me what I'd wish for. And you’re already here, lookin’ all cute, helpin’ me set this all up an’ shit. If you really wanted to make my day, you could just—” He gestured vaguely, smirking down at her. “—put a bow on or somethin’.”
Y/N groaned and slapped his chest lightly. “Jamie, for the love of God—”
“Ohhh, or better yet,” he continued, completely ignoring her, “I could unwrap you instead.”
Y/N then smacked his arm, hard, face burning up. “Jesus Christ, Jamie!”
He cackled, clearly pleased with himself. “C’mon, love. You wouldn’t deny me my biggest birthday wish, would ya?”
Y/N shook her head, biting back a smile. “You are ridiculous.”
Jamie just grinned. “Yeah I know, but you love it, right?”
She rolled her eyes but didn’t deny it.
Jamie leaned against the counter, watching her with that infuriatingly smug expression. “Ok enough banter,” he said, “seriously, what did you actually get me?”
Y/N smirked, crossing her arms. “You’ll have to wait and see.”
Jamie pouted like a toddler. “But I hate waitin'.”
“Too bad.”
Jamie sighed dramatically, but there was something else in his eyes—something softer, fonder, beneath all the teasing. “Fine. But if it’s not as good as you in nothing but a bow, I will be disappointed.”
Y/N chuckled, shaking her head. “Duly noted. If you don't like my present, that's my plan B then.”
Jamie's smirk widened, wiggling his eyebrows. "I already fuckin' hate it'."
But as she turned back to her work, she couldn’t help but think that maybe, just maybe, Jamie wasn’t entirely joking.
