The way people watched Invincible and not pick up on Eve being limited by her dad’s teachings on using her powers more ethically and with more accountability which goes to show why Eve doesn’t just make gold even if it’s a smaller amount to fund herself is scary.

The choice to show her changing the apple to gold which then caused an argument/lesson she had to learn was intentional. I don’t care that it’s dumb or boring to you for her to work hard for her money, it goes to show that she is on the morally good end of the superhero spectrum which honestly should be appreciated more as her being morally gray or straight up bad due to her lack of care for consequences with just how easy her powers can make everything will just straight up stagnate any growth or changes her character can face.
