Objects in Motion (War for Rayuba Epilogue)

One whole calendar year after the War For Rayuba ended, I did a rough epilogue, just so everyone knew where Shoota ended up afterwards. Doing WFR was a great time and I made a lot of friends and improved my art a lot- I'll always have fond memories of it, no matter what.

Bullet Train (War For Rayuba Round 7)

Round 7 of the War For Rayuba original comic tournament allowed some fights to be 2v2, so naturally I wanted to do one! In this round, I collabed with artist E.M. Fields (find him on twitter under @EMFields_Art, he's awesome) to make a comic where Shoota and his OC Primrose took on @moiderahart's Elena Hellfire and @goatwright's Alphonse Railcatcher!

Fields and I traded off pages, so I'll post only the pages I drew here!

As usual, see below for the thumbnails I did to prepare the comic! I thumbed the second half of the comic, and Fields worked off of my thumbs for his pages in that section, while I worked off his layouts for the pages I did in the first half of the comic!

Alphonse “Al” Railcatcher, my entry for this year’s K6BD tournie War for Rayuba! Here’s his submission text, intro comic sometime next week! 

Al is a gun witch and former resident of Throne. Though he was a poor study at anything magic, he more than made up for his aim and brute strength. Unable to settle down in the city, he would take up robbing multiversal trains: locomotives hauling passengers and supplies across the worlds and universes of the Wheel. He's garnered a reputation for himself as a permanent rail nuisance and occasional gun-witch-for-hire, and though the law always catches up with him, he has a knack for getting away some way or another. His infamy's certainly gotten to his head, too - have you seen his coat? Though not one for waxing philosophical, Al has found himself aligned with Jagganoth's forces. During a heist on a train carrying war supplies bound for Rayuba, he'd narrowly escape death with the help of Kimobe, a nihilistic monk eager for the universe's death. Indebted to the monk, and plied some additional bribing, Al now joins Kimobe among the Pyre. At least until he dies, anyway; who knows what'll happen after that?
