status: closed, for Razor Lorenz ( @alphcapexpredator )  location: the woods, late afternoon
After what happened on the night of Halloween, sparring with Razor was the last thing Kaleb wanted to do. He didn't want to be away from Kitty or Morgan, didn't want to spend hours in the woods wasting time while trying to entertain his Alpha. He didn't want to deal with anyone from the Lorenz family, too tired and frustrated to trust himself not to snap if Razor pushed him too hard. But whatever the Alpha wanted, the Alpha always got, the Beta's excuses insignificant when Razor gave the order. So like always, Kaleb followed dutifully, suppressing his protests and complaints.
They trained for hours, Razor besting Kaleb every time as usual. But as the intensity of the sparring session rose, Kaleb's anger began to bubble to the surface, for the first time that afternoon getting the upper hand on the Alpha. He pinned Razor to the ground, raising his fist, gaze suddenly focused on the other's exposed throat.
He could just...end it. Right at that moment. Expose his claws and get rid of Razor once and for all. He could kill him and...finally earn their freedom...
In seconds, Kaleb was on the ground again, Razor on top of him, the Alpha punching the Beta across the face. The match stopped there, Kaleb spitting out the blood that accumulated in his mouth once Razor got to his feet. "I know," Kaleb snapped, taking a moment to regain a more respectful tone. "...I know. I hesitated." He always did.

Sitting on a wooden stool behind the front counter, Sam lazily read through a book about enochian symbols, absentmindedly drawing the different shapes on the table with her index finger. It’d been a slow day, only a handful of people passing by the store since the witch arrived five hours prior, Sam running out of options to make time pass faster. She had already restocked, organized, and cleaned around–looking over the various books sold at occult shop seemed like the next best option. The quiet was eventually interrupted though, the chime of the bells adorning the front door announcing someone entered the store.
Samara brought the straw of her iced coffee to her lips, taking a long sip before speaking in a monotonous tone. “Welcome to Clear Crystals." She'd been instructed that her greetings should include an offer of assistance, but the witch always omitted that part. Even when she was bored, she was never bored enough to willingly deal with the stupidity of most costumers. However, feeling eyes on her, Samara finally looked up. "...Is there anything I can help you with?"

Mara had been taking a breather outside the club, the stuffiness getting to her, despite living eons in hell - sometimes she just preferred the fresh air. Standing outside, she spotted a man lurking around the building, and it immediately piqued her interest. She watched him for a while, watching him watch the men and women coming and going before she moved toward him, a small smile on her face.
“Precious little wolf, all dressed up with nowhere to go?” She teased, folding her arms.

Alexandra had spent a few hours helping her mom, handing out portions to those who needed them, running back and forth from her and a few of the other volunteers, helping where she could. Finally she took a break, stepping outside for a smoke. It was a bad habit, sure, but it beat the tension inside the building. So many scents of scared people, wondering what was going to happen to their homes. It was overwhelming.
Looking out at the snow, all she wanted to do was shift and run. Sighing, she lit her cigarette and closed her eyes, opening them when the scent of another wolf crossed her path, and she looked up to see Razor standing there. Her heartrate spiked a little because... Well. If this was how she was gonna die, she was sure her parents would throw her a lovely funeral.
“Here to cause trouble, I’m guessing.” She said, hugging herself. There were other people around, but not other wolves, and thankfully no one that would snitch to her mom. “Anyone’d think you caused the storm yourself.”

Kitty hated going to the tattoo shop. Not that she hated tattoos - they weren’t for her, although they were pretty - but because of who owned it. It was especially rough when Morgan wasn’t around, though Kitty unfortunately wasn’t here on her request this time.
“... You wanted to see me, Alpha?” She asked, nervously. She couldn’t tell if it was for a good reason, or a bad. Had one of the omegas complained about her position? Or was this because of the errand she’d helped Kiera with some weeks ago? “I... don’t think I’ve done anything wrong?”

Zara headed out on her nightly patrols a little later than planned, having stopped off at the coffee shop for a coffee before they closed, to give her a little extra energy. Still, she was alert, keeping an eye out for any movement that seemed unnatural. Seeing a movement up ahead she narrowed her eyes, moving towards it. Stillness for a moment, before she heard the crunch of footsteps behind her. Spinning around, she saw a man standing there, and she raised her eyebrows.
“Don’t you know it’s rude to sneak up on people?” She asked, keeping her stance defensive, just in case.

Eponine didn’t want to say that she’d changed her routine since her talk with Kaleb at the diner, but... she had. She tended to do the early shift rather than the late, and instead of waiting around and doing her paperwork at the diner, she’d take it all home and work on it from there, trying to be there alone as little as possible.
It wasn’t a perfect arrangement, of course, as she stepped out of the kitchen at the end of a lunch time rush to find Razor sitting at one of the tables, looking over the menu. Steeling herself she took a deep breath, thankful that Betsa wasn’t working that day. Grabbing the coffee pot, she approached the table.
“Would you like some coffee while you decide what you’re ordering?” She asked, politely.

It was frustrating to say the least trying to remember a night that only seemed to get foggier and foggier the more he thought about it, finding himself inside of a local gym as he pounded away at one of the hanging bags. He truly hadn’t realized just how much time had gone by until the familiar scent of Razor wafting through the gyms air had caught his attention and had his punches slowing until he eventually caught the bag to stop it’s movements, his gaze snapping to Razor’s within an instant. “I’m just blowing off some steam,” Chris spoke, after a moment of silence passed between them, releasing the bag as he began to beat on it again. “Figured nobody would notice I was gone for a couple of hours. Guess I was wrong about that. How did you find me?”
