What is your dream?

As a sophomore I participated in APU’s orientation program, better known here as the Alpha Program, and while being interviewed for the position I was asked by one of the interviewers, what is your dream? I had never been asked that question before, let alone in an interview. At the time I didn’t know how to answer that question. People had asked me what I wanted to do with my life, what I wanted to be when I grew up, and where I saw myself in 5 years but never before had someone so simply said what is your dream? I ended up getting to know the interviewer who asked me this question (he is now my boyfriend) and his asking that question stayed with me and has shaped how I view my life here at APU as well as my life moving forward. Because of that question, conversations transpired and my trajectory at APU was arguably changed. I decided that one of my dreams whilst here was to study abroad and so I did just that, I spent last semester at University of Oxford. I also dreamt of exploring LA and have utilized APU’s proximity to do that as well. Most recently my dream has been to work with kids in the psychology field in a hands on way and because of APU I am getting to practice behavioral therapy with kids with Autism.

Right now there is a lot of pressure to have tangible answers and pieces of your life set up. I would encourage you, in this season of transition and upcoming adventure, to ask yourself what are my dreams? It is at a place like APU where dreams can come alive and be fostered if you choose to let them.

You say that we inspired your AU, but really you stole most of ours and tweaked small parts to make it "different". It's not really "inspired" by someone else of it can be copy and pasted over each other and look the same in most areas. Demon Tom is gr8, but the biggest part you did was add a stabbing and change the design. You also can't really consider inspiration if you never have credit in the first place for the idea you 'made'
