Hey just a lil question.Ive been listening Kpop for 5 years but I dont know many groups. Like I hear names here and there but never KNOW good groups. Actually the ones I know is because I like a song and start looking for more songs of the group. I REALLY want to to try new groups/solo artists. What male groups/solists would you recommend me the most? Not really into girl groups sorry 😅. Currently know Shinee, Exo, Bts, Seventeen, Nu'est, Got7, BigBang, ZionT and Kard. A few songs of Monsta X.

As I can see you already know some of the most famous ones. I definitely suggest listening to Monsta X more though.Well I can only recommend some of my faves since every single person taste is different but maybe you will like them as well.

From better known ones: Block B, 2pm, B.A.P, B1A4, BTOB, Highlight, iKon, Super Junior, Shinhwa, Winner, Teen Top, ViXX

Groups that definitely deserve love: 24k, 100%, Cross Gene, Imfact, INX, Myname (they have more Japanese releases than Korean ones though), Hotshot, Madtown, Pentagon, SF9, Up10tion

Solo: Crush, Dean, Eric Nam, Gray, Jay Park, Mad Clown

BTS Scenario - You’re Still My Best Friend ~ Jung Hoseok

How you didn’t know about Hoseok being in the biggest boy group known, was a mystery to him, however he was pleased. He didn’t want his fame to be the main reason why you guys were friend, he genuinely enjoyed your company and your relationship, he didn’t want that to be ruined. He loves and cares for you like a little sibling, he would do anything to you, and if you used him just because he was famous? It’ll break him.

Whilst practicing, his phone starts to ping, becoming a distraction so he gives up and caves in to see who was blowing up his phone.

Y/N (Bestie)

[12:38] Where you at bestie, let’s get coffee~! 

[12:43] Hobi~

[12:44] Don’t ignore me! 

He chuckles as he replies to you, reassuring you that he wasn’t ignoring you, that he was quite busy so wasn’t able to get to his phone quick enough. 

Hobi

[12:53] Alright, alright, where do you want me to meet you? 

- Time Skip - 

He sees you walking towards him, but you weren’t paying attention so you ended up walking over his feet, “Y/N-ah~!!” he fake cries, as you look up at him worries, his fake cry face turning into a smile. You shoot him evils before jumping onto him for the biggest hug, you havent seen him in ages and it was long waited for. 

He laugh as he puts his arm around your shoulder as you make head way to the coffee shop down the street. From out of nowhere, a girls scream can be heard from behind, “Oh my god, it’s Hoseok!” she cried. You’re curious to see who’s calling his name as you frantically look around, then your head snaps towards Hobi who now has his hood up and got his mask on. “W-who was that? What was that about?” you asked, concerned to why he’s gotten all quiet. “Uh, it’s... it’s nothing, probably a stalker?” He tries to brush it off, but as your best friend for so long, you can tell he’s bothered. 

You let it go so it doesn’t bother him any longer, as you walk into the coffee shop, he holds the door for you as you bow, giggling at him walking through. “Go find a seat, I’ll get the drinks,” he says softly, as he nods his head towards the seating area for you to follow his lead.

Side eyeing him, you scoff and walk to get a table. As he’s ordering the girl you saw earlier is now standing outside of the coffe shop, with a group of what seems to be her friends, all with their phones out, camera at the ready. Their eyes dart around the seating area, trying to catch him somewhere. Seemingly desperate to see him. This concerns you, as you walk up to the bar towards him, “Y/N, what are you -” he questions but you interupt before he could continue. “That girl screaming your name earlier? She’s outside and she has her friends with her, are you sure she’s just a stalker?” Your eyes slowly glance over to the door, where the crowd has now covered the whole path in front of the coffee shop.

“Hobi.... Jung Hoseok... J-Hope~” They start to chant outside as he starts to get startled and but tries to remain calm, he always said that he wanted to try quiet, not well known coffee shops in quieter parts of the town, purely for this reason but his worries wouldn’t let him tell you why. Now his nightmare is becoming reality. 

“Thanks for the drinks” He grabs them, trying not to react to the crowd outside, he uses people walking behind him as a shield to walk out the exit that he caught out of his eye from across the shop, pulling you with him. Hesitating, he pulls out his phone to ring his security, explaining to them the sitation you’re in. Leaving you so confused. 

“Hobi... what is going on?! Who was that you called? Why is there a whole street full of people on the other side of this shop full of people calling your name? J-Hope? Where did that come from?” you demanded answers but he shook his head, “Please wait until we get back into my building? I’ll tell you everything, I promise!” he pleads. 

Moments pass and his security pulls up, sheltering you both from any on-lookers as you get into the car. Your notifications on your phone start going off, you never check the news for the area. You’re not on social media, you find it too much to be on anything, but with everything going on, without hesitance, you click on the news link, ‘BTS STAR J-HOPE SEEN GETTING COFFEE WITH HIS POSSIBLE GIRLFRIEND!’. 

You continue to read throught he article, confused as the photos of the two of you are attached in the article, one of him with his arm around you. You close your phone after reading enough, your best friend, an idol? World wide known? How- Why didn’t you know about it? Why didn’t he say? Thoguhts of confusion and feeling untrusted flooded your brain, as you look up at him, frantically messaging the boys about what just happened. He’s going to have to tell you now ain’t he?

- Time Skip -

The car pulls put out front of the new BigHit building, he looks at you shyly as he makes a head gesture that it was time to get out of the car. As you get out of the car, you look up at the building that towards over a hundred feet over your head, that tall that it looks as though it’s directly above your head. Your head snaps to Hoseok as he goes to open the door, waiting for you to walk in so he could walk behind you, “Lift to the left, floor 4.” he sighs, as you glance around this new building. What you had read in the car is slowly coming to pieces in your mind. Is this why he’s unresponsive a lot, why he’s always tired, why he’s never had you over to his place? It must be. 

“Hobi...” you said questly, but he looks at you, then looks at his feet as the doors of the lift close, jerking before going up to the needed floor. You follow him down the hallway where you heard loud laughter and music coming inside a room near the end of the hall. He pushes the door open slowly, “Hey guys! I’m here with Y/N,” they all look over and stop the music, giving off shy, short smiles, knowing that this is the worst thing for Hobi to do as he treasures your friendship so much. They grab their stuff, and chill in the next room. 

You walk into the big practice room, it’s huge but you feel like it’s closing in on you as that feeling of being untrusted haunts you again. Hobi walks towards, you and before he could even let a since syllable out, you couldn’t help but blurt out what you found out on the ride there, “I know, Hobi. You’re this huge star, my best friend is part of a group, and is known world wide... Why didn’t you tell me? Did you not trust me enough?” You asked, as he stood there, eyes wide open at your outburst, he sighed, and took a seak, tapping the chair next to him for you to sit down on. “Y/N, it’s not that I couldn’t, trust you...” you gave him evils unknowlingly, thinking he was lying, “I was worried that if you knew of my fame and all, that you’d use me for it, as a way to be popular yourself because your best friend was in the biggest group known.. that you wouldn’t love me, for me” his eyes started to water, but he fights back the tears. You internal anger releases from your body after noticing how genuienly concerned and upset he was about this, you could tell that this friendship meant a lot to him. 

All you could do in that moment was hug him, gently carressing his hair as he broke under you. 

“Hobi~ah,” famous or not, you’ll always be my best friend. But now I get to share every success with you, and I’ll always be your #1 fan,” you finally let out as he pulls away, showing the biggest grin he could, wiping away his tears. He was so relieved, and seeing your pinky poking up towards him, ensured him that this was the truest and bestest friendship he was ever going to have. “Pinky promise” you whisper, giggling as he pulls you in for a hug.

Thank you sooooo much for helping! Now I have a lot to listen to. I already listen 24k but forgot to add it, they are amazing! About the girl groups: Jaja yeah I def. should😅. I've heard a lot of girl group songs but the ones I like the most are from BlackPink. I really like the lyrics of all groups, maybe is the high tone of voice of some of them? If you know any that dont sing too "high" I'd def. listen it

I’m living somehow 😂 But I must say that kpop has taken over my life a long time ago 😂
