#they sounded so much like nirvana i had to find their wiki and they did indeed list them as an inspiration#alongside a lot of old school vkei obviously not to discredit that#but i felt very vindicated lol#i was also listening to deftones and they reminded me a lot of chevelle but neither of them mentioned each other....#deftones credited tool among others and i definitely hear it ofc but i remember being very. bored by tool#i hate slow music i hate music with not enough variety i hate long meandering music#anyway deadman. is really good give them a listen#.dxt
