I wanted to start doing something new and feature each villager on their actual birthday, so they have a more special day! Without further ado please let me introduce you to Rod! He's a purple powerhouse of a jock villager. He may be a wee mouse but he is here to rumble!

About

Rod is a purple mouse with pink inner ears and yellow-green hair. He's got white whiskers on the sides of his face, darker purple paws, and wears a white and blue striped bandana.

He was born on August 14th making him a Leo! His catchphrase is ace and his favourite saying is "if you can't beat 'em, work harder!" And I think that is so fitting of a jock, and super inspirational too.

Rod is a jock villager, so he is very energetic and loves working out. He'll often be seen running, exercising, or carrying small weights. He gets along well with smug and peppy villagers best. Snooty villagers may feel offended when he critiques their level of fitness and may even annoy cranky villagers with his rambunctious personality.

Showcasing more villager houses! This time its: Anabelle!

Anabelle first moved in around the time when the game kept throwing anteaters at me. Between random move-ins and island tours alone, I had over five anteater villagers on my island at one point. She was one of the ones I found on a NMT and is my favorite Peppy villager by far. As per usual with this game, her default house was. awful.

With her iconic blue muumuu (sadly not seen here), her favorite song being K.K. Aloha, and owning a decent amount of the rattan set in the past games, I originally wanted to do a more tropical theme for her house. However, I had 2+ other villagers with the rattan set at the time, and didn’t want to go overboard. Her default house has a lot of the simple set, so I went off of that, and aimed for a “this pop-star has moved to a remote island to get away from it all” vibe.

I kept the house bright to match not only her peppy personality, but also the default exterior of her house. Also put some pieces in her favorite colors (green and blue). I like to keep as many default items as I can, and it was pretty easy with this one.

In the past games, Anabelle had the Floral Wall in her house. That doesn’t seem to exist in this game, so I went with the Chic Wall. There also wasn’t any green flooring that I liked, so I added the Natural Flooring to stick with the simple theme, then put down a light blue rug to add some more cool colors and better section off the “living room”.

I like to try to give the villagers as many of the basic amenities of life as possible AND leave room for them to walk around. Villagers cannot shit-step into half block areas like players can. I’ve been to dream islands where the villager houses were so full, the poor animals only had 1-2 blocks of walking room. Not a fun way to live, if you ask me.

And finally, the exterior of her house! I might actually change this. Bump the garden down and give her a lil driveway with a scooter to better add to her theme.

My First Day Back in ACNH 🌱

So, like I mentioned in my first post, I stopped playing ACNH in January because of life being overwhelming - but last week I finally got back to the game, and had the idea to finally create an ACNH blog! Hello my friends, it's Bee again! Here to tell you all about this peppy brown rabbit. Iiiiiit's Bonbon! Let me introduce you to her!

About

Bonbon is a brown rabbit with blonde hair. She has light pink paws, cheeks, and eyeshadow with a yellow nose. If you look closely she also has dark brown shoes with straps that go over her ankles.

Upon initial meeting, Bonbon sports a mint sleeveless tunic. Her catchphrase is "deelish." And her favourite saying is "Hindsight is always 20/20." I wonder what happened in her past to make her realise that!

Bonbon is described as peppy - she is quite stubborn, forgetful, and has an interest in sugary snacks. That must explain her sweet name! She can be seen holding a comic book, chocolate popsicle, classy purse, cup of coffee, or a smoothie!

Her favourite styles of clothing are cute and elegant! Her favourite colours are yellow and aqua. It is described in the Happy Home Paradise DLC that Bonbon wants "the best house on the block!" Bonbon's birthday is March 3rd which makes her a Pisces.
