Wanda always felt like things were...unsettled between her and Tony. Truth be told, by the time she had come around to the Avengers, let alone joining them, there just hadn’t been time. She went from stagnating in a cell, barely able to feel anything more than hate, to suddenly pushing the limits of her powers and figuring out just how she fit into a team that was larger than her and Pietro. And things only took a sharper plunge down from there. But, in the aftermath of everything, it seems petty to not let the old grudges go. But every time she tries to peel away the cold, cramped grasp on that lingering darkness, her feelings slip back into their old, comfortable position curled around it. And, honestly, if Vision hadn’t managed to convince her to drop them complete, what hope does she really have now? She figures talking to Stark is her last chance to give up the pain. She absolutely doesn’t need any more than what is already hanging heavily in his heart. But all the best intentions aren’t going to force the words out of her mouth now that she’s face to face with him. “I...I guess I should have known we were not getting rid of you so easily.”
