Morning after | Jungkook x Reader | Fluffy Story
Tumblr media
Pairing: Jungkook x Reader Keywords: one-night stand, f2l Warnings: like one swear word Word count: around 1,000 Masterlist
Jungkook’s heart rate picked up as he looked over the caller’s ID. He mouthed Yn’s name, bringing back the memories of the night before when he was moaning it over and over. There was no point in prolonging her wait. Quickly excusing himself and walking out onto the balcony he slid his finger over the phone’s screen to answer the call.
“Hey, dude. I left my bra at your house. Can I come over to pick it up, like, now?”
Jungkook’s eyebrows scrunched together as he listened to the girl on the other end of the line. Her voice sounded quite rough and grainy through the phone.
“Hey, dude?” he asked as he didn’t like the nickname she chose to call him.
“What? You want me to say “Hey, sweetie”?”
He smiled at the sound of slight sarcasm in her tone.
“Yeah, actually. I’d like that,” he said upon deciding to play her game.
Yn sighed deeply, exhaling into the speaker.
“Okay, give me a second.”
And just like that, she ended the call, leaving Jungkook alone on his friend’s balcony. He stared at the device in his hand more than a little confused but before he could come to any conclusions it started ringing again.
“Hey, baby,” he smiled again, basking in the overly sweet yet casual tone of the girl’s voice. “What are you doing?”
“I’m at a friend’s house,” he said, making sure to speak slowly and in a low pitched tone.
“Oh, okay. Should I call later? Are you busy?”
She sounded genuinely concerned as if taking up the time he had set aside for his friends was something forbidden.
“No, I’ve got time for you.”
“Gosh, aren’t you just perfect?” she giggled into the speaker.
“What? Why?” he asked, grinning to himself.
“Ninety per cent of being a good partner is just being there. And you are. You’re the sweetest.”
Jungkook looked down at his feet, blushing at the heartfelt compliment.
“You’re good at this,” he murmured, stifling a light laugh.
“Good at what? I’m just stating facts here, sweetie. Anyway, how are you? You having fun with friends?”
She carried on the conversation, waving off his comment and keeping her character.
“Yeah, we’re setting up Joon’s new PlayStation right now,” he said truthfully as he was unable to make up an interesting lie in the heat of the moment.
“Sounds awesome. Well, I don’t want to hold you back from all that so I’ll be quick.”
“Okay, what’s up?”
She took in a sharp breath before speaking and Jungkook felt the excitement grow in his chest despite the fact he already knew what she was going to say.
“Remember how I stayed the night yesterday?”
“I do. Vividly.”
“Yeah, so I think I might have left my bra at your place. You might wonder how does a person forget their bra?” he imagined her shaking her head at the silliness of the whole situation, her hair down and lips curved in a smile. “Well, I wanted to be comfy for breakfast and left it in the bathroom under your clothes. I think.”
“You think?” he chuckled.
“Well, I hope I did. If not I must have lost it during the day and that would just be silly.”
“So I presume you want it back?” he asked teasingly.
“It would be great to have it back. Yes,” she agreed, following his tone.
“You know I could just come over to wherever you are right now and bring it to you.”
“And you’re not just trying to weasel your way into spending the night at my place?”
And there it was again - the blushing. He wasn’t even talking to the girl in person and she still managed to have that effect on him.
“There’s only one way to find out,” he purred and Yn sighed again, making him bite his lips in anticipation.
“As amazing as that sounds I wouldn’t want to pull you away from hanging out with your boys-”
“Forget about my boys,” he exclaimed almost immediately. “I’m getting my keys, picking you up and we’re going for dinner. If you’re up for it, of course, I’m not trying to pressure you into-”
“When you put it like that how could I say no?” she interrupted him before he would totally back out of the confident act he put up. “I’ll text you the address.”
“I’ll be there as soon as I can.”
“See you, baby.”
Jungkook bit his lip, curling his free hand into a fist out of excitement.
Dinner. Jokes. Walk down the river. Watching the sunset while leaning against each other. Playing boyfriend and girlfriend for the whole afternoon turned out to be great entertainment for both Yn and Jungkook that night.
“Oh, wait. I almost forgot.”
She turned around, making her hair fall right off her shoulder in a beautiful cascade.
“You’ve got my bra? Jungkook?”
The man’s face immediately dropped. He quickly put on a deeply apologetic expression, smiling slightly despite the disappointment in Yn’s eyes.
“I… Forgot.”
“Jungkook,” she whined, her shoulders sinking down as he started to ramble nervously.
“Shit. I really did. I didn’t even stop by my house. I just went straight to get you-”
“Is this just some elaborate way of asking me to come over again?”
The girl stared him down with her eyebrow raised and arms across her chest but Jungkook failed to fish out the joking tone of her voice. He was too focused on getting across his point which was that he didn’t forget her bra on purpose as to not come out looking like some fuckboy.
“No, I swear-”
“‘Cause if it is you could have just asked me. I would have agreed.”
His mouth fell agape at the sound of Yn’s statement, this time stripped from any teasing.
“Would you?”
“Obviously. And even if I didn’t want to go I would have to pick up my poor bra,” she chuckled, hitting his right shoulder with her own as she walked past him and back towards his car.
“Now that I think of it I don’t think you’ll be needing it for a while,” he murmured, quickly turning in his spot and walking right by her side to open the passenger door for her.
“You’re nasty,” she hissed, a playful expression painted across her features.
“You love it.”
