ok so this is a little self indulgent! lol it’s gonna be an Allitoshi event! ✨ wakatoshi is going to take over my account for a few days to answer some questions!

Ushi is... a little dense. Not dumb... just dense. But you find it his most endearing trait. Sometimes you really do think that there’s nothing in his brain but fresh produce and a volleyball- but there are other times when he can be so profound that it would leave anyone speechless.

One of those times just so happened to be today, as you lazily spread yourselves out on the couch in a rare moment of relaxation for the young volleyball legend. Even on his days off, he would work out- but this time, you were able to coax him into ONE movie.

“Isn’t this nice,” you remarked, looking over at him to see his brow furrowing at the movie.

“I guess so, but I also wouldn’t say that The Notebook is my movie of choice...”

“We can watch something different if you want,” you laughed. “I’ve seen this a thousand times.”

“What do you like so much about it?” He sat upright, giving you his full attention. He really wanted to know.

“It’s just, the power of love,” you began, eyes glassing over just like something out of a fairytale.

“You can’t keep people apart if they’re meant to be- Noah found every way back to Allie, even when everything was against him...”

Ushijima watched your expression as you rambled. He loved every curvature of your face, the lines on your cheeks when you smiled, the way your eyes lit up, the gestures you made to talk with your hands.... seeing you so excited and passionate made him just as excited and passionate, but about you.

“It just proves that when the right person is in your life, you’ll never be able to get rid of them.” You ended your rant with a dreamy sigh.

“Would you ever want to get rid of me?” Ushi questioned.

You were in shock. Almost instantly, you maneuvered yourself to where your boyfriend was, wrapping your arms around his large frame and giving him tons of little kisses all over his face.

“Absolutely not, Ushi,” you chided him. “You are kind of stuck with me at this point,” you stated with a giggle.

He looked at you. His face was stern and serious. Almost too serious.

“I love you. I want to be in your life, if you’ll let me...”

“You’ve been in my life for like, 3 years, Ushi- so yes. I will let you. I love you too.”

You gave him another kiss.

“Now let’s pick a different movie... one with less dramatic thought,” you laughed, grabbing the remote.

i like the song “whatever comes to mind” by mormor, its really relaxing and reminds me of when we nap lol.

alli also showed me “she likes spring, i prefer winter” by slchld, and “everlasting light” by the black keys. i always listen to those two songs whenever i miss her.

i wanna answer this one. we went out for frozen yogurt on our first date, we had gone there a thousand times before, but never as a couple. we went for a walk afterwards. also, alli put a LOT of toppings on her froyo, it ended up costing more than mine and-

9.) what do you think your first impression of them would be?

if i met alli in high school, i would’ve been intimidated by her. her personality is much brighter and bubblier than mine, and i like that about her. a lot. she gets along with nearly anyone she meets.

i think anyone would be intimidated by you, toshi... i mean look at you. i’m surprised you’d be intimidated by me!

19.) how compatible are your mbti’s?

oh my god our mbti’s are so different. i’m an enfp, i am very emotionally open and sociable, and kinda all over the place LOL

i’m an istj, i always like to be organized and plan things out a lot more while alli is very spontaneous. i think we balance each other out really well, though.

3.) what type of dates would you two mostly go on? do you guys have a “date spot” ?

we usually like to just go on walks and talk about anything. alli loves sitting outside in nature so sometimes we spend all day walking around and finding places to eat. our date spot is a little spot by the river where we have little picnics. she falls asleep on me a lot. it’s quite adorable.

6.) how do you think their friends would feel about you?

our friends were excited! at least mine were. his friends were very surprised since toshi isn’t very vocal about his love life to his friends. we all get along really well though!

8.) how would you know them? ( ex: same homeroom, same route to school, etc.)

we’re childhood friends. i was her first friend when she moved into my neighborhood, and we were inseparable at first. then in middle school, we weren’t as close because our personalities became so different, but we still kept in touch. either way, i found my way back to you, didn’t i?

yeah, we started talking again during third year and we realized how we felt about each other, and everything came naturally since then :)

hmmmm this is a good question! im biased so id wanna travel to the philippines hehehe id love to teach you more about where i’m from, toshi. outside of that, id wanna travel throughout europe! just spend a few days in each country.

ushi’s love language is a tie between quality time and acts of service. i think im more verbal with showing love but i think id be pretty good at it:)

2.) who normally plans the dates?

i like to plan them a lot more. alli’s a little more spontaneous, sometimes she just suggests doing something she’s feeling that day. it’s always an adventure with her.

ill keep it simple to the sun signs lol. im a pisces and toshi is a leo! water + fire sign combo makes us veryyyy different in a lot of aspects, like im very sensitive and toshi can be really direct sometimes, but we learned to balance each other out really well!

friends to lovers is the first one to come to mind. i don’t know if this is a cliché, but i think “opposites attract” applies too...right?
