I'm crushed. This could be selfish for saying this out loud, but I miss everything about Greater Nevada Field. I miss seeing people walk through the gates for the first time as much as I miss Reno Aces season ticket holders. I miss Archie and the promo team who helps execute the on-field games. I miss the scent of fresh popped corn in the air mixed with the sound of people laughing with friends, family while gathering for a few hours of fun. I miss the fireworks. Most important, I miss seeing the game through the eyes of the kids who come to see the next round of superstars. I'd be lying if I didn't confess to the tears in my eyes as I'm typing this. I know we're living in a really weird time and believe we'll power through to rise above but holy hell, I am bummed out right now. Go away, COVID. No one wants you around.
