I have an entire landury list of peoples I do not want to live in world without, but in this particular moment, I am focused on the Jewish peoples.

The Jews don't control the media or Hollywood, or anything. They have made signifigant contributions to the arts via their talents as creatives.

Au where Vanilla overcome by grief that White Lily became Dark Enchantress and pitying the rejected cookies of the world joins them. He joined with the intentions of helping them learn to fight against their fates without hurting other people.

But since he's not the leader and is closely monitored by DE (who warned the others not to listen to him) he's more of a weak minion than anything else. Dark Enchantress has mixed feelings about his alliedship as she just wants his powers, but doesn't have the heart to kill him them. So he's kept around begrudgingly to follow orders she gives.

He's still trying to save people despite the circumstances tho and learns the stories of all the members as he tries to help them get their lives in order without DE finding out.

I get a little annoyed over time about performative alliedship to be honest, particularly from institutions.

Using institutions of higher ed, as that is where my husband and I have our careers, they’ll make a big deal about recognizing at events that these are the grounds of the such and such people and plopping pronouns in signatures (and pressuring the rest of the staff to the same regardless of whether or not that’s cool with them) and then turn around and do jack shit for their own students and employees that fall within those demographics are and dealing with hate on their own campus.

But they’ve done the outwardly woke thing and pat themselves on the back and call it a day.
