a) ignore the vampire characters aging. it's not that big of a deal.

b) maybe they're choosing to look older via makeup or shapeshifting to go under the radar / for 'the look.'

c) lore-related reason why they'd look older (drinking 'low-quality' blood, blood-deprivation, sun-exposure, etc.)

d) 'what do you mean? we've always looked like this.'

e) brushing it off as a joke with a good forlorn 'you know what jail/prison does to a guy. to a vampire.' / 'you know what they do to guys like us in prison' - mcr.
