Every time life brought pain, I went to dragon age as if it were home, and after a while I left there full of strength to fight on.. As far as I'm concerned, it doesn't matter if they're fictional or not, they healed my soul and gave me what others couldn't or wouldn't give.. and for that matter .. considering that people generally wear masks ... then who else is real??..

not to go all cringe on main but fictional characters have genuinely helped me through some of the worst shit in my life n i’ll forever be grateful to fiction for giving me comfort when i’ve needed it most
