am i insane? probably. moving on.

slide 1: first day(s)??? same fits for terra & flora in that sneak peek, all in the winx suite together and yet at the stone circle musa & bloom have changed but the others haven’t?? and also can’t find flora to save my life in the crowd so maybe that’s beforehand and then we meet flora? also stella is def spying on sky & riv in what is maybe the war room area at some point that day?? idk all this feels like a definite time jump and i am READY to be shown the changes via the girls plotting away.

slide 2: feels like it’s early after the first slide because bloom is unhappy with controlling her emotions (does she get embarrassed by marco in the stone circle???) also i *think* bloom is wearing the same thing here aaaand musa is still close with the girls (more on this to come)

slide 3: it’s A Lot but bare with me. this is where i think musa starts to drift apart. highly recommend watching the clip of them all using their magic together because you’ll see aisha give musa a very concerned look and question her (someone who can lip read help me out) and musa is clearly Not Happy about this all, which makes sense considering her little magic beam is practically nonexistent. is this all after the talk with riven and training and totally being like you know what he’s fucking right i don’t want to be a mind fairy look i’m not even good at this fuck it (you know, getting in her *head* about it all and therefore weakening her powers). or is the training with riven after she realizes she’s not as strong as the other girls and she’s like fuck ill go to the one guy who may just get being an outsider/cast and she then gets vulnerable with him???? fuck me either way. NOT TO MENTION bloom is somehow off campus during the day at this diner, back on campus in the room to do magic beam circle, back off campus or at least away from the group when they’re with sky at the barrier??? color me v intrigued.

slide 4: THE GRAPEVINE PUB AKA THE CLUB. v excited for this one because musa is doing a lot. you can see the green tan under that jacket in the bus, then its the same things shes wearing while dancing with flora and then she’s also running away on stairs that SUSPICIOUSLY look like the ones at the DUBLIN HELLFIRE CLUB???? oh lordy. should be a fun outing fam 👀

slide 5: the official “musa is off doing her own thing” timeframe. allllll wearing the same outfits we see here and guess what? musa is off training with specialists while the rest of the winx suite is off at the barrier doing little spins and twirls to what? break the reinforced barrier??? and then aisha’s new boo comes in to play here too??? v excited to see how musa denies her powers and the other girls continue to get stronger. GIMME ANGST NOW.

Fate: The Winx Sage Epiosde 1 Reaction Part 2

Okay, we’re back with the second half of the first Episode of Fate: The Winx Sage. If you haven’t read my thoughts and comments on the first half of my reaction, you can find it Here! We last left off to Bloom heading off outside the barrier to try and practice her magic. Unable to conger anything, she pulls out her phone and beings looking at the pictures on it. Let’s continue!

25:30 - Okay, I’m tired of the story line of ‘this character is super angsty because they don’t have friends and are very lonely’. Like, yes, I am aware that people need friends and need to socialize. But, as someone who a, enjoys their alone time, and b, often needs breaks from people as a whole because I mentally can’t handle it, the plotline of so uncalled for. Not to mention, a person can be alone and not be lonely.

THEORY: It’s not a complete theory because of how the show it’s setting things up to tell us this, but I am guessing that at some point, Bloom had a fight with her mom/her parents which caused her to lose control and destroyed her home or at the very least, her bedroom. Also, I think that Headmistress Dowling used magic to keep her parents from knowing what really happened because of a, their lack of concern about Bloom and her magic, b, their complete unawareness of magic as a whole, and c, Stella’s pervious comment of Headmistress Dowling keeping humans unaware of the Otherworld. 

26:30 - First look of magic, and I’m liking the effects! It’s something simple so I may have different thoughts later, but so far it’s nice. Not to mention, I am a sucker for the glowing eyes trope. I adore it. Even back in part one when Musa’s eyes glowed for a moment, I am completely weak for it. 

27:30 - And of course the panic and fear of not being able to control the magic, which in turn makes the magic more unstable. An understandable but slightly over used situation. 

28:00 - Pulling water out of the ground, I like it! I feel like most of the time it’s simply conquering it out of the air or just nowhere, so pulling it out of the ground is nice! 

THEORY: Is Bloom not being able to control her magic due to simply not having the training, or is the the actual magic, the literal Dragon Flame, that has more power over Bloom whenever she uses her magic that is making her so unstable? Because she snaps at Aisha but the second the other girl was in danger, and Bloom’s eyes stopped glowing, she started to worry and wanted the Aisha to be safe. 

28:40 - Again with the angsty pushing people away trope! UGH!

29:00 - OKAY REALLY NOT LIKING THE MOM! Dad is on the fence for not doing anything, but right now it’s really the mom that I’m done with. I want Vanessa, not this lady. 

30:00 - I didn’t hate the mom that much, damn...

33:00 - I am interested in the idea of Bloom being a changeling. Again, not sure if that’s actually what’s happening or just Aisha’s own theory, but it’s an interesting take on the situation. 

35:00 Okay, go off Terra. I am glad they’re not making Terra super sweet, because making her ready to fight back, even if it’s just in this one situation, it makes her very different than Flora, and I like that. 

36:40 - I have so many mixed feelings about Stella. Now, I am assuming that Stella’s parents are divorced, and if that is the case, it would be nice to see how she is working with that.

37:40 - Okay, I take it back. This Stella is just a bitch, isn’t she? There’s nothing underneath any of that right now, she’s just the mean girl trope. I’m going to keep up hope for character development. Also, they are really hinting at Stella and Sky having a thing. ALSO, MIND FAIRY? I’M LOVING THAT.

38:16 - Is this going to be one of those things where Bloom doesn’t close the portal behind her, a Burned One crosses over and tries to attack humans? 

42:00 - I am also holding out that we will get Daphne.

42:20 - I KNEW IT WAS COMING AND I KNOW IT DOESNT COUND AS A JUMPSCARE, STILL DONT LIKE IT THO

43:13 - Hi yes, all interest in the Burned Ones are gone. I would like them removed please? 

44:20 - Okay, leaving my anxiety with the Burned One, I have moved on to my discomfort and dislike of Stella and Sky. Whom is Silva? I am interested in that because I don’t think they would be adding in a girlfriend for Sky and if they did, I would expect it to be Diaspro. I want to see Stella work and struggle to be better, I do, and I also know that working to be a better person often comes with relapses. It’s not realistic for her to change over night. I just don’t want the show to twist her progress (or lack of progress) as a personality and just leaving her in the in between place of being who she was and being better. Because Stella clearly knows she doesn’t have a right to Sky’s attention because she ended things and she clearly regrets putting Bloom in the position she did, I just want to see the growth the Stella can go through. I am also glad that they didn’t have Sky kiss Stella. Just a hug. They broke up, there needs to be clear boundaries for the both of them, so they can both grow as people. 

THEORY: Beatrix is actually a witch, or a dark fairy, if they are going that route. There hasn’t been any mention of the witches and I’m a little sad about that. 

THEORY: Seeing as where I paused, they are probably going to answer this in a couple of seconds, but what if Musa doesn’t have full control over her own powers? When she was talking to Stella, she had to really concentration. What if she just hears other people’s thoughts and it’s hard to sort them out? That’s why she had to concentration so hard on Stella and why she wears her headphones so much, to block out other people’s thoughts. 

48:30 - Okay, I was kinda right. Empath, so more with emotions than thoughts. 

49:30 - Rosalind has been mentioned again. I am very interested in her. 

49:50 - POSSIBLE QUEER REPESENTATION? BECAUSE I AM HERE FOR THAT!! I just hope it doesn’t turn into a thing, Terra likes Dane, Dane likes Riv, kind of thing. Far to much drama, but then again, it’s a teen show, so I can’t fault it to much for that. 

51:00 - BEATRIX IS STORMY, I’M CALLING IT RIGHT NOW. Also, if I’m right on this, bea-Trix, not ever sublet.
