ok so apparently all the voices have a little ability ? of some sort that comes from different forms of trauma responses and the sake of safety so im going to list what i think they are. im open to discussion
tldr: they all are their own form of trauma response
with the obvious:
The Voice of the Paranoid with reign over the system. It goes with the fact that someone with anxiety has more stress responses than the average person, he knows how to keep the heart from exploding. His response is pretty clear, the nightmare is very clearly traumatizing. His focus works on survival from the inside.
The Voice of the Hunted has his animalistic instinct and heightened senses. I stand by the fact that he could hold his own better than any other voice in a battle to the death. Though he may not outsmart an enemy, his focus works to keep the system safe.
The Voice of the Hero is, in a way, inconsistent. I think his ability has to do with adaptability. I also have this minor headcanon that he isn't quite the same as the other voices, since he's always kind of there. He can reach the Quiet even when others cannot. His interactions with and reactions to the princess depend on the player more than any other thing. His focus is less of a Hero, and more of an ally.
The Voice of the Broken is fear in a way Paranoid is not. His fear makes him small, but more powerful. In the instance of "Fight or Flight," his response is "Fawn," as in he will use his power to give in to the fear. His will and fear are very powerful compared to the others, being able to control the Quiet's actions without much effort. In a way, his focus is making himself powerless.
The Voice of the Cold is pretty infamous for being as unfeeling as possible. I believe this is not just his little emo persona, I think his focus has shifted in a way that he has become unfeeling (usually as a result of turning off after being stuck in Nothing for "eternity"). His focus is a straightforward lack of empathy as a response to the trauma of nothingness and murder.
The Voice of the Opportunist is like the Hero with adaptability, but that is not his focus. He works with self-interest in mind. He is focused on self-improvement, with the self becoming the best and most powerful. When others backstab, and when you, yourself are a backstabber, it is often that one learns from this to get a vantage point. He is very clever to the best situation and outcome, not caring how he gets there. His focus is the self's best interest.
The Voice of the Stubborn is a very angry little guy. Fight or Flight, his choice is pretty obvious. In the route of the Adversary, of which he is the foil, his response is to become the enemy. He has to fight her, until it becomes a game where "nobody can get hurt." He, like Paranoid, can keep the body from stopping. Remind you of anyone named Frisk Undertale? His focus comes down to denial and determination. He won't let himself be the victim.
The Voice of the Skeptic is, of course, constantly questioning. Once bitten, twice shy, as we all know. The lies , this time from the Narrator, are definitely stress-inducing, and coming from someone that preaches trust, it is not so easy to replenish the guy's trust in anything. His views can venture beyond what is available; he is the first to think outside of the box. It comes down to the focus of self-preservation, the opposition to the Opportunist's focus of self-interest.
The Voice of the Contrarian is similar, but it can be argued that he isn't exactly a trauma response. He is just a reaction to the self. There is a disorder (i cant remember the name) where its just constant denial and contradiction, and that feels more like him than anything. But we all know Conty. It's very clear his focus is Brewing Chaos. His affect can literally alter reality as the reality is being perceived.
The Voice of the Smitten is ... a little bit sad. I'm sure we all know about stockholm syndrome, but in a lot of instances, Smitten will trauma bond with the princess. It's as if she can do no wrong, right? even when she kills you? Multiple times? And will again? ? ? The sheer denial and willingness to be hurt is, yes, another trauma response, wanting the person you love to be perfect, and hoping that they are. His focus is effort; trying his best to love and be loved. Often in vain. It is arguable that his affect effects reality more than any other Voice.
Last but not least, The Voice of the Cheated. Thought of as weak, but could have been more if he was "treated fairly." Anyone who feels as though they have been treated unfairly in the past knows the desire to have things be fair. In the route of the Razor, he also has an incredible resolve and determination. His stubbornness comes from a need to "settle the score." He can unify, and eventually "empty the cup," as in letting go of his vengeance. All of the voices do not bother him. If anything, he is glad that everyone can have their effect, and he hopes his efforts will be enough. His focus is equality, and unity.

Thinking about the voices giving each other nicknames, so decided to share some headcanons I have for possible nicknames for each one and who gave/calls them that (most of these were given by either Contrarian or Cheated lmao):
Cold: Frosty (Cheated called him that once, and everyone adopted it), ice cube, “cool guy” (Contrarian especially loves using that one), and ‘cold-hearted friend’ (given by Smitten, and Skeptic also sometimes use it to refer to him)
Paranoid: ‘Noid, Para, Twitchy-Feathers, flighty friend (Smitten), and nervous system (Contrarian learned the ‘Hearts, Lungs, Liver, Nerves’ thing from Hero and immediately started calling her that)
Smitten: Smitty, loverboy, lovey-dovey, drama queen, lovebird (Smitten relishes in all of these)
Skeptic: Thinky-face (Cheated uses it in my fic, and it was them who coined it too), smart guy, The Brains (Opportunist, Hero, and Paranoid all called him that at different moments, and without having heard it from each other)
Cheated: Charlie Charlie, Anger Management (Contrarian called them that once, Cheated hated it, so he kept using it) and short fuse (mainly Skeptic)
Stubborn: Stubby, Rage-boy (this one’s canon! [also by Contrarian]), ‘fight enthusiast’, and muscles (Opportunist called him ‘the Muscles’ as more of a job description, but everyone else adopted it as a nickname)
Broken: Oki (Contrarian felt bad calling them ‘Broken’ so he started suggesting nicknames and Broken liked Oki the most), Plan B (also Contrarian), ray of sunshine, rain cloud, and little guy (gender neutral)
Opportunist: Oppy, sleazeball, conman, ‘that grifter’, and ‘smooth guy’ (Opportunist thinks it’s used genuinely, it is not)
Hunted: Hunter (Contrarian used it ironically once and then just kept using it), scaredy cat, rabid rabbit, watching hawk (and just a bunch of animal-related nicknames), The Thing, The Creature, and little freak
Contrarian: Contra, clown, jester, airhead, “comedy genius” (mainly used by Cheated), and sunflower (only Hero uses this one <3)
Hero: Prince Charming, dashing, darling, my knight, buttercup (all by Contrarian <3), and heroic friend (Smitten)
Oh, and note: Smitten has a “[___] friend” nickname for all of them, I just put in the ones I thought were funnier.

I've referenced before how I have a big google document to keep track of every media I've ever seen in my entire life (just for reference because I like to track everything possible lol… I am the Data Collector), but recently as I was updating it, I thought of actually evaluating them to find out random percentages (like for example, out of Total Shows Watched, what percentage did I finish vs. stop watching, what percentage did I like or dislike, etc.)...
Evaluating these things is made easier by the fact that I already place everything on each subsection of the list into 6 broad ranking categories, so I don't have to go back and guess to figure out how I feel about them or anything. The categories are: Ranking 5 - overall best* (despite some criticisms of course because I'm too much of an Analyzer to ever find anything Perfect lol) Ranking 4 - more positive than neutral, but not good enough to be 5 Ranking 3 - either the good + bad negate each other, OR it's just not memorable/interesting in any way enough to be ranked higher or lower (this is the Default category ALL things are placed in if no other rank applies) Ranking 2 - maybe a few redeemable elements but largely more negatives than positives Ranking 1 - So bad that it circles around to being fascinating to observe in some way (not necessarily Funny, or Good, but just interesting somehow) Ranking 0 - Bad in a genuinely frustrating or obnoxious manner
*("best" primarily defined here as most interesting, rather than most good in a technical sense, or some other measure. I tend to value more highly whether there's something novel or thoughtful about the worldbuilding, tone, writing, base premise, etc - than about whether it's actually executed perfectly.)
And here's the amount of shows that have so far been placed into each category -
TV shows ~ Rank 5 (highest) - 20 shows ~ Rank 4 (mid-high) - 28 shows ~ Rank 3 (neutral/default/meh) - 114 shows ~ Rank 2 (mid low) -33 shows ~ Rank 1 (low low but intriguingly so) - 14 shows ~ Rank 0 (iredeemably low) - 2 shows
This would make for a total of 211 TV shows overall. However, there are 57 shows within these list marked as "didn't finish" (typically meaning I quit on the very first or second episode - but log them still to keep a record that I at least had a brief view of them).
So my total of genuinely fully watched shows would be more 154. 211 Total, but a More Accurate Total of 154.
Counting them all and using the Total Number Of The List (211) -- that means roughly 9.5% of all total shows I have ever watched (or at least attempted to watch) have been Mostly Good, 13% have been Moderately Okay, 54% have been either entirely Forgettable or some mix of good + bad that lands them right in the Neutral Middle, 15.6% have been Mostly Bad, 6.6% have been Bad (but in an interesting way), and 0.9% have been Terribly Bad.
Additionally, I didn't even get past the first two episodes of about 27% of the total.
Sooo, discounting ones I didn't finish, my total TV shows ever watched in my life would be about 154 (maybe give or take a few, assuming I might have forgotten some from very long ago).
But instead of entire life, let's just say this is the total for 'About 20 Years' (so, not counting very early childhood when I likely wouldn't remember things I saw/have no detailed recollection of them (like for example, I'm sure at some point when I was like 4yrs old I must have seen an episode of Spongebob or something, but I have zero distinct memories of it, can't quote anything of it, and barely recall the premise - so I don't count it on the list, etc.)).
In that case, 154 divided by 20 would be roughly 7.7 shows a year.
Which is actually surprisingly low considering that I often have stuff on in the background for hours whilst I make sculptures and do costumes and stuff (maybe I should have also marked some distinction between 'things I fully paid attention to' and 'things I kind of half listened to whilst sculpting', but that would further split the categories too much probably lol), but I guess a lot of that is youtube videos or random documentaries, so .. eh.. maybe I get it being lower.
Now, doing the same thing for movies-
Movies ~ Rank 5 (highest) - 4 movies (3.4% of total) ~ Rank 4 (mid-high) - 12 movies (10.3% of total) ~ Rank 3 (neutral/default/meh) - 91 movies (78.4% of total) ~ Rank 2 (mid low) - 8 movies (6.8% of total) ~ Rank 1 (low but interesting) - 1 movie (0.8% of total) ~ Rank 0 (irredeemably low) - none in this category (0%)
That makes 116 for a Total (Actually Remembered) Movies Watched In Lifetime (Or At Least In 20 Years).
116 divided by 20 is roughly 5 or 6 movies a year (I feel this has probably been skewed though by adding everything since like elementary school onwards, as I remember a lot more movies from child/teen years.. Whereas, the past 3 years I feel like I've barely seen maybe even 5 movies?? lol). I also have "Didn't Finish" marked on 18 of them. Which means I quit halfway through about 15% of the total movies.
So, a for broader summary stuff..
I seem to be less forgiving to movies than tv shows, by far. Which makes sense to me, I guess, because I love elaboration and details, so "short form" things that only last an hour or two are often lost on me a bit. My biggest complaint with movies is indeed usually walking away just wishing there had been more exposition, more scenes where characters are doing nothing, more "mindless bantering" conversations, more Quiet Downtime and Lore Elaboration and so on lol, so... of course most 1-2hr films end up feeling a bit Not Enough To Draw My Interest/Nothingy to me.
If you count 5 and 4 as "like" and rankings 2 to 0 as "dislike", then for TV shows I at least somewhat liked 48 of them, and at least somewhat disliked 47 of them.. So it's almost exactly the same lol. I'm just about equally as likely to find something bad as I am to find something redeeming about it. But overall, the largest chance is that I just won't really care much for it at all and it will be tossed into the 'neutral' pile, forgotten forever. Movies have a bit better of a balance, "liking" 16 of them, and "disliking" only 9 of them. So I'm slightly more likely to enjoy a movie than to find it annoying - though still VASTLY more likely to just not find it anything in particular, possibly not even finishing it.
ANYWAY.. this is vague and literally pointless, but like I said, I just really find information fun. Like my document where I've rated every apple flavor I've ever tried (like 40 of them now?), or reviewed every oreo flavor (32?), or ranking data from my entire 10 years of Trying To Make Friends process (out of 100 people, roughly 8% chance of a moderate compatibility, 3% chance of high), or etc. etc.. I love to have random pointless things to analyze I suppose lol.
I doubt anyone tracks things in their life in this same exact way, but I'd be interested in hearing any at least somewhat similar data !!! (like, how many TV shows you watch a year on average, and what percentage of those you like vs. dislike (if you keep track of that sort of thing), etc.)). I guess it might be easier with movies, since I think some people use those websites where you curate a list of movies you've seen and you can rate them or something, so maybe the numbers are already available on those places. :0
#maybe this is my version of spotify wrapped lol.. Lifetime Media Google Doc Wrapped.. kind of.. except I'm not going over specific titles.#I can't do this with music since I rarely EVER look for new music or add to my Youtube To MP3 folder library as I just don't really#listen to music that often. When I'm working (the majority of when I seek background noise) I need like.. people's talking voices#for some reason. Just instruments and singing are not distracting enough to me to work as background noise because theyre#almost TOO in the background if that makes sense? like if I put music on then I just tune it out and it's virtually no different#than if I were daydreaming stream of consciousness thoughts in an entirely quiet room lol. And I can't really do it with books since#essentially 100% of what I read is non-fiction. usually about some specific subject or academic topic OR stuff like#1800s magazines or cookbooks or historical people's diaries. Which is not really.. the type of thing I would#rank as easily I guess? like 'ooh yeah putting the sociology textbook in my top 5 hee hee right next to the 1920s radio recipes book' lol.#Then for games... I just sadly dont play enough of them. I've been banned from new games as I've told myself I cant play anyting#long form (no rpgs or etc) until I actually finish MY OWN game first - to keep me from wasting time. so on average#I play... 0 new games a year. ToT... I do play the sims sometimes but that's really all (which is not a new game at all since#I've been playing it on and off for years). Thus I guess movies/TV are really the only things that make sense#to collect this sort of information on. I could do youtube videos I guess also but that seems kind of strange like...#giving a rating to every single video I watch in a ranked list lol.. Especially since I would say a good 85% of the time#they are exclusively background noise whilst I'm working on something or cleaning the house or etc. and not things I pay serious attention#to. There are only a few specific topics/types/creators of videos I watch where I'm ACTUALLY sitting in front of a screen paying#direct attention to the content (usually when it's educational or political things). Everything else is too mindless to even rank.#ANYWAY... ever analyzing my little hermit Weird Relationship To Media (in the sense of seemingly not processing or getting the same#things out of it as many other seem to). I think that can contribute sometimes to the whole difficulty socializing and stuff#since our culture is very centered around media consumption generally speaking. People want to talk about The New Movie that came#out or The Big TV Show Of The Year. and for me it's like.. highly likely I just plain have NOT seen it. Or if i have. statistically#I most likely was entirely ambivalent if not slightly negative towards it lol. Which just kind of takes the steam out of a 'fun' 'casual'#conversation and you seem like a bit of a bummer if most of your only feedback is either 'idk what that is' or 'oh yea... i did#see that one.... i didnt like it all that much though... I think it'd be better with elves in it.. and 7 hours longer..'' lol..#Which I am not disliking things in a 'grr i hate it bc its popular'/just to be contrarian way. I actually dislike that mindset/find it#silly (by striving so hard to be counterculture you are thus still defining yourself by the whims of external culture - just in the#opposite direction. but are still just as preoccupied with the mainstream (going against it) as everyone else. etc. lol..)) In my#case I think it IS just having niche hyperspecific tastes.. for example- it peeves me when cell phones are in media bc I dont want to be#reminded at ALL of the real world. so.. cross off anything set in modern times. so on & etc. Judging all things by these weird criteria lol

Why do most of your voice designs have all their faces obscured? Also, could you draw what their faces look like?
This is a fun question! The real answer is a mix between:
- when designing them I wanted the voices to have the same "do they have a beak? Is it just a flat face?" deal that The Long Quiet has
- I wanted to keep the designs halfway between "bird monster" and "humanoid" (this resulted in a lot of them landing in furry territory)
- I can't draw beak mouths so that option was out but I didn't want to draw humans
Likewise, the actual answer to "what would they look like without their masks?" is just, a flat face without a nose. Which is kinda boring even if that's simply how I treat their faces when drawing them! So instead, I interpreted your question as, what would they have looked like if I went the full human route?

Ta-daaaaa! Honestly as interesting as this challenge was, the result is too unnatural for me! Where are my boys?? Who are these guys!?!????

somewhat inspired by @hello-universe-lovers to dump a bunch of headcanons onto my voices, so here goes.
tw: alcohol (obviously.)
the voices of the long quiet with alcohol
too lazy to draw, so just have a recycled cheated with a beer
Tumblr media
alright. here goes.
Hero — Doesn't really drink too much. He doesn't like the bitter taste of alcohol, and he doesn't really enjoy the feeling of being drunk either. He does get peer pressured into drinking pretty easily, though, but he's not the best at holding his liquor either. Often the first to fall asleep.
Hunted — They just straight up avoid alcohol like the plague. Can never be fooled into consuming the thing. Hates it.
Opportunist — Often overestimates his alcohol tolerance. Takes multiple shots at once, then proceeds to get drunk and do something really stupid. Such as making bets and losing them, before making really really horrible justifications that he did not, technically, lose them.
Or doing sassy poses on the bar, knocking down half the drinks in the process.
Or trying to confess his love to Smitten. Into Skeptic's face. While Smitten is nowhere to be found.
He also tries to convince the entire group that he's an excellent bartender. He ends up annoying them into letting him make the drinks. And then he tries to do a few bar tricks, only for it to fail, and then he gets broken glass all up Cheated's foot. While lying to the audience that it was actually supposed to end up like that. Totally.
Skeptic — Has surprisingly high tolerance. Is often witness to all the bullshit that ensues from the other Voices getting drunk and engaging in shenanigans.
However, when he does get drunk after forever, he proceeds to engage in philosophical ramblings about life, meaning, and the nature of existence. And then he randomly tries to start debates with the other voices. Which end up devolving into bar fights depending on the opposition. Lord have mercy when a drunk Skeptic approaches a drunk Stubborn and co.
Smitten — Buys a drink for the beautiful Princess. And another drink for the beautiful Princess. And another drink for the beautiful Princess. And another at her behest.
Except that this beautiful Princess is Oppy taking advantage of his kindness, because Smitten is already drunk.
And Smitten's alcohol tolerance isn't exactly as high as his twin brother's. After a very fancy cocktail or two, he begins warbling away a few serenades to the Princess, except the Princess is not there. Opportunist is, though. They're drinking buddies of a sort. And he gladly pretends to be a very pretty Princess for Smitten's sake.
Oppy does gossip for a bit with Smitten before he gets too drunk. He probably spiked his drink, but then again, he doesn't exactly try anything funny either.
Stubborn — His perception of a fair fight has been severely ruined by alcohol. Thus, he starts a bar fight with literally anybody. Most likely Cheated, who has to immediately get rushed to the infirmary afterwards.
Or, if Advy's invited, lord have mercy because the two of them would get into a drunken brawl and then the entire place would get completely thrashed.
Broken — He normally tries to abstain from alcohol unless it's for rituals or ceremonies or something. Keyword: tries. In the end, he always caves in because depression is a bitch.
Unfortunately, alcohol is also a bitch sometimes.
So at some point they find a drunk Broken huddled in a corner. And he's a sobbing, heaving, pathetic mess coated in snot and grime and tears. Maybe there's a couple of cracked shot glasses strewn somewhere on the floor. Sometimes he's fallen asleep. On the floor. Sometimes he's still awake and wailing to himself.
Paranoid — No. She is not agreeing to a drink. She is not going out with the others for a drink. She is not putting her life in jeopardy for a drink. She is not even going to think about—
She goes for a drink anyway because the anxiety and overthinking and hallucinations are way too much.
She checks like five hundred different times if her drinks are spiked or poisoned or anything before actually drinking them. Probably only likes her alcohol a very specific way and when the bartender deviates even the slightest bit from it, she will glare absolute daggers and go on a scathingly drunken annoyed rant.
Actually, the rant isn't exclusive. It's inevitable. And god forbid you approach Paranoid when drunk because she will jump out of her skin, run the hell away, have a panic attack, hyperventilate, and roast the fuck out of you. Not necessarily in that order.
Cold — Will try those cocktails that have very questionable ingredients stuffed inside for the hell of it. And have no visible reaction at all, no matter how horrid it tastes.
(He'd probably try to get Witch behind the bar on purpose. Everyone screams at him, but it's too late, because Witch would already be behind the bar putting eye of newt into the next person's glass and cackling about it.)
Absolutely insane alcohol tolerance. He's even worse than Skeptic. He could down like a hundred shots and still be completely unaffected.
So most of the time when they're all drinking together he just comes for the ensuing chaos. And he also starts bar fights and drunken arguments just because he can.
Cheated — Alcoholic. Certified alcoholic. Heads to the bar regularly at 8pm. Downs like, five gallons every night.
He claims he needs it to deal with the constant pain of falling apart every time. He's just weak-willed and scrambling for justifications, but it does help the pain, at the expense of giving Dr. Paranoid a really big headache about him.
And he really doesn't need to drink as much as he does, given that he has no tolerance at all and gets drunk after one shot.
He also keeps getting into drunken accidents. Thorn always ends up being the one driving him home, but by then he's covered in a new set of cuts and scrapes and probably has broken glass stuck in his foot. Thank you so much, Oppy.
Contrarian — Brought Fanta to the bar. Oh, no outside food and drinks allowed? Too bad. It's allowed now.
They will be very amiable and agree when you offer them a shot. Then they will pour that very shot onto your head when you're not looking. Or Opportunist's head if they're feeling nice that day.
They are much better at staying off alcohol than pretty much all the other Voices, except for perhaps Hunted. Nobody knows how they do it. However, they join Cold in exacerbating drunken conflicts, sowing chaos, and encouraging bad decisions. And when the entire bar is thrashed they try to high-five Cold for a job well done, except by then Cold is too bored to care and has already wandered off.
oh right. tagging @everestgale again let's see how long this lasts + taking advantage of your kindness

Yeah I was on a discord where they talked about TFO and they hated Orion for his acts accusing of not caring about D-16. I decided to go after that.
People have such a hate boner for OP it's wild, literally what is this constant dehumanization where D/Megatron's feelings are valid and he's allowed to go as batshit as he wants, but if OP ever questions him at all or god forbid is hurt by someone who's supposed to be his friend it's just the worst? This fandom hates an Optimus whose life doesn't revolve around Megatron which basically means they hate all versions of Optimus unless they can turn him into Megatron's trophy husband/soft cute uwu boyfriend

Oh hey hey hey, the first chapter of my Voices-centric fic is up!
The Long Quiet is gone, but the Voices remain. This place still cannot hold a fragment of a concept, but even as they all try to figure out where to go from here, they begin to become something more than simply fragments, and to become full, separate people with their own bodies. If they can just figure out the process, maybe it can even go... somewhat smoothly.
In which the Voices develop a body of their own and then new bodies keep showing up and splitting them apart. Then they have to contend with the mortifying ordeal of being individuals increasingly alone in own their heads, and also fully-realized beings who go beyond their simple one-word roles, and also have to talk to each other out loud or something? Sounds fake. ANYWAY, this will contain shipping between some of the Voices; the definite and most major ones are Contrarian/Hero and Cold/Paranoid. It will also contain trans headcanons. This is a Voice of the Hero POV fic taking place after the Stranger variant of the "And? What happens next?" ending.

SLAY THE PRINCESS Voice + Narrator Designs
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
sorry they arent all 'complete' sort of. I was struggling and it was starting to feel like i would never finish at all and that the slay the princess interest may slip from my grasp altogether and i wanted to finish these before doing other slay the princess drawings and !! anyways yeah these are mostly to get an Idea of how the guys look, there may be potential changes in future but for the most part these are the guys !! design notes under the read more teehee.
beaks are so hard to draw but im trying smh
SLAY THE PRINCESS DESIGN NOTES:
ok first of all. maybe sometimes i will feel like drawing wings instead of hands, okay? teehee. all in good fun. these are all how its Supposed to be, generally, but i can bend the rules or edit them as i wish lol !! pupils are also a if-i-feel-like-it thing !!
The Cold
- light blues, icy, cold colours.
- thin, bony, pointy. his 'ears' / tufts stand up straight. sharper beak. etc. mid-length feathers on arms, short on legs.
- thin, long tail with a few feathers at the end
The Contrarian
- warm colours for the most part, potentially some blues or something for contrast. all rather saturated
- puffy feathers.
- simple no-sleeved vest that fits well.
- thin tail with rough, messy feathers that ends with two arrow-shaped ends
The Smitten
- more pinkish, purplish, red sort of colours. potentially rather vibrant and saturated also?
- lots of roundness in his design, including a more curved beak and relatively heart shaped ears. short puffy tail.
- feathers dont reach far on arms or legs
- little dots under eyes
- fluffy chest.
- more solid body
- two toes
The Opportunist
- blues and purples, perhaps a little orange
- looser shirt, long + big sleeves. deck of cards. plays with the cheated. Often cheats.
The Hunted
- greens, perhaps, greens and browns more neutral, natural colours for camouflage
- big ears. to listen
- stronger legs, ready to run and dodge,
The Paranoid
- orange, yellow.
- overpreens and stuff. lots of bent or broken feathers, occasionally some rather patchy spots. feathers dont have a clean end along his limbs. the others have some bent or broken feathers too of course but he's got it the worst
The Cheated
- weird feathers at his neck. fun <3
- deck of cards
- also has a like. mark/scar at the neck
- edit teehee: so neck feathers can be like. jagged. same for the ends of the feathers on his arms. jagged and all kinda like the whole razor princess route, you know?
The Skeptic
- orange, cautious
- long tail with feathers at the end that resemble a question mark
- maybe a choker or something?
The Stubborn
- more desaturated in tone. red.
- shorter tail
- lots of scars
The Hero
- Bandanna sort of thing around the neck
The Broken
- dark blues
- marks beneath the eyes
The Long Quiet / Player / Body
- during the loops its more simple. two sets of wings, one at the shoulder blades, one by the hips. rather small, unable to be used for flying. all the voices take after them in looks.
- is something... more though, in his natural state. similar to how the Shifting Mound is different than the ordinary princess you see. bigger wings, a more monstrous form.
- entirely greyscale
The Narrator
- toothed beak, sharp teeth.
- has a mane. whether thats made of feathers or fur or hair or what? who knows. All that matters is that its soft.
- regular bird tail, regular bird feet.
- paws. sorta similar to a lions?
- might mess with his colours a bit tbh but generally it sticks to dark grey or blueish
also have some drawings of working on the narrators design
