Totk was a very fun game and I'll never forget the experience of playing it for the first time but it absolutely shot itself in the foot when it divorced itself from botw as much as it did. Like why were the devs that scared of making a sequel.

#little to no references to the champions divine beasts guardians and the calamity / calamity ganon #all but the story significant NPCs dont recognize link #it just sucks man #instead of referencing the connection the sages have to the champions let's give them NEW significant ancient characters to connect them to!#also ive said it before but ill say it again with ny full chest: zelda is not written as well as everyone thinks she it #i have so many criticisms of this game *because* i love it ok #scout.txt
