Short interaction writing requests update

So yesterday I posted that I need someone to request Alita + Hugo short story, and I got messages in my inbox soon after! Wasn't sure if anybody would even read this post so it was a nice surprise.

Also it was funny bc the first thing I saw in my notifications was "Nova and Hugo" so it was like "I am a joke to you" heh. (btw I already have few ideas for this one, I'll have to pick)

There was also Hugo+Chiren and of course the Hugo+Alita I needed.

Looking at my inbox, I'm surprised how many interactions Hugo is going to have with Chiren, lol. But don't worry, I have ideas!

The only character that got only 1 request so far is Gelda, in case anyone is curious. The rest got requested more than one time.

I'm putting those request on hold for now.

And I'm happy that bit of info was inspirational for you! I think there is so much potential in A:BA but sadly there aren't many fics compared to other fandoms. And I'm not even sure what concept art they're talking about, from what I saw there was only a shot from a distance? Nothing game-changing for the fic.

I was wondering if they'd have to deal with defense ring but with Hugo saved, but you gave them an easier time hah.

Do you know that Cameron had an alternate ending for the movie, where Hugo survives?

"In a reel of concept art put together in 2005, back when producer James Cameron was still developing what was originally called Battle Angel Alita, Hugo and Alita’s meeting on the cables to Zalem actually ended with our hero maintaining her grip on her boyfriend. Bound by love, and a common cause, they descend back to Earth, happily ever after.

Strangely enough, this ending saw Alita herself being the one pursued, as her memories of her mission to destroy Zalem inspire her to be the one that snaps. Hugo talks her down, almost gets destroyed in the process, and the two return home as we see in the rest of the reel."

There was also a video on YouTube speculating what if Alita managed to save Hugo in the movie.

“please come back I’m not gone. I swear I won’t be anytime soon I’m not loosing you again so please just.. just come down and we can think more rationally about this” he said softly, almost scared he didn’t have the right words

“I hate that prick nova as much as you but his puppets are gone..and I’m sure he’s not gonna come down from his comfort of zalem just to deal with us” he said with a soft smile and Tilt of his head. Even in such a situation he found a way to bring his sarcastic personality into this

you didn’t look at him for a moment thinking. This was your job to destroy nova. To destroy zalem and the rich bastards that stole the ability to live peacefully from the rest of the world.

but.. was it? It had been years since the war life for you could be peaceful you could take yourself away from the fighting.. at least you could try shy away from the fighting that plagued you and your old friends live away your life with Hugo

you looked back at him letting out a shaky breath and a glance back to zalem and back to him you opened your mouth to speak but nothing came out instead you nodded hesitantly

you placed your hand in his and smiled softly at him “ okay” you said agreeing to come down with him he let out a breath he didn’t know he was holding in he smiled softly and nodded his head vigorously

“okay.” He said taking your hand in his he turned to the ground and took with you to get back to the ground

to get back to your lives. The ones you could now try to live out peacefully with Hugo because that’s what this was about now not war. Not zalems destruction. Not nova

I think a lot of the Pacific Rim goodwill is because GDT and they didn't end the first film with a kiss. People aren't willing to cut James Cameron the same slack. Plus, Pacific Rim wasn't advertised or talked about as something groundbreaking from a prolific director. I think all the praise before it even came out baited the hipsters into hating it without even watching it. A lot of normal people seemed to have generally positive feelings toward it, though. They just didn't love it so much that they were willing to make a million gifs on tumblr and write five million fanfictions and spend months crafting video essays about the complexity of each character, etc. Even with a film like Black Panther, a lot of the articles surrounding it (aside from the tributes to Chadwick Boseman) are about the art design or the costumes. I looked up 'Shuri Black Panther oufit' and got linked to an article about the work the designers put into it and a link to where I could get a knock-off of the purple track suit. I also got youtube and spotify reccomends for the soundtrack, really interesting cultural breakdown essays on tumblr, links to the actors talking about what it meant to them to be brown on camera in a big Hollywood blockbuster. Films like Avatar and Alita just didn't get pushed in front of me in the same way. Even though they did have groundbreaking visuals and a team that worked really hard on them. The fandom just wasn't rabidly self-promoting enough. They didn't generate content in the same way. People like my parents liked it, but they don't make content about films they like or even love. Even if they hate a film, they aren't talking about it online.

I haven't seen Way of the Water yet, but I did and still do love the first Avatar film, and every time I see people shit on it, I get really stressed bc like.

Have yall seen the behind the scenes? How much technology went into it for James Cameron to start developing the film back when Titanic was filming, or the way they created and learned the Na'avi language and grammar in a way that would be unique and not too similar to an existing language, real or fictional? Have yall see the stuff they had to wear to capture as much emotion as possible while keeping a straight face in high stake scenes? The way they could only stare at sticks to imagine the creatures and plant life they were interacting with but still managed for the wonder on film to feel so authentic?

Maybe the story isn't original, and yeah I get why blue people makes you laugh, but God I wish people stopped undermining the amount of talent needed within actors and CGI creators and just the whole set crew because Gahhhhhh.

And for way of water they were actually trained to film underwater for extended periods of time and breathe a certain way so it looked natural much like the Taloklanil in Wakanda Forever. They filmed for years and everyone just laughs at those efforts when these aren't wash up actors, they're good fucking actors with reputable filmography and

I'm so tired. I hate how much the arts are scoffed at.

Here’s the first artwork of my Gunnm (Battle Angel Alita) ship released on this profile. I really need to redesign my #ocs old design and see through that I make a proper sheet with a proper reference. Anyways, I’m waiting for the release of the next instalment of the #battleangelalita Mars Chronicle and to satisfy my needs during the wait, I present to you the first picture of what is going to help me to survive the wait!

Ratte is my #owncharacter . She is Zekka’s actual child, although, Zekka ran away to get some smokes and ditch the responsibility when a girl suddenly carried his genes! Ratte wanted to know her father though, so when she found him, he told her that he’d only take care of her, if she would beat him in a fight. Of course, Ratte was but a kid in a cyborg-body. She had no chance against the strongest fist in the universe! However, Zekka was so impressed by the gall this girl had, that he began to teach her martial arts. Fast forward to the Z.O.T is when Ratte had become an adult, a formidable fighter and one of the allies of the Space Angels later on, opposing her own father this way.

❤️ Ratte: German for “Rat” // Built 5 years ago, equaling humanoid age of 20 years currently.

👾 Ratte is the dishonourable daughter of the great and famous Zekka, the strongest fist in the universe. She was born a cyborg, an accident that shouldn’t have happened and naturally so, Zekka ditched all responsibilities in this very drunken incident, leaving the "alledged mother/creator" of the child, getting a pack of smokes, never returning again. Ratte’s mother was very ill, taken by a cybernetic virus; she died shortly after the “birth” of the child, hence Ratte “grew up” in the ranks of the Stellar Nursery Society - Guntroll.

💀Only one year after she was built, she changed from a children’s cyborg body to an adult one. The girl never truly had been a child, nor did she ever have the mentality of one. Basically, you could say she was born as an “adult” (mentally). It was Yani, the Cybertech, who eventually built her new body, therefore, Ratte is a secret fizziroy-body-user. Qu Tsang taught her some of her martial arts, however, it was obvious that this fighting style wasn’t for her. Eventually she studied Capoeira, mixing it with influences of Wing-Chun and some secrets of the Panzerkunst, to form her very own, personal fighting style.

🤖Shortly before the Z.O.T Zekka and Ratte met once again and their first meeting wasn’t a pleasant one. Ratte had every reason to be mad at her “so-called father” hence an immediate fight occurred, which Ratte unfortunately lost. However, Zekka had to admit that the girl had some gall and after “somewhat” sorting things out, Zekka taught her some of his techniques as well, being a proper dad for the first time. During the Z.O.T Ratte allied with the Space Angels and the Guntroll team, opposing her father once more, rooting for Sechs to kick his stupid ass!

So I'm thinking about writing a multi chapter fanfiction based on Pat Cadigan's Iron City (Alita battle angel prequel book) but I'm not quite sure if it'll worth it... (Spoiler alert?)

So, I finished Iron City yesterday and I now kinda ship Chiren and Ido. Their relationship was definitely odd but throughout the book, there were passages that made me feel like they could reconcile.

And I wanna write just that. But I'm not sure if anyone will read this or even consider it since there was no fan contents of the two, which made me think that I might be the only one (or one of the very few) who ships them. If I do write it, I will put it on AO3.

So, will anyone be interested in this?

Alita Battle Angel and Dyson Ido aren’t my characters 

Ido sighed as he rubs his eyes. His insomnia was acting up again, tonight as usual. He tinkered away at a few things on his desk, trying to make a few things for patients that would come in. He needed to make another trip to the scrapyard one of these days and look for some servos. He always needed servos. He heard his door open and close and then footsteps approached him.

“Hello Doctor.” Elisa says coming up behind him.

“Hello Elisa, didn’t I tell you not to call me that.” He smirks looking up at her.

“Force of habit.” She shrugs.

“Everything go ok?” He asks. Sometimes she will go off bounty hunting on her own or she’ll tell him to stay home. He won’t argue as she’s way stronger than him, being the end result experiment of Nova.

“It was a slow night. I only got five thousand credits.” She says.

“Oohhh…only five thousand.” Ido chuckles.

“Here, I saved a little for me but the rest is for you.” She says putting a bag on the desk.

“Thank you, you know you don’t have to do this.” He says.

“I know, but I want to.” She says.

“Thank you.” He smiles. She leans in and kisses his cheek. He nearly whines at the contact.

“You ok?” She asks rubbing his shoulder.

“I’m fine.” He whispers. He leans into her, his lips grazing her temple.

“Dyson…” She says caressing his face. Her touch feels so warm and tender that he can’t enough of it. He starts to caress her face as well as he leans in and kisses her. He nearly whines again as they kiss. She can tell he’s needy tonight. He almost always is. She knows that he’s sort of touch-starved in a way. Just the right tough could set him off. They drift towards the counter and Elisa brushes her jacket off and tosses it aside. She sneaks one of her hands up his shirt and touches his firm body. He lets out a soft moan into her neck as her back touches the counter. She eagerly jumps up and pulls him into her. Their kisses are frantic and feverish as Ido can’t get enough of her. Sher wraps her legs around his waist and teasingly rolls her hips against him and he moans into her shoulder.

“Don’t get me started you tease…” He rasps against her. She chuckles as she kisses his neck and rubs his side, down his back. He takes his t-shirt off quickly and her hands are all over him. She feels those scars from his fights as a hunter warrior. She is doing her best to make sure no more are added under her watch. They kiss each other again, deeply and tenderly, taking their time with it. Ido was the best kisser and sometimes she thought that was his favorite part. When they finally pull away Elisa quickly gets her shirt and bra off for him. His mouth is on her skin, kissing at her scars too. Some wounds are just too deep despite her healing powers. While his mouth is on her shoulders and breasts his hands work to pull her pants and panties down. She eagerly helps him with one hand while the other tries to work on his belt. Ido’s chuckle is cut short as he groans when she strokes his cock gently.

“Mmmmm…fuck Elisa…” He rasps as he leans in and kisses her while he positions himself between her legs.

“Dyson…ahhhhh….” She groans, leaning onto his neck as he slowly thrusts himself inside her. She wraps her arms around him as he starts to move. He’s careful at first. He always is. It’s just one more thing to admire about him. She kisses and nips at his skin as he keeps a steady pace making her pant softly every now and then. When he presses deeper into her, she gasps as she leans back on the counter. As she looks up at him, she sees sweat on his brow. She reaches up and caresses his cheek and he kisses her palm with a small whine. His hands are holding her hips firmly as their bodies slap together. She moans again, digging her nails into the counter top. “Dyson…I…I…don’t stop…don’t stop…” She pants as she’s getting terribly close. He’s driven on by her begging and frantically kisses her, trying to help her reach her peak.

“Never…oh fuck…never…” He gasps between kisses. He moves his hips slightly and hits her just right. She sobs and grabs his shoulders as she cums. He groans as he feels her and his pace falters slightly to let her enjoy herself before he’s thrusting frantically.

“Dyson…Dyson…cum for me Dyson…cum for me…” She rasps between her own kisses now. He’s quickly undone by her stimulation and he groans and stills at his release, gasping hard into her shoulder. They stay connected for a while before Ido pulls away and helps Elisa off the counter. He gives her a small kiss before he fixes his pants. She gives him a playful butt wiggle as she bends down and grabs her clothes. Ido can’t help but smirk at her. She grabs his hand and they hurry off to his bedroom. He’s quickly snuggling up to her as he holds her close.

“I love you Dyson…” She mumbles as she drifts off to sleep.

“I love you too Elisa.” He says. It isn’t long before they both settle into a pleasant slumber.
