Eleshia Canick

Thinking about my priest girl since I finally got the priest class hall mounts earlier tonight

I’ve also had her for like 10 years, her backstory has changed a LOT and I’m still working on it

I’ve also been considering race changing her to Kul Tiran (currently is human) so she can look like her body type but she’s 120 and I know I wouldn’t get the heritage armor so that’s kinda what’s stopping me (I also don’t have Kul Tirans unlocked lol)

Uses the nickname Ellie with family

Likes cats - wants to have her own someday so she just feeds the strays in Stormwind

Here’s a list of her relatives that I’ve fleshed out in no particular order: Dylan Canick (worgen rogue brother), Selena Canick (forsaken warlock/bard sister), Treld Luxford (worgen death knight uncle)

Backstory

She’s from Gilneas, managed to avoid the Worgen curse. Her parents and sister were killed; only her brother and herself made it out

Lives in Stormwind, volunteers at the orphanage. Reunited with her death knight Uncle by chance in Stormwind

This is where things get a little murky backstory wise - she left Stormwind at start of BfA to train with the Tidesages in Stormsong. She’s still a (holy) priest but heavily works with helping spirits move on.

Her alignment starts to shift from holy as she starts to struggle with void whispers (holy -> discipline)

When N’zoth breaks free, she succumbs to the void for a period of time (discipline -> void)

Either she a. Comes back to her senses only when N’zoth is dead or b. She is saved by her worgen brother who’s been building up his void resistance to try to save her

I don’t quite know where her story goes in Shadowlands but considering her specialty in talking to the spirits, she might end up going to Bastion

Bad™ Timeline Thoughts/Summary

I’ve been thinking about this specific timeline a lot for my WoW OCs so I’m just going to start dumping my thoughts here about this timeline. I’ll probably do one of these with the Good™ timeline too just to make things even and show the differences

- Arinata (my draenei) did NOT escape on the Exodar and instead agreed to join the Legion becoming a Man'ari Arcanist. (She was a mage before she became a shaman. In this Universe she stayed a mage.) She is the main bad of my remaining chars in this timeline.

- Anaca devotes herself to being a Farstrider after Arthas’ march to the Sunwell. She is eventually killed in the Eastern Plaguelands and raised as a death knight. She somewhat abandons her sister in Silvermoon when she dies and once she regains her mind from the Lich King, she never goes back to Silvermoon out of guilt. She keeps both her eyes however.

- Zarashari travels to Outland with her family at the request of Kael'thas Sunstrider. Her wagon is still attacked by demons. Instead of being saved by the demon hunters, she is instead saved by a group of blood knight paladins. She joins them instead and participates in the fight in Northrend and other Horde-Alliance wars before joining the Paladin Class Hall.

- Fenien, with the loss of her older sister, invests her time into the arcane arts becoming a powerful magister (not quite Grand Magister but you get my drift). Due to her new status, her father is able to wriggle his way back into her life for money to sustain his mana addiction. She also does not have the support from Anaca to fully transistion and does so years later. 

- Garex, is killed by Anaca during his travels to Light’s Hope Chapel and raised as a ghoul instead of a death knight. (She nicknames him ‘Anklebiter’).

- Grenci travels to the Eastern Plaguelands after the Bilgewater Cartel joins the Horde a few years after Garex’s disappearance. Instead she befriends Zarashari during a chance encounter at Light’s Hope.

- Dentak travels to Outland without Anaca but is not able to find the same fortune as a bounty hunter there. He signs up with the Horde military to fight in the Horde-Alliance wars but never is happy. He settles in Pandaria after leaving the army and becomes a monk. He never returns to the other continents of Azeroth, finding inner peace there.

-Kyouka helps the Horde and Alliance on the Wandering Isles but refuses to pick a side, instead traveling to Pandaria to explore her ancestral homeland. She stays there.

- Zulador has to age out of the Orgrimmar Orphanage as he is never adopted by Anaca. He travels to the Barrens to try and find his parents. Unfortunately he travels there during a Legion Invasion and is killed by a Wrathguard en route to the Crossroads.

- Treld trapped under the worgen curse in Pyrewood Village never attempts to escape the village. He is killed by the Banshee Queen’s army while trying to defend his home.

-Kipdar is in Auberdine when Deathwing attacks it - she loses an arm. This greatly reduces her powers as a druid. She develops a fear of fire and later cannot defend herself when Auane accidentally loses control of her fire powers as a mage. She’s never able to forgive Auane after that and never reconciles with her. She becomes a traveling salesman between Ashenvale and Teldrassil.

-Auane still loses her powers and travels to Feralas to take control of her latent wizard abilities. She manages but later finds that Kipdar and her are not able to reconcile. She joins Dalaran to further her training as a mage, where she later helps to kick out the Sunreavers from the city under orders from Jaina Proudmoore.

-Selena, Eleshia and Dylan flee Gilneas. Selena is attacked by a Worgen as they flee, but Dylan is able to jump in the way and takes the full front of the attack. Selana survives, but Dylan does not survive his wounds and dies. Dylan is raised later by the Val’kyr but joins Marcus Redpath and is killed for rebeling.

-Selena and Eleshia continue on. During another earthquake, Selena drowns in the ocean and her body is lost in the ocean.

-Eleshia is attacked by a feral worgen and gains the worgen curse. She regains her sanity later and travels to Darnassus. Her connection to the light is greatly weakened and she takes up an apprenticeship with the local tailor shop. She befriends the local wanderer Kipdar.
