Roger's big day

Dear diary,

My baby is no longer a baby. It always is sad and joyful at the same time. I'm happy for the development my baby is going trew and at the same time I love those little baby's. But I know, in just eight months, I will have another little one in my arms. I'm expecting baby Doyle #9!

Charles is a curious toddler who loves to be read to by me. And I love to read to him.

Roger had his big day, in the church next to the home where my mother grew up, very special. Roger, Marco and William didn't really matched their outfits but the photo is fine.

Alina wanted something different for her weddingday and choose a red weddingdress. We where all in red as girls and woman and it looked good and so full of love.

The ceremony was lovely with yet again a little bit of personal touch of Alina. They had written their own vows. Very special to hear. Charles was a bit nauty, getting in front of everybody.

Charles was a bit impressed by the first kiss of the couple. My little cutie.

Mom and dad's anniversary

Dear diary,

My son Roger is engaged! He was courting a girl named Alina Ryder for a couple of months and now they are engaged. I'm very happy to have a daughter in law joining our family. I got to be there for the engagement and it was so beautiful. It also hurts a bit to see my son leave the nest and start his own family. I would have loved to keep him a bit longer at home but as the Bible already discribes, one day a man will leave his parents home and starts his own family.

Roger&Alina are a lovely couple. I'm sure William will miss him around. They have been close since they where toddlers. William is a teenager, right now and already a very handsome young man.

My parents recently celebrated their 35th anniversary. They have been married for so long. I love seeing their love for eachother. Someday I hope I will be married for 35th years too. My parents have been blessed with seven childeren, Abby, Beau, Christina, me, Fiona, Gabriel and Hosanna.

Abby is 33 years old, married to Sam and together they have 7 childeren, Isa 14, Karen 11, Samuel&Victoria 9, Adeline 6, Albert 4, Cecilia 1, and there is another baby Willems on the way.

Beau is 31 years old, married to Isabel and together they have 5 childeren, Maggie 9, Wayne 7, Susie 5, Clint 2 and Finnley 0.

Christina is 29 years old, married to Aaron and together they have 4 childeren, Abel 7, Tina 5, Amos 2 and Brenda 0.

Fiona is 26 years old and still single. She lives with my parents and gives music lessons. She also helps me out reguarly.

Gabriel is 23 years old, married to Tamara and they are expecting their first baby.

Hosanna is 14 years old, she is the baby of the family.

My parents are so blessed with 7 childeren and 24 grandchilderen with two grandchilderen on the way. I love them very much.

Baby Doyle #8

Dear diary,

We have been blessed with another baby boy! Marco is so thrilled to have another son after Roger and William. We named him Charles Haddon Doyle after Charles Haddon Spurgeon. He was the prince of the preachers. As my father was a pastor I would love it if one of my sons would follow that same path. Maybe Charles will, Roger or William.

Charles feels already part of this family. In the meantime, my eldest son, Roger, is an adult. Roger is such a handsome man, just like his father. He is very self assured, a real people person and always in for a nice talk.

He is courting a girl named Alina Ryder. Marco is very pleased with seeing one of his sons courting. He even chaperonned a date of the two of them.
