_en Did you think that NMDs were already dead? Well, adidas obviously doesn’t agree with that, because they have just recently presented the newest addition to the NMD family, the NMD Racer, and they are not taking it easy. What’s more, they are strengthening the legacy of the new model with a proper collab straight from the beginning as the Hong Kong-based Juice joined in on the model’s latest instalment. This particular release is certainly going to be a standout. It combines the new, futuristic shape of the NMD Racer with elegant black base colour and the bold Alienegra motif, CLOT’s notorious design. Yes, for those of you who didn’t know, Juice is CLOT’s beloved child. Or shall I say sibling as they both share the same father, Kevin Poon? Anyway, using the classic Alienegra pattern in black and white on an atypical black Boost sole, this sneaker truly is a special piece with a strong story behind it. Wondering where and when you’ll be able to get your hands on it? _cz  Mysleli jste, že už jsou NMD mrtvé? No, adidas očividně nesouhlasí, jelikož nám teprve nedávno představili nejnovější přírůstek do rodiny NMD, NMD Racer, a rozhodně na to nejdou zlehka. Co víc, hned ze začátku se rozhodli posílit odkaz tohoto modelu pořádnou kolaborací, jelikož se na poslední variantu tohoto modelu vrhl hongkongský Juice.

Tenhle konkrétní release bude rozhodně vyčnívat. Kombinuje nový, futuristický tvar modelu NMD Racer s elegantním černým základem a výrazným Alienegra motivem, což je typický design CLOT brandu. Ano, pro ty z vás, kdo jste to nezaznamenali, Juice je milovaný potomek CLOT. Nebo bych měl spíše říct sourozenec, protože sdílí stejného otce, Kevina Poona? V každém případě, s použitím klasického Alienegra vzoru v černé a bílé se tato teniska stojící na netypické černé Boost podrážce stala skutečně speciálním kouskem se silným příběhem v zádech.

adidas Consortium x JUICE - NMD Racer

adidas Originals teams up with Hong Kong based sneaker boutique JUICE this month, bringing the CLOT-helmed sneaker store’s distinctive visual aesthetic to the newest NMD silhouette, the NMD Racer.

Pushing the NMD Racer’s competitive running influences to the fore, this latest release combines trademark elements of JUICE’s identity with pure performance-led design language to create a powerful expression of the NMD Racer’s form-meets-function philosophy.

First up, a sock-fit Primeknit construction is applied across the shoe’s upper, decorated with the iconic Alienegra motif in a reflective monochrome print. Premium suede panels on the heel and eyestay then provide structure to the design, finished with essential welded 3-stripes marks and a branded heel-pull in the Alienegra font.

The collaboration then goes further with an elevated take on the new NMD Racer tooling. The shoe’s signature Boost midsole is rendered in a Core Black colorway, countered by a translucent outsole decorated with the Alienegra graphic. This carries onto the NMD Racer’s new TPU stabilizer arch and QUICKSTRIKE forefoot inserts, countered by a white EVA plug in the heel. As a final tribute to the NMD Racer’s performance inspirations, the outsole also receives a competitive running-inspired spikes. Rounded off with textured laces and co-branded sockliners, the result is a bold collaborative debut for the latest chapter of NMD that hits the ground running in both style and substance.
