Season 7 

Summary- Reader has been looking for Alicia ever since the nuclear explosion. She meets Will after he saves her and he tells her about a girl... that girl being Alicia. The reader gets jealous after Will says he loves Alicia, so she kills him. How will Alicia react?

You don't know how long its been. Days, weeks, months since Teddy launched nuclear bombs. You ended up with Strand, which wasn't a wise choice at first but the tower the two of you found became a safe haven. And Strand was quite scary enough and convincing enough to make anyone bend at his will.

You let him run everything, bring new people in and advise everything. You occasionally went out for supplies but most of your time was spent on the radios, or map locations. 

You felt yourself going crazy each passing day. Thinking, thinking of her and it hurt. The last conversation you had was a fight about her going out without you. Sure it was possessive of you but all you wanted was to keep her safe.

Part of you regretted that fight, you never saw her again after that. But the other half was satisfied you got your thoughts out. 

You were lost in your thoughts when Howard came foe you. 

"Strand may have found Alicia." The second the words 'found' and 'Alicia' left his words you ran past him to reach the roof. There sat Strand under an umbrella and a younger man standing with stuff all around him.

"Strand who is this?" You ask and point at the man.

"Y/n, this is Will and he might just have something we need." Says Strand with a smile before lifting his hand and let a necklace drop out. Your eyes immediately fell at the pendant and you practically launched over to grab it. 

"Where?" You look at Strand but he shrugs and looks at Will. You turn around and walk towards him. "Where did you get this?" You grabbed his collar and pulled him close. 

"Out there." 

"Show me." 

"Why?" 

"Well give you a place here, please just take me where you got this." You were practically begging at this point. Strand stood up and walked towards you. 

"Now lets talk about this." 

"No Strand we can't talk about this." You turned around and grabbed his arm to drag him away. "This is what I needed, proof shes alive, now I just need to find her." You were smiling widely but it was a smile that would make anyone uneasy. 

"Fine, take two men." 

"Thank you." You nodded at him and immediately walked away. "Come on Will, we take the horses."

“How much farther?” You ask Will and take your mask off.

“About a mile or so.” He says and he starts moving the horses again.

“So why haven’t you gone back to your settlement?” Will looks back at you and sighs.

“Im not exactly welcome anymore, I’ve been trying to make it up to the people there.” 

“Why? Making people know they’re wrong should be satisfying.” 

“Why the hell would I do that?” Will slows his horse down to settle in next to you. You stayed silent for a second, trying to figure out the words.

“Hmm, guess thats just me.” You mumbled and dragged a finger along the horses reins. Thunder started rumbling over you and you looked up.

“Where did you find the necklace?” You ask but before he could answer it started raining.

“We need to mask up! Take cover, now!” He says and everyone started putting their masks on. 

“We need to get to cover.” You say and raise a hand over your eyes.

“I know a place, follow me.” He says and urged the horse to run with everyone following.

You made it under a bridge and hopped of the horses.

“Should be safe enough under here.” Says Will and you look around.

“What is this place?”

“Last 50 days, home.” He says.

“Cozy.” You say and grimace.

“Hey Stop!” He says and you look to see the men accompanying you touching a van. “Thats mine.” They raise their hands in surrender. 

The men started taking pictures, something Strand instated they do. 

“Yo Y/n, look at this.” You walk towards them and crouch down.

“Is this the handiwork of those people you told me about on our way here?” You ask.

“Stalkers. What are we really doing out here?” 

“Hmm?”

“Whoever that necklace or medallion belongs to you must know them, right?”

“What difference does it make?” 

“Just funny.”

“There is nothing funny about this.”

“Its just it seems like you have everything back at the tower.” He says snd you look back at him.

“I do.”

I don’t 

“Then why did you go so crazy when you saw the medallion that belongs to her.” At his words you smiled widely.

“I never told you I was looking for a woman.” You stood up and placed a hand on the axe that sat on your hip. 

“Boys, I think this man lured us here to be killed.” They raised their guns at him and Will scoffs.

“I wasn’t-.”

“Start talking.” You cut him off. 

“Who?”

“Alicia.” He scoffed again. “Answer me.” You were glaring at him with a dark intent in your eyes. As you were going to speak again gunfire started.

“Stalkers!” Yelled Will, you looked back to see three people in full gear, crouched down and shooting at the four of you. You all ran to cover snd the horses ran away as well. Will got shot and the men shot one of the stalkers. Then walkers showed up and you grabbed Will and dragged him towards his van. You head screams and knew the men that fane with you were dead.

“We need to get out of here.” You slammed your hands on the sides and turned to will and grabbed his injured leg. 

“Not until you answer my question.” 

“I already did.” 

“No you Fucking didn’t!” You seethed and stuck you ginger against the wound making him groan loudly in pain. “Where is Alicia”

“I said I don’t know.”

“No you never said that.” You bite your lip and bring your unoccupied hand to your face. “Where’s Alicia?”

“I don’t know who that is.” He writhed and you sat back. You looked to your sude and saw a box.

The Franklin

“The Franklin, thats where Teddy took her.” You let out a laugh. 

You were right Y/n as always

“I don’t need you, I’ll do this myself.” 

“Wait, wait, wait.” Starts Will and grabs your arm. “She’ll never forgive you.”

“What makes you think thats what I want?”

“Because I know who you are, Y/n. She told me.”

She talked about me

“I think you want to make things right with you, be better.” You looked at him in disbelief and your eye twitched.

“No no no no no, I just need her by my side again. No she will be by my side again.” You pushed you fingers back into his wound and he almost screamed. You kicked the doors opened and pushed walkers away, there was a horse right outside so you ran and got on it.

“Y/n!” Called Will but you were already on the horse and riding away.

You reached Franklins and noticed it almost like a light house. You lit up a lantern and started your decent up the stairs. As you reached the top you set it down and saw a dead walker, you crouched down and pushed it slightly. You found a map laying behind it and grabbed it. You inspected the whole thing and saw Franklins hotel. 

“Im coming for you baby.” You dragged your finger across the map and stood up again to go back down the stairs. You reached the doors and opened them. A heavy fog had rolled in.

You instantly heard footsteps making you stop. They were staggered like a walkers but still close together and fast like a humans. You grabbed the handle of the axe and before you could pull it out a gun cocked.

“Hold it!” It was Will and he was pointing the gun towards you.

“How did you find me?”

“Theres only so many places to hole up around here.” You started backing up until you were completely inside the tower again. “You just tried to kill me.” You sit down in a chair and he leans back against a wall. 

“Sorry.” You rolled your eyes. 

“I guess Alicia was right, you’re not trustworthy.” 

He’s lying Y/n don’t believe him Alicia loves you

“Yeah right.” 

“What did you think finding her would do?” 

“If I find her it means I can keep her safe.” 

“Trust me she doesn’t need saving.” 

“Thats what everyone says.” You smile. 

“I learned a lot from her. Alicia, she didn’t want to be in that bunker. She was locked up by that psycho who dropped the bombs on us, she was locked up with his followers and she could’ve became an asshole like you.”

“Im not an asshole I just care.”

“Stop, you’re an asshole.” You tightened your fists. “And you want to know why she didn’t, because she knew what Senator Vazquez knew, you can’t lead alone.”

“Who said I wanted to lead?”

“Leading comes with danger, and knowing from what she said about you, you’d take over in an instance.” 

“Wow, you know how perfect she is.” You smile as her face flashes in your mind. “Why aren’t you there with her?” Will groans and walks around to a chair to sit. 

“You have that necklace?” He asks and you nod, you slowly reach into your pocket and hold it out to him. He snatches it out of you hand and you glare at him.

“Truth is, I needed this just as much as you do. She asked me to do something, and I couldn’t do it.”

He’s a coward, not worthy

“What did she ask you to do?”

“It doesn’t matter.” 

Yes it does

“Why didn’t you do it?”

“It would’ve protected everyone there, expect for her.” 

“Protect her above everything.” You whispered to yourself and Will raises an eyebrow in confusion. “It must have been pretty bad if she casted you out.”

“I’ve been looking for a way back everyday since, I didn’t think I’d find it. Then I woke up in Strand’s tower and I thought, maybe, maybe if I brought you and Strand to her, maybe that would do it.”

She still wants you

“But after what I’ve seen today, I doubt she’d even recognize you.”

He’s keeping you away from her

“She would, I’ve done nothing wrong.”  You wiped your eyes quickly. “Did she tell you that I gave her the necklace.”

“I did, I knew it’d get your attention.” 

“I gave it to her, so that she would remember who she was and who I am.” You scratched your head and looked at the chain. “Can I see it again.” He leans forward and hands it to you, but you grabbed his wrist an pulled him forward roughly so he fell out of his chair. It ended up with a fight on the floor but he grabbed the gun making you back down. 

“Twice now that you’ve tried to kill me.” He walks away with a limp to the door.

“What are you doing?” The groans of walkers could be heard. 

“I thought that if I took you there we’d be brought back together, but shes better off without you.”

That almost set you off, the bubbling anger was almost at the too. You grabbed your hair and pulled it roughly. 

She needs you, he doesn’t know what he’s saying

He opened the door and stood there. You slammed your hand against the floor and ran to him, pushing him out of the way and shutting the doors. 

“What the hell was that?”

“I knew those people.” He winces. “Something bad must’ve happened.” 

“Alicia.”

“Did you see her? Was she-“ You ask desperately but he shakes his head.

“No I didn’t see all of them.” 

“I think its time we leave.” 

“Wait you cant see more than two feet in front of you.” He looks around the small room. “But I can help.” He grabs a gas tank and hold it up to something.

“That-That wont work, the diesel has no guarantee it will burn.” You say and he sets it down.

“We need this.” He grabs a keys and jams it in there. The engine sputters but it turned on. He ran up stairs and you heard noises and he ran back down. “Lets go.” You nodded and pushed the door open. Killing a few walkers as he grabbed the horse and hopped on. You followed and settled in behind him.

He led you to a fallen ruin, radiation full. 

“So this is where you were?”

“Yeah whats left of it.” He walked to the door and pushed it open. You raised your axe just encase, he walked in first then you followed, shutting the door behind you. As you got deeper in lights flickered and you were on high alert. Will les you through everywhere through the kitchens, living areas, and the bunker rooms.

“Its like a ghost town.” 

“Whatever happened here happened a long time ago.” Says Will.

“How many people lived here.” 

“128. It was me, the senator and a few other staff before Teddys scouts found the place.

“What happened to them?”

“Scouts killed everyone while I was doing maintenance  in the air filter, I stayed up in the service corridors until we all got locked in here.”

“Hmm.” 

“Alicia!” He yelled and you couldn’t help but feel a little jealous.

You walked deeper in the bunker until you reached two doors. You walked through them and the lights turned on. It was like a meeting room, very clean and very functional. 

“This was stalkers, nothing was taken, I don’t think they were attacked.”

“Then what the hell happened.” You walked towards the front and saw a painting, it was very familiar. 

“This wasn’t here before.” 

“She painted it.” You smiled and the memory of watching her paint on the trees and buildings before everything started getting separated. On the podium there was a piece of paper taped to it. WILL. He grabbed it and opened it, you looked over his shoulder and looked at it.

“Yeah, I think she did.”

PADRE

“Whats Padre?” You ask from your side of the stage. 

“It doesn’t matter.” He responds.

“Why not?”

“Because it’s probably gonna get her killed.”

“Is it a person? Place?” 

“I don’t know. I don’t know. Nobody knows. Might not even exist.”

“It?”

“Something better, atleast the possibility of it. I though maybe if I found it first she wouldn’t t have to but, if anything happens to them, to her… thats on me.”

“You don’t know that.” 

“I should have been here. I should have a found a way to make things up to her.”  

His tone. His tone. Why is he saying it like that? Why? Why?… no he cant… she’s mine

“You loved her.” The second those words left your mouth your fists tightened so much your knuckles popped.

“Doesn’t matter.”

You’re right 

“Its all for nothing anyway.”

You can’t love her like I do… keep her safe

“Hmm, Will im sorry for what I’ve done, I just want to find her, I miss her, a lot.” 

“Maybe thats the point of us meeting, we’re supposed to find her. Together.” 

No Y/n only you

“Hmm. Or maybe she’ll find us.” You try to give him your best smile and hop down the stage. “Strand will like that light in the tower come on.”

You got back to the tower and they instantly started working on it. 

“How far will it reach?” Asks Strand.

“15 miles maybe.” Strand looks through his binoculars to the ground.

“It appears our flame has already drawn a few moths.” He passed them to Will. 

“She’ll see it.” He leaned over to you. “She’ll follow it. She’ll find this place.” You turn around and catch Strands eyes, giving him a knowing look.

“Alicia is really the closest thing to a family I’ve had Will. You’re no the only one who loves her. I never told her enough but I realize I should when I find her.”

“When we find her.” He tries and corrects you but you scoffed. 

“Did she ever say what me and her were?” You ask and walk away from the ledge. Will squints his face in confusion.

“You were bestfriends.” 

“So I guess she never told you about the kisses we shared, or the moments alone we had.” You say and Wills stops in his tracks. 

“She never-.” 

“I can see that, because its clear she cheated on me with you.” You say and turn around to Wills shocked face. “See im the only one who deserves to love her in the way you believe you do. And she’s the only one who deserves to love me, but its clear she had a change of heart because if you love her, that means things happened. Things that were meant for me.” You grabbed his jacket and Will tries to push you off. 

“She never said she was in a relationship thats not my fault.” He says and you top.

“Are you saying it’s hers?” You ask with wide eyes.

“Wait what no.” 

“You’re not worthy of her, Only I am.” You walked quickly to the edge with him still in your grasp and pushed him off the edge. He screamed as he feel down all the way to the ground with a splat “Only me.” Strand and Howard approached you from the back.

“Should I go down there and get a picture?” Asks Howard and you shake your head.

“Nobody’s looking for him.” 

“Someone might.” He says and you and Strand look at each other. 

“She’s only looking for Y/n.”

We were separated from the group, the two of us just wanted a little time alone. We were finally safe so Nick and I thought we could just have a little time to relax. Nick packed us each two sandwiches and we just sat in the woods on a beat up little blanket. It was romantic, even if the dead were wondering around somewhere. We were careful. We made sure no dead were around us. All we wanted to do was have some us time. After we ate we just sat back and relaxed. Nick had go to the bathroom, so he left to a near by tree. I couldn’t see him, but I knew he wasn’t far. I laid back and closed my eyes for a moment, just relaxing. It was like I wasn’t in a world where dead were walking the earth. I heard footsteps approaching me, but assumed it was just Nick. I smiled to myself and waiting for him to lay with me. As the footsteps got closer I heard some groaning. I furrowed my brow and opened my eyes to see a walker towering over me. I screamed as it fell onto me. I tried my best to fight it off, but I felt it’s teeth sink into my skin. 

“Y/N!” I heard Nick call and then fast footsteps coming my way. 

“Oh shit…” I heard him say, but I watched as he quickly held up his knife. He rushed over and stabbed it in the head. He hurled the body off me and helped me sit up. 

“Nick…” I whispered with tears in my eyes. He looked into my eyes and I pulled my shirt off my shoulder and he gasped. 

“W-We’ll fix this.” He said and helped me up. 

“Mom and Alicia will help us figure this out.” He said and gathered up the blanket. He grabbed my hand and lead me back to our camp. 

“Nick, I can’t go back.” I whispered and stopped him from moving. He turned around and caressed my cheek. 

“No…” He whispered back. 

“Nick… I can’t risk everyone’s safety…” I said, letting the tears fall. 

“No! No…” He said, shaking his head. I sighed and kissed him deeply. 

“I need you and everyone to be safe… I’m dead, Nicky…” I whispered and he shook his head once again. 

“I promise, we can figure this out, I’m not gonna let you die.” He said. He grabbed my hand again and headed for the camp. I sighed and let him pull me behind him. 

*Three Days Later* 

The had cut the bite off my shoulder as best they could, but it didn’t matter. I felt incredibly weak, my skin was paling, and I had a high fever that wouldn’t go down. Nick had refused to leave my side. I looked over at him, his head was leaning on my bed sleeping. He looked so peaceful. Even though I was feeling like shit, he made me feel better. 

I sat up suddenly and started coughing like crazy. I couldn’t stop… Nick’s head shot up and looked up at me with wide eyes. He looked at me scared. I had my mouth covered and when the coughing finally stopped I pulled it away. My eyes widened as I saw the blood covering my hand. I looked over at Nick and his eyes were filled with tears. 

“N-Nicky…” I whispered. He got up and silently cleaned my hand of my blood. 

“Nicky…” I whispered again, but he ignored me. I shakily grabbed his hand to stop him from cleaning mine and he still wouldn’t look at me. 

“Nicky, please look at me.” I said and he took a deep breath. He looked up at me, tears still in his eyes. 

“It’s time to say goodbye, Nicky.” I whispered and he shut his eyes tightly and shook his head. 

“No. We can still fix you!” He shouted and I flinched slightly. The door opened and his Mom and Sister rushed in. 

“What’s wrong?” Madison asked. 

“Nothing, Y/N/N’s just not feeling good still.” Nick said and I shook my head. 

“I coughed up blood…” I said and their eyes widened. 

“No…” Alicia said and let her tears fall freely. 

“We can still fix her! S-She’s gonna be fine!” Nick shouted and threw the rag he was holding across the room. 

“Nick, honey, calm down.” Madison said. 

“She’ll be fine!” He said, a tear slipping from his eye. 

“Alicia, take your brother outside.” Madison said and she nodded. I watched the siblings leave the room and Nick looked back at me just before he left. 

“I love you, Nicky.” I said and he gave me a sad smile. 

“I love you too, baby.” He said and came back in to kiss me before he left. I took a shaky breath and looked up at Madison, who was taking a seat next to me. 

“I need you to end this…” I whispered and she nodded. She pulled out her gun and looked at me. 

“Are you sure?” She asked. 

“I’m not getting better, Madison…” I said, looking down at my hands. She gently grabbed mine and squeezed. 

“J-Just make sure Nicky doesn’t lose himself…” I said, letting my tears fall freely. I watched a tear slip down her cheek and gave me a nod. 

“I promise.” She said. She held up her gun and aimed it at my head. 

“Tell Nicky I’m sorry and that I’ll always be with him.” I said and she pulled the trigger. 

*Nick’s POV* 

Alicia and I were sitting close to Y/N’s room. I knew my Mom would take care of her, she loved her. Y/N made my life better and both my Mom and Sister loved her. She was family from the first time we started dating. Alicia and I were hugging when I heard the gun shot. I pulled away quickly and wiped my head towards Y/N’s room. 

“No…” I whispered. I ran to her room and burst though the door. I saw my Mom with her gun in her lap and my sweet Y/N with her head leaning to the side and blood pouring from the side. 

“What did you do!?” I shouted and Alicia came in behind me. I heard her gasp, but I didn’t care. I was focused on my Mother who just shot my girlfriend. 

“She was dying Nick. She asked me to.” She said and I rushed over to Y/N’s side. I cradled her in my arms and let my tears that I’ve been holding back fall. 

“How could you do this to me? I love her!” I shouted and my Mom looked at me sadly. 

“I just ended her suffering, Nick. She was dead anyway.” She said as a few tears rolled down her cheeks. 

“I love her…” I cried and held her tighter.

"Baby, what's wrong?" Alicia asked while putting an arm around y/n' shoulder. She rested her head on her shoulder and bit her lower lip. "I didn't want this honeymoon to end." She said while the airplane that was bringing them home finally landed after a 10 hours trip. Alicia smiled, her hand caressing her wife's arm. "I know, babygirl, we'll organise another trip, I swear." She promised while kissing her forehead. Y/n smiled and raised her head to look at her, her finger tracing her lower lip. "At least we have a full weekend to enjoy together." She said, her voice a whisper and her eyes filled with lust. Alicia smiled and shook her head. "Haven't you had enough?" She asked, her hand caressing her leg. Y/n chuckled and stared at her in her eyes. "Never." She whispered and Alicia finally crushed her lips on hers. They exchanged a brief but intense kiss before the voice at the speaker announced that they were allowed to leave the airplane.

As soon as they stepped outside, they both noticed that something was off: the airport seemed to be filled with people, some of them were running toward the airplanes with small bags. They looked agitated. Y/n switched on her phone and gasped. "Baby, I have 23 missed calls." She said. Alicia frowned while switching on her phone as well. "Fuck, 34 missed calls." She said while noticed how both Madison and Nick had been calling her. Y/n raised an eyebrow. "Your mother and brother knew we were on the plane, as well as my parents, so why did they keep calling us?" She asked and Alicia looked around, her expression worried. "I don't know, baby, but there is no signal here. Let's get out of here and we'll call them back." She said and took her hand, her legs moving fast while she walked toward the airport. They were almost arrived to the baggages when a woman jumped in front of her: she had widened eyes, filled with fear, and she was shaking. She grabbed y/n's arms and shook her. "Run! Silly girls, run! They are everywhere!" She kept screaming while shaking y/n. Alicia pushed her back and stepped in front of her. "Hey! Hands off my wife!" She said while y/n looked at the woman in shock. She started to cry, her body shaking in fear. "Run!" She said before finally stepping away. Alicia and y/n exchanged a look of concern, what the hell was going on?

"We have to come back home, now." Alicia said while grabbing her baggage and finally leaving the airport. They stepped outside and widened their eyes: it was pure chaos, with people running everywhere and bodies laying on the streets. Y/n noticed a man kneeled down, next to a woman who was lying unconscious. She noticed that the man was leaned forward, probably crying on her body. "Sir? Do you need help?" She asked while putting a hand on his shoulder. The man turned his head and y/n stumbled back: his eyes were glassy, like covered by a patina, his cheek had been skinned, as well as his collarbone, and the bones were fully exposed. Y/n covered her mouth with her hands and gasped, the man had a piece of human flesh still in his mouth. "He's..." Alicia whispered, her hands grabbing her wife to pull her closer.

"Eating her." Y/n concluded. The man snapped: he tried to bite Alicia and y/n instinctively kicked the baggage against him. The trolley hit him in his face and y/n immediately pulled Alicia away. "What the fuck happened here?" Alicia screamed while they started running away. In that moment, her phone rang. "It's mom." Alicia said while picking up and putting her on speaker. "Mom, what's happening?" She asked, her voice alarmed. "Girls, are you okay? Where are you?" She asked, she sounded even more worried. "We're at the airport. A man tried to... Eat us? Is this possible?" Y/n asked and she heard Madison gasping. "Did he bite you?" She asked. "Mom, what..." Alicia tried to ask but Madison interrupted her. "ARE YOU BITTEN?" She screamed, her tone brusque. Y/m shook her head while they stopped behind a corner. "No, no, we're okay. Can you explain what is going on?" She asked and Madison sighed in relief. "Girls, I know this will sound crazy, but there's a zombie epidemic." She said and Alicia gasped while y/n frowned. "What? Are you being serious right now?" She asked. "Just get home. I can't come and pick you because Nick is not okay." She said and Alicia shook her head. "What about y/n's parents?" She asked and y/n nodded. "They're safe, for now. I spoke with them and they are waiting for us. As soon as you'll be here, we'll leave." She explained and y/n and Alicia exchanged a look. "Okay mom, we'll be home soon." She said. "Don't let them bite you. If you get bitten, you die." She said and Alicia and y/n nodded while hanging up.

Y/n flashed a quick look toward the streets. "We need to steal a car." She said and Alicia nodded. "I know, there are some abandoned ones on the street." She said and y/n noticed that there were zombies all around. She hadn't noticed before, but seeing that man helped her realise how many of them were actually walking around. "They are everywhere." She said and Alicia nodded while looking around. She noticed a trashcan next to them and opened it, her hands digging between the plastic bags. "What are you doing?" Y/n asked. Alicia pulled out a broken baseball bat and what must had been the handle of a frying pan, it had a sharp end. "Here you are." She said while passing the bat to her wife. Y/n took it and looked at her. "Stay close to me." She said while hugging Alicia, her lips pressing on her forehead. Alicia hugged her back and took a breath. "Be careful. I love you." She whispered.

The girls walked to the street, her hands squeezing their improvised weapons. "Be careful!" Alicia screamed and y/n turned her head: a woman with a hanging arm, almost fully ripped from her body, tried to bite her. Y/n hit her on her chest with the bat, but the woman didn't even notice. "These bastards don't die." She shouted while Alicia was hitting a zombie in the stomach. Y/n leaned down to dodge another bite and kicked the woman: she fell on the ground and her head hit the platform edge with a thud. She started bleeding and slowly closed her eyes. Y/n frowned before finally realising: she ran to Alicia, who was fighting against two zombies, and hit one of them on the head. The man fell down. "It's in their brain! Hit their head!" Y/n said and Alicia nodded while stabbing the man with the handle of the pan. "Baby, watch out!" She screamed while y/n was hitting a zombie, because another one was walking to her from behind. Alicia ran and managed to push the zombie toward the wall of a building, she used all of her strength to broke his skull against the wall. She took a deep breath when the man finally gave up and didn't realize that another zombie, his legs both broken, was dragging her to the floor. He grabbed her legs and Alicia fell: the man tried to bite her leg but she kicked him. The man shook his head and tried again, but this time y/n managed to stick the bat into his head. She pushed him aside and reached her hand, Alicia took it and stood up. "We're even." She whispered to her wife. She smiled. "Let's go." She said while finally getting into an open car. They closed the doors and Alicia turned the engine on. "Let's leave." She said before finally driving away from that mess.

Y/n got out of the shower and dried herself, the smell of the body butter filling her nose. She put a large shirt on and sat on the bed of Alicia's old room; everything was still as it was when y/n first met Alicia. Posters of her favourite bands and movies all around, pictures of the high school years and old clothes that she didn't wear anymore. Y/n looked at her wife, she was peacefully resting. "Hey" she whispered while caressing her leg. "Come here." Alicia asked while opening her eyes, y/n shook her head. "Let me put something on." She said while standing up, the moonlight coming from the open curtains made her skin look pale. Alicia shook her head and grabbed her hand to pull her on the bed again. Y/n chuckled and finally gave up, she layed down next to her wife and cuddled with her. "I'm here." She whispered while caressing her back. Alicia nodded and put a hand on her chest to caress her collarbone. "Are you okay?" She asked and looked at her. Y/n nodded. "Yes, you're safe so I'm okay." She simply said and Alicia smiled, a melancholic smile. "Do you think we'll ever come back to our home?" She asked and y/n sighed, her fingers drawing figures on her waist. "I don't know, my love." She whispered and Alicia nodded. "We lost it." She said, her voice soft and her eyes watery. Y/n shook her head. "Hey, we don't need it. You're my home." She said while cupping her face, Alicia smiled, her body relaxing a bit. "And you're mine. I love you." She whispered.

Y/n caressed her cheeks. "I love you too." She said and pressed her lips on hers. Alicia immediately climbed on the top of her, her lips never leaving hers while she took off her shirt. Y/n looked at her, her eyes travelling on her naked body while she caressed her legs. "You're mesmerising." She whispered and Alicia smiled, her hands sliding under her shirt. "This could be our last night in a normal world." She said while caressing her breast, her fingers delicate. Y/n held her breath and looked at her, her hand grabbing her to flip her on the bed. Alicia gasped while y/n looked at her, her hands already spreading her wife's legs. "Then let's make love." She said and kissed her again, and again and again.

I noticed that Alicia was extremely quiet tonight. Normally she would be talking a lot. However, tonight she wasn’t, instead she was just staring at the ceiling of our little room. 

“Are you alright?” I asked in a gentle voice. She turned her head and shook it. 

“It’s just…” She trailed off. 

“Just what?” I asked. 

“I’m just worried.” She said. 

“Worried about what?” I asked. 

“My Mom, Nick, these people that are watching us…” She said and I sighed. 

“You shouldn’t worry, your Mom and brother are fine and as for the people we’ll beat them if it comes to that.” I said. 

“I can’t help but worry…” She said. I looked at my girlfriend in silence for a few minutes, but smiled as an idea came to my head. I sat up and moved so I was hovering over Alicia. 

“What are you doing?” She asked. I smirked and started tickling her stomach. She immediately started laughing and I smiled. 

“S-Stop!” She said between laughs. Her face was turning red from laughing so hard. I continued tickling her for a few minutes before I stopped. When I stopped Alicia immediately got out of bed and I laughed. 

“You made me have to pee!” She cried. She came back after a few minutes and snuggled into my side. 

“Thanks, I needed that.” She said. 

“Any time, babe.” I said and pecked her lips. 

“I love you so much.” She said and pulled me back in for a kiss. 

“I love you too.” I said and wrapped her in a hug.

Proposing and getting married was the last thing on anyone's mind in an apocalypse.

But in yours, it was currently the first.

You were searching everywhere for Alicia. That's when you saw her on a ladder painting with Wes. You couldn't help but admire her so focused on her painting.

"Alicia?" You call for her, she sets her paintbrush down and looks back and down at you. Her face breaks into a smile and nods at Wes. She starts going down the ladder to kiss your cheek.

"You ok?" She asks when she sees your worried face. You didn't respond just grabbed her hand and pulled her away from everyone. You entered an empty building and Alicia raised an eyebrow. You're not here to kill me are you?" She jokes and you smile.

"You got me." You say and kiss her on the lips. You grab her hands and sigh. "I uh- I need to ask you something."

"Ok." She swayed your arms together nervously.

"I want to marry you." Alicias eyes widened. "I want to marry you because I love you so much. This whole thing with Virginia you and I both know it's not over. If something happens to either of us, I want to know that I was married to the love of my life." You noticed her shock. Your heartbeat quickly and you dropped your hands. "I'm sorry I shouldn't have asked." You turn away from her and start to walk away when you feel her hands grab your shoulder and twist you around to face her. She brought her hands up to your face and held them there.

"Yes." She says and you sigh in relief and lean into her hands. "I would love to marry you."

"I don't have a ring, sorry." You smile nervously.

"I don't need a ring to show that I love you."

"But I feel like we are going to need some because all these boys have been making eyes at you and I don't think they get the idea you are mine, ugh especially that Wes dude." You joke and Alicia laughs and pulls you into a hug.

"Anything you want, I want." She kisses your neck and you smile.

"Then let's marry, right here, right now." Alicia laughed not believing you.

"What about everybody else?"

"Do you want everyone else? Because I will go get them right now." You point back with your thumb.

"Hey I know you're desperate but can we have a somewhat nice wedding, no dresses or anything but you know the music, the maid and man of honor or just maids of honor." Alicia pressed her lips together waiting for your answer.

"I'll tell Morgan." You say and pull her into a deep kiss. You circled your arms around her waist and let your hands fall to her ass to grope her. She gasped into your mouth and pulled away to kiss down your neck. You moaned slightly before slapping her ass and pulling away. "Save it for the wedding night." You left her there in shock.

"Morgan, I need to talk to you." You say and he stops what he was doing.

"Everything ok?"

"Ya, ya it's just, Me and Alicia are getting married." You smile and grab your fingers nervously.

"Well, I'll be damned." He grabbed your shoulder and smiled before turning to everyone. "Hey everybody, Alicia and Y/n are getting married." Someone comes up behind you and you see Alicia. She wraps an arm around your torso and smiles at you. Everyone congratulated you both, you felt weird with all the attention.

"And there's one more thing," Alicia announces making everyone stop. "We want to get married now." Everyone looked at each other and a few people stepped forward.

"I can officiate weddings." Says Rabbi Jacob and you nod.

"I've been teaching Charlie how to play my guitar, maybe she can try to play some music." Says Daniel and you look at Charlie and give her a big smile.

"Thank you." Says Alicia.

"We can do it in church, let us clean it up some." Someone said, everyone agreed, it seemed the announcement of a wedding lifted people's spirits especially after everything that went down.

"I can't believe this is happening." You say and smile down at Alicia.

"Never thought id get married in an apocalypse." She says and kisses your cheek.

"We should walk each other down the aisle." You propose and Alicia shrugs.

"I don't see why not."

They had informed you everything was ready so now you and Alicia were standing in front of the doors. You noticed how sad Alicia got and you nudged her.

"What's wrong, getting cold feet?" You ask her but she shakes her head

"No not that, it's just, I wish my mom and Nick were here." You grab Alicia's shoulder and pull her close.

"Hey, I just know they are so proud of you, and I also know that they are with you always. They're probably here right now watching you." You smile at her and kiss her head. Alicia sighs and rests her head on your shoulder. The doors opened revealing Morgan smiling.

"Are we ready?" He asks and you nod. You hold out your arm so that Alicia could slip her arm through yours. Morgan turns back and nods into the room and opens the doors for you. Everyone stands and Charlie begins playing a not-so-smooth tune but at least she's trying. You made it to the front and let Alicia go so she can move to her side. You step in front of her and smile, butterflies immediately filling your stomach.

"Do we have any rings?" Asks the Rabbi and your eyes flicker between him and Alicia as she shakes her head.

"I guess not." You say and he was about to speak when Dwight stands up.

"I um, I have something." He says and digs in his front pocket and pulls out three rings.

"We shouldn't." You say but he shakes his head.

"You guys deserve this, it's the least I can do."

"You're going to find your wife." Says Alicia

"I don't know what Virginia has in store, Sherry could be a bargaining chip, ill find her on my own terms, when I do, I won't be needing these because it will be a fresh start for the both of us." He hands them to you and you hold out your hand so he can place them in your palm.

"Thank you." You say and turn back to Alicia. You hand her a ring and you keep one.

"Do you Y/n take Alicia to be-."

"I'm sorry I need to say something." Alicia cuts Jacob off. He smiles and nods his head at her.

"Umm, when my mom and brother died I didn't think I'd ever been happy again. When you and I became a couple you showed me that I can still be happy. In this short time, we've been together, I feel like I've known you for a lifetime, which is why I know I want to spend the rest of my life with you. I love you Y/n L/n." You hear the crowd aww and you sniffle.

"You're going to make me cry." You say and wipe your eyes and people laugh. Alicia nods at Jacob for him to continue.

"Ok, Y/n do you take Alicia to be your lawful wedded wife, through good times and the bad, in sickness and in health, for the rest of your days?"

"I do."

"Alicia, do you take Y/n to be your lawful wedded wife, through good times and the bad, in sickness and in health, for the rest of your days?"

"I do." She says and you grab her hand and slid the ring on her finger. She then grabs yours and did the same. You both tested the fit, the rings only moved a little so it wasn't terrible.

"It's a broken world, but each union sees a little piece of everything set right. Its Tikkun Olam, the repair of the world. And it's with great pleasure, that I now pronounce you Wife and Wife."

You and Alicia smile and lean into a kiss. You hear everyone cheer but you frown out the sounds. All you feel is Alicia, nobody else. You immediately pull away and break the glass bottle under your feel

"Mazal Tov." You say and throw your hands up and everyone repeats it while clapping. Alicia holds your hand and smiles at her family before turning to you.

"Me and you are going to get through this." She says and you place a hand on her cheek and kiss her.

"Ya, we are. Together."

Summary- Being jealous of how close Wes and Alicia are getting

Ever since Wes decided to hang around the group, he wouldn't stop talking to Alicia. And now they have a whole connection through a stupid painting on a tree(you just didn't understand). You've never had a connection like in the time you've been dating her.

You and Alicia had started dating a little after the storm. You bonded in the house you had to seek shelter in. You confessed to each other and went from there.

You didn't think you'd ever have to deal with jealousy. You were wrong.

You got teamed up with Alicia and Wes to take out a group of walkers that got too close to camp and you were not happy. Wes was trying to make conversation with Alicia and he was talking too much making you snap at him to shut up. Alicia glared at you and was confused about why you snapped.

Alicia spotted the group of walkers and you realized more and more were joining the group.

"We need to take them out, there's already stragglers joining." You say and they nod in agreement.

"Okay, we take them out quickly and watch out for Virginia's people." Says Alicia and starts making her way behind the herd. Wes immediately follows her and you huff, you grab his arm and tug him back making him tumble.

"What the hell is your problem." He seethed and your rolled your eyes and turned around to face him but walking backward.

"Shut the fuck up." You turn back around and catch up to Alicia(who heard everything) right before stabbing the first walker.

After taking out the herd and a few close calls, you all slumped down on the ground in exhaustion.

"We should get back." You say and stand up. You started walking when you felt a hand encase your arm. You turn around to see Alicia frowning.

"What is up with you? You've been rude to Wes all day." You sigh and shift your weight and lower your head to look at your shoes.

"I'm jealous." You say too low for her to hear.

"What was that?" She leans her head down to catch what you said and you huffed in frustration. You look over Alicia's shoulder and saw Wes standing awkwardly staring at the two of you.

"I'm jealous of Wes and you. You guys have this connection that I and you don't have and I'm scared you may leave me." You admit and bite your lip awaiting her answer. That's when you heard her laughing, you glared at her then looked away in embarrassment. She then grabbed your face and planted her lips on yours, you instantly melted into the kiss and you grabbed her hips, pulling her in close.

Wes cleared his throat and you pulled away out of breath.

“We have some of those walkers coming our way, we need to move.” He walked quickly past you both and you smirked. You grabbed Alicia's face and pulled her into a harsh kiss making her moan at the roughness. You pulled away and pecked her lips.

“You’re mine, don’t ever forget that.”

"Y/n, seriously, you're gorgeous." Jake said while looking at y/n, his charming smile making Alicia so nervous that she wanted to punch him in the face. Y/n blushed a bit while writing down on her registers what kind of supplies the Ranch was missing. She mostly took care of making sure that food, water, weapons and medicines were always enough for everyone in the Ranch. She raised her eyes from the register. "Thanks Jake, you're kind." She said, visibly embarrassed. The boy shook his head and smiled. "I'm honest. Why don't we have dinner together tonight? I could come to your house" He asked and quickly glanced at her house, behind them, his hand reaching to caress her face. She bit her lower lip and pretended to scratch the back of her head to avoid his touch. "Uhm, I'm actually busy with..." She didn't know what to say, so Alicia stepped in the conversation. "She's busy with me." She said and y/n looked at her, gratitude in her eyes. Jake frowned. "But are you sure you don't have time for me later?" He insisted, his arms crossing over his chest. Y/n shook her head. "Not tonight, I'm sorry." She said and Jake puffed, visibly disappointed. "Okay, then some other time perhaps?" He asked and Alicia rolled her eyes. "Jake, your father wanted you, by the way." She lied and Jake nodded. "Okay, see you around." He said and left them.

Alicia puffed. "He's so bothering." She said and y/n chuckled and looked at her. "He just wanted a date." She said while closing the register and putting it on a small table she had outside her house, Alicia nodded. "I don't blame him." She whispered, then she realised that she had just said that out loud. Y/n frowned. "You don't blame him? What does this mean?" She asked, her hands on her hips. Alicia's cheeks went pink while she shrugged. "Nothing, it's just... you look beautiful." She said, her voice soft. Y/n raised her eyebrows: she couldn't believe what she just heard. She had a crush on Alicia since she arrived at the Ranch, but she never said a single word because she didn't know if Alicia could like her back. Y/n decided to go with the flow.

"Do you think so? Thank you, Alicia, you look beautiful too." She complimented, her smile making Alicia swallow her own saliva. "Uhm, why didn't you accept to go out with Jake? He's hot." Alicia nervously asked. Y/n smiled and shook her head, how naive could that girl be. "He's not my type." Y/n simply said while taking a step forward, her eyes stuck on Alicia while she was chewing the internal part of her cheek. "Oh okay, and how would you describe you type?" She asked while staring at y/n, she looked more confident than ever. "Alicia, I thought it was quite clear..." She whispered, her face centimetres away from Alicia's. She was looking at her, her big eyes filled with confusion. Y/n smiled and brushed a lock of her brown hair behind her ear. "You're my type." She concluded. Alicia's heart almost skipped a beat, her stomach filled with butterflies while y/n smiled at her, her y/e/c eyes staring with such an intensity. "Am I?" Alicia asked, her cheeks pink.

Y/n chuckled and caressed her cheek. "You are." Y/n concluded and gently placed a kiss on her lips, as to make sure that she was okay with it. Alicia initially tensed up, her arms long her body and her eyes widened, then she relaxed and, as soon as y/n's lips left hers, she pulled her toward herself to kiss her again. Her lips crushed on y/n's this time, Alicia caressed the back of her head and y/n grabbed her waist, her fingers delicately caressing her hips. Alicia gasped when y/n pushed her against the door of her house and smiled on her lips. "Maybe we should go inside." She whispered out of breath. Y/n smirked while opening the door of her house, her lips never letting Alicia's, and gently pushed her inside. The girls immediately walked to the bed: Alicia pushed y/n down and moved on the top of her, her eyes now filled with lust. Y/n kissed her neck, her hands brushing Alicia's hair away from her neck to have more access to her skin. "You smell so good." Y/n whispered before biting her earlobe, Alicia moaned and bit her lower lip. "Y/n, I've never..." She tried to say, but she suddenly stopped and got nervous. "Okay, take the damn registers and leave." She said while picking up the books and passing them to him. He distractingly took them while y/n slightly pushed him outside. She closed the door and, this time, locked it. "This was..." She tried to say, but Alicia interrupted her. "Embarrassing."

"Hilarious."

They both said at the same time. The girls laughed while y/n sat next to Alicia again. "I'm sorry, I should have locked but you distracted me." Y/n apologized while caressing her leg. Alicia smiled and pushed her on the bed. "Well, at least he's not going to flirt with you anymore." She joked while caressing her hip, her fingers sliding under her shirt. Y/n smirked. "True, now let's go back to where we was." She said and grinned.

I was on guard duty, looking over the baseball field. I can’t believe we were actually here. I heard someone coming up and I quickly turned around to see Alicia. I smiled at her and looked back to the outside world. Ever since I met Alicia I’ve had a crush on her. We’ve flirted with each other before, but never really defined what we were to each other. 

“Hey.” She said. 

“Hey, what are you doing up here? Your Mom send you on guard duty?” I asked. She leaned against the fence, facing the opposite way. 

“Nah, just wanted to spend time with you.” He said and I smiled over at her. She looked tired, but it seemed everyone was now a days. 

“Oh really? You sure you aren’t just getting away from your brother?” I asked with a smirk. 

“Okay maybe that, but I do want to spend time with you.” She said and I laughed slightly. I was also laughing to hide the butterflies that were taking over my stomach. 

“And I convinced Mom to let you off watch for a bit.” She added and I smiled. 

“Who’s taking over?” I asked and she shrugged. 

“Don’t know.” She said and sat down on the little cot we set up here. 

“Thanks.” I said and sat next to her. I stared straight ahead of me and tried to keep my blush under control. 

“Alicia?” I asked and looked over to see her laying down. I giggled and shook my head at her. She opened her arms and smiled at me. I laid down and we didn’t talk for a few minutes. 

“What did you wanna say?” She asked after a bit. 

“Oh, it was nothing.” I said, brushing it off. 

“You know you can tell me anything.” She said and I sighed. 

“I was just wondering what are we?” I asked and she looked at me confused. 

“What do you mean?” She asked. 

“Like are we dating or what?” I asked and she smiled. 

“Yeah, we’re dating.” She said and I smiled. I snuggled closer to her and she held me a little tighter. 

“Y/N?” She asked. 

“Hm?” I hummed, looking up at her. 

“I love you.” She said and my heart fluttered. 

“I love you too.” I said and kissed her for the first time. 

A few weeks later our little base got invaded. We tried to defend it, but we couldn’t. We has to leave. Alicia had found me and we started running. Right when we got out I kissed her. I wanted to be sure I kissed her in case we didn’t see each other again. 

“I love you.” I said. 

“I love you too, now run!” She said and I ran. As I was running I looked back to see if Alicia was following me, but she was nowhere to be seen. I wanted to call out for her, but there were so much dead around. So I just ran. 

Weeks went by and I was alone. Luckily I was good at hunting so I could survive on my own. I found a car that didn’t run so I was using it as a shelter. Honestly I was scared I was going to die. I had a run in with some group that wasn’t very friendly, so I had to run again. I got a bit hurt, some cuts and bruises, but other than that it’s nothing I can’t handle. I was in the woods trying to catch my breath and patch myself up when I heard a twig snap and quickly grabbed my knife. I turned around and my eyes widened. 

“Y/N?” Alecia asked and I felt my eyes start to tear up. 

“Alicia? Is it really you?” I asked. She rushed over to me and saw my wounds. 

“I thought you were dead…” I said and she gently caressed my cheek. 

“What happened to you?” She asked. 

“Had a run in with some assholes, I’ll be fine.” I said. I hissed in pain as she started helping me bandage up. 

“I’m so glad you’re safe.” I said and pulled her down for a kiss. 

“Come on, let’s get you back to everyone.” She said and helped me up. We were back together and I wasn’t gonna let her out of my sight ever again.

Another year in the hell we call the world now. Another year that probably most of the world were corpse walking around. Another shit year. The only thing that made everything worth it was my girlfriend Alicia. She was the rock that kept me grounded. When everything got to be too much she was the one that was there to help me.
