Been a while since I posted progress on my Eala Bhan sweater. This image shows that I have continued the cabled braids up into the armholes. I am a few rows past this now, almost to the shoulder shaping. This is just the back piece; there is yet the front right, front left, collar, and button bands to knit. Then all the washing and blocking, then sewing the pieces together, then sewing the buttons on. Borrowed a friends dress form to help me pin up my sleeves because although they fit into the armholes well, they drooped off of my shoulders like drop shoulders. So I raised one up across half the shoulder seam. In the second picture you can see the difference. On me it looks so much better. I’m leaving the ends out in case I need to adjust them again after I redo the first one. PS, sleeves are way too long even when they start higher.
