Life throws us places we never thought we would be thrown into. During that time, we get surprised by our resilience and capabilities. That resilience comes from Imaan, our tawakkul, "Allah does not burden a soul beyond what it can bear," we recite repeatedly unto ourselves. Then we see Allah bringing forth the duas we made aforetime. Subhanallah, it was all a setting to get to what we wanted in the first place.

If Allah عَزَّ وَجَلَّ ‎had not guided us, we would be among those who are astray. What a scary thought.
