Hitchcocktober 😱 🔪Day 23: The 39 Steps 💀 Of a number of "innocent man on the run" films Hitchcock made, this is one of the better ones (and one of the stronger films of the earlier portion of his career). There are apparently 4 films made over the years, based on the novel it's adapted from, though this (the first), is considered the best (often the only one mentioned). Though was a hilarious comedy play made of it that I saw a few times.
