We worked together on Soundtrack, and every single time you entered the room we all felt it get brighter. You were shiny, magnetic and so so kind. The same day as my audition a few mere hours later I got the call that the role was mine (pretty rare in this industry) I went in to do my fitting and thats when I met Jahmil, Spencer and AJ for the first time as they played an iconic trio on the show. They were all super friendly and nice to me and made me feel very welcomed to be joining the cast. I was nervous and 15 at the time. Jahmil was the integral glue that held the circle together and its would lead to an amazing friendship that I got to have with Spencer. I had only been slated to do 3 episodes on the show but I believe it was the on screen chemistry Jahmil and I had that lead me to stick around for longer. Jahmil always had a smile on his face. I would come in at 5am for our call to do prep and be so tired, but there he was hanging out in the green room dancing so full of energy and life. Jahmil LOVED dancing and he was really good at it too. And I’d ask him “How do you even have this much energy this early LOL” and he’d just laugh and smile. Any time we went down to block he’d be word perfect on his lines, hit every mark and bring such an amazing professionalism to the set it was mesmerizing to watch. He played every scene with a new beat that always kept it interesting and fresh. Jahmil was and still is such a kind hearted dedicated person who eventually really went on to flourish in his career and he will be deeply missed. what would u say are the degrassi fcs that need more resources the most? s1-14 preferable... looking to make some gif packs for the underused faces

hi! i see a lot of people wanting to roleplay as older gen characters (manny, emma, craig, etc) and i feel like there really aren’t a lot of resources for any actors pre-season 10, but it’s also super old content unless you want to find anything that any of them have done recently. (the only ones with steady, updated resources are nina dobrev, drake, and shenae grimes). however i personally think it’s better to play the most recent characters, and a lot of the actors of color are the ones lacking in resources. reiya downs, richard walters and aj saudin i feel like have the least, but there are also a lot of people who aren’t main characters that i wish people would play that exist inside of the degrassi universe instead of creating original characters, like these: nicole samantha huff as gloria chin tyler stentiford as liam berish joelle farrow as jacinta morley (she’s an influencer now so LOTS of content to make stuff from) stephan james as julian williams aidan greene as cliff jacobs devyn nekoda as arlene takahashi (who is in a new series now!) brendan jeffers as vince bell alexx benoit as sadie rowland i made a full list at this link here a couple of years ago  but honestly feel free to hit me up if you need any links to content to create the resources from - i’ll be happy to help because i had originally started a page for links for that specific reason
