New blog!

This is a space for me to talk about hockey and be generally annoying (affectionate) about my favorite sport.

I’m Alex, I use she/they pronouns, and I’m 27. If I follow/like, it will be from @gregorygerwitz, which is my main blog where I’ll be 99% of the time when I’m not actively watching a game. Feel free to follow it if you’re interested, or don’t - it’s definitely more fandom-centric, even if all of my older hockey posts are over there. And it’s not for everyone.

As for this blog...

Teams I generally root for: - Seattle Kraken - San Jose Sharks - Toronto Leafs - Boston Bruins - Chicago Blackhawks (this one is like exclusively for blorbo solidarity)

However, who knows what this post-season and next season or the seasons after that will bring? Don’t be shocked if I start rooting for another team or drop one of these or follow players around as they move around in their careers.

Right now, the only players I’m deeply invested in are Alex Wennberg, Tye Kartye, and Matty Beniers, all in Seattle. But this is something else that could change with or without warning.

My only rule here is be nice. I won’t hesitate to block people if you’re obviously just being an ass or if you do anything that makes me uncomfortable in my space. If this blog isn’t for you, you’re allowed to unfollow at any time. Regulate your own online experience 💜
