She was too precious, and lovely, Alexis felt incredibly lucky that she was getting a chance to snatch her away. Potentially, she thought with a grin, she could take her on a real date. Alexis liked being tall, and she liked having a pretty girl at her side. "You don't have to do that hun, getting to hand out is all the repayment I need," she reassured her as she let her nose brush against her hair. Kenzie gave her hand a gentle squeeze and she gave a content sigh. "That sounds like an excellent suggestion!" The brunette could have skipped she was so excited. "Maybe I could win you a prize and everything!"

kenzie was sure that she would rather spend a million dates with alexis than ever experience the horrible date her friends had set her up with. she wasn't someone who much believed in fate but she couldn't help to admit that they definitely had a hand in bringing alexis to her life tonight. even as alexis spun her around and pulled her into her side it was like they meshed together perfectly. "don't you worry, i'll make it up to you for rescuing me tonight." she promised, her hand taking hold of alexis's and giving it a gentle squeeze. "oh please, i know you want to spend time with me." she replied back with a grin. "mmmm how about the boardwalk? it's not too far from here! i saw it on my walk to the restaurant, it's on the way from my apartment."

Alexis was always a bit of a whirlwind, a wild child. Perhaps it was how she was raised but she just didn't want to let a moment pass her by, and so much of the real world was too beautiful to pass up. Like right now, with this woman. Kenzie was looking at her in a way that made Alexis feel as though she sparkled. She let out that beautiful bubbling giggle and Alex grinned a toothy smile, she wanted to hear that sound again, and to keep her smiling. She had such a pretty smile after all. She placed a sweet kiss on her cheek and Alexis felt her heart race. "You don't have to worry about that gorgeous," she assured her still holding her hand. She raised their arms, twirling the woman under hers before seamlessly draping her arm around Kenzie's shoulder, hugging her at her side. "Yeah, I think I can manage to spend a bit more time with you." She teased, looking down at her. "Where do you wanna go?"

Kenzie was completely enthralled by Alexis, it was almost like fate had brought her right to Kenzie. From the way she moved to the way she spoke, it was like Kenzie couldn't get enough of her. When she leaned towards Kenzie she caught a whiff of the other girl's perfume and it made her head swim, she'd never been this taken by another woman. With a smile Kenize took her hand, letting her lead the way out of the restaurant. She cast one more look over her shoulder at her pitiful date, if they'd looked back they would have caught her slipping out the door with the other woman. The moment they were outside Kenzie couldn't contain her laughter, she let out a fit of giggles into the night air before turning back to Alexis with a grateful expression. "I owe you so much Alexis." She leaned over to her and placed a gentle kiss on the other woman's cheek. "You know, since my date was kind of a bust, would you be willing to spend a bit more time with me?"

Alexis was happy to make such a beautiful face smile, and she intended to keep it up as long as she could. She could see that the woman was amused as she easily gave her former date a piece of her mind. She didn't care one bit that he was looking pouty and miserable on his side of the room. When she said she loved her name Alexis grinned and wiggled a little in her seat. "Well thanks dollface, I have come to like it too." Though her last name was another story. As she leaned in to whisper Alexis did the same, meeting her part way. Alexis gave her a wink as she stood up and reached out to take her hand. "You know, it's always a pleasure to make a pretty girl happy."

kenzie's eyes watched alexis the entire time she went and took in her date, even from the side this woman was stunning, kenzie couldn't stop the flutter of her heart when she looked back at her. "that's true, when it comes to men my bar doesn't seem to be very high." she confessed, resting her head in her hand. kenzie couldn't stop the look of shock and then humor that adorned her face when alexis spoke so loudly, even giggling as alexis looked back at her. "alexis...i absolutely love that name." she said with a smile. she looked at her date one more time before leaning closer to alexis so she could whisper in her ear. "im thinking it's time for me to dip out of here, and it would make me the happiest girl on earth if you came with me, alexis."

Alexis could have fallen over as the woman smiled at her. She was an absolute knock out and she was pleased to have the company. Alexis let her eyes follow over to the guy she was talking about. She scanned him over before she shrugged her shoulders. "Well he is a man so bars already on the ground and if his looks are all he has going for him you made a good call getting out of there." She saw him lurking around the table looking annoyed and pouty. She couldn't help but roll her eyes. "Jesus dude, you snooze you loose." She said a little too loud, not caring if he heard her or not. "I think you have as well, Kenzie, gorgeous name for a gorgeous gal. I'm Alexis."

Kenzie flashed her an award winning smile, greatful that she was so willing to help her in this situation. It also helped that the woman was drop dead gorgeous, Kenzie clearly chose the right table to intrude upon tonight. "You are a doll as well as my savior." Kenzie's eyes took her in slowly, not being very subtle about what she was doing. her eyes snapped back up and she stole a glance at her horrid date partner who was now lurking around the table she'd only just escaped from. "Him. Don't let his looks fool you, he's terrible company." She looked back at her with a smile. "Besides, I think i've found a better companion for the evening. I'm Kenzie."

Alexis perked up as she saw the other woman sitting across from her. She listened carefully and a smile slipped across her face. "Oh sweetheart you don't need to pay me." An opportunity to flirt with a gorgeous stranger. She leaned forward shamelessly moving her hand through the front of the strangers hair, twirling her finger around her dark locks. "So who are you avoiding?" She whispered with an arch of her brow.

plot: kenzie is on the worst date at a restaurant and your muse just so happens to be sitting alone. she comes to them in desperation to pretend they've been dating so she will be left alone.

"I know how this looks and I know I sound crazy, but I need you to pretend that we're on a date and that we're in a serious relationship, okay?" Kenzie glanced over her shoulder as she sat down opposite them at the table. "I'll pay you, okay? Please just go along with this."
