The nausea was not as bad today! It was still there at times. But it was not as horrible and I was able to work through it for the most part.
And I had a pretty good day. I was very worried about going back to camp. I was anxious about not feeling good. I was tired. I didn't know what else besides my hammock would be broken. But it ended up being a really nice day.
I didn't sleep amazing. I had pretty intense nightmares again. And when my alarm went off my stomach hurt and I was not comfortable. But James would come upstairs and be all smiley and made me feel just a little better.
I got dressed and I really liked this shirt with this dress. I was feeling good about my look and that was nice.
James made me a breakfast sandwich and some snacks to bring to work. Which I would have for lunch later on. They would walk me to the car because they love me and promised to let me know how the fence install went.
I had a fine drive into camp. And when I got there I was pleasantly surprised. There was some stuff to put away but mainly everything was clean and good. A few of my toys that I have for the kids were a little worse for wear. A drum got broken. And was repaired kind of. But it was mainly fine.
I would get set up and worked on cutting clay into equal sized balls so that I could quickly hand out everything to the children throughout the day. And that was a nice little task. Just cutting and rolling and bagging them up. It was fun.
I had my breakfast and it was great. And I wished I and a second one. I knew it wouldn't actually make me feel great. But man it was good.
I had some time to hang in my hammock. And take a walk to the office to say hello to Heather and Alexi. Got a big hug from Heather. And checked in with her about picking up plaster at Home Depot this week. Which I may do on Wednesday but I need to check in about that.
My groups were great today. Everyone loved the project. I think it really helped that I talked about different scales, heroic, light sized, miniature. And how having such a small little munchkin of clay was a challenge I was giving them. And literally no one whined that they didn't have enough clay and I was so thrilled about that. And for the most part people worked really hard and it was great.
We had some fun pieces made. Video game characters. Animals. Food. Flowers. It's so fun to see what they come up with.
I teased the councilor who broke my hammock. He owned up to it and will pay me back for it. I already ordered the replacement. It made us have a real world example for why we have the hammock rules we do. Because he broke it flipping upside down! Which is a specific rule!!
I stayed at the art building during lunch. Ate my snack lunch and hung out in the hammocks and it was great. It made me feel a lot better. A lot more centered. And I only felt a little guilty for avoiding going to the dining hall. I just needed to be alone.
I got a lot of knitting today. And at the end of the day I counted and I have 66 squares done! I started using the last color I bought. Which is grey. I have two more skiens and then I'll have to get more. I think the rest of the squares will be black. I would like this to be majority a black quilt. I'm pretty pleased.
The afternoon was easy. Day camp was mainly great. We had one day camp one child who I don't think has ever been told no ever because the way he melted down was horrible. I couldn't even get him to breathe with me. He was just scream crying. It was rough. But then another child I realized I knew from the nursery school I subbed at! He was and is such a sweetie and he was so cute. I love when kids from my winter life intersect with my summer life. It's nice to see them grow up a little bit at a time.
My last group was bontkirchen. James had let me know when the contractors were there and starting the fence. But around this time they were leaving to go to a double header baseball game. So I would be there for the end of the job. And I would be leaving camp early to have my virtual rhumatologist appointment. Bontkirchen is always chill though so it was just fine.
The girls would do beads and bracelets and hang in the hammocks. Sew and play with clay and I enjoyed their company. I was chomping at the bit to go though. I was anxious about being late. It ended up absolutely not mattering. But at 3 I said goodbye and headed home.
The drive home was a struggle because I was so tired and the nausea came back the worst it was all day. And right as I was pulling into our street the rhumatologist called me to check me in. But the actual appointment wouldn't be for almost an hour.
I went inside and the contractors were in the kitchen filling a bucket with water for the concrete. I was excited to see what they had done so far.
And the fence was mostly up! And it looked great. But it wasn't the correct fence! I have decided that it's fine. That I like it. But we had ordered a lattice topped fence?? So this was confusing but I decided that I don't actually care that much.
The contractors were nice. James had mostly spoken to them in Spanish and they seemed nervous around me. I kept telling them they could come inside and get water or whatever they needed but they were so nervous! It was fine. They were great and working so hard. It was so crazy hot outside and they were doing so good.
I went downstairs to check on Sweetp and he was upset that he had been banished to the basement all day. He kept trying to escape and I bumped him in the head with the door and I felt so bad! But he was okay and just had to be patient.
I waited upstairs for my appointment. And it would take forever to get on the call but I did get on it and it was a nice chat about my pains and aches and such. And I was done by 445.
And that was good. Because soon the contractors were calling for me. And I went down and got them ice water. And asked them to add some extra wood at the bottom of the fence so there wasn't so much of a gap. They would do it on the one wall but not the other and I didn't notice until later so I'll have to deal with that soon. But that's alright. A small thing.
They finished up and I thanked them and they left. And I got to work putting things back together. And I am absolutely thrilled.
I struggled with getting the catio back in place but I got everything else. And I was just really happy. And also so incredibly hot. I have no idea how they were working out there. Because I thought I was going to die I was so overheated after sweeping and moving the rugs and planter boxes.
I was basically shaking and sweating. And went and sat in the shower and ran cold water on myself until I felt like a person again.
Only then would I wash my hair and my self and I felt a lot better. Still not incredible but a lot better.
Once I was clean and dressed I would do some cleaning downstairs. I soaked Crabcake. I wiped down the kitchen. I put up a fly strip because having the door open for so long today let I. A bunch of flies which I hate!!
And while I was doing that cleaning I had vegan fish fillets in the oven.
I laid on the couch and had my dinner and it was great. James was at the baseball game and was having fun with our friends.
But then there was thunder. And all of a sudden a crazy crazy storm came in. The backyard was flooding. The street was flooding. It was wild! I ran around the house making sure that there wasn't any water coming in. Cleaned up the water that was from the guest room and the back door. The power briefly went out. It was just a lot!
I couldn't even look out the door for any length of time because the rain was so heavy. I would post up in bed to watch it from my window.
James and crew were getting rained out hard at the game. James couldn't even leave to come home it was raining so bad. But once the rain calmed down they would come home to me.
And now they are there!! They moved the last couple pieces in the backyard and we are thrilled. The backyard seems so much bigger. And I'm just really happy. Even if it isn't exactly what we wanted it's so good. We have a few more things to fix out there but that's okay. I am just really happy. James is going to see if we can get some compensation for things being wrong and off schedule. But I will leave that to them.
Now it is time to rest. Tomorrow is a long day and I hope it is a good time. It is supposed to rain more. But that is okay. I am just looking forward to a good day.
Sleep well everyone. I hope you are safe and happy. Goodnight!!

St Neots Town 1-0 Tiverton Town
The last time Tiverton Town played St Neots at The Premier Plus Stadium was nearly four years ago on 8th April 2014 in the second leg of the Southern League Cup Final. In front of 522 people St Neots beat Tiverton by one goal to nil with a 43rd minute Lewis Hilliard goal. Tiverton were looking to avenge that defeat and hoped that the adage that lightening doesn’t strike in the same place twice came true.
The pitch was in excellent condition and despite rain in the previous week the green like baize looked an ideal playing surface to play some neat football on. This was one of the best surfaces that I have seen since Christmas 2017. Tivvy started with the usual 3-5-2 formation with Alexis Andre Jnr in goal with the wing backs Jamie Short in for the injured Nick Hurst and Callum Hall. The back three were captain Jamie Price with Tom Gardner alongside Ben Mammola. The midfield three were Scott Rogers alongside Michael Landricombe and making his debut on loan from Bath City for a month George Rigg who replaced the departed previous loan signing River Allen. The front two were Levi Landricombe and Jared Lewington. On the bench was Jordan Rogers, Tom Bath and Owen Irish.
The first ten minutes saw Tiverton start brightly and matched the hosts without creating any clear-cut chances. Jared Lewington was winning his battles at the top of the pitch and the midfield were looking to push forward and thread the ball through to Levi Landricombe. The next thirty-five minutes however Tiverton were forced back into their own half and rarely ventured out again. ST Neots without three regulars started to play with authority and an early Dylan Williams effort after he had cut in from the flanks was a warning signal to Tiverton. Further shots from Jack Bradshaw and David Bridges brought saves out of Andre Jnr and it appeared to be a matter of time before the opening goal would cheer the Saints supporters in the crowd of 284.
The opening goal did come on 26 minutes when a corner was swung in to the back post and a marauding centre half Tom Wood sneaked into the box and powered a header into the Tivvy net. The Saints thought they had a second on 37 minutes when a Nabil Shariff header that evaded Andre Jnr was ruled out for a push in the box. Then moments later a sweet Lewis Irwin volley from a cultured pass from Stefan Broccoli had Andre Jnr beaten all ends up but the goal was again ruled out this time for offside. Tivvy had failed to have a shot on target in the first half and the score-line of 1-0 was fully deserved to the team from Cambridgeshire.
Tiverton came out in the second half with much more purpose and a Nice move found Callum Hall scampering forward and he tested Finlay Iron with a low shot. Michael Landricombe had an effort that went wide and Brother Levi Landricombe had an overhead shot that also went wide of Iron’s goal. Tiverton looking to get at least a point out of the 460-mile round trip then took a positive step and put on Tom Bath and Jordan Rogers with twenty minutes to play for Jamie Price and Scott Rogers. The more attacking formation nearly paid dividends with Rogers running the channels well and getting past his man. Rogers was providing some excellent balls into the box with Tom Bath and Jared Lewington looking to get on the end of the crosses it looked like Tiverton may well take something from the game.
St Neots meanwhile were still dangerous with Shariff having a second shot saved by Andre Jnr and Broccoli and Irwin also stretching the dependable Tivvy back guard. The best chance of the second half then fell to Levi Landricombe who had a trademark lob from 20 yards that young keeper Finlay Iron did well to pluck out of the air. Tivvy for the last ten minutes pilled on the pressure but the Saints back line held firm and there were no major scares for them to overcome.
Lightening unfortunately did strike twice with Tivvy losing 1-0 at St Neots. One bright spot though, with the League restructure next season this is one fixture that is unlikely to occur again. We won’t miss the travelling but the hospitality and welcome we received from St Neots was excellent.
Andre Jnr, Scott Rogers (Jordan Rogers), Callum Hall (Owen Irish), Jamie Price © (Tom Bath), Ben Mammola, Tom Gardner, Jamie Short, George Rigg, Jared Lewington, Levi Landricombe, Michael Landricombe.

Three straight wins to start the season for North London’s finest. Tottenham Hotspur hadn’t won at Old Trafford in almost five years. That doesn’t seem like a long time ago, but in Premier League terms it’s a different era. Tim Sherwood was managing Spurs when they won 2-1 on that day against David Moyes’ Manchester United. Fast forward 1,699 days and the Lilywhites have finally won again at “The Theatre of Dreams. Mauricio Pochettino’s Tottenham beat United 3-0 to continue their perfect start to the new season. Harry Kane bagged his first goal at one of the hallowed halls of European football, and Lucas Moura continued his incredible form by scoring a brace. Incredible support on a special, special night at Old Trafford! #COYS pic.twitter.com/KnMVNkvvDQ — Tottenham Hotspur (@SpursOfficial) August 27, 2018Pochettino’s team included Hugo Lloris, who was named as captain despite his drunk driving arrest last Thursday night. Danny Rose and Mousa Dembele both started for the first time this season. The rest of the team was as expected, but Davinson Sanchez moved to the bench as Poch opted to go play a 4-2-3-1 formation at Old Trafford. Erik Lamela was selected to the bench, but had to be replaced by Luke Amos after being injured in warm-ups. Jose Mourinho faced staunch criticism this week after his team lost to Brighton last weekend. He responded by dropping Eric Bailly and Anthony Martial from the squad completely, while making numerous other changes to the lineup. England internationals Phil Jones and Chris Smalling partnered in central defense, Alexis Sanchez and Victor Lindelof were on the bench, and Nemanja Matic made his first start of the year. Despite the pre-game narrative, United almost scored seconds into the match. Fred’s early foray was representative of a half in which the Red Devils had the better chances. Spurs seemed off and the 4-2-3-1 didn’t seem to be working. Romelu Lukaku should’ve opened the scoring in the 16th minute when he was played in by a terrible back-pass from Rose, who was quite rusty. Lukaku dribbled around Lloris but put the ball wide of an empty net. United tested Hugo a few more times early, but Spurs did eventually show up for the game. Dele Alli wasted a great chance in the 25th minute when he hesitated in the box after catching Matic in possession. Craig Pawson was also wasteful. Spurs looked to have a clear penalty when Lucas Moura was shoved over in the penalty area by Phil Jones. Nothing was given. Mourinho’s side had another opportunity to take the lead in the 34th minute when Paul Pogba forced a save from his French teammate. United collected the rebound and Antonio Valencia eventually delivered a dangerous cross right on the six-yard box. Luckily, the ball went past the post after ricocheting off Jan Vertonghen. Pochettino became quite aggravated in the final moments of the half as Spurs again squandered their chances. They wasted quite a few numerical advantages in attack due to some mistimed passes and conflicting runs. The second half couldn’t have been more of a contrast. Tottenham were clinical. De Gea had a few warning shots in the opening moments of the period, and then Spurs made one count. Harry Kane rose above Jones on a corner kick and connected to produce an immaculate header that flew into the far corner. The frantic pace continued as United almost struck back right away. Lukaku was played through but Lloris got down well to deny his effort. Then, just a moment later, Spurs made it two. Christian Eriksen took advantage of an uneven United backline and was found by Kieran Trippier. Lucas bursted into the box just as Eriksen’s cross did, and he met it sweetly to finish low and past De Gea. The second goal changed the game. Spurs decided to sit back and defend more than they had been. United’s response was expected. Mourinho made subs and pleaded with his team to up their intensity. They almost got one back in the 61st minute, but Toby Alderweireld made a magnificent tackle to thwart Jesse Lingard’s intrusion. Questions are often asked about Spurs’ mentality in big games like this, but they never really looked like giving up the lead. They were quite comfortable in seeing things out. Lucas Moura was the best player on the pitch. The Brazilian winger showed it time and time again, including in the 84th minute when he put the cherry on top. He took the ball on a counter-attack and embarrassed Smalling. As the defender fell to the ground our new hero surged into the box and smashed a shot into the side netting. Go on Lucas Moura! His second of the day! #MUNTOT pic.twitter.com/pWgbGjxYYo — NBC Sports Soccer (@NBCSportsSoccer) August 27, 2018The traveling Tottenham fans erupted once again. They then had the joy of spending the last few minutes of the match taunting Mourinho, and of course, taunting Alexis Sanchez. For Jose it was his biggest home defeat of his career in any competition. It was a massive win for Spurs that saw them move to second in this early edition of the Premier League table. Up next, a date with Watford this Sunday. #HarryKane #ManchesterUnited #TottenhamHotspur

Sanchez returned to the side after he had joined up with the squad in the U.S. after issues over his visa had been resolved, and the Chile international came close in the first half from a free-kick. Get MUTV for only £7 a month Man Utd fans, watch every preseason game live on MUTV. Only £7 a month with no contract Just after Antonia Valencia was forced off with an early injury, Eric Bailly should have opened the scoring, but headed against the crossbar from point-blank range. Otherwise, United chances were few and far between. San Jose, in fact, had the better of the chances in the second half as Jose Mourinho gave some youngsters minutes. With better opposition to come in the form of AC Milan, Liverpool and Real Madrid in pre-season, United will have to improve a great deal to set themselves up for the coming Premier League campaign. United should have been in front as early as the fourth minute, but Bailly somehow contrived to hit the crossbar from a matter of yards away. The rest of the first half was slow paced, with the Californian heat taking its toll. Sanchez had United's only other effort of note, as he curled a free-kick just wide. Ander Herrera in action with Luis Felipe of San Jose Earthquakes After the break, San Jose changed their entire XI, with United also ringing the changes, and that did not help the flow of the game.Replacement United goalkeeper Lee Grant was by far the busier stopper, with the pick of his saves denying San Jose veteran Chris Wondolowski from just inside the box.Scott McTominay did have a decent opportunity to snatch an undeserved victory for United late on, but his header was tame and saved easily. Jose Mourinho makes a point during Manchester United's friendly against San Jose Earthquakes In the dying embers, Wondolowski powered a header onto the crossbar, but Grant's goal remained unbreached. What's next?United embark upon another International Champions Cup campaign this week, with AC Milan up first on Thursday, before a clash with old foes Liverpool.MUTV is the only place to watch all of Man United's pre-season matches live, and hear first on new signings. A key race meeting of the Historic Sports Car Club’s 2018 race season will be the Legends of Brands Super Prix on the Brands Hatch Grand Prix circuit this weekend (30 June/1 July).
A fabulous entry has been assembled for the event, which includes a fine entry of 50 Formula 1 cars from the Historic Grand Prix Cars Association, split across two grids. Other entry highlights include an over-flowing grid of Historic Formula Fords, over 30 Classic Formula 3 cars and a strong field of Historic F3 cars contesting the annual Nations’ Cup.
After the first six races of the Historic Formula 3 Championship season Jon Milicevic remains unbeaten in his Brabham BT21B. Last time out at Silverstone Andrew Hibberd twice finished right on the winner’s gearbox in his ex-Chris Irwin Brabham BT18 and will +6.be determined to stop Milicevic making it eight from eight.
Steve Smith (Chevron B15), Michael Scott (Brabham BT28) and Jim Timms (Brabham BT21B) are other regular UK front-runners but added to the mix is a strong European contingent including Christoph Widmer (Brabham BT18A) Francois Derossi (Chevron B17) and Roland Fischer (Tecno) as the Nations’ Cup is contested.
Rounds nine and 10 of the Historic Formula Ford Championship will deliver more magnificent racing and two drivers are edging clear in the title race. Ben Mitchell has a modest 12-point lead over Cameron Jackson while defending champion Richard Tarling and former champions Benn Simms and Callum Grant along with other pacesetters including Max Bartell and Ed Thurston will be in the mix.
A double-header for the HSCC’s Derek Bell Trophy features an array of spectacular and powerful single-seaters from the 1970s. Half a dozen mighty F5000s will be topped by the Surtees TS11 of Greg Thornton and the ex-Peter Gethin Chevron B37 of Neil Glover. From the Formula 2 ranks comes Mark Charteris in his March 742, while a celebration of the Formula Atlantic category is a welcome addition. Leading the 1600cc single-seaters will be the cars of Paul Tonkin (Chevron B29), Iain Rowley (March 79B) and Rob Wainwright (Crossle 18F).
The pair of races for the HSCC Classic Formula 3 Championship will be a highlight as a strong contingent of drivers from France pack out the grid. Lee Cunningham heads the points after four rounds in the rare Dallara 381/382 from Edginton Racing. However, two weeks ago at Silverstone Cunningham was edged down the order as David Shaw took a first and a second in his ex-Piquet Ralt RT1.
A very welcome pack of around a dozen drivers from Europe add both quality and quantity to the grid and it was Valerio Leone (March 783) who took an impressive double win when the guests were last at Brands two years ago.
Three classic designs of the era are capably represented in the Historic Grand Prix Cars Association Pre ’61 pack: the Lotus 16 of Philip Walker, the Maserati 250F of Klaus Lehr and the Ferrari Dino of Tony Best. However, the absolute benchmark should be the US-built Scarab of Julian Bronson.
Lotus is well represented on the Pre ’66 grid, with leading drivers in Colin Chapman’s designs including Alex Morton (21) and Peter Horsman (18/21). Notable Cooper pilots include Tony Smith, Rudi Friedrichs and Rob Hall, while the Brabham BT11/19 of Jon Fairley is a likely pacesetter.
John Burton (Chevron B26) heads the field for the Pre ’80 Endurance races and lines up against another Chevron B26 for Andrew Schryver and the rapid Osella PA3 of John Spiers. Heading the Sports 2000 pack are Jonathan Loader (Tiga SC80) and David Axisa (Tiga SC79).
A round of the Classic Clubmans Championship is for the rapid front-engined sports-racing cars of the late 1960s and 1970s, and the weekend includes a celebration of 60 years of the Mallock marque.
Top of the pack is Mark Charteris in his Mallock Mk20/21, which he will race alongside his Formula 2 March 742 this weekend, and taking the fight to Charteris will be local racer John Harrison in his Mallock Mk21, along with similar cars for David Wale, Alan Cook and Mike Lane.
Running on Sunday afternoon is round six of 13 in the Historic Touring Car Championship. Only Ford Mustang racer Mark Watts has won more than one of the five races but the consistent class pace of Hillman Imp racer Adrian Oliver has put him at the head of the table. Donington Park winner Philip House leads the Lotus Cortina pack against similar cars for John Spiers and Nick Stagg, while in the V8 brigade Watts is joined by three more Mustangs including the car of prolific historic racer Greg Thornton.
A single race for the Historic Formula Junior Championship marks round six of the season’s 14 races. Notable contenders are Chris Goodwin in his newly-acquired Lotus 22, Stuart Roach in the rare Alexis Mk4, Peter Morton in the equally rare Lightning Envoyette and Greg Thornton in his Lotus 20/22. Among the front-engined field, the Lola of Justin Fleming should be to the fore along with Alex Morton (father of Peter) in his Condor and Keith Roach (father of Stuart) in his Alexis Mk2.
On Saturday, the first of eight races is at 13.20 after qualifying from 09.00
On Sunday, the first of ten races is at 11.20 after qualifying from 10.00
