hey, so I saw that prince of evil son of evil whatever you wanna call it post that you made a couple days back and I’m thinking it wouldn’t be that many beheadings during that arc, but there’s be like a fuck ton of like assassinations that nobody ever know who the culprit is and it’s left unsolved, and it would be allen and because he doesn’t wanna mess up his popularity so he gets some guards to secretly kill people who are doing things that he doesn’t like very much

this also makes sense thematically, according to Twiright Prank: riliane, as daytime, doing public beheadings that are widely known as being her orders; alexiel, as nighttime, ordering assassinations that are never fully found out and those might as well be considered a sort of curse during pride arc

#answered asks #i would think that alexiel is much better at hiding his emotions than allen. you can never tell whether he's angry or calm #almost all of his expressions look the same to an untrained eye. you had to be able to tell the subtle changes somehow #otherwise you never know what's going on in his head. and that's what makes him even more fearsome #you do smth that you assume that would displease alexiel. then he dismisses it so you're relieved #and then you never wake up in the next morning bc you were killed #alas. imagine if alexiel turns out into a historical figure that even in greed arc no one fully knows the extent of his crimes #there's only very few assassinations confirmed and anything else is up to imagination because there is no evidence #alexiel would be much more controversial in-universe than riliane. you would get different answers on his person depending on who you ask #some call him a wise ruler despite his age. others see him as little more than an egocentric tyrant #but no matter the au he's still the comically serious
