There are some that are not loving the way Chenford is going.

There are some that are happy with everything.

There are some that are happy with some things, but not all.

In the same way there shouldn't be calls to halt all that positivity and love, people! There shouldn't be calls to silence the critics.

If everyone loved the same thing then there wouldn't be so many ways to order a coffee.

I like a lot of cream and sugar, you might like an espresso. Is either way of drinking coffee wrong? No.

People's tumblr is their own tumblr, not yours. Reblog the happy, reblog the critics, reblog a bit of both. It's all good (or bad... ummm.)

That's my take on it.

I really think the writers and show runner think that backstory bothers casual viewers...

There's that, and the fact they think that Tim was shot on Lucy's first day as a rookie. So, ya know, backstory for the show you actually write for is tough, people (but not tough for the fan fic writers that don't actually get paid for writing rookie content) *sigh*

Sometimes I think the show forgets that Lucy was like... kidnapped by a serial killer and buried alive, and died? And that her best friend that she lived with got murdered? And that her parents don’t approve of her career or life choices so she doesn’t even technically have blood family around? And that she’s also been through like a hundred other things that never get brought up again? Yeah, I think about this a lot

Yeah... I dunno.

It wasn't MEH meh.

I feel like I ordered a coffee and got coffee.

But I feel like I wanted a hot coffee and got one that was lukewarm.

The writers could be writing the absolute shiitake mushrooms out of Chenford, and some of the scenes make nice gif sets, but I feel that it's just lacking SOMETHING, for me.

The writers have been pining to write Chenford for 5 seasons, and this is the best they can come up with? There are people who bingewatch The Rookie in like a week and write better fanfiction than this.

And, like Lucy, I didn't stutter.

September 10th Eric's IG vid - Bradford & Thorsen in car (heatwave, hence the shorts 😆) clothing seems to match the 5x07 promo

September 8th - 5x08 is called "The Collar" as Robert Bella's IG post

September 10th - Melissa's IG vid with Eric mentions Lucy dealing with a man with a "bomb strapped around his neck" (in a later BTS vid from set we see Tim & Lucy and stunt doubles on location)

30th September (ish) - Melissa's IG vid possibly Lucy in a black flower top and perhaps "waiting for Eric" can be heard in the background.

October 1st (ish) - Melissa & Eric on set doing S5 promo work. Lucy in a pink tee (does it say "HAPPY :)" on it?) & Tim in grey henley (looks the same as the 5x07 one?)

October 1st - Eric reading car plate 😂 on location. Big black armored police car behind. Source = Melissa's twitter

Part two...

Pre-Thanksgiving recorded montage. And Melissa's that she uploaded later herself. How much can be taken from the hospital locations, Eric being filmed against a black background, and "Lucy" in a floral top? Eric in a coat (and he does wear a coat over his black police shirt a lot - so it's hard to know when the Sergeant II stripe first drops onto that uniform... more on this later)

December 1st - Mel IG story in black tee and police vests. Chen & Thorsen 👍 ('Sen & Chen?! 😝)

December 7th - Melissa on IG with a bts clip, could Lucy and Lopez be working together on something?

December 10th (ish) - Eric does a cameo and he's not wearing a coat over his police shirt. There is one more stripe on his shoulder insignia. Meaning he is now Sergeant II.

December 11th - bts video (Eric once again in a coat) but it looks like he's wearing the same shirt from the previous paintball bts video (posted by Eric on IG)
