October 14th - Melissa's IG photo of her getting makeup done at what looks like the railings of a sports/school baseball location & a BTS baseball pic (I've got no clue where that baseball photo originally came from)

October 15th (ish) Melissa's IG vid - Lucy in white tee and denim jacket/shirt going to location 👀

October 25th/26th - Melissa's IG, Lucy all banged up & Thorsen covered in debris with bruises and cuts. What has happened here? And what will Tim make of this? 🤔

October 28th - Melissa's "content related to this tweet" with "this tweet" being the 😲 of what's to come for Chenford (from October 11th) - Naked Time in Chenfordland?

November 14th - Eric on IG with vid of Tim getting paintballed and Jenna's IG story 5x14 on script header - pic flipped so as to have some hope of reading (gives us an idea of ep number that was being filmed)

November 15th - Mel video of Tru swinging on rope swing in background 🤣

November 18th - "Tamara" back on set

November 21st - Mel IG story in kimono 👀 Naked Time in Chenfordland?

I really think the writers and show runner think that backstory bothers casual viewers...

There's that, and the fact they think that Tim was shot on Lucy's first day as a rookie. So, ya know, backstory for the show you actually write for is tough, people (but not tough for the fan fic writers that don't actually get paid for writing rookie content) *sigh*

Sometimes I think the show forgets that Lucy was like... kidnapped by a serial killer and buried alive, and died? And that her best friend that she lived with got murdered? And that her parents don’t approve of her career or life choices so she doesn’t even technically have blood family around? And that she’s also been through like a hundred other things that never get brought up again? Yeah, I think about this a lot

There are some that are not loving the way Chenford is going.

There are some that are happy with everything.

There are some that are happy with some things, but not all.

In the same way there shouldn't be calls to halt all that positivity and love, people! There shouldn't be calls to silence the critics.

If everyone loved the same thing then there wouldn't be so many ways to order a coffee.

I like a lot of cream and sugar, you might like an espresso. Is either way of drinking coffee wrong? No.

People's tumblr is their own tumblr, not yours. Reblog the happy, reblog the critics, reblog a bit of both. It's all good (or bad... ummm.)

That's my take on it.

How much can be taken from the hospital locations, Eric being filmed against a black background, and "Lucy" in a floral top? Eric in a coat (and he does wear a coat over his black police shirt a lot - so it's hard to know when the Sergeant II stripe first drops onto that uniform... more on this later)

December 1st - Mel IG story in black tee and police vests. Chen & Thorsen 👍 ('Sen & Chen?! 😝)

December 7th - Melissa on IG with a bts clip, could Lucy and Lopez be working together on something?

December 10th (ish) - Eric does a cameo and he's not wearing a coat over his police shirt. There is one more stripe on his shoulder insignia. Meaning he is now Sergeant II.

December 11th - bts video (Eric once again in a coat) but it looks like he's wearing the same shirt from the previous paintball bts video (posted by Eric on IG)

Backstory? Pah!

Lucy was trapped in a barrel? Yeah, let's just put in a line about escape rooms, no one will remember.

There is a DOD tattoo? Eeeeek! Too dark and twisty for us now!

Can anyone remember when Tim got shot? Yeah, let's just say it was on Lucy's first day, no one remembers S1 anyhow.

Now, who can think of a way to make meth labs funny...

need the rest of season 5 to not just be all shits and giggles like I need more serious plot lines, I’m so fed up with this show trying to be comedic like it’s just not doing it for me man 😐

Yeah... I dunno.

It wasn't MEH meh.

I feel like I ordered a coffee and got coffee.

But I feel like I wanted a hot coffee and got one that was lukewarm.

The writers could be writing the absolute shiitake mushrooms out of Chenford, and some of the scenes make nice gif sets, but I feel that it's just lacking SOMETHING, for me.

The writers have been pining to write Chenford for 5 seasons, and this is the best they can come up with? There are people who bingewatch The Rookie in like a week and write better fanfiction than this.

And, like Lucy, I didn't stutter.
