Iron Dream on Amazon VD

My first short film is now available on Amazon Video Direct.

I'm happy to announce you that Iron Dream, a.k.a. Rêve de fer my first (and last) short film, is now available to stream, rent or buy on Amazon Video Direct UK & US platforms.

The film is 15mn long and stars Alexandre Brasseur from the hit french TV show Demain Nous Appartient on TF1 (you may also have seen him in The Collection), and chinese actress / YouTube host Yubai Zhang. 

It’s a crazy mix of The Avengers, The Wild Wild West, and Les Nouvelles Aventures de Vidocq TV Shows, with Hong-Kong cinema from the seventies and eighties, and a zeist of James Cameron, Manga & Steampunk, something I believe quite different from anything produced in France currently.

Iron Dream, a.k.a. Rêve de fer acts as a prequel & taster for a full length film I'm currently finishing scripting, that will be my directorial debut, called La Machine Infernale, set 7 years after this story. Both of these are based on a forthcoming graphic novel series project, to be drawn by english artist/colorist John Higgins (Batman: The Killing Joke, Dredd, Watchmen) and scripted by myself. 

The pitch is basically super-heroes during the French Revolution. Though of course we don’t give it all away here. Iron Dream plays in french, subtitled in english, with fully localised inserts and credits.

In the US, you will be able to stream Iron Dream with ads for free for one month, forever if you are an Amazon Prime subscriber. In the UK, free streaming is not available due to Amazon policies, you can stream it if you are an Amazon Prime member only. In both platforms, you can also buy it or rent it.

Of course being an action oriented film, it’s made to be seen on the big screen with full 5.1 kickass sound. We already have several festivals showings set for this spring internationaly, and there will be limited showings in Paris, Lyon and other french towns.
